A Flower To Auroville Mother-63

Peace lily(Cobra plant
Spathiphyllum wallisii)

Ah, a name of tranquility
Will dislike her any

Perfect with bright light
With food and moist correct

Why worry blooms when Peace
Centered in white at ease

Shiny leaves soilborne lordly
Green and perennial bold godly

Ecofriendly environs-cleanser
Sturdy and sweet home-freshener

Majestic nagini she's watching
Bewitched at her we're matching

I Wish You: Peace!

You will ever need your peace
It's what will give your life ease
Then a life with it gets a good treat
It has value nothing dares to beat
To me, He whispers sweet peace
It brings my soul a great ease
Many people are seeking for riches
As it can put food in those dishes
It can settle some of your wishes
It can put clothes on your back
It can bring you fame in a big stock
But this it seemed to have lacked
Since it made some people blocked
The beauty of having sweet peace
To me, He whispers sweet peace
And my soul finds a great ease
There is peace in Christ for all
He will give to those that'll call....
It's better than silver and gold
So, whether you are young or old
Your soul will need to be at ease
Then seek the PRINCE of PEACE
To me, He whispers sweet peace
And my soul finds immense peace
I wish you: Peace!

A Flower To Auroville Mother-75

Spider lily(Beach spider lily
Hymenocallis littoralis)

Calm and lovely, she's Spider Lily
White and peace she's Spider Lily
Pristine and pure she's Spider Lily
Silent and certain she's Spider Lily

There, up above the fanning leaves
Asunder below staminal cup she's
Overflowing her nectarian streams
Mind-blowing her aura measureless

Sacred tepals lofty with beauty
Stamens atop splurging as deputy
There goes heaven's sweet ditty
Miss not a white goddess pretty

Anthony, Bess, Clark, Diana, Edward, And Florence Are Returning Home

Returning Home
Those kids have nothing to worry about
The night is over
The castle has imploded into the sea
And the sun shines high in the sky
On this glorious countryside morning
They're going home at last

There's finally peace at last
Peace for Anthony
Peace for Bess
Peace for Clark
Peace for Diana
Peace for Edward
Peace for Florence
Peace for all their families now
The darkness is now gone for good

They're going home safely
They're walking home safely

All We Want Is Peace (Please)

Peace, Peace, Please,
Please, Peace, Please,

There’s something we should do
That’s not been done
Something we can win
That’s not been won
Something we can SHOUT OUT
To end all their brutal war games
We Want Peace

Case for war was fake,
Don’t let it fade
More lives can be saved
Got to be brave
Something we can shout out,
We want peace, and we want it right now
Talking is Free

All we want is Peace
All we need is Peace
All we ask is Peace, Please
Peace is all we want

All we crave is Peace
All we miss is Peace
All we lack is Peace
Peace is all we want

Something we can ask,
Before it’s blown
Something we can grow
Before it’s grown
Small green shoots of Peace
To educate next infancy
Believe me

All we want is Peace
All we crave is Peace
All we wish is Peace, please

Peace is all we ask
It’s not a big task
Believe me
It’s easy.

All we want is Peace, All we want is Peace,
All we need is Peace, All we need is Peace.
Peace is all we want,
Peace is all we want
Peace is all we need,
Peace is all we need………………

Come on in this house children

When it's over there's a question asked
Who wins? Who wins?

If I could I'd pack my bags
And hitch hike to heaven, yeah

And we will call it Britain

Crisp green the stems of daffodils
That brave in spring cold sun
Soft tender green the hawthorn buds
Unfurled with winter done
Bright green the fresh leaves on the limes
That verdant branches lace
Dark green the lily’s slender shoot
That moist earth, piercing breaks

But greenest of all that is green
An island Earth did make
And we will call it Britain
Natures green estate

A Flower To Auroville Mother-49

African lily(Lily of the Nile
Agapanthus africanus)
White Lily of the Nile
(Agapanthus africanus f. albus)

So my journey will never end
As Lord hath shed His mercy
Flowering all over the land
Ceaseless to make me crazy

And on my journey such one day
I saw you oh, Lilies of the Nile
And rushed to you without delay
Bewitched by your umbel-style

Oh, wonder of all new wonders
Ever since then perennial you're
My heart steady in fresh visuals
Visioning blue and white flare

Leafing arched tufted at base
Up on the umbel flowers funneled
Featured name lovable 'Agapanthus'
Aye, all sad and sorrow annulled

Give me peace I won't cry anymore
White dove symbol of peace
Peace can be found deep down in the heart
Peace in the winds that sleep upon the deep

I want peace
Peace in my personal space
I want peace in my feelings

Cardwell Lily(Proiphys amboinensis)

From your bulbed abode
Strong long you rise
Fanning veined leaves
Seem elephant-eared
Huge, broad and shiny
I see a contest there
As you up in clusters
Snow-white six petals
Yellow throated bliss
Godly..'tie' I declare

Let me keep watch

Let me keep watch
Over your body when
You are resting in peace.
Let me sacrifice
My meditation to you
When you are resting in peace
Let me protect your body
From rotting
When you are resting in peace.
Let me protect your memories
And dreamless dreams
When you are resting in peace.
Let me plant a fruit tree
Above you that I may still eat
When you are resting in peace.
Let me storm the gates of heaven
When you are resting in peace.
Let me give you oblation
Of our experience
When you are resting in peace.
Let me breathe for you
When you are resting in peace.
Let me douse the fires of hell
When you are resting in peace.
Let me glorify your name
When you are resting in peace.
Let me be your counterpoint
When you are resting in peace.
Let me overcome the light
When you are resting in peace.
Let me touch your organs
When you are resting in peace.
Let me drink your water
When you are resting in peace.
Let me describe your bones
When you are resting in peace.
Let me dream your dreams
When you are resting in peace.

[My Little Green Plant]

I have a plant in my house.
Not a tree a shrub ore a shrew.
But a plant.
It's green and red and sparkle blue.
Healthy clean and sticky like glue.
Bold beautifully and fragrant to.
My little green plant, how I love you.

I love my plant all stretched out high.
When it's flowers open it reveals a surprise
Just imagine it as you close you're eyes.
My little green plant, always on my mind.

My plant is thirsty it needs special care.
Nutrients and light, without it would die.
Like a child growing up ill always be there.
12 weeks to grow, and not a care.
3 feed tall and producing air.
My little green plant with little red hairs.

The time has come that I must say good by,
my little green plant has grown up right.
I'll trim it nice and hold on tight,
my little green plant makes me happiest tonight.
I'll sow the seed and sign the deed,
my little green plants one hell of a weed.

Come on now people get your minds out of the gutter..... I'm just talking about sage! :)

X..... Peace

A pregnant coconut tree
Quadruplets about to be born
Through its gently shuffling leaves
Rays of the fast rising sun
allow a lovely sneeze

Music of an orchestra of birds
floating on sounds of breaking waves
Soft breezy air carries a smell of the sea
A feeling of close to perfect peace
engulfs my body, mind and soul

A small salamander runs by on awkward legs
The sea is blue, the sky carries fluffs of wool
In perfect harmony with the green of grass and trees
The peace goes on, a close to perfect peace
A butterfly flies by and the peace goes on

Promulgate Peace

Promulgate peace wherever you go,
wherever you go I say promulgate peace,
In all the places - for the reasons I know -
a people free to choose will always choose peace!

Promulgate peace wherever you are,
it's a necessity in a developing nation!
Always keep the gates of peace ajar
and, please, proclaim peace without procrastination.

Promulgate peace in all ways,
to every living being preach peace;
both on highways and byways
people prefer the prince of peace.

Promulgate peace, it's not a crime!
It's the ideal use of energy and time!
Proclaim peace and eliminate pity,
yes, if spreading peace is a crime then I'm guilty!

Promulgate peace each and every season,
it really would be a handsome idea!
Preach the words of sublime reason
to each and every listening ear!

Bring peace unto my bosom, my dear -
bring peace and take away my film of fear!
Give to the world peace and freedom
For that shows a great sign of wisdom!

Promulgate peace and let's defy the odds,
let's all strictly stick to humanity,
let's be fair and faithful like the knight of old
And lets take a leap into pacific pools of serenity and tranquility.

Peace equals justice and unity,
Peace is equiponderate to impartial amity,
yes, a purely pacific world a probability there is,
and with each and every one of us lies the capbility to ease -
to ease our tempers and attitudes and breathe peace
For a people free to choose will always choose peace!

Beautiful Girl Vavroovahana Patra

A sweet silvery silent Beauty Girl passes on the path;
Enjoying the beauty of Nature derives peace, mirth.
Loves all companions delightfully;
Loves parents devotionally.

Honey girl plays with companions peacefully;
Mind derives perennial peace gaily.
The Beauty of the Girl attracts neighbours;
Mind enchants with peace, pleasure.

Sweet lovely girl plays among companions gaily;
Provides peace to creatures.
Lovely girl is peaceful;
Her mind is delightful.

The girl prays Goddess Mangala in morn;
Mind derives peace in dawn.
She is a village Deity;
Beholding, all derive gaiety.

Innocent girl provides peace;
Praying Goddess Divine Bliss.
The girl plays on the river;
Derives perennial peace pleasure.

The Easter Lily

A little child, as winter turned to spring,
Tended a lily-plant with patient care,
Thinking, when she should see it blossoming,
To set it on the chancel-step; that there,
When Easter dawned on Lent, the spotless thing
Might on the feast-day be her offering,
Lifting its own white face to One more fair.

But, as the plant grew upward day by day,
Raising itself from earth towards the sky,
So seemed the child from earth to draw away,
The while she feared to see the lily die;
Unthinking that, ere broke the Easter ray,
She might her own white soul before Him lay
For Whom she sought the flower to sanctify.

Time passed. The lily bloomed not; and the night
Before the feast had come. And so the child
Sent to the church the cherished plant, despite
’T was but an unblown bud; and—reconciled
That on the altar-step, midst flowers white,
Her poor green stalk watched out the silent flight
Of hours until the morn—contented smiled.

• • • • • • • •

Fair broke the dawn upon the altar’s hem
Of lilies, breathing Easter greeting sweet;
But, with the night that so perfected them,
The child’s own spirit fled, the Light to meet
Beyond the heaven’s roseate diadem;
And, with the morning, bloomed upon the stem
The fair, white soul her own had longed to greet!

Nearly Ripe

Nearly ripe, these green apples
hang heavy
from our bursting tree,
the warm evening sun
glinting through swaying branches.

They will be ready
in about a week.

Then I’ll slice them into sweet crescents
And their taste will dance upon your tongue
with all the secrets our tree has been keeping,
its living leaves,
its smooth, grey bark,
its very roots
grasping deep
into our dark soil,

and these glowing, green apples
I will make bare and white and moist,
a love offering like perfect wine for you,
and your taste will delight
in the sweet, green love
of the earth.

America Is

America is red, white, and blue,
the colors that stand so brave, and true.
Men in battle facing death,
Men in the world provoking crime, and theft.
America stand up on your feet,
Hold proudly out the flag, tenderly, and sweet.
America is home of the true,
Of people at peace like me, and you.
Red is for the blood in battle we do shed, white is for the peace we all share,
But sometimes we seldom even care.
Blue is for the sky where our fathers have gone, and stayed,
Watching us as we fight for peace both night, and day.

Peace, everywhere, peace today!
Peace in lands of scruffy trees and pine,
Peace in lands of olives and wine,
Peace in lands where peaks are white,
Peace in lands where fields are bright.
Peace in lands of oasis and sand,
Peace in lands where people band,
Peace in lands where children play,
Peace in lands where people pray,
Peace in lands in the thick of the fight,
Peace in lands ruled by force and might.

Everywhere, everywhere, peace this day!
Pray that all world leaders lead the way,
Encouraging moral people to stand proud and tall,
No government too great, no nation too small.

Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson

From The Cantata For N. F. S. Grundtvig

His day was the greatest the Northland has seen,
It one was with the midnight-sun's wonders serene:
The light wherein he sat was the light of God's true peace,
And that has never morning, nor night when it must cease.

In light of God's peace shone the
history
he gave,
The spirit's course on earth that shall conquer the grave.
Might of God's pure peace thus our
fathers'
mighty way
Before us for example and warning open lay.

In light of God's peace he beheld with watchful eye
The people at their work and the spirit's strivings high.
In light of God's pure peace he would have all learning glow,
And where his word is honored the 'Folk-High-Schools' must grow.

In light of God's peace stood 'mid sorrow and care
For Denmark's folk his comfort, a castle strong and fair;
In light of God's pure peace there shall once again be won
And thousand-fold increased, what seems lost now and undone.

In light of God's peace stands his patriarch-worth,
The sum and the amen of a manful life on earth.
In light of God's pure peace how his face shone, lifted up,
When white-haired at the altar he held th' atoning cup.

In light of God's peace came his word o'er the wave,
In light of God's pure peace sound the sweet psalms he gave.
In light of God's pure peace, as its sunbeam curtains fall
To hide him from us, stands now his memory for all.
