Blind Trust for M'lady Lynda
I searched for love a life long quest
but always love eluded me.
Although I tried I failed the test
no woman ever looked to see.
Beneath my rough exterior
that I was faithful true and kind.
They saw me as inferior
and not the man they had in mind.
The ideal man they hoped to wed.
They shuddered at the sight of me
regarded me with fear and dread.
I had no doubt I was ugly.
Though tall and strong my face was marred.
A port wine stain disfigures me.
Although I found it very hard
I was quite sure that there must be.
Some woman somewhere who would dare
disregard my ugliness
A woman brave enough to bear
my company without duress.
I met a maiden in distress.
Though she had eyes she could not see.
I treated her with gentleness
she blindly placed her trust in me.
Her guide dog had deserted her.
She was afraid lost and alone
the area unfamiliar.
She could not manage on her own
My ugliness she could not see
and judged me without prejudice.
She trusted me instinctively.
To me a gift beyond all price.
We walked and talked like two old friends
despite the fact we had just met.
How odd it is that fate depends
on factors chosen randomly.
She could not see my ugliness
but I could see she needed me
to rescue her from her distress
and thus it was eventually.
My lady fell in love with me
I dared propose and she said yes.
The blemish which she could not see
no barrier to happiness.
She sometimes tells me teasingly
that I’m a very handsome man
. Though with her eyes she cannot see
she swears that with her heart she can.

Introducing... Me!
I am the woman who was the girl who thought she was alone.
The same girl that pretended to be the life of our group to stay on top.
The girl who was everyone's friend even though I did not like myself very much.
I was the girl who thought that love only came in one form.
So I used it to my advantage and ended up scorned.
I was the girl that found herself in trouble too deep to be fished out.
I was the girl who grew up too fast with no way out.
I had to grow, so that I might learn to be the mother I needed to be.
I was the girl who was a child-mother with only my own mother there for me.
The girl who was afraid to pout who had to be always brave.

Now back when I was 28,
I met and loved a 38 –
DD!
Hmm…I never really saw her eyes…
Perhaps I never needed to –
‘Twas all about her size.
Come on, be honest,
You really show surprise?
Oh yes, the storyline:
One sunny day she said to me,
‘I need to make you happy, see,
By undergoing surgery
So you can have my guarantee
That when you see my 40G,
You’ll hit new heights of ecstasy! ’
‘Phew! ’ I drew a breath.
‘Well thank you dear, you’re very kind,
But won’t you risk me going blind?
If one of those should catch my eye,
I’m sure to wave them both goodbye;
And after all, you’re rather tall –
With extra weight you’ll likely fall;
Forwards, I should clarify.
Hmm…we’re back again to my poor eye.’
‘It’s all about your precious sight! ’
She screamed at me with all her might,
‘I only want to make you proud
And me to stand out in the crowd.’
‘You do already stand right out!
Any more, then there’s no doubt
You might as well just poke me blind,
So in the streets I’ll tag behind,

Three blood gushed out before I was beamed by
Sunlight and you were not in a right time to deliver

The Eyes Of A Woman
Have you ever looked into the eyes of a woman
You can tell a lot about a woman, just from her eyes
No eyes could ever subdue the artistry of a woman's
As they say, the beauty of a woman lies in her eyes
And indeed they do, just look at those gorgeous eyes
Look at those olive green eyes, full of ecstasy and desire
I've never seen such angelic eyes in my life
Which is what led me to this paper and pen
As from the first time my eyes met them
I could not simply get them out of my head
I could not help but notice Oh, those dazzling green eyes
I am left speechless, as I remember that sight of grace
You indeed can tell a lot about a woman just from her eyes
Green is the colour of nature, and all the beauty it withholds
Symbolizing growth, harmony, freshness and fertility
Green has strong emotional correspondence with safety
It withholds great healing power, looking at them, I noticed
Being the most restful colour for the human eye, I realised
Green suggests Stability and endurance, indicates growth and hope
Olive green is the traditional colour of peace
Just from looking at your enticing green eyes, I noticed
The kind of woman that you are, how special you indeed are

An Evolution That Has Erased The Yesterdays
Too much ugliness exists.
And too much of it is persisted.
Clear choices today are being readily defined.
Making up one's mind as to which road to take,
Is for many not a decision to contemplate.
It may be difficult for some to switch up...
From steps taken to reverse what has been done.
But it can be done...
If a wish for happiness is to come!
Too much ugliness exists.
And too much of it is persisted.
There are those confused,
By the suddenness of change.
But it's not as if it had been hidden.
Not for those who have witnessed,
A quality of life that is not the same.
Closed eyes are different from those that are blind.
Some choose not to see what is.
Others who can not see period...
Have survived with sharpened minds.
And are quick to sense...
The atmosphere has been stimulated,
By the addition of increased decadence.
Too much ugliness exists.
And too much of it is persisted.
A higher consciousness has arrived,
And it struggles with accepted commonness.
But this slide that delights some,
Comes to an end to unravel comforts under the Sun.
To achieve a peace slowly becoming noticed.
And those overdosed with delusions that limit...
Will find themselves anguished,
By an evolution that has erased the yesterdays.
Leaving them revolving in memories dissolving.
And not a sign ahead that shows,
Those times will be revisited.

I'm no longer looking for the woman of my dreams,
But I am waiting patiently for a woman,

Our Future Generation
Life picked up its ugly head, and all you see
Is the scars from wars, murders, suicides
Torture, hurt and pain.
Life is not a bed of roses in which we could lay.
It is painful in every way.
We see and hear of the ugliness 24/7
But we do not live it 24/7.
I know it will not disappear in our lifetime.
But I like to think that with GOD, love, faith, and education
We have a chance for some type of
Peace for the future generation.
The LORD does give us a reprieve from the ugliness
To enjoy all his beauties.
So this is to our:
FUTURE GENERATIONS.
Enjoy the beauties of the day
For you don’t know what may come your way.
Take your time to smell the flowers
And inhale those aromatic powers
look at the trees in the ground
and enjoy the soft gentle breeze that goes around.
Take a child for a walk- sit on a park bench and just talk.
Walk in the sand on the beaches
Explain about the oceans and all it teaches.
Show them the beauties in the sky
Let them ask questions as to how and why.
Let them see our majestic mountains
Hidden caves, rivers, streams, and fountains.
Show them the animals and birds of our lands
Explain to them, so they’ll understand.
It is true! That there is ugliness all around
But there are also beauties to be found.
The beauties of life being created
What a wonderful, fantastic, spiritual inspiration,
What about the moon and stars up in the skies
Lighting up the darkness for you and I.
It matters not of your gender
But to love you must surrender.
Love is the key to peace in every land
So we must learn to take a stand.
If we show that only
ugliness will survive
then love will surely die.
So to the future generations
This I must say: ugliness is here to stay.

Thru My Eyes
Thru My Eyes I see a woman
A woman whom cannot see her own self
Images disguised by her childhood upbringing
And does not believe that she can find help
Thru My Eyes I see another woman
A woman whom I love and then have lost
Trying times of despair and resentment
Simple pleasures as holding her I miss the most
Thru My Eyes I see a woman
A woman with beautiful brown eyes
Though she continues to misunderstand me
Once again a deep breathe asking myself why
Thru My Eyes I see another woman
Who accepted me but I never gave in return
Tainting once viewed as our loving memories
Impulsive decisions forever wounding her
Thru My Eyes I see a beautiful woman
A woman with elegance that I cannot deny
Awaiting the day she discovers my love for her
A love that can only be seen Thru My Eyes
