A Flower To Auroville Mother-13

Vetchi, Idli poo(Ixora coccinea)

It's their paradise I find all and well
Multi-coloured and sized dwarf and tall
Sponging pally in a gentle breezy dwell
Palming multi-fingered 'come, come'say all

It's their decor I see all over and abode
Mindless to picking mindful to hugging I adore
It's their decorum of guarding of a healthy mode
I feel a glow in a swish all over and more

Faced palm crowned in a heart of colours
Sundries she and she and she and so on
Bunchy, bushy in clustered merry gregarious
Adorn 'Vetchi' morn and Muruga, a triumphant dawn

Dance A Multi-Coloured Dance Of Rainbow

Words can fail like magnets not sticking to the fridge
and we all complain when the rent is due again.
Pay your bills and meet the obligations of
the world, never mind attending to the
payment of your soul.

The new voice is speaking, the new religion
has been announced. We are to celebrate
everything and tradition we are to renounce.
Dance a multi-coloured dance of rainbow
prisms and inter-faith delusions.

We are to ignore the truth of the Gospel
for too many find that it offends. We must
not have complaining and so we must merge
into one blend. Let the fires burn so
brightly as we burn away the words
we do not like. Dance a multi-coloured
dance of rainbow prisms and
inter-faith delusions.

Men should not sleep with women, for
that is not the way the new voices want
it to be. Instead they should seek male
partners and live in illusions of
conformity. We must not call a spade
a spade for in doing so we ignore
the new mindset.
Dance a multi-coloured dance of rainbow
prisms and inter-faith delusions.

No need to wave flags for we must
not cause nationalism to exist. Only
one nation is right and that is the
propaganda we must believe. So we
watch our televsions and rejoice
in the latest American war.
Dance a multi-coloured dance of rainbow
prisms and inter-faith delusions.

The parade has begun, and the marchers
have lined up like soliders in a drill.
The banners are ready ot wave, the
sound of music will soon flood the
streets. We will march for equality
and conform ourselves to a plastic
sheeted state of being. Dance a
multi-coloured dance of rainbow
prisms and inter-faith delusions.

And though the old ways will not die,
we will pretend they do not matter.
We will surrender ourselves to
immoral methods of existing. We
will speak only of politically correct
topics and we shall never disagree.

Dance a multi-coloured dance of rainbow
prisms and inter-faith delusions.

On the Stage

Lights, in a multi-coloured mist,
From indigo to amethyst,
A whirling mist of multi-coloured lights;
And after, wigs and tights,
Then faces, then a glimpse of profiles, then
Eyes, and a mist again;
And rouge, and always tights, and wigs, and tights.

You see the ballet so, and so,
From amethyst to indigo;
You see a dance of phantoms, but I see
A girl, who smiles to me;
Her cheeks, across the rouge, and in her eyes
I know what memories,
What memories and messages for me.

Merry-Go-Round

Multi-coloured horses,
frozen in flight,
going up and down,
round and round,
day and night.
An organ plays a constant tune,
as young riders smile with joy,
as they ride around,
on this merry-go-round.

A Celebrated Accident

Celebrated Accident

Beautiful rainbow over the valley
I saw a man climb up its bow only
to disappear in a symphony of
colours. When the rainbow paled
the man fell to earth. He is now a
famous pianist and plays popular
music for an adoring audience,
wears a multi coloured tie and sits
in a wheelchair

Poetry Can Damage Your Health

The day my doctor died of smoking
I bought myself a fat cigar -
I realised he must be joking,
His funeral was so bizarre:

A dwarf in multi-coloured clothing
Sang louder than the parish choir
And though my heart was full of loathing
I leapt upon the funeral pyre.

I'd often longed for such a roasting
And knew it was my friend's desire,
I shouted out 'We'll all be toasting
In Hell's incandescent fire! '

Don't be discouraged by this story,
Smoking cigarettes is fine,
Inhale them on your days of glory
And drink your fill of rich, red wine! !

The British Way Of Life

The British people have a good sense of humour
They like to strive on gossip and rumours
I like the British way of life
It can be stressful at times but they don’t dwell on strife
Britain is a country of multi-culture
People from all countries came to the UK for a better future

The British culture is embraced all over
Once ago the UK was the world shaker and mover
English people like to have a party
They will drink and get drunk
But they are generous and like to give money to fight poverty
The UK is a fun loving nation
They embrace multi culturism
But some ethnic group don’t do integration

A Flower To Auroville Mother 29

Nagalinga Poo(Cannon Ball Tree, Couroupita guianensis)

Rare you look with protecting serpent multi-tongued
With your leaves serrate in secret guarding
With your fruits in unkempt dangling steadied
With your bold bole outspread in eyeful watching...

All for what oh, perianth pink and red and yellow
Ah, that secret of a cosmic whorl around an axis
In your salving heart so moist centered to glow
Yes, yes Nagalinga, Shiva..Truth of vast cosmos..

And no wonder you're the flower for the Lord
Scented from the providence special and ritual
Soft and soothing lofty for heart and mind
And all surrender, no wonder to you so habitual

Multi-emotionalized

I'm the one that's suppose to feel,
Everyone's pain.
Including my own.
But less magnified.
I am suppose to pledge my allegiance.
No matter if I am spit and spat upon...
At the expense of my self expression.
On streets where my ancestors more than paid,
For displays of these misgivings.

Misunderstandings...
That I'm expected to internalize,
And make them my own.
To dispense and share,
With those in joyous despair and disillusioned.

'Like the pain that is theirs which is thrown upon me.
With a followup of statistics to compare survival methods.'

Multi-emotionalized,
And I am underlining it.
I am only here to joke and dance.
Not feel or think a thing.
I'm only here to boost your sports machine.
While you fill your gut up...
And continue to demean.

Multi-emotionalized,
And I am underlining it.
I am only here to joke and dance.
Not feel or think a thing.
I'm only here to boost your sports machine.
While you fill your gut up...
And continue to demean.
I'm only here for purposes,
To help you feel supreme!

'Like the pain that is theirs which is thrown upon me.
With a followup of statistics to compare survival methods.'

I'm a mult-emotionalize thing you think you've made!
I'm multi-emotionalized with each emotion taught,
To be slick and smooth and as sharp as a razor blade.
Sharpened to display any emotion.
If asking for it!

'Like the pain that is theirs which is thrown upon me.
With a followup of statistics to compare survival methods.'

And a swift change to those statistics come.
A stiff reconditioning to redo and rejuvenate...
A thought process needing to be undone.
With follow up statistics coming to shake up everyone.
In a multi-emotionalized doing!

Not everyone should be expected to feel or see,
From your perspective which is fading.

Jack' Of All Trades

The ability to multi-task,
Dance fast and adorn many hats.
Use to be considered foolish,
By those who chose to 'specialize'.

Today,
One who is a 'Jack' of all trades.
Has 'mastered' survival.
With an agility to others shown.

Mumbai

They call it a city that never sleeps,
Dreams at large; everything in heaps
Buzzing all the time, different people different cons,
It got its roses and it got its thorns.

City of murmuring traffic and twinkling cars
The multi-millionaires, the movie stars.
We’ve got it all;
The vada-pav and the dance bars,

Crowded local trains, almost on time,
Spirit of its passengers always sublime
City where honesty is rewarded,
But bravery is crime.

Success and failure are in twilight,
City where changes happen overnight
You might be swept if caught off sight,
Got lucky, then you be on a flight

Multi-lingual, multi-religious,
City of unusual weather,
I wouldn’t be wrong; if I say,
It’s a city where country comes together,

Every city has its ups and downs and she is no different.
She gives me an identity and makes me proud.
City where I was born and city where I want to die,
My city! My Mumbai

Represented In Some Capacity

I can not say I am multi-lingual.
However,
I can say I am more culturally aware,
Of the diversity that shares the offerings...
My ethnic heritage exposes others to.
Than they can say theirs has been exposed to mine.
And that is fine!
Because I am represented in some capacity,
Everywhere...
The most!
Regardless of who has fed upon my 'wealth'!
Even today...
There are claims being made,
That my 'insignificance' as is proclaimed...
Feeds their greed where they keep their 'interests'.
Which are upon lands of my origin!
So...
You are correct,
I am not multi-lingual.
But I sure can profess to being connected,
To everything else.
Even Tarzan swinging from a vine can not say that!

A Petition

I pray to be the tool which to your hand
Long use has shaped and moulded till it be
Apt for your need, and, unconsideringly,
You take it for its service. I demand
To be forgotten in the woven strand
Which grows the multi-coloured tapestry
Of your bright life, and through its tissues lie
A hidden, strong, sustaining, grey-toned band.
I wish to dwell around your daylight dreams,
The railing to the stairway of the clouds,
To guard your steps securely up, where streams
A faery moonshine washing pale the crowds
Of pointed stars. Remember not whereby
You mount, protected, to the far-flung sky.

Women & Multi-tasking

“Women are great at multi-tasking” is just a myth!
To say they are would be the perfect crime!
“If women are so bloody perfect at multi-tasking,
Why can’t they have a headache n’ sex at the same time? ”

Multi-facetness

A recovery from discovering a wrong has been done,
Can save one...
From a two faced reputation.
With an extra step of pride to take.
Far less pretentious.
But still refreshing.

Yet...
Today,
Two faced folks are fascinated...
By their own images.
With time taken to perfect them.

These folks can be heard often saying,
They do not discriminate.
You know...
The apple pie eating flag waving types?
Whose ancestors arrived,
Carrying Gucci packed in Louie Vitton.
And wearing only the clothes on their backs,
On the upper deck of the Queen Mary.

Since many today,
Are caught up in their own multi-facetness.
With alluring social skills intact.
And exaggerated talents,
Embellished as part of the act.
Delivering their 'When I was poor' stories.

And found entertaining,
Within certain circles of those amused.
Who themselves adorn masks!
For any occasion,
Where requests for their presence is asked.
You know...
On those tiny yachts.
And even smaller chalets in the Alps!

His Dressing Gown

His multi coloured dressing gown resides in my cupboard
for a another chance to adorn his body, that firm back,
his manly stance and his naughty bottom bits.

I shrink back from it every now and then for it reminds me
of those tender moments; the way he shaved.
the way he dried his hair, the way he brushed it.

Sometimes when I'm cold I pull on the bloody thing and
it warms me through and I imagine the scent of him,
then I take it to bed and fall asleep in it.

When summer comes I hide it at the back of my
very deep wardrobe, like the inner corners of my mind
and try to forget,

but it won't stay hidden and knocks, tap, tap, tapping at the door
keeping my memories urgently alive and my mind
ever lingering on images.
