Holy Remembrance
Like a spotless night darkled dominion
Ruled a diabolic king dreadfully demons and devils
Amid poison-fed animals wild
Nocturnal predator on nocturnal deeds
Transgressed even the providence
Like an eclipse hiding the sun
Feared the whole cosmos so direful
Atheistic demon Hiranyakasipu
Agnostically against Hari blasphemed Him
Atoned for a sin past dwelt in monsterhood
Hiranya to be gored by Narasimha
Half man-half lion Hari incarnated for restitution
Bemused creation abhorred the evil incarnate
Destiny schemed, sage Narada instilled
Narayana mantra into Hiranyakasipu's babe in the womb
Effulgent babe Prahlada pious in contrast
Grew to utter Narayana ever in refusal to his begetter
Despite the chip-five a bete noire be scourged and sworded
Poisoned and fired for his holy tongue
Bestowed by Brahma deathless, fearless of death
By weapon or human or animal
Land or space, day or night infuriated Hiranya
In ogreish agony commanded Hari be present atonce
In there a pillar; Thence pounced upon violently
Alas! popped out, the pillar two, Narasimha!
Torn apart in His lap Hiranya
To be forgotten to be remembered
For the virtuous Prahlada Hiranya begot
ergo the virtuous finale Narasimha taught

You Alone Are The Beginning
You alone are the beginning, the middle, and the end!
You alone, you alone, Sri Hari!
You are the indivisiblebr ahman,
Who even the likes of Brahma cannot fathom
And the misled men search elsewhere!
Millions of suns and moons dwell in your moonlike face,
Where the seeking eyes of men never reach
And just like the darkness,
which loses against the effulgent blaze of the sun
'Neti! Neti! ' the Scriptures vainly preach!
You alone are the beginning, the middle, and the end!
You alone, you alone, Sri Hari!
The Lord of the Earth is the Lord of million million universes
The million million universes are like pores of his skin!
Saguna is a mere guise of Nirguna!
You can shatter the veil of Illusion, once you grasp this Mystery!
You alone are the beginning, the middle, and the end!
You alone, you alone, Sri Hari!
Yet he is not alone, he is not distinct from his creation,
Which is his all-encompassing energy!
Sri Krishna is without the beginning,
Total bliss is his nature and Radha his ravishing beloved!
You alone are the beginning, the middle, and the end!
You alone, you alone, Sri Hari!
None knows the secret of the Vedas,
And hardly few know their essence,
Like Suka, Sanak and the divine minstrel Narada
Who meditate on the Absolutebr ahman!
You alone are the beginning, the middle, and the end!
You alone, you alone, Sri Hari!
The AbsolutePur us hott ama passionately plays as his lovers plead!
And by being his girlfriend, Narsinh relishes the very nectar
The women of Vraj so delightfully revel in!
You alone are the beginning, the middle, and the end!
You alone, you alone, Sri Hari!

Navarasas
Recurring occurrences, repeating experiences
Evoked heart emotes and expresses
Nature's instinct natural provocations
Naturally are humans on aesthetic emotions
Divine are the aesthetics godly fine
Undivine are the aesthetics destructive 'mine'
Everlasting Navarasas in never ending depiction
Endless portrayal immortal in description
Encompassed Rama and Sita at first sight
Espoused Sringara epically ethically bright
Tickled as the mind of a baby a clown
With Sursa did away brave hasya-Hanuman
Soul-filled composure, heartful karunya
Blessed Jatayu last rites done by merciful Rama
Sweet little Prahlada suffered the maximum
Salved from Hiranya Narasimha's raudram
Chivalrous chit valorous Krishna
Vanquished venemous Kaliya with great veera
Unfreed captive unmixed Sita
Feared of Ravana out of bhayanaka
Conspiracy of Kaikeyi and Mantara
Churned up Ayodhya disgusting with bhipatsa
Revelation of ubiquitous Krishna
Amazed Arjuna stricken with adbhuta
Enlightened under the Pipal great Gautama
Enraptured by shanta great Buddha
Desirous is human emotion
Illumined divine, then blessed to salvation

benih di usik ayer dan cahaya
satu hari dua hari tumbuh berdiri
anak di didik cara hidup bahagia
satu hari nanti pandai berdikari
benih di usik ayer dan cahaya
satu hari dua hari tumbuh berdiri
anak di didik cara hidup bahagia
satu tahun dua tahun pandai berdikari
the seed touched by water and light
one or two days it stands up

A Mail To Mayakkannan
Darling Krishna,
In that dispersed dream
Into a vague painting
You too dispersed in a stream
Of blue and green leaving
Me in a splendid awe
To remark till now 'aha'
In the cradle of my vision
You sway like a tiny magician
With your beauty splendour
Smiling, chuckling to evince an ankle-biter
On a banyan leaf so fertile
Only to conceal in exile
You slick up then a little grown
Patting me not to search on;
Four armed, with conch and discus
With mace and lotus
Asking me to comment on your armour
Narayana, only as an idol at Guruvayur.
Then you perform a new dance
Taking me to a deadly trance
On the serpent Kaaliya.
You then heave the hill Govardhana
Simply on your little finger.
Soon you vanish ere I admire.
Blasting you come again as Narasimha,
Tear apart Hiranyakashipu.Mayakanna,
Countless were your deeds divine yonder;
Dreamt and only dreams recur.
Hey Ranganatha don't laze at leisure;
Me, impatient by your reclining posture.
You dream now of Puthana
Breast-sucked to death by little Krishna
Who enraptured Yashoda blooming
Like lotus, aged three, so charming.
Should my dream come true
Ranga, want my Krishna alone, true
That chubby face with muddy mouth
That muddy mouth with awed mirth
Yashoda saw in a living cosmos..
Have I that repeated? ..Yes.
Consecrated by ablution of your divine melody
Were'nt gopikas roaming around Your bansuri?
Venugopal, pal of gopas
Douse me too in your musical grace.
Hurry up Hari
Prank and prattle for me
Pop in Lord, I'm waiting.

Hari Ng Musika (edited)
Oh, Hari ng musika
anong kapangyarihan meron ka
at tila nababasa mo
ang laman ng aking dibdib.
Oh, Hari ng musika
anong kapangyarihan meron ka
at iyong musika
ay tila gamot
sa aking kalungkutan.
Oh, Hari ng musika
anong kapangyarihan meron ka
at iyong musika
ay tila isang kamay
na nagtutulak sa akin
sa pangarap.
Oh, Hari ng musika
sa iyo ay aking hiling
na sana
sa iyong musika'y ituro
sa aking mahal ang daan
pabalik sa akin.

Life In The World Is Short
Life in the world is short,
Why shoulder an unnecessary load
Of worldly relationships?
Thy parents gave thee birth in the world,
But the Lord ordained thy fate.
Life passes in getting and spending,
No merit is earned by virtuous deeds.
I will sing the praises of Hari
In the company of the holy men,
Nothing else concerns me.
Mira's Lord is the courtly Giridhara,
[Translated by A.J. Alston]
I will sing the praises of Hari
We do not get a human life
Just for the asking.
Birth in a human body
Is the reward for good deeds
In former births.
Life waxes and wanes imperceptibly,
It does not stay long.
The leaf that has once fallen
Does not return to the branch.
Behold the Ocean of Transmigration.
With its swift, irresistible tide.
O Lal Giridhara, O pilot of my soul,
Swiftly conduct my barque to the further shore.
Mira is the slave of Lal Giridhara.
She says: Life lasts but a few days only.
Life in the world is short,
Why shoulder an unnecessary load
Of worldly relationships?
Thy parents gave thee birth in the world,
But the Lord ordained thy fate.
Life passes in getting and spending,
No merit is earned by virtuous deeds.
I will sing the praises of Hari
In the company of the holy men,
Nothing else concerns me.
Mira's Lord is the courtly Giridhara,
She says: Only by Thy power
Have I crossed to the further shore.
Dalam Rindu
Bersamamu
Lalui hari-hari itu
Arungi lautan waktu
Dalam lagu
Dan cintaku
Sepertinya takkan layu
Bila kau tetap di hatiku
Dalam rindu
Kasihku
Kuingin sedikit kau tahu
Betapa berharga dirimu
Dalam hidupku
Tapiku
Tak ingin selalu menunggu
Gelisah dan tak menentu
Dalam ragu
Bersamamu
Meski kadang terasa pilu
Bagai tertusuk sembilu
Jiwaku sendu
Dan cintaku
Kuatkan raga dan jiwaku
Hadapi hari kelabu
Hujan dan salju
Kasihku
Coba kau dengarkan aku
Jangan terus hindariku
Lihat diriku
Karna ku
Tak ingin selalu terpaku
Hanya diam dan mengadu
Dalam kalbu
Akankah
Kau hapus semua gundah
Bagaikan sebuah anugerah
Ataukah itu hanya kata-kata indah
Kasihku
Kuingin sedikit kau tahu
Betapa berharga dirimu
Dalam hidupku
Tapiku
Tak ingin selalu menunggu
Gelisah dan tak menentu
Dalam ragu
Bersamamu
Lalui hari-hari itu
Dan kau tetap di hatiku
Dalam rindu

Valliyur
Providential wish!
Daughters of Thirumal, to the eye-born sisters
Amirthavalli and Sundaravalli
Preached Lord Muruga Shatakshara mantra
Offered in return the sisters gratefully
Both themselves to marry Muruga
But ordered them Muruga to be born anew
Then to conjoin Him
Deivanai and Valli hence their incarnate next
Providential command!
Demon Padmasura to be slain
Amid the oceanic silence of Tiruchendur
Prior slain brother Taraka the hill-demon Krauncha
Gifted, much cheered Devendra
Daughter Deivanai to valorous Muruga
Seated the couple encaved at Tiruparankundram
Tri-pieced Taraka, slain head hurled off
Mahendragiri hill defending it
Taraka's head transformed into a rock- cave
Providential wish!
Vallimalai bore Vishnu on penance
Deer-guised Lakshmi consorted Him to bear Valli
New-born Valli later found abandoned
'Vallikizhangu' burrow supporting the babe
Found and fostered the hill-king Nambi Valli
Sneaked out to Muruga everything sage Narada
Valli now grown beautifully
In proposal disguised Muruga
Played all tricks and gimmicks
Unaware of the divine being
Tender Valli hid herself in 'valliguhai', Tiruchendur
However helped Vinayaka His brother
And matched Valli with Muruga at Tiruthani
Desired Valli to settle in the rock-cave
Demon-Krauncha where concaved
Consented Muruga to Valli's wish
Spear-struck 'saravanapoikai'
The spring for Valli to relish
Enlightenment the divine proximity did pave
Thereon named as Poornagiri the rock-cave
Valliyur thence the name after Valli
She dwelt with Muruga gleefully
Bliss of love in predominance
Exempted can not be even the providence

The Lord Is His Devotees' Slave
Whatever is a devotee's
caste, clan, family, or name,
Rama's love for him is the same.
Beggar and king
are one to him.
Say, of what caste could be
Brahma or Shiva?
Rama will never abide
in the egotistic man's heart
therefore his slave, Suradasa,
has abandoned pride.
Rama was born in the Raghu clan
Krishna found his home in Gokula.
Words fail to tell of
the Lord's love
universal, all-embracing;
Dhruva was a Kshatriya,
Prahlada a demon and Vidura the son of a maid:
yet the Lord gave them his supreme love,
Krishna washed the devotees' feet
at the Rajasuya.
The Lord is the slave
of his devotees
age after age.
The tongue can't relate
his countless deeds.
Says Suradasa, the Puranas and Vedas
are witness to these.

Hari Ng Tondo
Kahit sa patalim kumapit
Isang tuka isang kahig
Umaabusong kikilan
Ang lahat ng pumalag
Walang tanong
Ay kitilan ng buhay
Hukay, luha'y magpapatunay
Na kahit hindi makulay
Kailangang magbigay-pugay
Sa kung sino mang lamang
Mga bitukang halang
At kung wala kang alam
Ay yumuko ka nalang
Hanggang sa may nagpasya
Na sumalungat sa agos
Wasakin ang mga kadena na siyang gumagapos
Sa kwento na mas astig pa sa bagong-tahi na lonta
Sabay-sabay nating awitin ang tabing na tolda
[ Lyrics from:
Kahit sa patalim kumapit
Isang tuka isang kahig
Isang tuka isang kahig

Lyrics:klaus meine
How does it fell babe
To taste sweet revenge
Do you want me on my knees
How does it feel babe
To let me feel your strength
Dont be cruel, cant you see
If you dont catch me now
I cant stop falling down
Just one more night and the devils got my soul
I need your love babe dont tell me no way
Babe I miss you so much more than words can say
How does it feel babe
To kill our destiny
I swear Im not gonna crawl oh no
How does it feel babe
To make a fool out of me
How can you be so cold
If you dont catch me now
I cant stop falling down
Just one more night and the devils got my soul
I need your love babe dont treat me this way
Ooh I miss you, I miss you
Baby our loves got what it takes
To give us one more chance to start once again
Baby our love will find a way
As long as we believe in love

babe's are so blind...by Talile Ali
babe's like treachery
babe's like greed
babe's like being abused
allowing bad men to seed
babe's are intelligent
babes are kind
babe's are evil
when their man's loving not kind
i don't understand the reason
i don't even have the rhyme
maybe it's just the season
don't know why babe's are so pragmatically blind
babe's are lazy
babe's are feared
babe's will do what
a man won't for years
babe's are somethin else
that there's a fact
as final as prison
as deadly as smack
i don't understand the reason
i don't even have a rhyme
maybe it's just the season
don't know why babe's are so blind

Cantiga de Santa Maria No. 194
Just as the name of the Virgin is beautiful to the virtuous,
so against evil doers it is mighty and fearful.
Concerning this, a miracle happened in the land of Catalonia to a minstrel who sang well, with grace and ease, earning a good living, he came to lodge in the house of a greedy knight
Just as the name of the Virgin is beautiful to the virtuous,
…
who gave him all that he needed that night. However, that base and avaricious knight began to covet so greatly the donkey and clothes belonging to that minstrel that he ordered one of his men, evil and cruel,
Just as the name of the Virgin is beautiful to the virtuous,
…
to go with another of his group and waylay him in a hidden place in the mountains. The man did so gladly, for it was a favorite pastime of his, and I assure you, he was always eager to do dastardly deeds.
Just as the name of the Virgin is beautiful to the virtuous,
…
He took a companion of the same ilk with him. The next morning the minstrel took leave of the knight, and, as soon as he was on his way and they saw him travelling all alone, those two caught him in a steep and rocky place.
Just as the name of the Virgin is beautiful to the virtuous,
…
They dragged him far off the road and did not leave him anything of what he was carrying. Then they decided between them to cut off his head, but neither the Virgin nor Her glorious Son would permit it.
Just as the name of the Virgin is beautiful to the virtuous,
…
While the two were arguing over which one would kill him, they cast lots to see who would go first, but Holy Mary would not allow such a deed to be carried out, for the minstrel cried out loudly: "Mother of the merciful King
Just as the name of the Virgin is beautiful to the virtuous,
…
do not let them kill me, defend me without delay." They, when they heard this, began to run away and lost all feeling in their bodies at that moment so that they could not speak. The minstrel who had been robbed
Just as the name of the Virgin is beautiful to the virtuous,
…
of all he had possessed when he saw that they were in that state, staring at each other and not speaking between themselves, took all his belongings and went away and they remained in great fear of death
Just as the name of the Virgin is beautiful to the virtuous,
…
No one had ever heard tell of such a marvelous miracle that uttering the name of the Virgin might cause a man to feel nothing in his body. However, the prophet said long ago that Her name was as terrible as a mighty army.
Just as the name of the Virgin / is beautiful to the virtuous,
…
The minstrel went on his way, giving joyful praise to the glorious Virgin, salvation of sinners. All who heard of this, both great and small, considered it a noble and merciful miracle.

Devi Bhagavathi-Chottanikara
Times and times
In the dense thickets of human psyche
Thee weed out the skunky deportment
And Thou art dual in one Devi
The holy exorcist, the holy bestower
Kaali and Durga in Thou split persona
There and then
In supreme elixir of benediction
Thou art tri-faceted too
Preaching Saraswathi, protecting Lakshmi
Blissful Durgamma
There and then
Manifested Thyself of laterite Bhagavathi
Four armed wielding discus and conch
Blessing with plentiful boons in Melkavu
All facets into one of Rajarajeshwari
To awaken decoit Kannappan
Cow-guised Thine play to remain
Lakshmi and Narayana idolised
There and then
All causal by sage Bilvamangala
BadraKali, Thou be then fierce
In Kizhkavu fed of evil's blood
On shrieks and hoots exorcised
Driven nailed the spirits into a jack tree
There and then
Thine sister Mookambika jaunts
On routine to spectate
The jamboree of Thine children
'Amme Narayana, Lakshmi Narayana, Badre Narayana'
Such is Thine muchness..hail to Thee Bhagavathi

Hari Ng Komedya (handog kay Dolphy)
Sa buhay
na puno ng pagsubok
mga paghihirap at luha
pagod at pawis
iyong komedya
ay nagbigay ng aliw.
Hari ng komedya
buhay mo rin
alam kong dinaanan din
ng maraming pagsubok
subalit ikaw
ay isang tunay na hari
matatag, at hindi natinag
at komedya mo
ay katulad ng gintong
kinang ay walang kupas.
Komedya
mula sa iyo'y
aming natanggap
at hatid nito'y
ngiti sa aming mga puso
Bilang pasasalamat
sa iyo'y inihahandog
dalangin naming
sa piling ng ama'y mapasaiyo
ang walang hanggang
....kapayapaan.

Second Creation
No strongest and biggest animal in this universe
No weakest and smallest animal in this universe
Only brave animal in this universe
Only coward animal in this universe
Hands, leg, teeth, fangs, stings and poison were
First creation for fighting and self- defense
This widened a great gap between the strong big
Animals and the weak small animals.
The strength of the weak was in blood and heart
Bullet, blades, tip, shell, clubs, and stick were
Second creation to bridge the gap between them
No more strength no more weakness
Only cowardice and courage now
This second creation changed the laws of universe
From respect or fear the king of men or jungle and beasts
To a new doctrine of:
‘’Through an eye of creator see yourself as a lion
Through an eye of humiliation see lion as a worm’’
Never answer provocation, threat, conquest, occupation,
or aggression by girl friendly/ smile or cowardly joke
Although l am neither amongst the biggest nor strongest
Animals in this jungle, I can assure all of you
From man to leopard, elephant to lion that
If Mount Everest provoke me,
And I think upon it, and I decide upon it
And I pass a resolution upon it
At 12 o’clock midday
It rubble can’t be seen
At 6 o’clock in the evening.

Mantra
MANTRA
I went to buy a pen
And asked the sales woman
In a lighter vein
“I’m going to pen
A poem; the best of my writings
Give me that green one
After sanctifying
With a mantra of your religion
Or that of mine”
She replied with a humble mien
“I know Sir, no mantra, no hymn
God, the Almighty will
Take care of all”
I said with a smile
“Thanks! I liked this mantra”

Mata Hari
The seductive spy was Mata Hari.
Born in 1876, in Netherlands,
Found guilty of spying for Germany
By the French, she was executed
At her forty one, notwithstanding her beauty.
Mata Hari, the exotic dancer,
Was not pure but might have been innocent.
Though a whore, an international woman,
She had been known as in a euphemism.
An insatiable hunger for male attention.
Propelled by her sexual drive to slave men,
She lost her virginity to her Head Master.
Her prey were mostly military giants
In whom she found strong arms and
Whom she found gallant and sweet.
A female fatale that she was,
The one who ordered for her execution
Must have been an impotent.
She had rocked Europe and wrecked heads,
With no one to rock her cradle nor her heart.
