Where's hidden that bliss of peace?
Where's hidden that bliss of peace?
Volcanic heart smoldering in silence
As it ruptures in speech to question
Where's hidden that bliss of peace?
Lotus poised aim is trying to up
Closed eyes open the mind only in vain
Where's hidden that bliss of peace?
Volcanic heart smoldering in silence

Lament
Where are those dazzling hills touched by the sun,
Those crags in childhood that I used to climb?
Hidden, hidden under mist is yonder mountain,
Hidden is the heart.
A day of cloud, a lifetime falls between,
Gone are the heather moors and the pure stream,
Gone are the rocky places and the green,
Hidden, hidden under sorrow is yonder mountain,
Hidden, hidden.
O storm and gale of tears, whose blinding screen
Makes weather of grief, snow's drifting curtain
Palls th'immortal heights once seen.
Hidden, hidden is the heart,
Hidden, hidden is the heart.

Defining The Kind Of Silence He Needs
it is like the silence of an empty room
not keeping anything
not holding
not gripping hands
or gnashing teeth
the windows are not closed
or the doors
to keep a hounding silence
it is a silence with still air
you hear me breathing in
and out
of my nostrils
nothing kept like grudges
nothing hidden like
some disappointments
it is the silence that heals
that gathers strength
the silence of your gratitude
the silence that rests
the silence
of the soul in solitude
the silence of peace
one that looks out
to the grandeur yet to come
one that waits patiently
the silence of
glory
godlike
humane, and seeks to understand
the one that drives
confusion away
like a bird
nesting its eggs for days
on a stable branch

Silence and Language
Silence is our original composition and speech
Languages are the dresses we wear;
What we convey and understand remains the same
Despite the various languages we use;
Words are clothed senses in silence;
Once we decipher, understanding dawns,
Silence, peace and bliss pervade us;
What we experience, mean, understand, conceive,
think, utter, listen, perceive, understand, experience
Through languages and communication are in essence the same.
The manifestations of Silence;
Silence is Divine Mood
Lord's Speech;
Communication with our Self is Silence;
Communication with the rest is
Silence wrapped, by language;
We need Silence and Language
Which are supplementary and complementary
In communication and for realization;

Truth Is A Whisper
Truth is a whisper only a choice
Nobody hears above this noise
To the ? ?
Theres always a risk when you try to believe
In this ? ?
I know that theres so much more than me
Yeah
Yeah, youre caught in the rules of the world
Its a just a promise no one ever keeps
Now its changing while you sleep
Theres no one here can see
(you know all I am)
Feel the smoldering
(you know all I am)
Can you teach me to believe in something
Sometimes you choke on the smell just to breathe
I need to question what I need
Living in the silence that beats through the mind
Still you forget what you deny
Yeah
Now youre caught in the rules of the world
Its a just a promise no one ever keeps
And now its changing in your sleep
Theres no one here can see
(you know all I am)
Feel the smoldering
(you know all I am)
Can you teach me to believe in something
Theres a wall to answer to
Do you listen when it speaks
Orders everything for you
And do you find it hard to sleep
Or is it easy on your own
Will you ever find some peace
Before youre gone
(you know all I am)
Feel the smoldering
(you know all I am)
Can you teach me to believe in something

Oh, My Dear Life! (Old Familiar Feelings)
OH Life! , tell me what to obtain:
Is there bliss in material?
Or joy in worldly attachment?
Where to begin my search, OH Life!
Is there dormant peace detachment?
OH! Life, tell me what to obtain?
What wisdom in silence of mouth?
What profound silence passed through time?
Tell me lust or love? flesh or seed?
Power, prowess, mansion and cars?
OH! Life, tell me how to obtain
eternal pure heart and peace of mind
Can one grasp the totality?
Can it all be had in one grab?
or is just you, oh my dear LIFE!
Oh! dear Life, YOU ARE ALL I ask.

Discover ‘SILENCE ‘
I discovered a stunning stillness,
‘SILENCE’ a musical wave,
My thoughts dint appear beautiful than this time,
I felt, I regained my inner dead Emotions,
And now ponder more on …Silence’s Beauty...
Silence is a mystery,
And a magical union,
Silence is of soul and heart,
And mind’s internal peace,
Silence unite love with all creations,
And form attachment with all disclosed hearts.
Silence belongs to everyone,
It is beyond word ‘SILENCE’….
It inculcates an extreme essence to fasten together,
And embody a true peace and love within and around.
Silence is present every moment...
And it alerts you to open yourself towards life.
Silence is present every moment...
Within the stillness of nights and peace of early mornings
Silence is present every moment…
To intimate its appearance in all worldly needs.

If Peace Is Bliss..
If peace is bliss
Bliss is my night
Sleep-loaded
Not sweetened not tainted
Not dreamy not noisy
Not lively not deadly
Not even heavenly not even godly
Beyond words
Sound bliss silent

Lyric 5: staggered assonance
the singing in the living, listening heart
tells love in whispers; and the heart is always
listening; for that heart is always bliss; all
hearts in all ways, blest by ceaseless love;
the blaze of bliss in life is our soul’s singing;
this peace, our life as winging gift that’s blest;
its light brings love, sings peace, and brims the heart.
(An experiment in assonance without rhyme: the assonances are in a staggered sequence through the lines)

After Committing A Sin
After
Committing a sin
I was living
In great trauma
To my heart and mind
My heart told me
To confess my sin
My mind said
Keep it hidden
Once it is out in open
You shall fall
In the eyes of
The people
You will be labeled
A sinner
I was in a dilemma!
I asked my conscience
What to do?
My conscience
Told me to confess it
If I do not
I will remain a sinner
In my own eyes
Shall Lose
Peace and solace
Always live
With guilt
In heart and mind
I decided to do
What my conscience
Advised
Today
My mind and heart
Are full of
Happiness and peace

Silence
When expression fails
Silence speaks
When words create din
Silence is bliss
While wise speaks
I listen and learn
When fools quarrel
I remain silent
To avoid risk
Of breaking peace,
My silence is
Full of wisdom
For the wise
I speak only
When words are
More valuable than silence.

To Learn To Live Alone...
it will take time
like mastering the lyrics of a song
but when it comes
you realize what joy is there
hidden in
such solitude
what bliss is there
in silence
when grief is well understood
when longings dissolve
into scented air
like while cherry blossoms
what perfection lies
in such a completion....

To Know Bliss Like This
Yesterday,
Held for me bliss.
I could not resist it.
The bliss that came to visit.
And today it continues...
Within me to sit!
I can not promise,
What tomorrow for me brings.
I'll just remember bliss,
For what bliss to me is!
Wanting to keep it.
As it made me sing!
Knowing it at all...
Makes me feel blessed,
To have experienced bliss.
Feeling it soar within me to exist!
And to know bliss like this within me lives!

Lend Me Silence
Lend me silence
The noise is drowning me
Making my heart unheard
Making my spirit inaudible
Silence is peace
Silence is joy
Give me silence
Give me peace
Noise is polluting
I long to hear
My breath
And whisper
Lend me silence
Lend me peace
My soul is yearning
For solace

Can Not Be Bought To Purchase
The finding of a peace within,
Comes as a blessing one can not explain.
And...
Becomes a feeling known one wishes not to change.
Anyone wanting to give their peace of mind away...
Either has too much of it.
Or afraid others might find them crazy!
And this is a possibility.
Since a peace felt within...
Is often interpreted as being self centered.
And if it is?
Few with a deserved and earned peace of mind,
Are going to care less how others address it.
Very, very few are going to show this as a concern.
Unless the living in bliss becomes too much to handle.
And as of yet...
No one has been arrested for experiencing too much joy!
To have peace within is a happening,
That can not be bought to purchase.
Nor can the value of it be priced to sell.
One's soul that has been sold on keeping it,
Can find nothing else that qualifies...
A reason why the ridding of it would be a thought.

The Secret of Time and its Passage
Memory defeats passage of time
Hurts and pains enliven passed times and events
In the form of aches, and rarely are enlivened pleasant experiences had;
Anxiety, fear, apprehension constitute the future;
Past and future are thought forms
In the present continuous,
Arising out of earlier experiences,
And doubts and imaginations about the imminent,
Are mere mental projections
In the present;
The present continuously changes
Every one tenth of a second
As a pulse series of awareness
Replacing past dissolving into future;
Events took place and the ones we imagine may happen
Respectively create memory,
And doubts, fears and expectations;
Thus the egoistic mind drawing us into the past or future
And seldom allowing us to live in the present
And enjoy current bliss, peace and silence
Creating whirlpool of time and its passage
Never lets us transcend the notion of time
And its passage;
But the reality is,
Present continuous being
One-tenth of a second,
The past over and the future yet to dawn;
Realization of this secret of
Passage of time, past, present and future
As mere thought forms in the present,
Sets in us peace, bliss and quietude
And we face life cheerfully
Transcending mental suggestions
And enjoy the present in calmness,
Peace, bliss, silence, in unoccupied awareness
As contented and content-free state of mind

The Call
I've heard that call-
inaudible sometimes-
that siren call
to go and do
what
I know I shouldn't do;
knowing that if I do
it cannot after
be undone;
this is familiar to me like a brother
close to me like a sister;
I know its outlines;
its face is clear
and yet
I receive it
on a level
below consciousness;
its cloying cleaves
and leaves me helpless
without thought.
I am there
doing again
what I'd promised
I'd never do
again-
weak in the knees;
If light smashed through my hidden door
it would find me once again inside
in the dark feeding ashamedly
at the forbidden trough
greed is there too
not just helplessness;
it is hunger for a food
which does not nourish;
for escape
to an escape-less island;
to phony Hope
and Pride
that I know
that I know
will next day
come crashing down.
Only please-
if you think of me
pray not only I can
and will resist;
pray that my ears close
and I hear
no call
at all;
bring me just once
oblivious bliss
which is the peace I crave;
the peace without struggle,
where inside
my soul will
uncover its hidden face;
and for the first time
touch toe to water
and comes for the first time
to exist.
