Moments
Far too often we say... this or that is mine
Eyes on moments we value too cheaply
A word or sentence released to relieve
Severs or chills and moments fall, wasting
A dream or ambition gives power and pride
Lives surge brightly into the promising sky
And monuments and towers are raised
Division is underplayed, and wounds open
A child’s need, youth’s flight, age’s wry regret
Bleed away moment by moment unnoticed
A kiss in haste, and tender words unspoken
Leaves on the Sycamore turn slowly to red
‘til a voice mumbles horror down the phone
and moments too real crowd suddenly in..
When did we last walk down by the riverside
Far from the smoke and the dust, you and I?

Moments Arent Moments
Tender, warm and serene
Are the words that might come close to having
Remnants of the feelings that we can no longer hide
Mighty, shining and clear
Are but mere expressions that dont come near
To the ever glowing eminence of light in our eyes tonight
cause moments arent moments
Until they are moments like this magic moment of ours
And magics not magic
Until it is magic like magical love in our hearts
Feeling with tender love-bloom
Gentle, quiet, so soft
Are the wings of love that can send us off
To an ever splendor unknown to all in our time
Trusting in the unknown and giving in to what feelings have shown
Will take us to altered intimacies in our lives
Where well find
That moments arent moments
Until they are moments like this magic moment of ours
And magics not magic
Until it is magic like magical love in our hearts
Feeling with tender love-bloom
cause moments arent moments
Until they are moments like this magic moment of ours
And magics not magic
Until it is magic like magical love in our hearts
Feeling with tender love-bloom

Moments
We have treasured moments
we collect everyday,
as we walk our journey
along life’s long and winding road.
Moments that we want to keep
for some sad and lonely day.
Moments to treasure,
when the sun refuses to shine.
Moments to remember
and call upon at anytime.
Moments when we are blessed,
with love and friendship divine.
Moments that we gather,
with love in our memories.
Moments, beautiful moment,
we gather everyday.

If That Is Understood
We bring to each other what we have,
At that moment.
And each moment that we bring,
May not come from places familiar.
If that is understood...
Why can't we seem to meet
For moments we keep to understand
There will be moments
When we rather not be near each other!
Instead of taking moments discussing misunderstandings...
Let us take those moments not to be found!

Magic Moments
Magic moments happen in our lives
when we are kissed by an angel
under the moonlight.
A magic moment we cling on to,
just one of the many magic moments
our lives pass through.
The sweet scent of flowers that surround us
in the summer while love lingers in the air,
more magic moments there.
Magic moments that fill our lives with joy,
moments that rekindle love’s dying flame
making it burn strong again.

The Moments After
In the moments after you had gone
It seemed as though time had
Gathered together
To stand beside me,
Perfectly still
Waiting expectantly for me
To cry or scream
To speak or just to breathe
My first breath alone
Without you
Lonliness poured itself empty into me
Filling all of the spaces
Sorrow had missed
In the moments after you had gone
The world was suddenly strange
And cold
All that I once knew to be true
Became secrets untold
Noises whispered softly around me
Careful not to disturb the
Fragile awareness
That insists it is real
That I see but don't recognize
That I touch yet can't feel
What once was is no more
Now each and every moment
Consists of the moments after
And not one moment before

One More
One more
Every kiss I cherish every hug I want forget.
The sweet things u do me that makes my eyes sweat.
I hold every moment with you tight to my chest.
From cuddling at home or cheating on that test.
And all I want is one more.
From sleepless nights staying up on the phone.
Cooking you dinner when we were home alone.
These moments may have past but they'll never be gone.
But this that's going on doesn't mean our futures blown.
All I want is one more.
One more chance to earn that one first dance.
Take me by the hand an there want be a second glance.
No more looking back because the grass is greener where we're headed.
holding hands on shaded islands or kissing you in Paris.
All I want is one more chance.
I know u r scared but I can't live like this.
In the last four months there's a lot of moments that I missed.
An I don't want to miss another moment.
The time is now the moments for us now let's own it.
Please just give me one more chance.

Foreverness
The moment we began sharing moments...
I knew time between us would be suspended.
I felt a connection that would never end.
The moment we began sharing moments.
That beginning that came to us yesterday?
Has expanded to eliminate an ending.
A foreverness has come,
The moment we began sharing moments.
The moment our sparks met...
To do what is needed to collect,
And regain our purpose that connects!
To reunite again with God!

Family Moments
Each family has moments,
Moments of happiness and emotion.
Moments that show love and kindness.
To each member of the family.
Some family moments are sad,
Some show hate that never lasts.
Then the truth shines and shows,
Each family moment is special after all.
Family moments may show happiness,
Happiness that lights up the earth.
Family Moments are amazing,
So don't forget your...
Family Moments.

Breaking point
Sometimes mere moments do linger,
when your eye catches mine intimately and honest
then I am simultaneously both scared and happy,
sometimes mere moments do linger,
when your eye catches mine intimately and honest,
when you linger with me without words,
sometimes then our love is pure
when your eye catches mine intimately and honest,
when you linger with me without words
and you wait that I tell you about my day,
about the glory and hell of work,
when you linger with me without words,
and you wait that I tell you about my day;
when I rather want to know more about you,
when I want to forget the rush, the distress
and you wait that I tell you about my day,
when I rather want to know more about you,
when a moment comes to a breaking point,
then sometimes I am surprised by your beauty,
when I rather want to know more about you,
when a moment comes to a breaking point,
sometimes mere moments do linger,
when we both remove our own masks,
when a moment comes to a breaking point;
sometimes mere moments do linger,
when your eye catches mine intimately and honest
then I am simultaneously both scared and happy,
sometimes mere moments do linger.

One By One
Bobby lakind/michael mcdonald
Where and why Im destined to go
Right here and now thats all I know
On either side future or past
Neither is real both fade so fast
So one by one were given these moments to live just as one by one theyre taken away
So one by one Im taking each day in my stride
And one by one the memories stay
Good times are still there to find
When times are their worst
Keep your eyes open wide
cause through it all are moments that shine
And moments that glow
Im gonna be there for mine
So one by one were given these moments to live just as one by one theyre taken away
So one by one Im taking each day in my stride
And one by one the memories stay
Even when youre close to a dream
It can still let you down
Youll always have a chance to give up
So why do it now
So one by one were given these moments to live just as one by one theyre taken away
So one by one Im taking each day in my stride
And one by one the memories stay

Dance Into My Life
Dance into my life, only for a while
Whirl me round and round
Dance me like an angel child
Hes passing through my world
He doesnt even know
Times not on my side
No word or goodbye, Ill go
So dance on, right now I want to dance on
Until the moments over
And Ill be going home
(Ill be going home)
Just dance on, right now
I want to dance on
I cant let him notice the tears in my eyes
In my eyes, in my eyes
Dance into my life
Hold the moment fast
Make believe in us
Nothing real in life can last dance within my life
Dance me to the door
I cant see the time, but the time has come for sure
So dance on, right now I want to dance on
Until the moments over
And Ill be going home
(Ill be going home)
Just dance on, right now
I want to dance on
I cant let him notice the tears in my eyes
In my eyes, in my eyes
Dance with me, dance with me
Wont you dance with me
Dance with me, dance with me
Wont you dance with me
So dance on, right now
I want to dance on
Until the moments over
And Ill be going home
(Ill be going home)
So dance on, right now
I want to dance on
Until the moments over
And Ill be going home

Moments
a life
a single life
our lives
follows
follow dignified bearings
compass bearings
charted
upon self set course
chosen
by a moment
those significant
moments
moments
mere fleetings
moments
moments
seeded upon cast wind
of our own actions
actions
which we shall be
accountable for
for for
the duration of
our lives
upon great
moments chosen
conscience
wisely are
our characters
our reputations
won
upon
smallness
smallness
of a single
solitary act
can a single
act ungoverned
our characters
reputations
can be
lost forever

Thoughts On Love....
the hardest thing we will ever do
is to love. for love undresses the
parts of us with which we're not
so familiar...
there is no grasping in love, no
real or implied ownership. that
which we give in time returns, but
who holds a clock to the tides?
love is itself a journey that often
takes many lifetimes... it is not
an end in itself, love is the journey.
time and experience and often tragedy
ignite the flame... but the fire burns
long and slow.
love is a way of seeing, a depth of seeing,
when the eyes touch and realize. love is
the gift of moments, and only moments are
eternal.
love hears from the heart, spoken and unspoken.
love gives, without thought or guilt.
love is the straw in the nest, the open
mouth fed, and the moment of fear when wings
first stretch in flight.
love is the gift, and the gift is journey...
for it is in the journey that we find our selves!

A Moment To Remember
A moment to Remember
This night is too beautiful to behold, moon and silence. My heart aches.
Know I will wake up at dawn and regret that I can’t take it with me.
It will all be erased one day and I shall not know that I ever lived. I have
nothing, cannot own anything but my own ageing body, all I can do is to
enjoy the rare moments of fulfillments. I hear a plane high up see its light,
full of passengers going home and back to work. Why would anyone want
to leave this place? Across the road, in a darkened house, a man lies dying
racked by pain he can’t even shave himself. He sees not the full moon.
My life consists of moments, not like takes at a film studio that can be done
over and over again till it’s right. Some moments are too sad to behold.
Do not think of this now, I will drink another cold beer, smoke a cigarette,
look at the stars and dream.

In These Moments Of Revelation
IN THESE MOMENTS OF REVELATION
In these moments of revelation
We are where we are meant to be.
It may be the Music of a voice
Or it may be some manifestation of great Light in words
A Poem-
It may be in a deed of Courage-
It is when we see in the world
And in humanity
A Greatness that justifies and sanctifies Everything.
We thank God who Gives us Moments of Life
Where the Beauty of Being
Lives in us
And makes us know too
We are at home
In Your soul.

The Missing Link
I play my guitar
I sing from my heart
and people clap.
There is this short
moment, a moment
of being heard,
a moment of being
valued on the scene.
At the end of the show
people say thanks,
words of appreciation,
words that warm the heart
and elevate the mind.
It is only a brief moment,
a brief moment
of feeling different,
as someone special
among the crowd.
And after this moment,
comes the monotone
moments of feeling alone,
of being lost in the dark.

Waving to moments passing by
Moments happy moments
people think about them
people write about them
people talk about them
people hope about them
I see moments
lots of moments
but I wave to my moments
as they pass me by...
My life is a ship
on an Ocean deep
passing by is the ship 'Could've been'
it holds all my moments in its keep
I stand on my lifes deck
waving to moments till they're just a speck
Moments happy moments
people live them
people grab them
people make them
people savour them
but I wave to my moments
as they pass me by...
Goodbye 'Could've been'
Goodbye moments...

In Sadness Tears May Guide Us
in sadness tears may befriend us
happy memories may guide us
back into myriads of love moments
moments when we were nurtured in love
moments when we were embraced in love
moments when we were shaped in love
such moments are safe inside us
such moments will navigate guide us
such moments are strength within us

Treasured Moments
Every one of us has moments,
treasured moments to call our own.
They come when we’re not looking,
and linger with us a lifetime.
They bring happiness
that we can look back on,
through our growing years.
No one can steal them from us,
nor taint them in anyway.
They are our treasured moments,
that linger with us,
even when we pray.
They are little time capsules
that hold our world together,
when we are feeling down.
They are the joys we reached,
when heaven said, its you.
Treasured moments
like photographs,
capture a moment in time.
We think of some thing to associate them with.
So when we see that thing
we can enjoy them once more,
those treasured moments.
