Expression

Call-call--and bruise the air :
Shatter dumb space!
Yea! We will ding this passion everywhere ;
Leaving no place

For the superb and grave
Magnificent throng,
The pregnant queens of quietness that brave
And edge our song

Of wonder at the light
(Our life-leased home),
Of greeting to our housemates.
And in might Our song shall roam

Life's heart, a blossoming fire
Blown bright by thought,
While gleams and fades the infinite desire,
Phantasmed naught.

Can this be caught and caged?
Wings can be clipt
Of eagles, the sun's gaudy measure gauged,
But no sense dipt

In the mystery of sense : The troubled throng
Of words break out like smothered fire through
Dense
And smouldering, wrong.

To Molde

Molde, Molde,
True as a song,
Billowy rhythms whose thoughts fill with love me,
Follow thy form in bright colors above me,
Bear thy beauty along.
Naught is so black as thy fjord, when storm-lashes
Sea-salted scourge it and inward it dashes,
Naught is so mild as thy strand, as thine islands,
Ah, as thine islands!
Naught is so strong as thy mountain-linked ring,
Naught is so sweet as thy summer-nights bring.
Molde, Molde,
True as a song,
Murm'ring memories throng.

Molde, Molde,
Flower-o'ergrown,
Houses and gardens where good friends wander!
Hundreds of miles away,-but I'm yonder
'Mid the roses full-blown.
Strong shines the sun on that mountain-rimmed beauty,
Fast is the fight, let each man do his duty.
Friends, who your favor would never begrudge me,
Gently now judge me!-
Only with life ends the fight for the right.
Thought flees to you for a refuge in light.
Molde, Molde,
Flower-o'ergrown,
Childhood's memories' throne.

Oh, may at last
In thine embrace, life's fleeting
Conflict past,
Glad thine evening-glory greeting,
-Where life let thought awaken,-
My thought by death be taken!

11 Oclock Tick Tock

Its cold outside
It gets so hot in here
And the boys and girls collide
To the music in my ear
Hear the children crying
And I know its time to go
I hear the children crying
Take me home
A painted face
And I know we havent long
We thought that we had the answers
It was the questions we had wrong
Hear the children crying
And I know its time to go
I hear the children crying
Take me home
Sad song, sad song
Sad song, sad song
La lah la lah...la lah la lah...la lah lah...
[repeat 4x]
Sad song, sad song
Sad song, sad song
Call out your name
Call out in shame
Call out your name
Call out
You better call out
Call, call, call out

As Good as New

OH, this is a song of the old lights, that came to my heart like a hymn;
And this is a song for the old lights—the lights that we thought grew dim,
That came to my heart to comfort me, and I pass it along to you;
And here is a hand to the good old friend who turns up as good as new.
And this is a song for the camp-fire out west where the stars shine bright—
Oh, this is a song for the camp-fire where the old mates yarn to-night;
Where the old mates yarn of the old days, and their numbers are all too few,
And this is a song for the good old times that will turn up as good as new.

Oh, this is a song for the old foe—we have both grown wiser now,
And this is a song for the old foe, and we’re sorry we had that row;
And this is a song for the old love—the love that we thought untrue—
Oh, this is a song of the dear old love that comes back as good as new.

Oh, this is a song for the black sheep, for the black sheep that fled from town,
And this is a song for the brave heart, for the brave heart that lived it down;
And this is a song for the battler, for the battler who sees it through—
And this is a song for the broken heart that turns up as good as new.

Ah, this is a song for the brave mate, be he Bushman, Scot, or Russ,
A song for the mates we will stick to—for the mates who have stuck to us;
And this is a song for the old creed, to do as a man should do,
Till the Lord takes us all to a wider world—where we’ll turn up as good as new.

The Death-Day Of Korner

A song for the death-day of the brave
A song of pride!
The youth went down to a hero's grave,
With the sword, his bride.

He went, with his noble heart unworn,
And pure, and high;
An eagle stooping from clouds of morn,
Only to die!

He went with the lyre, whose lofty tone
Beneath his hand
Had thrill'd to the name of his God alone,
And his Father-land.

And with all his glorious feelings yet
In their first glow,
Like a southern stream that no frost hath met
To chain its flow.

A song for the death-day of the brave
A song of pride!
For him that went to a hero's grave,
With the sword, his bride.

He hath left a voice in his trumpet-lays
To turn the flight,
And a guiding spirit for after days,
Like a watch-fire's light.

And a grief in his father's soul to rest,
Midst all high thought;
And a memory unto his mother's breast,
With healing fraught.

And a name and fame above the blight
Of earthly breath,
Beautiful beautiful and bright,
In life and death!

A song for the death-day of the brave
A song of pride!
For him that went to a hero's grave,
With the sword, his bride!

If I Had Any Sense Left At All (feat. Phil Collins)

I can feel the darkness reaching in
As I touch the place you may as well have never been
Love can hurt much more than one can bear
When a heart beats for someone who's not there
CHORUS
How many times
Must I tell myself that you're gone
When will the rest of me wake up
And see what went wrong
So wrong
And turn on the light, pick up the phone
And just call
And lay pride aside
If I had any sense at all
Voices call that only I can hear
Who would have thought this love was something I would fear
Almost hold, almost smell, almost taste
On my mind, in my heart, on my face
CHORUS
How many times
Must I tell myself that you're gone
When will the rest of me wake up
And see what went wrong
So wrong
And turn on the light, pick up the phone
And just call
And lay pride aside
If I had any sense at all
Oh, just lay pride aside
If I had any sense left at all

Passion of Fire

My heart was started by a spark,
burst into flames.
Now I am like a lamp on a hill,
everyone sees me and my passion.
I'm on fire, I'm burning bright.

You made the spark,
kindled the flame,
gave this fire the passion of the night.
Its burning bright, through the night,
its never going out or dimming.

Its the passion of the fire,
its the passion of life.
The life you gave,
was meant to amaze.
Now with you in me,
I illuminate the darkness.

I'm on fire,
running with the flame, the passion
touching people,
letting them catch the fire, catch your Love.
It never fades away,
this passion deep in me,
it'll burn till the end of day.

Its Getting Better, Man

Shout it from the rooftops that youre here
Even if it means nothing
Make us realize all that were here
Do it in a wise teaching
Wishing on a wave that soon appears
Something about a life teaches
You to build a castle in the sun
Maybe the songs I sing are wrong
Maybe the dreams I dream are gone
Bring it on home and it wont be long
Its getting better, man
And what was that you said to me?
Just say the word and Ill be free
And while the stars are shining bright
Its getting better, man
And crashing in upon a wave
Its coming up beyond the grave
Ill light a fire in the sky
Its getting better, man
Build something
Build a better place and call it home
Even if it means nothing
Youll never ever feel that youre alone
Maybe the songs I sing are wrong
Maybe the dreams I dream are gone
Bring it on home and it wont be long
Its getting better, man
And what was that you said to me?
Just say the word and Ill be free
And while the stars are shining bright
Its getting better, man
And crashing in upon a wave
Its coming up beyond the grave
Ill light a fire in the sky
Its getting better, man
Its getting better, man

Ding! Ding! Ping! Ping!

together now
let us sing
the song of inanity
the song of no meaning
it is the song of the no-light
the song of the ludicrous
the ludicrous become meaning
meaning become ludicrous
This become that
That become this
ding! ding! ding! ding!
ping! ping! ping! ping!
everything has penetrated its opposite
and the world become beastly
no beginning, no end
no origins
let us sing now
the world topsy-turvy
the brain in a soup,
the mind's one word: baa-baa-baa
you sing one line
the other another
and then all together
the song of bad breath and yawns
ding! ding! ding! ding!
ping! ping! ping! ping!
we see King Lear walking
naked in the plains
and we have the Imposter
with his heavy butt on the Throne
which is a Toilet with automated cistern
let us sing then
not then, but now
together now
let us sing
the song of inanity
the song of no meaning
it is the song of the no-light
the song of the ludicrous
the ludicrous become meaning
ding! ding! ding! ding!
ping! ping! ping! ping!

Call Me

(steve benson)
Producer for bonnie: steve benson
Love will always find the way
Feelings are the hardest words to say
Oh call me, call me
Baby, always call your name
I would never feel this way again
Oh call me, call me
There is love enough, enough for two
There will never he another you
How can you mend a broken heart
Oh he said goodbye without a tear
Through a million souls, a million fears
Thats no way to say goodbye
*call me, call me
Tell me what you feel
My love never dies
(my love never dies)
Call me, call me
Tell me what you feel
You light up my life
(you light up my life)
Love dont ever die
Ill he there if you want me
Im living with my memories
Oh call me, call me
From the bottom of your heart
You swore wed never break apart
Oh call me, call me
Oh hold on tight and dont let go
If you love me let me know
I never had a love like ours
Call me, call me
Tell me what you feel
My love never dies
(my love never dies)
Call me, call me
Tell me what you feel
You light up my life
Oh Im never gonna give you up
Why did you break my lonely heart
My world begins and ends with you
If theres one thing that I know
Babe, Ill never let you go
If I sold my heart to you
Call me, call me
Tell me what you feel
My love never dies
Call me, call me
Tell me what you feel
You light up my life
(you light up my life)
(* repeat)
Call me, call me
Tell me what you feel
My love never dies

Call Me Home By: Taylor Donnelly

Call Me Home
By: Taylor Donnelly

Please call me home
even when my thoughts begin the roam
because its you and me
everything and more do you see
that valley with the trees
the birds and the bees

oh please just call me home
my thoughts are like your dark locks pulled thought a comb
the tangles stretched till they break
pulled as tight as it can take
I'm pray'en that the rain will never come
you may think that its dumb
but it will wash away everything that we've done

The sun will take a nap under its water blanket oh that sun
and then her mascara once again will run
so please call me home
especially when my thoughts begin to roam
let the music ring out till it finds my ears
and I'll hold you tight help each other forget our childish fears
can you please make me cold enough to bare the brunt of this
can you please warm me up with another warm kiss
these is little i don't want from you so
please call me home
please call me home
call me home

Lighted

Great books call on us, to tell,
The reason of all ill fate,
Is only the burning desire.
Now I strongly ask,
Who does not have?
With time I answered it.
From common man,
To the Lord above,
All are lighted with fire,
The fire of desire.
If not, why is the earth?
And why is life in it?
Is it this fire, that,
Moves the earth and life?
Yes, so burn with fire,
The fire of desire.

Altiora Peto

O for a vision of the perfect light
To shame the splendour of the morning star!
O for a breath from out the Infinite
Where the great heart of Being throbs afar!
O for that sound, too fine for mortal ears,
The music of the silence of the spheres!
The Masters fathomed not that song sublime,
Tho’ oft on straining ear and brain o’erwrought,
And heart grown faint at heights too sheer to climb,
The roll of some immortal wave of thought
Swept by and left, adown its troubled verge,
The lingering echoes of its mighty surge.

To each there came the passion and the fire,
The breadth of vision and the sudden light,
And for a moment on an earthly lyre
Quivered a tremor of the Infinite;
Yet to each poet of that deep-browed throng
’Twas but the shadow of Immortal Song.

’Twas but the presage of th’ Omniscient Soul
That moves and throbs thro’ all this wondrous plan,
Unseen, unheard, unknown: that is the Whole,
Yet stirs in atoms and the heart of Man;
That thro’ all phase of change, and form, and name
Remains and works eternally the same.

That seems to whisper us:—“All life is one,
Reborn in death it blossoms from decay,
The same when first the fury of the sun
Belched forth his satellites of fiery spray,
The same when he and all his planet train
Shall plough the Ether, cold—to glow again!

“Whither, O whither? Still th’ eternal cry,
That from the ages rolled and yet shall roll!
Who shall declare to man his destiny—
A unit in the Cosmos of the Soul—
A spirit-germ, storm-tossed in doubt and strife,
That feebly dreams of larger light and life?”

Systems and stars their courses onward sweep,
And creeds and nations flower and fade away.
Still Nature worketh out her purpose deep—
New life, new thought for that of yesterday.
Unto the utmost confines of her range
One law abideth of unchanging change.

Around us dwells the secret no man reads!
About us swells the music none can hear!
Behind us lie the ruins of the creeds!
Before us loom the mystery and the fear!
To Love and Hope our souls are clinging fast,
What giveth these, perchance gives Truth at last!

Edward Lear

The Broom, the Shovel, the Poker and the Tongs

The Broom and the Shovel, the Poker and Tongs,
They all took a drive in the Park,
and they each sang a song, Ding-a-dong, Ding-a-dong,
Before they went back in the dark.
Mr Poker he sate quite upright in the coach,
Mr Tongs made a clatter and clash,
Miss Shovel was dressed all in black (with a brooch),
Mrs Broom was in blue (with a sash).
Ding-a-dong! Ding-a-dong!
And they all sang a song!

'O Shovely so lovely!' the Poker he sang,
'You have perfectly conquered my heart!
Ding-a-dong! Ding-a-dong! If you're pleased with my song,
I will feed you with cold apple tart!
When you scrape up the coals with a delicate sound,
You enrapture my life with delight!
Your nose is so shiny! your head is so round!
And your shape is so slender and bright!
Ding-a-dong! Ding-a-dong!
Ain't you pleased with my song?'

'Alas! Mrs Broom!' sighed the Tongs in his song,
'O is it because I'm so thin,
And my legs are so long - Ding-a-dong! Ding-a-dong!
That you don't care about me a pin?
Ah! fairest of creatures, when sweeping the room,
Ah! why don't you heed my complaint!
Must you needs be so cruel, you beautiful Broom,
Because you are covered with paint!
Ding-a-dong! Ding-a-dong!
You are certainly wrong!'

Mrs Broom and Miss Shovel together they sang,
'What nonsense you're singing today!'
Said the Shovel, 'I'll certainly hit you a bang!'
Said the Broom, 'And I'll sweep you away!'
So the Coachman drove homeward as fast as he could,
Perceiving their anger with pain;
But they put on the kettle, and little by little,
They all became happy again.
Ding-a-dong! Ding-a-dong!
There's an end of my song!

I'm going home.
I'm leaving now.
To the place I call home.

I won't come back.
I'll be at home.
I'll be happy there.
The place I call home.

Where the birds sing.
And the flowers dance.
Where the wind whispers.
In the place I call home.

The children play.
The stars sparkle.
The dogs bark.

Autumn Song

Leaves of brown they fall to the ground
And its here, over there leaves around
Shut the door, dim the lights and relax
What is more, your desire or the facts
Pitter patter the rain falling down
Little glamor sun coming round
Take a walk when autumn comes to town
Little stroll past the house on the hill
Some more coal on the fire will do well
And in a week or two itll be halloween
Set the page and the stage for the scene
Little game the children will play
And as we watch them while time away
Look at me and take my breath away yeah
Youll be smiling eyes beguilding
And the song on the breeze
Will call my name out and your dream
Chestnuts roasting outside as you walk
With your love by your side
The old accordion man plays mellow and bright
And you go home in the crispness of the night
Little later friends will be along
And if you feel like joining the throng
Just might feel like singing autumn song
Just may feel like singing autumn song
Youll be smiling
Eyes beguilding
And the song on the breeze
Calls my name out in your dream
Chestnuts roasting outside
As you walk with your love by your side
And the old accordion plays mellow and bright
And you go home in the crispness of the night

Brave New World

Dying swans twisted wings, beauty not needed here
Lost my love, lost my life, in this garden of fear
I have seen many things, in a lifetime alone
Mother love is no more, bring this savage back home
Wilderness house of pain, makes no sense of it all
Close this mind dull this brain, messiah before his fall
What you see is not real, those who know will not tell
All is lost sold your souls to this brave new world
A brave new world, in a brave new world
A brave new world, in a brave new world
In a brave new world, a brave new world
In a brave new world, a brave new world
Dragon kings dying queens, where is salvation now
Lost my life lost my dreams, rip the bones from my flesh
Silent screams laughing here, dying to tell you the truth
You are planned and you are damned in this brave new world
A brave new world, in a brave new world
A brave new world, in a brave new world
In a brave new world, a brave new world
In a brave new world, a brave new world
A brave new world, in a brave new world

Hearts On Fire

We saw the writings on the wall
When heathens ruled above us all
Tormented, we still heard the call
You come to bring us down
Wield the scepter, steal the crown
Time on the throne is running out
Cause seasons change but we are still the same
Event though the cold winds blow were burning like a flame
Hearts On Fire, Hearts On Fire
Burning, burning with desire
Hearts On Fire, Hearts On Fire
Burning, burning with desire
Hearts On Fire, Hearts On Fire
Burning, burning with desire
Burning for the steel
Hearts On Fire
For years shunned by society
Outcasts, condemned for our beliefs
Our legions grew in secrecy
And now, the time is here
I see the Templars everywhere
The Freedom Call is drawing near
We hold our rebel banners up with pride
The colours crimson and the Hammer is the sign
Hearts On Fire, Hearts On Fire
Burning, burning with desire
Hearts On Fire, Hearts On Fire
Burning, burning with desire
Hearts On Fire, Hearts On Fire
Burning, burning with desire
Burning for the steel

Don't Drink The Water (Edit)

Come out come out
No use in hiding
Come now come now
Can you not see?
There's no place here
What were you expecting
Not room for both
Just room for me
So you will lay your arms down
Yes I will call this home
Away away
You have been banished
Your land is gone
And given me
And here I will spread my wings
Yes I will call this home
What's this you say
You feel a right to remain
Then stay and I will bury you
What's that you say
Your father's spirit still lives in this place
I will silence you
Here's the hitch
Your horse is leaving
Don't miss your boat
It's leaving now
And as you go I will spread my wings
Yes I will call this home
I have no time to justify to you
Fool you're blind, move aside for me
All I can say to you my new neighbor
Is you must move on or I will bury you
Now as I rest my feet by this fire
Those hands once warmed here
I have retired them
I can breathe my own air
I can sleep more soundly
Upon these poor souls
I'll build heaven and call it home
'Cause you're all dead now
I live with my justice
I live with my greedy need
I live with no mercy
I live with my frenzied feeding
I live with my hatred
I live with my jealousy
I live with the notion
That I don't need anyone but me
Don't drink the water
There's blood in the water

Its Getting Better

Say something shout it from the rooftops off your head
Make it sort of mean something make me understand
Or Ill forget
The people here on lifes beaches
They wish upon the waves that hide the sand
Let them know that life theaches you
To build a castle in your hand
Maybe the songs that we sing are wrong
Maybe the dreams that we dream are gone
Bring it on home and it wont be long
Its getting better man!
Hey! what was that you said to me?
Just say the word and Id be free?
And when the stars are shining bright
Were getting better man!
And crashing in upon a wave
Its calling out beyond the grave
And were the fire in the sky
Were getting better man!
Build something, build a better place and call it home
Even if it means nothing youll never ever feel that your alone
Cos maybe the songs that we sing are wrong
Maybe the dreams that we dream are gone
Bring it on home and it wont be long
Its getting better man!
Hey! what was that you said to me?
Just say the word and Id be free?
Yeah as the fire in the sky
Its getting better man!
And crashing in upon a wave
Its calling out beyond the grave
And when the stars are shining bright
Its getting better man!
Its getting better man!
And what was that you said to me?
You told me one day Id be free
And when the fires burning bright
Im getting better man!
And crashing in upon a wave
Its calling out beyond the grave
And when the stars are in the sky
Were getting better man
Were getting better man,
Were getting better man,
Were getting better man,
Were getting better man,
Were getting better man,
Were getting better man,
Were getting better man,
Were getting better man,
Were getting better man,
Were getting better man,
Were getting better man,
Were getting better man,
Were getting better man,
Were getting better man,
Were getting better man,
Were getting better man,
Were getting better man,
Were getting better man,
