We didnt grow up together
But went to 9th grade together
Didn't know eachother
But now where best friends with eachother

My girl and me, we had never meet or seen eachother

New Begining Graduation
Having all these years behind us already
going on different trips thru

A February Morning
I had a dream last night that I saw
you at the shopping mall. I, as an
unemployed man, panhandling, and
playing guitar to make money for
soup and a sandwich. You, a beautifully
average girl, something struck me as
special.
Somehow, we knew eachother, between
the way you looked at me and the way
I looked back at you, there was no need
for words, we hugged like two lovers in a
train station upon a spouses return.
To prove my love for you, I carved your
name into my guitar, I loved that guitar,
I loved you.
I awoke, to my alarm, my parents wishing
eachother a happy valentines day.
I didn't want to go to school.
Hour Follows Hour
hour follows hour
like water follows water
everything is governed by the rule
of one thing leads to another
you can't really place blame
cuz blame is much to messy
some was bound to get on you
while you were tryin to put it on me
and don't fool yourself
into thinking things are simple
nobody's lying still the stories don't line up
why do you try to hold on
to what you'll never get a hold on
you wouldn't try to put the ocean
in a paper cup
cuz i have had something to prove
as long as i know thers something
that needs improvment
and you know that every time i move
i make a woman's movement
and first you decide
what you've gotta do
then you go out and do it
and maybe the most we can do

is just to see eachother through it
hour follows hour like water in a river
and from one to the next
we don't know what each hour will deliver
we just call it like we see it
call it out loud as we can
and then afterwards we call it all water over the dam
maybe the moral higher ground
ain't as high as it seems

i just hope it was okay
i know it wasn't perfect
i hope in the end we can laugh
and say it was all worth it
cuz i have had something to prove

Two Lost Souls
Surrounded by a sea of black.
Not knowing how to find the things they lack.
Two lost souls that need true love.
Noone understands these complex beings.
Their wants and needs far exceed than than others can read.
They cannot see the depth which bounds within them,
they'd get lost among the trees.
Two lost souls that need eachothers trust,
but opportunity has passed things rough.
They need to see,
