A Dream
Today, I woke up smiling,
The dream I recall not darling,
But if it was not about you,
I wouldn't wake up with this hue
Only unless I took you by the hand,
To lands beyond those dunes of sand,
For one or two a tango,
Under a tree of mango,
I doubt I'd be smiling like this,
And unless you gave me a kiss
Where the Sun outlines my face,
I wouldn't be in this happy place,
Did you tell me tales of forever,
Instilling in me a fever
Of beautiful things to come
In your heart that I call home?
I know you're the source of this joy,
Therefore this day I will enjoy.

The world around me is beautiful
the bejewelled swimming pool, the
emerald grass, soft breeze, lying
in the sun - dreaming
Waking with a smile, floating on the
dream, preparing lunch, listening to
Chopin - Les Sylphydes - happy
to cry with the melody
Looking at what I wrote yesterday
I smile, if I cannot express beauty
adequately, at least I can keep
the memory alive
Waltzing in the kitchen all by myself,
heaving like a ship in stormy seas
moving in circles, satisfied that
the feeling of delight
Is still there, my imagination set free
still makes me feel like a dancer
expressive on nimble feet - I'm

On this coldest of January nights
We drive out past the runway and watch the planes go flying by
The runway lights are the deepest blue like the colors of your eyes

I dreamed about beautiful love and association
That was mushrooming along with smooth relation
She was dreaming the same way as I was
We were smiling at each other without making a pause
'Not bad idea at all' she responded
As she thought we have to think of later how to be depended
If we have little kind in home
How will it look like when we welcome?
'Only from you' as love's symbol
She was making very sweet and magnetic call
I was dreaming too to fall in her line
She was making all that beautiful with smile
Since many days we were meeting in silence
It was magnificent attachment with love parlance
I wanted to have her reflection in child
Brilliant, intelligent, beautiful and kind
It was never thought this before
I just search only beauty and adored
Look at her face and saw cuts and features
It was so much for me to look at and be sure
We are under tree and enjoying happy moments
Many a times it has been felt as divine movement
She may hold hand and reassure me of coming days
Death can't be that cruel to take me away
Child is the only link that binds us together
