To be an Astronaut
To be an astronaut would be fun
Rocket to the moon or blown to kingdom come
Either way you'll see the stars
Whole, one would hope, or in many parts
Distance is irrelevant, for this we cannot yet comprehend
Time, on the other hand, is guaranteed one day to end
So there you have it, life's history captured in a spacemans helmet bowl
Except to say farewell or, as the Americans would say, 'goodbye yoll'.

End of time
My time has come to an end
For I have now left this world and said goodbye (I hope) to all my friends
In reflection my life hasn't been all that bad

An Arab king was sick in his state of decrepitude so that all

I spent my precious life in hopes, alas!
That every desire of my heart will be fulfilled.
My wishes were realized, but to what profit? Since
There is no hope that my past life will return.
The hand of fate has struck the drum of departure.

A Farewell to a Manager
'Today brings the end of our trip
our time as a group is now over, that's it
I love the simple word hello
It always rings an enjoyable bell
But one of the saddest words i know
is the tearful word farewell.
The word farewell often brings tears
And I've never known it to bring happiness
in fact the time you say farewell
could also mean your very last goodbye
Farewell is a feeling
of something that’s gone
Farewell is a memory
that stays for too long
Farewell is everything
that’s been left unspoken

I never expected you to leave but you ran away,
