To dilute divorce law
Marriage is a defunct institution
Unless one of the partner accepts
Being unequal to the other.
Marriage is heading to be outdated.
Marriages have so far been successful

My parents did not have a perfect marriage. It was pretty good, but it was not perfect. My marriage is not perfect. My wife is, but I happen to be imperfect. However, that does not discount the fact that the definition of marriage must be defended and protected.

I stroll along a fragrant country lane
With honeysuckle perfume on the air -
And feathered crooner's warble to revere -

Wife is driven to wall.[India]
A woman as a wife is pathetic.
She starts her career as a sleeping partner,
Then as a yielding partner, a competing partner,
A demanding partner and a losing partner.
No time was she a choosing partner.
She winds up as a deceived partner
And a sexually deceased partner.
In days to some, she will turn
to decry wifehood and defy manhood.

We Are Not Actors!
when millions of our ancestors died for the truth,
when millions of them never acted in their life,
when millions of us work hard with our only face,
who told that world is full actors and actresses?
memorized scripts are repeated,
repeated verses can be recorded and edited,
The director vision is visualized,
Rehearsal can make the scenes perfect.
we live a scene only once in real life,
no directors, editors and the script writer,
we live our life with emotions and blunders,

Embracing impotence[A]
Sexual partners are hard to get;
Porn in the net is free for all.
Premarital sex is a crime;
Seeing porn all the time is within.
Addicted to seeing pictures,
Men develop an inability
To be turned on by girls in person.
Failure in bed after marriage
Is the matter of concern for both.
Guilt cripples him; hunger drives her out.
Childless, marriage heads to wreck.
Then mind is set to seeing only porn
And refuses to see the real partner.
It is the self inflicted impotence.

Soon No One Stays
your friends
some of them your lovers
your light in your darkness
soon they shall pack their bags
soon they shall leave
one by one
like the natural death of some flowers along the way that you pick
there are no goodbyes
no notes no letters left on the table or under your lampshade
you cannot hear their footsteps moving away from you
silently they all leave
and you do not ask why
and you do not cry
you know they will all leave you
as they used to do leaving their loved ones too
like the stories they are telling you
incompatibility, utility, loss of love, waking up one day betrayed,
the boredom of acquiantances, the marriage that did not work out,
the broken home, the love that was untrue, the friendship of motives,
unbearability of having this and that in the house,
you have heard them, you get used to them, now, you do not care
you let them go and look for places where they tell the same stories again
again and again, this human frailty, this inability to stay, to stick it out
this search for perfection where
there is none
this seach for the perfect partner
where there is none
this impossibilities of none probabilities
let them go
you have your own peace, at your own pace
your partner,
this imperfection that you sleep with
you do not care now, where they go, what they will say again
and again
you stay, in your silence, you have always stayed.

'Marriages are made in heaven'
so say people in India
a good marriage can your life lengthen
it can be your ultimate good karma.
My marriage was made in hell
Bad karma from beginning to end
Kept me for years in a prison cell
Finally, I don't have to pretend.
My marriage was made in hell
no love or affection, felt like a bad spell
A bad marriage can ruin your life
For so many years, I had no life.
The hell marriage is now over
Promise I won't do it again, ever
I'm finally free from the shackles
Thought I'd be happy, but I see no sparkles.
All I'm left now with is wrinkles
My life's hard and full of struggles
Still, I find my freedom wonderful
