Synopsis for Thad
A member of an alien race
I mingle with the populace.
There’s not a lot of difference
except I have an extra sense.
I can read minds quite easily
and what I learn displeases me.
Few care about their fellow man.
Most do not give a tinkers damn.
Soon I must submit my report
I’ve given it a lot of thought,
I do not think the human race
is ready yet to take its place.
In the stellar community.
They have not reached maturity
They’re well developed technically
but are retarded morally.
It makes me sad but it is true.
They are not as yet ready to
be considered civilised.
They have not even recognised.
That they are kept in quarantine.
Just as they have always been.
By races wiser far than they
who make quite sure that they can’t stray.
From their small island galaxy
to spread their brand of anarchy
at will across the universe.
I can imagine nothing worse.
Perhaps I have been here too long.
I must admit I could be wrong
I see them as a hopeless case.
A fierce barbarian warlike race.
Another thousand years or so.
Might be enough to let them grow
beyond their adolescent stage
their flashes of insensate rage.
If they are thwarted in their aims
Like children play their nasty games.
I think that we should leave them be
continue watching carefully.
For any shred of evidence to show
they’ve learnt sufficient sense.
To treat each other honestly
communicating mentally.
Although they broadcast and receive
they can’t control it. I believe
that their aggression stems from fear
Which hopefullywill disappear
when they can use telepathy.
Communicating openly.
Its been a strange experience
to realise the difference.
Between races who cannot lie
and men who lie instinctively.
My tour of duty’s nearly done
and very soon I will be gone.
Back to where thoughts flow mind to mind
and leave this wretched world behind.
Although they have my sympathy.
It can’t come fast enough for me.

The Watchers
Why should we fear the alien?
who seem to be observing us.
I fear much more my fellow men
It seems to me ridiculous.
That we assume hostility
of which there’s little evidence.
Perhaps the strange craft which we see
are merely on reconnaissance.
They’re tasked to watch the human race
but not allowed to interfere
. For some signs of maturity.
They are afraid that we draw near
to having the technology.
Which will enable us to spread
from our small island galaxy.
A happening they view with dread.
They know we are belligerent.
We have been watched for centuries
The fear the threat that we present.
We’re quarantined like some disease.
These monitors form outer space
who keep a wary eye on us.
Are right to fear the human race.
They are not merely curious.
Despite the progress man has made
to them we lack maturity...
They have good cause to be afraid
we threaten their security..
They have the right to be afraid
of human ingenuity.
Perhaps in time we’ll make the grade
when we attain maturity.
Man is his own worst enemy
he sees each stranger as a foe
and meets him with hostility.
We dare not let our own fear show.
Why should we fear the alien.
There is no reason for alarm
They do not act like other men
why should we fear that they mean harm..

Too Late
The time has come for harvesting.
Long overdue; we are too late.
The human race is flourishing
they have discovered how to hate.
Warlike and belligerent.
They’re not the docile race we knew
By some genetic accident.
The human race evolved into
a race of high intelligence.
Which has advanced technologies
We daren’t deny the evidence
which is presented to our eyes.
Therefore we must tread carefully
they will not fear us any more.
They’ll look on us suspiciously
Not simply worship and adore.
As they had been conditioned to
when first we landed on this star
They saw us as their guardians
come to protect them from afar.
The fools accepted us as gods
to whom they must make sacrifice.
Now time has evened up the odds
we can not hope to fool them twice.
We should just leave. It would be wise.
erase all traces we have been.
Except for racial memories
we have no way of wiping clean.
I am afraid I must confess
of what the human race might do.
The rate at which they can progress
there seems to be no limit to.
Should they suspect that we exist
They will not rest until they know
and with research they will persist.
They simply will not let it go.
Though once they were inferior
I think they are our equals now
and will become superior.
If the laws of fate allow.
Our race grows old and decadent
Perhaps its time to leave the stage.
It seems to me quite apparent
the human race will now engage.
In doing what we used to do
Exploiting every race they find
because they feel entitled to
again like us they will be blind.
To the potentiality
which younger races might possess
in pursuit of their destiny.
The speed at which they make progress.
We’ve had our season in the sun
the human race will have theirs too.
It has been so since time begun
the old must give way to the new.

The race and the entrants
Running the RaceRunning the race, the entrant is thinking,
How shall I go, shall I be fast tracking;
The man calls their names and they each get down,
But someone starts off early, oh what a frown.
They all get ready, and the man says ready, set go,
Off they all start, around the track they all know,
The runner he thinks, as he races along there,
Have I done enough practice, as the crowd do stare.
But; soon he starts to put speed in each step,
And races ahead, The pace has some depth;
As they come up fast to the first time round,
One of the runners knocks another to the ground.
The runner is now fifteen feet ahead of the rest,
He wants to win the race, another medal in his nest;
As the race comes soon to the end for each one,
That entrant remembered the race of life soon to come.
As Paul had spoken of the race we all run,
In life it's not how much we have, but what we've done;
We run the race of life, seeking to live right,
Serving God our Father, walking in the light.
As we get to the end of the race we run,
When we finish our race well hear hopefully well done;
We can't go wrong when we do right and serve the Lord,
Pray, show kindness and care, and study His Word.

Reprieve
The street are silent there is no sound.
The lack of noise is frightening.
There is nobody to be found.
I find this most unsettling.
No sign of damage to be seen
this absence is what puzzles me.
Like a deserted movie scene.
Not as busy as it should be.
My men are searching thoroughly
we keep in touch by radio.
The silence is disturbing me.
What happened here we have to know.
This was a thriving market town
A centre of activity
Then suddenly it closes down.
Bereft of all humanity
Where have the people gone and why.
There’s no sign of catastrophe
The normal rules do not apply
I can’t interpret what I see.
I call H.Q.with my report.
And they decide on quarantine.
Which seems to me a last resort
It’s their decision it 's not mine.
I merely do as I am told
Instruct my men to block the roads.
The strangeness makes my blood run cold.
I wonder what this can forebode.
Thousands of folks have disappeared
without any apparent cause
To say the least I find it weird.
There’s not the slightest sign of force.
As if they all went willingly
transported to some other place
by some alien machinery.
The product of another race.
My orders come from the top brass
nobody in nobody out
no news will be allowed to pass.
Strictly enforced I have no doubt.
The powers that be have no idea
what can be done if anything
The one thing which is very clear
Is that they’re close to panicking.
The have no precedent to guide
their thoughts on what has happened here.
Instinctively they try to hide
the facts and will succeed I fear.
Perhaps some other government
has had the same experience.
And covered up the incident
Because they lack the common sense.
To understand that they should share
What information they possess
It may be happening every where.
I’m terrified I must confess.
My men go missing one by one
but no one ever sees them leave.
One minute here the next one gone.
I am the last I do believe.
Then suddenly I understand
I too have left the world behind.
I have attained the promised land
The land I never thought to find.
The great rescue is under way
You will be rescued in your turn
when you are called do not delay.
If you refuse then you will burn.
The sun is ready to explode
engulf the planets as it dies.
We have to take the only road
although it comes as surprise.
To know that we were not alone
although considered primitive.
by other races to us unknown
Who offer us the chance to live.
We will be monitored of course
and taught the rules must obey.
But gently not by use of force.
Belligerence is not the way.
We have to learn to live in peace.
and lose our insecurity.
The constant battling must cease
to prove we’ve reached maturity.

If You Look For Evil
If you look for evil good you cannot see
For your eyes only tell you what they want you in others to see
Of good and bad races you keep telling me
But your opinions are different to mine we see things differently.
I've worked with those of different races and backgrounds and in truth I can say
That people as a whole are quite good in their own way
Of different beliefs and cultures but I found them to be okay
If you show respect for others respect to you they will pay.
When you start comparing races you I do not wish to hear
your ignorance on such matters only based on your fear
Of those you see as different to you difference you cannot embrace
'Tis wrong to condemn people because of their race.
If you are only looking for flaws in those who are different to you then flaws you will find
To the good that is in them you do become blind
In this multicultural World your thinking renders you as small
One must admire those who believe in a fair go for all.

Last Man for friend J.T.Early
I am alone, last of my race
The reign of man is nearly done
I wonder who will take our place.
I am the last and only one.
WE had our chance but failed the test.
Our foolish pride ensured we would
Because we thought that we knew best
instead of living as we should.
We chose instead belligerence
and Might is Right became our creed.
Despite the mounting evidence
that we wrong we paid no heed.
We flouted Mother Nature’s rules
Took much more than our rightful share
A race of self destructive fools
for others rights we did not care.
It had to come it was bound to.
She’d reached the end of her patience
and knew exactly what to do.
So she unleashed a pestilence.
Against which man had no defence.
The doctors failed although they tried
they simply lacked the competence.
Each passing day more people died.
I am alone last of my race
and I too soon must leave the stage.
I wonder who will take our place
to usher in a brand new age.

For One His Age He's Not Learnt Much
The old fellow Bill he spoke quite loud he must have had drank a few beers
And it would seem he does not have that much between his ears
And anyone of Irish race at him would take offence
For one his age he's not learnt much and he doesn't make much sense.
Of his fellow golf club members he did not like they are Irish he did say
And these of course are put down words when used in such a way
And by putting down a few he disliked he put down a whole race
As he spoke into a microphone in a very public place.
To Bill it might have seemed a joke but such a joke can go too far
When used in a golf club rooms or tavern or in a public bar
One would think he would have more sense that he'd have reached that stage
But to him it doesn't seem to apply that wisdom comes with age.
At the Eastwood Golf Club rooms in Kilsyth he took the microphone
One who ought to have better sense he should have stayed at home
For by putting down a few he disliked he put a whole race down
And the victims of racism not always black or brown.

What The World Has Come To Be(travon Martin)
This world is still segregated
Face the facts
We didn't get too far from when martin Luther king Jr. Was alive
Yes races are now working to gethar
But now there is not only still racism
There is now race on race crime
All these thoughts rush through my mind like a ton of brick
The old folks are telling us young folks what's wrong and right
And that we should not fight and kill one another
But it will not stick
And I'm sick of all this! ! !
Why do I always have to worry about getting shot?
If I'm just walking from the store caring a bag o skittles
And an Arizona drink
Why should I die because you think I look suspicious?
But you follow me and kill me because you feel threatened
What sense does that makes?
Can we just all love and look out for each other instead of killing one another?

A polluted thoughts
Have we polluted ourselves completely?
Is there any dramatic change very lately?
Is there still any thing left to think seriously?
There is serious matter danger looms large obviously
There is all-round poor rating and dismal show
We are at low ebb and no willingness to grow
There is systematic genocide and currently flow
In our actions, thoughts and in mind it blows
No field is left untouched
Greenery has disappeared and forests are torched
New and unknown fields are searched
Everything has come to our possession and encroached
We have developed the tendency to grab
We go cautiously and advance step by step
We take enough care to see that there are no lapses
It must remain there unnoticed and not reported as cases
It is tremendous job undertaken by us
We don’t express regret or make any fuss
We are preparing for works holocaust and disaster
There is no fear from any one and act as great master
There is pollution in mind where all dangerous ideas emanate
It not only encourages such move but cleverly generate
It has nothing to do with human race at any rate
It is deliberate move to annihilate entire race on particular date
We have embarked upon a gigantic project with masterly stroke
It may take years to come to the light and people woke up
It is dangerous ploy to play with precious lives
People may condemn it later as they firmly believe
Nature and human race has lived for centuries together
Nothing has changed in sense and remained intact together
No one can think of playing with fire in their own house
It may certainly endanger survival and people may certainly grouse
The toxic waste in natural flow of river can drive to destruction
This is done purely without any sensible thinking and deliberate instructions
The entire population living on the banks may face their lives at stake
The industries may be enjoying the fruits and cutting the cakes
Everybody is concerned of material gain and it has remained main thrust
They have no regard for human lives and lot the complete trust
We have polluted our minds at dangerous level
We have only one aim and that is to gain and excel
It is strange thing that has developed in our mind
It s implication may come to be known whenever we find
Nature may not remain mere spectator and prove very kind
It may have its own role to teach and warn the blinds

Prejudice and Racism
Prejudice
I don't like him or her or them
because they are
white, black, Asian, European, Middle Eastern,
Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Atheist,
those narrow-minded vegetarians,
and those cruel murderers who eat meat.
Look at those geeks, and nerds, and goths.
Why would anyone want to be emo or scene?
What kind of loser likes classical music and books?
Look at those disgraces to humanity
who have tattoos and piercings.
Look at how fat she is, and how skinny he is!
You jocks and preppy girls, you think you are so good.
Obviously anyone who watches TV or drinks beer is a bum,
and don't you hate those teens always texting on their phones?
People are prejudiced
against everyone and everything,
how you look, and what you do,
whether you are young or old,
male or female, what you believe and what you don't.
And let us not forget those people
who are prejudiced against people
who are prejudiced.
Racism
The blacks
the whites
the Asians
the Indians
the Middle Easterns
the Italians
the Jews
the Mexicans
the Russians
the Chinese
the Japanese
the English
the French
the humans.
No matter where you are from
there are people who will hate you
because of your race and nationality.
You cannot control
where you are born
nor your heritage
any more
than you can control
being a human.
Yet, that does not matter
to the racists.
Why would you judge someone
on such a silly thing?
Does it really make a difference
whether you were born here or there?
Does the color of your skin
affect your mind, heart, or soul?
Do the faults of our ancestors
become our faults?
Perhaps,
perhaps race does matter.
Perhaps someone who is white
is intrinsically different
than someone who is black.
Perhaps all Asians
are different
than Europeans.
It is true,
that certain characteristics
are more common in some races than others -
stereotypes do not form without reason.
Yet even so,
even if a stereotype does apply to a race,
does that make the race good or bad?
And even if a stereotype does apply to a race,
can that stereotype be applied
to every member of the race?
Is not every single person in the world
different and unique?
Can there never be exceptions to rules?
Must you really hate someone
because of where they are from
and who there parents are?

Chaos Rules for Friend Thad
The Dragoness last of her race.
Lies somnolent beneath the sun,
there will be none to take her place.
Remembering her youth long gone.
Three thousand years of life she’s seen.
The Dragons are a long lived race.
She can recall when there had been
a world of peace, a perfect place.
But upstart monkeys, protomen.
A warlike and fast breeding race
which quickly and grew again.
Usurped the Dragons living space.
They forced the Dragons to withdraw
from where they’d lived for centuries.
But still the men demanded more
of the fertile territories.
Though Dragons were more powerful.
By nature peaceably inclined
did not resist as usual
and this encouraged humankind.
To spread across each continent
and keep the Dragons in retreat.
Their numbers grew incontinent.
The Dragon race could not compete.
The Dragons rule brought to a close
The age of peace on earth was gone
simply because the dragons chose
not to resist.Should they have done?
That is the question in her mind
as she waits patiently to die.
The last survivor of her kind
She asks but she gets no reply.
The human race now rules supreme.
Rather a doubtful victory
A night mare fashioned from a dream
for man is mans worst enemy.

Race Of Veterans
RACE of veterans! Race of victors!
Race of the soil, ready for conflict! race of the conquering march!

Race henceforth owning no law but the law of itself;
Race of passion and the storm.

Just One Girl
Now some guys,
they wanna run around.
Playin loose, playin fast,
out there in every town.
But this guy,
I'll be satisfied
with that certain kind o' look
in the corner of her eye.
I'm findin' my direction and I know what counts,
got my wild side just for one.
I'll give her my affection, never let her down
when the right girl comes along.
I don't ask much
from this big wide world.
Just wanna make a difference
to just one girl.
I don't care
how this whole plan works,
if I can make a difference in the life
of Just One Girl.
Now the last time
I was losing the race
for the biggest payoff
lookin' in the wrong place.
But this time,
now I know what I feel.
Got a handle on it.
Now I'm livin' it real.
There's been so many others,
so many empty nights.
That was never me anyway.
It was just a lonely boy
who was lookin for his life.
If you're out there
I'm here to say...
I don't ask much
from this big wide world.
Just wanna make a difference
to just one girl.
I don't care
how this whole plan works,
if I can make a difference in the life
of Just One Girl.
Here's hopin' that this message will find you.
Don't miss it, in a flash it may blind you.
I don't ask much,
don't wanna change the world.
I just wanna make a difference
to Just One Girl.
Hey!
I don't ask much
from this big wide world.
Just wanna make a difference
to just one girl.
I don't care
how this whole plan works,
if I can make a difference in the life
of Just One Girl.
Just One Girl.
Mm yeah.

True Blue
(rod stewart / ron wood)
Never been a millionaire
And I tell you mama I dont care
Never gonna own a race-horse
Or a fast back mid-engine porsche
Dont think Ill own a private jet
On the stock exchange Im no threat
So wont you help me make up my mind
Dont you think Id better get myself back home
Sitting in the moonlight glow
Excuse me if my feelings show
Watching all the trucks roll by
Dreaming up an alibi
You see, back home Im considered the fool
But maybe theyre right I dont know
So cant you help make up my mind
Dont you think Id better get myself back home
Who cares
Daddy says hell buy me car
To drive just as far as I need
He wants me back at any expense
Hes got a lot more money than sense
Funny but now that Im gone
They all wanna be concerned
Oh please can you make up my mind
Dont you think Id better get myself back home
Just dont know what to do
Maybe Ill walk, maybe Ill ride, maybe Ill never ever decide
Get out da way
I gotta get on home
I gotta get home as soon as I can

Set to receive
Mind is set to receive
With all cunning ideas to deceive
Yet it is called brilliance
I too think same at once
It may travel far off and come back
Make the place and rightfully stake
Even thought nothing belongs in person as such
But it is mind with all thoughts and worries so much
They jumble up in mind and crowd
Speak in strength and so loud
I wish to get up and shout
Ask them to leave and get out
They create siren in head
Get me no where to lead
Don’t allow me to think and read
I pray them to leave and plead
They may invade aimlessly
This may leave me restlessly
I will lye down and not think much
They may come and go as such
Mind is their refuge ground
The place is easily found
Nothing to worry and plenty to explore
Make men desperate and compel to think more

Strange And Ironic
While NASA tries to read your mind
Research labs create new life
Did we really walk on the moon?
Are you still watching the news?
Strange and ironic
How trusty is this world
Strange and ironic
How we take care of the Earth
While Middle East burns and suffers
The lobby cheers and cracks in laughter
It is a shame, we're not gonna make it
Visions are behind bars
It's like an illness or a disease
It's like we're made for war
Strange and ironic
How we believe in God
Strange and ironic
Since everything's a fraud
While markets trade human parts
We ask ourselves if science is art
It is a shame, we're not gonna make it
Because it is out of our hands
It is out of reach, out of proportions
And soon will come to an end
All I wanted was to disappear
Do or die!
It is a shame, we're not gonna make it
Everything you know is wrong
A race for knowledge, a quest for power
So who is number one?
All I wanted was to disappear

No Difference
The other day I wrote a poem
and a friend asked me how I
could feel the pain of her kind,
as she was a different race from me.
You are white and I am black,
so how could you feel the pain I felt?
The answer was simple
we were not of a different race.
There is only one race, the human race.
We maybe different in the colour of our skin,
but we share each other’s pain.
I share yours and you share mine
whenever we are struck by grief.
We may eat different food,
but we both breathe the same air.
We see through different coloured eyes,
but we both see the same things.
There is no difference between us
except within our colour
and I am a man and you are a woman,
but that is where the difference ends.
We both have a heart that beats
and lungs that breathe in air.
No difference there.
If we are cut, we bleed
and our blood is red.
No difference there.
Therefore, you see I can feel your hurt,
feel the tears when you cry.
Now my question is if we were blind
what colour would you see?
The answer is simple,
the same colour as me.
There is no difference between us;
we each belong to the same race.
We are the same,
but with a different face.

A turning gold
I fear of being called old
but in fact turning Gold
astute behavior and approach bold
head of the family and very nice hold
Calmness like sea and brightness like sun
family members would love and make fun
my try to win the race with stick walk run
children may point with small barrel gun
'Grandpa, your time is over'
we will give you cover
your inning should not last
as you are aging very fast
Don't leave us behind
where from we will find?
you are our dad's dad and very kind
we touch your feet as you are soft and mild
It turns me old when somethig I hear
“One time handsome may not remain dear”
He is loosing charm and wrinkles developed
Great show on stage is likedly to be floaped
I feel delighted when hear nice words
There is no fun to think of age and look backward
Any one may go for high jump when fully young
Alas! it is beautiful inning but not going to last long
Who can stop the blowing wind?
Who can clip the bird’s wing?
You may go high in the air
The game is considered to be very fair
It is the test of time that you spread the fragrance
The ability and young age is thing of presence
It may stay as long as you think it is in your reach
The birds may come down to find and search
Where do we find peace and shelter?
Where is our final destginy and cover?
Who will accompany us till the end?
The world has to be made as lovely abode and friend
The sun may shine hard and rain may cause the blow
The vigor and strength may develop cracks and go slow
The speed may slower and ri ver may stop the flow
The eys may loose the sight and face its glow
The wrinkles are sign of wisdom
It truly reflects but speaks seldom
Who knows better what can be spoken off?
World may not realize when to cry and laugh
The river water have calmed down and flow silently
The words too are spoken very nicely and gently
You represent serious figure and act as saintly
The advice too comes easily and instantly
One must, in times to come, must grow old
So many may be following you and come in fold
It is not wrinkles but lines on face
That may speak of marathon race

Corrected To Experience The Value
There is one distinct disadvantage someone has,
When defending to protect denials they've accepted.
It gets exhausting to the one listening continually,
Knowing what to expect before the act itself is done.
With a dipping into a vat of excuses,
To predict what one does to get the same outcome.
You see...
Time and seasons move forward.
Unforgiving who is left behind they leave.
And some people without this understanding,
Never change with a stubbornness to remain the same.
With a holding on they keep like a picture in a dusting frame.
Many learn to admit a mistake when made,
With a quickness to admit this without being assisted.
And others can not admit what they do to others,
As if to play a game!
Until their backs are up against a wall.
With a pulling of teeth from their mouths to fall.
To make little difference if a mistake is admitted at all.
And adults who do this are worse than the kids.
At least with children there is a sense,
Of wanting to be corrected to experience the value of it.

The Human Race (feat. Vern Gosdin)
we've flown to the moon but have we missed the boat along the way?
we reached for the stars but are we that far removed from the cave?
we've got radios and codaphones, computers
we found satellites in space
now everybody's talking
so tell me why we can't communicate
are we losing the human race?
do we ever really learn from our mistakes?
who's ahead, who's behind?
will there be a finish line?
are we losing the human race?
nations are starving while we pay our farmers not to grow their grain
fossil fuel is going up in smoke and coming down in acid rain
the more that we progress it seems
the farther we keep slipping down that drain
its a no-win situation
so tell me why we have to play the game
are we losing the human race?
do we ever really learn from our mistakes?
who's ahead, who's behind?
will there be a finish line?
are we losing the human race?
who's ahead, who's behind?
will there be a finish line?
are we losing the human race?
