Fogged Self
Her He in all
He in Her, in Her makes
His scheme She applies ceaselessly
Yet-fogged

A Lunar Musing

The moon inset itself on the blue of the daytime sky,
Appearing like some fogged-up monocle,
Reminding us of it's ever presence,
But also it's invisibility.
Strikes me it's the same for those with fogged-up minds.

Windows

The windows of my life
have panes that go through change.
Sometimes they're clear
Sometimes they're fogged up
and I find that rather strange.

When they're clear I see the road
that stretches far ahead.
When they're foggy it's hard to see
so I close my eyes instead,
for I fear uncertainty.

Life's so unpredictable
and yet it's really not.
For unpredictability
is all we've really got.
So we hang on to each and every day
and do the best we can.

Sooner or later when hard times come
we pray the window pane
will be glass that's all fogged up
so we can remain
uncertain with our eyes shut tight
and unable to see that windowed sight.

The substance of my self (Terzanelle)

The substance of my self remain
in every speck of dignity,
in humility and pain,

the shadow of my soul remains me
in fogged out looks
in every speck of dignity,

in every word, in poems in electronic books
fading away, lamenting, cry
in fogged out looks

every thing, where nostalgia runs dry
in the well of my spirit and soul
fading away lamenting, cry

like a unreachable goal
with love crumbling into hallucinations
in the well of my spirit and soul

flowering like a bunch of bloody carnations.
The substance of my self remain
with love crumbling into hallucinations
in humility and pain.

Role Play Dreams

We've been fogged by ambiguity.
And role play dreams.

It,
Had been never my wish...
To leave you.
Maybe to lead and guide.
As if to mentor.
It,
Was something done,
We both needed.
That's what I,
In my selfishness believed.

Perhaps it was me,
Who sought compassion.
On a schedule.
And you...
Sought that too!
Too much.
As if to greed.

You were someone I could easily love.
Endlessly.
And maybe you felt squeezed.
Or sought you thought to please...
A constant feeding of my needs.
And fresh air was not there enough...
For you to freely breathe.

Perhaps it was me,
Who sought compassion.
On a schedule.
And you...
Sought that too!
Too much.
As if to greed.
But you received little of that from me.
And too late it is for me to see.

We've been fogged by ambiguity.
And role play dreams.

It,
Had been never my wish...
To leave you.
Maybe to lead and guide.
As if to mentor.
It,
Was something done,
We both needed.
That's what I,
In my selfishness believed.

And it that could have been,
Has diminished.
With me,
Selfishly...
Thinking of myself as the center,
Ending your dreams with me...
Foolishly finishing to end it!

Shaving Glass

A look at the shaving mirror
And I remember
The face of the one that went before me
The hand that held the razor
Warm breath that fogged the glass
Same spot where he stood
Seems a moment yet gone for good!

Clogged

Clogged, logged, bogged, cogged;
A new spot!
The story book,
My mind,
My dreams.
Blogged, fogged, dogged, hogged, jogged;
A new spot!
My works,
My hope;
But, when will i see you again?

Quizzicalness

Should i shut my eyes
like others have shut
Should i work like those
like others have worked
Should i durst not courage
Like others did not
Should i mock that mob
Like others have mocked
Should i fight my wars
Like others have fought
Should i seek my goals
Like others have sought
Should i fog in the mirror
Like others have fogged
Should i burst into tears
Like others have sobbed

Human Perfection?

Perfection:
The Holy Grail of human beings
Yet;
Masked by parental ignorance
Fogged by societal imprinting
Deemed impossible by self-loathing victims
Impugned and judged by the self-righteous
Struck blind by fear and guilt

Perfection:
Cannot be attained by deeds,
Rather by recognizing true self
As a Divine Act of God here and now
As all is fashioned from the “Light of Creation”
Rejoice precious ones' for perfection lay within

A Master once taught, “Know thy self”

Sometime After Midnight

Sometime after midnight,
The streets are dark and deserted,
Muted by the vagrant silence in the wind.

The clouds pout softly.
A steady stream of slightly chilled rain water
Washes over the slightly fogged windows.

Inside, a glowing television set
Whispers its story to sleeping ears
That wouldn't have been listening if awake.

An empty gas station across the street
Hums, dimly lit, and cars pass around it
With nowhere to go.

Song of the Rain

Night,
and the yellow pleasure of candle-light....
old brown books and the kind, fine face of the clock
fogged in the veils of the fire - it's cuddling tock.

The cat,
greening her eyes on the flame-litten mat;
wickedly, wakeful she yawns at the rain
bending the roses over the pane,
and a bird in my heart begins to sing
over and over the same sweet thing--

Safe in the house with my boyhood's love
and our children asleep in the attic above.

My hands shake while I turn the car on

Against the fogged car window
my fingers call to the outside
while you walk away
tossing away the past, of years long.

There’s a chill folding around you
while you are holding yourself brave,
lifting your head in a recalcitrant way
and my hart is still calling to you

and you believe that every clicking clacking step
gives you greater freedom
and I have loved you in vain
and you walk away to your studio

pulling the door bolted locked tight
as you have already decided
to ward off the world and life
and my hands shake while I turn the car on.

Unframed childhood

In retrospect, everything is a mist
Memories are but faint and faded
Childhood lost amidst
Blurred reminisces long dead

A fogged vision unveils
Shapeless shapes in the distance
Dimensions and definitions still
to indiscernible importance

A face frozen, a child’s days framed
For a fraction of eternity
Reflecting moments of a mind untamed
To be my past’s testimony

I wish I had a photograph of my childhood
I could then say “this is me at ten”
I could then word
“I was a brat then”

Last Night Was a Struggle

Last night a struggle fogged the shrinking land,
The trees bowed from the sense of the way;
You squint, I watch, as the rights of civilians
Are discussed by the fogs and mists of the land.
Down the street we see Mr. Gulliver as he sprints,
And missiles look over us, with a reading of fog,
Special sites exist to consume the air rockets.
A wonderful glow occurs every now and then,
Toward the city a missile is sentenced,
To innards the reply is made for the hats.
My trees turn out to be windows
As they are shelled and opened then.

Dewpoint.......Final couplet is the poems' kernel

I am at the point
Where I can absorb no more.

You can only get so rain-soaked
And then rain-soaked no more.

Like a slug, sliding across the floor,
I leave a slimy trail, like fingerprints,
Wherever I go,

Bleeding my lifeblood,
I wear the hematomas like a shroud.

The body can only take so much pain
before the bones break, the marrow spills out
and the face becomes twisted, wrung...

An old, sunken in, sponge.

Stepping out of the shower, upto a fogged mirror
Where my face is no longer visible.

I am saturated with heartbreak
And at the dewpoint of its breakdown.

Uplifting Ideals Fogged By Realities

Any awakening called upon...
For others to do that,
To happened?
With an awaited expectation?
Has 'Sacrificial' worn somewhere,
Attached or printed.
And is easily seen!

This awakening into bliss,
Is not going to happen.
And that is as positive,
As it is going to get!

Generations of chickens,
Have been fed corn.
And they cluck for more.
That's all they know!

And those persistent...
With uplifting ideals fogged by realities,
Wishing this to be seen as wished?
Is equivalent to videotaping one's favorite pet...
Graduating from Yale with honors.
And that's...
After securing a Doctorate from Harvard.

And 'someone' somewhere,
Is going to admit to doing this!
Hoping to get a look of approving shock.

'You know...
I've always known Winston to be a smart animal,
But my goodness.
What a tremendous achievement.'

Dancing Barefoot

She is benediction
She is addicted to he
She is the root connection and
She is connecting with me

Here I go and I don't know why
I spin so ceaselessly
Could it be he's taking over me

I'm dancing barefoot
Headed for a spin
Some strange music drags me in
It makes me come up like some heroine

She is sublimation
She is the essence of thee
She is concentrating on
He who is chosen by she

Here I go when I don't know why
I spin so ceaselessly
Could it be he's taking over me

I'm dancing barefoot
Headed for a spin
Some strange strange music drags me in
It makes me come up like some heroine

She is recreation
She intoxicated by thee
She has the slow sensation that
He is levitating with she

Here I go when I don't know why
I spin so ceaselessly
'Til I lose my sense of gravity

I'm dancing barefoot
Heading for a spin
Some strange music drives me on
Makes me come up like some heroine

Oh God I feel for you
Oh God I feel for you
Oh God I feel for you
Oh God I feel for you

Severe Sense of Humor

I had to walk across
all the sorrows fate had stored for life
I was shot down
by all the unprecedented and sudden strikes.

I stood for a while(and)
rued all the miscalculated mishaps
touched the certain parts of my canvas.
I walked away with a stern smile.

Almighty seems to have
a sense of humor
very practical, very majestic
yet somehow interestingly severe.

A severe sense of humor
a thought to savor
somehow seems almost
human behavior.

Yet divine is the word
magnified sense of divinity
gives us a less fogged view
belief is much better than scrutiny.

Im dancing barefoot

Where Are The Lights Hidden?

When look into the sky, there is some light, then dark,
When look into the heart there is lot of truth clogged,
When look into the eye, there is a cloudy lens, fogged,
Let the light be shown everywhere to see the invisible,
Let hundred Suns emerge from the offing of infinitive,
Let the space be lighten up to see the galaxies in the black holes,
Let the stars that are light years away sway as the candles,
Let the white light remove the smear from the souls,
When the darkness is removed through the light,
Many truths may become lies and lies become the truth,
Let the light be shown on our hearts to bring out the mirth.
