morning Call for frien Marvin

The morning sun explosively.
Soars aloft from beneath the sea
as though afraid he might be late.
So full of joy he cannot wait
to tell the world its time to rise
and rub the sleep from out their eyes.
Then stretch their stiffened joints and yawn.
The night has flown so greet the morn
Dependent on their attitude
some men express their gratitude.
While others bitterly complain
because it’s time to work again
Which makes no difference to the sun.
He travels on his duty done.

Another day for M lady Chitra

As morning breaks the East glows red
Sad shadows of the night depart.
Then yawning men rise from their bed.
The time has come today must start.
Some men rejoice but others curse
dependent on their attitude.
The sad ones say that life gets worse
but others show their gratitude.
Raising voices in hymns of praise.
For safety granted through the night
How blessed are the men who pray
and greet the morning with delight.
and cursed be those who cannot see
beyond their self wrought misery.

Needs Must

When the skylarks rise up singing.
Their morning hymn to greet the day
Praise songs set the welkin ringing.
Because they know no other way
To show their heart felt gratitude.
A very different attitude
from men who rise reluctantly
And curse their waking bitterly.
The see no reason they should sing
They are convinced the day will bring.
Back breaking work to earn their bread.
When they would rather stay in bed.

Stretch Out And Wait

On the high-rise estate
What's at the back of your mind ?
Oh, a three-day debate
On a high-rise estate
What's at the back of your mind ?
Two icy-cold hands conducting the way
It's the eskimo blood in my veins
Amid concrete and clay
And general decay
Nature must still find a way
So ignore all the codes of the day
Let your juvenile influences sway
This way and that way (this way)
This way and that way (this way)
God, how sex implores you
To let yourself lose yourself
Stretch out and wait
Stretch out and wait
Oh ... let your puny body, lie down, lie down
As we lie, you say
As we lie, you say
Stretch out and ...
Stretch out and wait
Stretch out and wait
Oh ... let your puny body lie down, lie down
As we lie, you say :
Will the world end in the night time ?
(i really don't know)
Or will the world end in the day time ?
(i really don't know)
And is there any point ever having children ?
Oh, i don't know
What i do know is we're here and it's now
So ... stretch out and wait
Stretch out and wait
There is no debate, no debate, no debate
How can you conciously contemplate
When there's no debate, no debate ?
Stretch out and wait
Stretch out and wait
Stretch out and wait
Wait
Wait
Wait
Wait

Sleep won't Come

It's late at night,
It's time to sleep,

But sleep won't come.

I close my eyes,
Put out the light,

But sleep won't come.

I toss and turn,
I stretch and yawn,

But sleep won't come.

Smoke Two Joints

(she was living in a single room with three other individuals.
One of them was a male and the other two, well, the other two were females.
God only know what they were up to in there.
And furthermore susan, I wouldnt be the least bit surprised to learn that all four of them
Habitually smoke marijuana cigarettes... reefers)
I smoke two joints in the morning.
I smoke two joints at night.
I smoke two joints in the afternoon, it makes me feel alright
I smoke two joints in time of peace, and two in time of war
I smoke two joints before I smoke two joints,
And then I smoke two more
Smoked cigarettes til the day she died
Toke a big spliff of some good sensimillia
Smoked cigarettes til the day she died
Toke a big spliff of some good sensamill...
Easy-e were ya ever caught slippin? hell no!
Daddy he once told me son you be hard workin man
And momma she once told me son you do the best you can
But, then one day I met a man who came to me and said
Hard work good, and hard work fine but first take care of head
(guitar solo)
Whoa, rock me tonight,
Whoa-oh, jah sake,
Whoa-ohh

In Bed

I am bed ridden and admitted in hospital
I get disheartened on doctor’s arrival
May thoughts cross over in mind?
Doctors come treat me and be very kind

I am totally afraid of death
I know how people offer wreath
Hey will be sobbing and remain in tears
I go berserk and loose heart to bear

I know no harm will be done
All illness may disappear and certainly gone’
I shall be back home with full cheers
I shall smile again without any tears

It is time to express our gratitude
And this should be general attitude
No need to express grief, sorrow
He has done all well for tomorrow

The illness can’t be contributed to anything
That can take place with anybody for something
It is body and may fell apart any time
Don’t think negative about it anytime

Keep only one faith
That may avoid the death
Rest everything is decided and in time
We may miss and curse it sometimes

Natural miracles

I have never looked around for natural miracles
They are day and night in orbit or circles
Then rise and set without fail
I did not notice so far and miserably failed

How can and in which way I adore sun?
The sky is lit by him without stoppage of any run
Time and again I failed to bow my head
Never had I seen generosity on its part and failed to read

My existence is very much dependent
Still I failed to act as an obedient
How easily I forgot all warm days?
When sun had for many days failed on its way

I enjoyed greenery on earth
Yet failed to see joy beneath
After how much long wait, the shower had pleased
But where had I time to look at when not chased?

I had the life full of glooms
There was no direction and darkness in rooms
Where had I time to look for those shines outside?
When it was given to me hopefully to reside

If I was offered hurdles
There was chance to remove obstacles
Only I had to act and wait for his blessings
Otherwise where was chance anything to go missing?

In Pensive Mood

The dawn breaks grey and desolate.
No song birds sing to greet the day
I view the world disconsolate
It seems that night is here to stay.
But later on the sun will rise,
the morning mists evaporate
and change the world before my eyes.
I only have to watch and wait
As from the east the light will spread.
The sun will rise triumphantly
to take his station overhead.
A sight I welcome heartily.

A blackbird sings. His orison
informs the world that night is gone.

It Is Against Law

a cat stretches her back
this is a yawning
a cat is quite courteous
a cat greets by yawning
instead of shouting and babbling

I like a cat
I admire a cat
next time I see my lady friend
I shall greet her with utmost courtesy
I shall stretch my back and yawn
right in front of her

two dogs introduce themselves
by sniffing each other's behind
usually by a fire hydrant

is that a courtesy?
next time I see my lady friend
in front of a fire station
I shall greet her with utmost courtesy
I shall.......
it is against law

just yawn
like a polite cat

Suspicious

I looked for you
but you were late.
You know my impatience.
I hate to wait.
I started to think
about when we met
You never were late
and I could set
my watch by you.
But now my love
it seems all I do
is wait and wait.

I saw your approach
with guilt on your face.
You know my suspicion
I can't erase.
' I'm sorry I'm late.'
You started to explain.
' I lost track of time.'
I didn't complain.
I checked my watch,
the time, the date
and knew I would never again
wait and wait.

I Need My Beauty Sleep

Some days seem short, some days seem long,
Some days don't want to end...
Then we feel weak instead of strong,
No longer to pretend.
A sudden yawn, a droopy head,
Then heavy eyelids prove
It's time for us to go to bed,
While we've got strength to move!

So up the stairs we plod once more,
A second yawn to share,
Perhaps to kneel upon the floor
To offer God a prayer...
Then all at once, the lights go out
And forty winks begin
Beneath the blankets all about,
Wrapped tight to keep us in...

I need my beauty sleep, don't you?
I can't stay up all night!
I know when sleep is overdue,
So why put up a fight?
My muscles, what there are of them,
Just melt like morning snow...
As I slip into peaceful REM...
On memory foam, I go...

Attitude Dancing

(carly simon/jacob brackman)
Theres a new kind of dancing
Thats gonna be the rage
You just leave yourself behind
Like an actor on a stage
Cop a different pose
>from the pose youre in
Shine a different attitude
>from underneath your skin
Attitude dancing
Strut around the floor in a different attitide
Attitude dancing
Any attitude is the proper attitude
Attitude dancing
Dont be afraid to change your attitude
Attitude dancing
Free up your spirit with a new attitude
It dont even matter
If you stretch or shake
And it dont really matter
What moves your body makes
And it dont really matter
What steps you choose to do
Only one thing matters:
Thats your attitude
Your attitude, attitude dancing
Attitude dancing
Strut around the floor in a different attitide
Attitude dancing
Learn to move in another attitude
Attitude dancing
Find the groove in a new attitude
Attitude dancing
Dont be afraid of a new attitude
It dont really matter
What steps you choose to do
Only one thing matters:
Is your attitude
Your attitude, attitude dancing
Strut around the floor in a new attitude
Do the locomotion in a new attitude
Do the mashed potato in a new attitude
Do the hully gully in a new attitude
Find a role you like
Capture it and freeze
Then turn it around
A hundred and eighty degrees
Or if youre at a loss
Observe some natural dude
And turn into a mirror of his attitude
Attitude, attitude, attitude
Dancing

Morning Star

Little star you’re the last one
we see in the skies
as the morning starts to rise.
The last one to go to fall asleep
as the sun begins to wake.

Morning star as everything yawns a sleepy head
you smile before going off to your bed.
You are not the wishing star
whom everyone wishes upon
hoping their wishes will come true.

Morning star you’re the last one to go to sleep,
but the first one to greet us
as we wake in the morn
when a brand new day is born.
You’re the star we forget about,
but the first one we see each day.
You are always there
to greet us as we get out of bed.

A nice to hold

It is always nice to hold somebody with high regard
It is sign of looking positive and straight forward
It may ultimately pay you in the long run
Certain people laugh it out and take as fun

It is best way and very good principle if we adopt
It makes people to act nicely and be little prompt
It is necessary to make more friends than foes
Otherwise life can be full of miseries and woes

I was overwhelmed by a good gesture from a friend
I thought of world coming to the near end
Why was it so that there can be tremendous change?
Was there any sea change in my attitude or age?

“Why do you hold me in high esteem and praise?
Make me to feel great with status highly raised
I am overwhelmed by your noble gesture
As you always wished me for bright future” I parried at friend

I was no where near respectable mark or level
You encouraged me to work hard and excel
Filled with high spirit, motivation and enthusiasm
I am Inspired to rise beyond certain level and “ism” friend replied

I was confined to zero energy and confined
You infused me with optimism and refined
How to express my gratitude and acknowledge?
I am novice and have no such knowledge

Will you pardon me for being so negative?
Lukewarm to response and not so sensitive
I must learn quite a lot from you and oblige
I feel shy to open up but have nothing to hide.. I was overwhelmed

Is it not the tendency of human being to deceive?
No return of thanks when applauses received
We might have scaled new height and glory
Still we may forget the past as simple story

If we learn to repay good gesture with gratitude
People will learn to respect with different attitude
This is what is expected from new generation
They should rise above all without any expectation

It may look as simple form of advice
It should not be considered as mechanical device
Time may change but not the essence and spirit
You may all the time need oil for lamps to lit

We shall not last to see it either
Storm may come and soon to wither
Life has to stabilize and prove its best
it must stand firm to the rigid test

I find no other reason to withdraw or not to follow
Very sensible person must adhere to and allow
It may pave the way for cordial relation
It is the time for motivation and elation

To The P.R.B.

Woolner and Stephens, Collinson, Millais,
And my first brother, each and every one,
What portion is theirs now beneath the sun
Which, even as here, in England makes to-day?
For most of them life runs not the same way
Always, but leaves the thought at loss: I know
Merely that Woolner keeps not even the show
Of work, nor is enough awake for play.
Meanwhile Hunt and myself race at full speed
Along the Louvre, and yawn from school to school,
Wishing worn-out those masters known as old.
And no man asks of Browning; though indeed
(As the book travels with me) any fool
Who would might hear Sordello's story told.

One is the loneliest number

In the distance, by the lake's edge,
beneath the day's twilight, the water
echoes a calm feeling.
The cob and his pen float in rhythm,
unattached from the world,
as their plumes stay dry.

As I watch the vivid creatures waltz
with beauty and grace, my thoughts
recall a room full of lilies,
and the drama of a wedding dress.

In the morning, they rise into the silent air,
my inflamed heart, not able to test
their flight, soars to a distant time and place,
once more, pondering whether
this will be the last migration.

Time will tell it all

In you lies my confidence,
your presence- so strong to hold my strength,
I wish you close to me forever by my side.
I know words alone can not trury express how I feel but
I know time will tell it all.

In the morning I wake up.......,
Then I realise I'm in love- how sweet is my imagination,
My love I imagine putting my lips on yours,
Your bossoms so soft to touch;
I know these are words but I know time will tell it all,

I've come to realise the love I have for you so strong.
Away from you blows the coldest wind that makes me
know how lonely Iam-but I know time will tell it all.

In the night with the sky full of stars;
I see angels flying,
But one thing makes me happy-I see an angel lying next to me.
It is the angel of mine that I see,
I know these are wolds- they cannot express my love for you,
but I know time will tell it all.

Time To Wonder

Weve got time to wait
And we wait still its too late
We always move in seconds in a world of hours and days
Weve got bones and blood
Is this all what weve got
I thought there was a brain
But maybe I just thought in vain
This is not the time to wonder
And this is not the time to cry
This is not the time to sleep while we fight
And this is not the time to die
Reality and dreams
Reality is not what it seems
Its not the way we want it
Its just the way it gotta be
Weve got love and hate
But we cant estimate
Whats the right solution to kill the illusion of this world
This is not the time to wonder
And this is not the time to cry
This is not the time to sleep while we fight
And this is not the time to die
And this is not the time to wonder
This is just a time to fear
Dont worry about the meaning
Dont worry bout the world
Its the question how to see it clear

A Long Time Ago

Seems like such a long time ago,
I was walking on a lonely road.
Getting tired of dreaming alone,
like all the lonely people I had known.
Seems like such a long time ago,
there was no one who would share my song.
I was just a boy far from home,
but I became a man when you came along.
We spent the whole night talking.
You said you'd like to see the sun rise.
But in the gold of morning,
was nothing that I had not seen in your eyes.
I was so afraid to touch you,
thought you were too young, you know.
So I just watched you sleeping.
Then you woke and said to me,
The night is cold, it frightens me.
I could sleep so easy next to you.
Wasn't very long ago,
you said that you would like to share my role.
Then you started singing my song.
Spent so many nights a-waiting,
Lets not spend a moments wasting time,
because we have very far to go.
I will go if you will take me,
I have never had a lover.
I am young but I am so alone.
We spent the whole night talking.
But in the gold of morning....
