A Flower To Auroville Mother-76
Periwinkle(Vinca, Catharanthus roseus)
Tiny Periwinkle(Tiny Vinca, Catharanthus pusillus)
Not minor nor major, only nearer
Vinca different of Periwinkle
At my door side and everywhere
Shrubby small all-time sparkle
Of contortion incoordinate fate
O'but toxigenic yet therapeutic
Of vincine alkaloids beating fate
Colourful of varieties many
Perennial Roseus wide found
Lance-leafy Vinca annual tiny
Penta-petaled flora all lauded

A Flower To Auroville Mother-59
Lesser periwinkle(Vinca minor)
Large Leaf Periwinkle(Vinca major)
So a chosen one you are
As by divine order angels
Over the ranges at times
Stepping along to answer
So you are as Periwinkle
Major, minor leaves varying
Leathery or plain spreading
Blue, violet, rare-white winkle
So over the Himalayas you are
A treatment magical by heaven
Penta-petaled southward even
May be unto me by divine order

Periwinkle-Blue Pyjamas
Periwinkle-blue pyjamas, crowned with grey, untidy hair,
added unexpected contrast to the drab neglected air
of the hospital sub-basement where the x-ray plate portrays
in black and white bone highlights that lie hidden from our gaze.
Periwinkle-blue pyjamas took their stand behind the queue,
as a wrinkled ragamuffin flanked by darker midnight blue
of two stalwart representatives of France’s force of law
who escorted the pyjamas to a chair far from the door.
Periwinkle-blue pyjamas clothed a scarecrow whose despair
could be read by all around him, clear as day to all who’d dare
to read between those lines that linked both hands and feet, that played
a sing-song steely solo when limbs were together laid.
Periwinkle-blue pyjamas parodied that ‘tent of blue’
Oscar Wilde depicted poignantly, - o scar! - so well he knew
man is by man dehumanized, what’s killed none can restore,
man leaves empty husk to wither, kernel rotten to the core.
Periwinkle-blue pyjamas did not care to meet one’s stare
in the hospital sub-basement where the x-rays laid all bare,
hands and feet were crossed uncomfortably, the keepers were obeyed,
leaving all around disconsolate, and three or four afraid.
Periwinkle-blue pyjamas, seated silently askew,
seem so distant, yet tomorrow could present a pair to you.
So suspend all hasty judgement, for who can tell what lies in store,
and be satisfied with happiness - don’t consistently seek more...

Twenty
This is my world, small as it is,
It is a planet by itself with very
Small moons, and tiny stars,
And so tiny, you cannot just
See me there, I am hiding,
But I still live here just the same,
Breathing atomic air, and drinking
Molecular waters, so you see,
How tiny I could be, how tiny
I could get, but this is my
Small happy world, my smile
My laughter so tiny, that you
Cannot hear, you cannot feel,
And that is your world as big
As the sun, with comets and
Meteors, and so big and so
Wide, with oceans and rivers,
And continents, and gigantic
Arctics, and snowy lands, and
We are then so different, and
With me, there is no problem,
I, in my small world, can fit
In yours, but you, you cannot
Fit in mine, that we must
Accept, I am a small world,
And you are a space still expanding,
Now, do you understand,
why I hide?
why I shy away from you?

There Once Was A Tiny Girl
there once
was a tiny girl
who grew up
in this world
there once
was a tiny girl
who cried herself to sleep
every night
there once
was a tiny girl
who wore the same dress
every day
there once
was a tiny girl
who wouldn't go out
and play
there once
was a tiny girl
who would bleed and have bruises
from head to toe
there once
was a tiny girl
who begged
daddy, please no more
there once
was a tiny girl
who the angels
heard her prayer
they came down
and took her
to a better place
where that tiny girl
found love
instead of hate

Suisun Spring
the green glow
of our cottonwoods
newly clothed in the gentle April sun....
our apple tree,
still skeletal,
intimating cotton buds
promising green glory to come,
and the grass!
all winter-yellow evaporated,
shouting like a
third-grade leprechaun
skipping across the playground
in the school's St. Patrick's Day Parade.
but most unforeseen,
along the rough fence
the vinca
blazing with royal light
in the deep, verdant shade
of our cottonwoods.

The Other
I sit at this tiny table
and wait
as I have before
for you to make
excuses to get
away;
to steal the tiny time
you have with me.
I know I should go,
break away
and leave
but I don't.
I sip my coffee
swirling in the cup
mixing my milk
and your strong brew.
Perhaps one day
there will be a me and you
but today-right now
there is only me.
I feel you at my side
suddenly
your face
comes over me
and once again
there is the peace
you offer
each time we meet.
That is the drug
which overpowers
each time
I
the other woman;
and we
reach across
the tiny table
re-joined
in tiny time
the tiny space
we allow ourselves
to enjoy
rarely,
this other me
that other you.

Valentine's Day
Oh! I wish I were a tiny browny bird from out the south,
Settled among the alder-holts, and twittering by the stream;
I would put my tiny tail down, and put up my tiny mouth,
And sing my tiny life away in one melodious dream.
I would sing about the blossoms, and the sunshine and the sky,
And the tiny wife I mean to have in such a cosy nest;
And if some one came and shot me dead, why then I could but die,
With my tiny life and tiny song just ended at their best.

Tiny Drop
Waste of Tiny, Tiny Water Drops.
Always Trigger my Conscious Thoughts.
A Tiny Water Drop can make a Sapling Laugh
Tiny, Tiny water Drops can get you sweet Pod.
Tiny, Tiny Water Drops can make a Plant to Stand
As a Tree, This can give Shelter to a Lot.
Because of Waste of Tiny, Tiny water Drops
Many lives have become short.
So try to save even tiny water Drop, Which will
Get you Heartily Laugh.

A Flower To Auroville Mother-56
Violet(Viola spp.)
Going out of hand my heart
Questing for flora all over
And this Violet a divine art
When captured by manoeuvre
Bloomed a Violaceae-mart
Amazing me with a hang over
A hurried study did my heart
Of variety violas however
Just to end up with one Violet
Of whom small, shrubby some-some are
Perennial, annual some-some Violet
Of upswept four, lobed one lower
Petals of colours many to treat
Violet, blue yellow, white to flavour
Bicoloured some alongwith impart
All now in one hold to favour
Medicinal and culinary art
Heart and oval leaves to savor
Petaled perfume performing sweet

Pantoum - To Near Perfection
on sandy beaches with no wind
gentle sunshine warming skin
turquoise water topaz skies
periwinkle shaded eyes
gentle sunshine warming skin
perfect summer days begin
periwinkle shaded eyes
blocking sun and hiding lies
perfect summer days begin
on this spinning rock time flies
blocking sun and hiding lies
on sandy beaches with no wind

Tiny Angel
golden hair, tiny curls
blue eyes, sparkle
tiny angel laughing
chasing butterflies in the garden
sunshine and shadows
picking flowers, making chains
tiny angel halo
curled up on my lap
sandman coming soon
dreams await you
sleeping angel
sweet smiles, soft kisses
giggles that melt my heart
happy angel
i see your wings
don't fly away
i need you here with me
tiny angel
gone too soon
i miss you

Big and tiny creatures
Big and tiny creatures, are so unique each one,
But they're so amazing each one, out in the noon day sun;
For example, look at the spider, and the web she doth make,
So clever and wonderful, and the time she doth take.
Big and tiny creatures, I am amazed each one I see,
Look at the pigmy possum, trying to hide in a tree;
It's color goes in with the background scene,
But he will cover his steps to hide where he's been.
Big and tiny creatures, do you like the tall giraffe?
To think his neck is so tall, his length is longer than a raft;
Then there's the whale, out in the huge sea,
Moaning and groaning to his mate, amazing do you agree?
Big and tiny creatures, like the tiny crab, or the large hippo,
What about the large elephant, and the tiny ant on the go;
Each one has a job to do, yet both care for their young,
They travel far, travel wide, busy in the hot sun.
Big and tiny creatures, colors some so pretty,
Such as the butterfly, and the flamingo, agree;
Then there is the snakes, and the parrots too,
We should thank God for each one, where thanks is due.

The Sky's New DayDress
Almost everything is turning pink now,
Under the light of the rising sun.
The sky which was cloaked in its evening gown
Is now changing for its morning dress
Made of blue, white and gold.
In doing so, the sky shifts colors,
As if he waves to us his majestic cape.
The walls of the buildings start to lighten,
which means the sun was coming
To embrace the sky with its golden, shining warmth.
And now the sky's dress sways along
With his dance of grace
In such slow, yet exhilarating tempo.
Black turns Navy Blue.
Navy steps down to Indigo.
Indigo swirls around to Violet Sky.
Violet Sky waltzes into Periwinkle.
And now I wait for that final bow,
Wherein the greatest spectacle is shown.
When Periwinkle bows and leaves the dance floor,
Cornflower Blue shall enter to dance
With the sun
And the clouds,
All on the Sky's daydress.

A kingfisher and a tiny scalloped fish
'Hey! My buddy what's your name please? ' kingfisher questioned from a leafless tree top.
'My name is small king in the muddy pond.' tiny fish replied humbly.
'Oh! Then we are in the same genius family it seems and let's fly together to see our kind neglected relatives abroad.' The scallywag kingfisher requested politely.
Tiny fish sings in the flight; 'Oh! What an amazing sunrise in the broken sky when the depressive election drew nearer.'
* Tiny fish grumbles to publish this in the site as a dedication for the Labor day.

Little Guns
Tiny people, with little guns
Little armies march, to little drums
What do they want?
What do they want?
Tiny soldiers, with little guns
Little tanks, no bigger than your thumb
They want you
Little people, with tiny brains
Little bullets flowing, in their veins
What do they want?
What do they want?
Tiny people with little guns
Little armies march, to little drums
They want you, you
You, you, you, you
Little airplanes, with tiny bombs
Little squadrons, dropping thimbles of napalm
They want you
What do they want?
What do they want?
Tiny people, with little guns
Little armies march, to little drums
You, you
You, you, you, you
Tiny people, little guns
Tiny people, little guns
Tiny people, little guns

hey, it's 7pm. here in SD!
It's dinner time! ! !
See?
to everything there is a season,
a time to mystify and
a time to satisfy!
there are wrinkles
that refuse to acknowledge
the presence of
a periwinkle, a dimple and
an apple
all rotten except one,
it is gone

Say Goodbye
Tiny lights dance inside his eye
They dance with the care
of snowflake flies
They talk all day and whisper all night
Is that anyway to live
Say goodbye
Accept this fate without any anger
Say goodnight
Turn out the light and close the door on your way out
Tiny voices inside his mind
They sing with the whine of Christmas time
An empty letter he could've left
Is that anyway to die
Say goodbye
Accept this fate without any anger
Say goodnight
Turn out the light and close the door on your way out
Tiny lights dance inside his eye
They dance with the care
of snowflake flies
They talk all day and whisper all night
Is that anyway to live or die
Say goodbye
Accept this fate without any anger
Say goodnight
Turn out the light and close the door on your way out

The Crooked Ways Of The Tiny Birds
feelings are sometimes like the tiny birds
of summer feeding on a few grains
on the wide yards of the garden where the grasses
spread far
some feels being smothered by the indifference of other
tiny birds
separated by the distance of the long lines of
parallel electric poles
imagine the image of tiny birds sitting in there
looking for pecking
one notices the vastness of the sky
the unfinished climb of the hill
the vanishing paths of trails long untrue
feelings like tiny birds fly away
but there is no reason to be afraid on the
facts of nonreciprocating birds
ah, the world is wide and too interesting
to be ignored
