When The First Bell Is Tolled..
When the first bell is tolled
Decreed first is 'light be there'
All well held in dawn's hold
And birds hunt their day's fare
When the second bell is tolled
Luster lamp of sunny crystals flare
Buzzing around 'Golden Shower' wings enfold
Eclat enlightened in that floral glare
Ere the first bell is tolled
Enforces me my mind ready be there
To party birds' honey manifold
Up the golden glory, 'Sarakondrai's solitaire

When The First Ray Lights The Sky
When the first ray lights the sky
I doubt whether you do it golden
And when the dusk passing adown
I doubt your sheen is reflected
Such is your resplendency Sarakondrai
Sun is burnt up with jealousy
But you stay here brightly cool
When you were born simple afresh
Raw and rough as then grew taller
Would any've thought of this glory
Surprise, a real stunning surprise
Sarakondrai, dazzling in heights
All well sung accoladed a lot, lot
On all your promising enticing charm
Resonating even in this street-light
Yet lot more my heart wishes to praise
For you alone read my sorrow in my heart
My sombre solitary seeks your refuge
Into my eyes to my heart set to console
Caressing with your bunches so motherly

This Time When I Met Her
Gorgeous.. fulgent.. self-esteemed
Surpassing any beauty heavenly
Tinseling her aureolin in racemes
'twixt her buddy-green all gleeful
Round her aureole buzzing beetles
In swinging breeze singing a melody
Caught awe-struck drowned my mind
Then my heart, my soul all pretty
She demanded a song from me
For her to dance an elysian style
Awe-struck me in silence too silent
'A song' she demanded...only in vain
My ear drums beat me..only in vain
Angry her one grape - bunch cursed me
Then paled bunches all slowly faded
She's gone buzzing beetle me waiting
Who's she? flora Golden Shower

Oh Bare, How Dare She Stands....
(A Tribute To The Tree Golden Shower)
Oh bare, how dare she stands sole in her space
Shedding one by one all her green, lo, nude
Bearing pain over pain leaf by leaf crude
Oh there, why pares but fate this way her grace
But friends wait and watch just where goes her race
cited march pregnant her ilk to allude
Just trends trait straight golden showers so prude
Lighted torchlike blossoms to bloom her space
Sooner sunny racemes golden flower
Haloed circle enriched enshrine our hearts
Lordess shelters us herds in blest shower
Silent diction in praise of godly arts
Succumb we in 'Sarakondrai's'power
Tributes line up, what else then from our hearts

Sarakondrai(Golden shower tree, Cassia fistula)
A week ago you shocked me of your bare chassis
Bathing denuded totally in aerial refreshment
You looked to me somewhat undone in my hypothesis
However of a presumed renaissance I forethought
What a magic! you got done day by day blossoming
To this day in grape-bunches of racemes long and golden
In tall height you're branched all around amusing
Multi-eared with fluorescent florescence heaven-done
Cassia, you just cannot be of a common nature
For your fishy nap per anum is highly seasoned
As if from the big bang is your flowering structure
No wonder, your medicated decoration is well endorsed

The Church-Bell
As I was lying in my bed
I heard the church-bell ring;
Before one solemn word was said
A bird began to sing.
I heard a dog begin to bark
And a bold crowing cock;
The bell, between the cold and dark,
Tolled. It was five o'clock.
The church-bell tolled, and the bird sang,
A clear true voice he had;
The cock crew, and the church-bell rang,
I knew it had gone mad.
A hand reached down from the dark skies,
It took the bell-rope thong,
The bell cried "Look! Lift up your eyes!"
The clapper shook to song.
The iron clapper laughed aloud,
Like clashing wind and wave;
The bell cried out "Be strong and proud!"
Then, with a shout, "Be brave!"
The rumbling of the market-carts,
The pounding of men's feet
Were drowned in song; "Lift up your hearts!"
The song was loud and sweet.
Slow and slow the great bell swung,
It hung in the steeple mute;
And people tore its living tongue
Out by the very root.

The Church Bell Rings Too Early
the church bell rings too early
the town's electrician
bald and ugly
poor and lonely
he was looking for his wife
who left with another man
taking with her
his only son
he could not eat breakfast
skipped his supper
and would not care for any lunch
and then the church bell tolled
for him
though not as early as he once did it
we shall always remember
grief, lament, the sound of the bell
too sonorous
to remember
lost affections, betrayal, death
and lack of
prayer.

Improvisations: Light And Snow: 03
The first bell is silver,
And breathing darkness I think only of the long scythe of time.
The second bell is crimson,
And I think of a holiday night, with rockets
Furrowing the sky with red, and a soft shatter of stars.
The third bell is saffron and slow,
And I behold a long sunset over the sea
With wall on wall of castled cloud and glittering balustrades.
The fourth bell is color of bronze,
I walk by a frozen lake in the dun light of dusk:
Muffled crackings run in the ice,
Trees creak, birds fly.
The fifth bell is cold clear azure,
Delicately tinged with green:
One golden star hangs melting in it,
And towards this, sleepily, I go.
The sixth bell is as if a pebble
Had been dropped into a deep sea far above me . . .
Rings of sound ebb slowly into the silence.

Saint Bernard in the fields at Clairvaux. For Hilary.
That day as the sun set,
its afterglow flooded the world with light
like the meeting of heaven and earth; then
the great bell of the abbey tolled the vesper;
the workers in the fields lowered their scythes
and bowed their heads or knelt on the sharp stubble;
a grasshopper rested on the rough hem of my robe;
nature held its breath and knew eternity
I listened as the echo of the bell
took all my listening, and then
was heard no more; but listening remained;
the silence became full of all things, and
all things were praise and
all things were love and
all things were understanding:
there I heard no other;
there I saw no other;
there I understood no other;
but was infinity itself
love itself is understanding;
understanding is itself all love.

Daybreak
Housed street
Breaking the day through a window-rift
Garden aroma hushing in waking up the mind
Lazy-hazy mood deterged to rise from grey dip
Pinky blossoms streaking in breezy comfort
Fluttering crowing upping to starry scattering
Bidding bye, bye stars and electric fluorescence
Paper-man, milk-man on pell-mell cycling
Out comes my soul to the porch
Not to the farther sun orangy
But to the Sarakondrai(Cassia fistula) nigher
Her chromatic golden foliage blooming
My aesthete to her aesthete wishing
Good morning

Fire Dance
Visions of artemis
Goddess of the moonlight
The spell remains unbroken
The wrong begin the rite of the fire dance
Standing strong and steady
Waiting for the right sign
The helix has just risen
Now we have no choice but to drink the wine
Now is the time of the fire dance fire dance
Black hearted woman
Creature of the deep night
In the darkness of your soul
Im hungry and searching to find the light
You are in control
I am in your power
Bell eeeee the bell has tolled
Now I know that the hour is near
As I burn with fear of the fire dance
The dharuba voice the wind is calling your name
You leave me no choice
Here I am falling again and again
Again into the flames of the fire dance

The Dark Holl Tolls
When the dark hour tolled its bell;
I had to bring certain things to light.
It was needed, the roots concealed yet;
Had to be brought to the surface.
Again I had to light those candles of my memory,
Which were put off by the wind of occasions.
I had to listen to the faint cries of my soul,
I had to grasp arms of past uncertainties.
I needed to explain, to put reason in my lost child;
I had to tell him that the wind does not sing lullabies.
Also that the Rainbows were not employed to
Fill the black corridors of deserted souls.
The rain is not for washing off uncertainties,
Sun is not for the sake of warming our spirits
And the grass doesn't conspire to tickle our beings.
No one was there to hear me,
The child of me had already migrated,
With the last flock of birds which flew from my childhood.

Divided We Stand
Morphed by fear, a mask to wear
But all must carry on
Desperate fights for the final light
The last straw to be drawn
Disbelieve or contribute
Revaluate your soul
A radical way to live
That undivides our rules
Open up your eyes and see the mirror of your life. Hunted every moment by the
phantoms in the night
Bow down ,time has been tolled
Rise now ,to remain
The chains of dawn will reveal
The truth and what to come
Systematized synchronized
Life is on the hold
Faith by night a shallow light
Our innocence will guide
And silent saved from decay
We rearrange our ways
Open up your eye and see the
mirror of your life
Hunted every moment by the
phantoms in the night
Bow down ,time has been tolled
Rise now ,to remain

Honor Me, As I Honor You
As I sit here, alone and imprisoned, I ponder
If this is what your mind has caused for you;
Has fear imprisoned you I wonder, as I pause for you-
How could you not allow my help, I wonder! ?
I loved you for all you were, not any less, for cause-
I leave you now with a choice that only you may make!
Remember 'us' before and allow this chance to take!
Perchance, now, before you act, you may take pause!
Just what is causal to your choice to still hold?
It is otherwise unequivocal to all, this I do believe!
As is, you are the only one that you did deceive!
As for your deceitful posit, it's bell has tolled!
Magic need be restored, as was previous, truly-
Honor me, my love, as I honor thee, duly!

Lily-Bell and Thistledown Song II
Thistledown in prison sings:
Bright shines the summer sun,
Soft is the summer air;
Gayly the wood-birds sing,
Flowers are blooming fair.
But, deep in the dark, cold rock,
Sadly I dwell,
Longing for thee, dear friend,
Lily-Bell! Lily-Bell!
Lily-Bell replies:
Through sunlight and summer air
I have sought for thee long,
Guided by birds and flowers,
And now by thy song.
Thistledown! Thistledown!
O'er hill and dell
Hither to comfort thee
Comes Lily-Bell.

Martha
SEXTON! Martha's dead and gone;
Toll the bell! toll the bell!
Her weary hands their labor cease;
Good night, poor Martha,-- sleep in peace!
Toll the bell!
Sexton! Martha 's dead and gone;
Toll the bell! toll the bell!
For many a year has Martha said,
"I'm old and poor,-- would I were dead!"
Toll the bell!
Sexton! Martha's dead and gone;
Toll the bell! toll the bell!
She'll bring no more, by day or night,
Her basket full of linen white.
Toll the bell!
Sexton! Martha's dead and gone;
Toll the bell! toll the bell!
'Tis fitting she should lie below
A pure white sheet of drifted snow.
Toll the bell!
Sexton! Martha's dead and gone;
Toll the bell! toll the bell!
Sleep, Martha, sleep, to wake in light,
Where all the robes are stainless white.
Toll the bell!

Duet
Milestone:
All my troubles disappear,
When the dinner-bell I hear,
Over woodland, dale, and fell,
Swinging slow with solemn swell,---
The dinner-bell! the dinner-bell!
Hippy:
What can bid my heart-ache fly?
What can bid my heart-ache die?
What can all the ills dispel,
In my morbid frame that dwell?
The dinner-bell! the dinner-bell!
Both:
Hark!---along the tangled ground,
Loudly floats the pleasing sound!
Sportive Fauns to Dryads tell,
'Tis the cheerful dinner-bell!
The dinner-bell! the dinner-bell!
