For Him I Know Not: Viii

i never really explored
the depths of this soul
that people talk so much of
but when your eyes first met mine
and the lashes moved on their own
in disbelief if it's all for real
that nth part of a wink
i knew what eternity is all about
in that eternity i dived
deep into those unknown depths

ever since
i've been waiting at those
invisible depths...

What Is There Written In The Depths Deep Therein?

Who has the courage
to look into the depths?
Of their own immortal soul
to read what is written there?

How often across the scores of years
the same sentiments keep reoccurring!

How often have you heard?

‘I do not want you to see the truth
To see too far into the depths of my soul’

It seems only a few dare
look into their own souls!
To see what is there written
in the depths deep therein!

The Real Depths Of Love We Do Not Know (Roundelay)

In the morning we are awakening
to the rising sun as a shining thing,
during the year seasons come and they go;
while the real depths of love we do not know.

From a baby’s first inquiring small cry,
until the very day that we do die
endlessly rivers to the sea do flow;
while the real depths of love we do not know.

From the very act of our own creation
to sin our parents had an invitation
and by his own death God did his love show,
while the real depths of love we do not know.

We teach each child, our own daughter and son,
the principles of love until we are gone,
while the wind eternally dies and blow;
while the real depths of love we do not know.

De Profundis

Out of the dark depths
of my soul,
my love for you appears.

When it’s dark
round me,
you are the one
that brings light to my life.

Somewhere in my depths
the seed was already sown
to love you,
before I even knew you.

At times pieces
just fits together
and enhances each other
and that how it is
with you and me.

Friedrich Nietzsche

People who comprehend a thing to its very depths rarely stay faithful to it forever. For they have brought its depths into the light of day: and in the depths there is always much that is unpleasant to see.

Thank and Praise Jehovah's Name

Thank and Praise Jehovah’s Name;
For His mercies, firm and sure,
From eternity the same
To eternity endure.

Let the ransomed thus rejoice,
Gathered out of every land,
As the people of His choice,
Plucked from the destroyer’s hand.

Praise Him, ye who know His love;
Praise Him from the depths beneath;
Praise Him in the heights above;
Praise your Maker all that breathe.

For His truth and mercy stand,
Past, and present, and to be,
Like the years of His right hand—
Like His own eternity.

Blue Depths Of Your Eyes

Some blue eyes trap me in their depths,
Some blue eyes shine as crystals in darkness,
As i gaze at them fascinated and charmed,
I am melting in the blue depths of your eyes.

And when your eyes burst into tears,
I am seeing the ocean in them,
I am feeling like a boat that sails without veils,
As if i have lost my compass and spinning into the abyss.

I stare at those gorgeous blue eyes and cannot stop,
I fall to their power like i am hypnotized,
Radiating beauty and wisdom from their depths,
I feel trapped and happy in the blue depth of your eyes.

From the biography of an unknown woman: XVII

From static waters to
Puddles and ponds to
Streams and canals to
rivers and seas she, this
Unknown woman steers
Her engrossing course
During the course,
She's a ripple
Is at the mercy of waves
Gets pushed to varied depths
Struggled for breath...

If ever you chance to
dive deep into the sea
There you would find her
One among the many species
That naturally survive
At unfathomable depths...

Iron Coffins

Dedicated to the submariners everywhere, past, present and future.

The sea holds many secrets
in the darkness of its depths
and men being men have dived
beneath the waves in iron coffins.
Some have gone there
to fight an unseen war on passing ships,
while others have dived
to depths for exploration.
No matter what they did,
at times their machines
became iron coffin
to entomb them on the oceans floors.
Each who sails beneath the waves
holds their breath for a moment
always hoping to return
as they dove - alive.
However, there have been many.
Who have been lost below
in the iron coffin that they rode.

In Your Touch!

i cannot judge
the distant star
by the light that reaches...

my eyes.

i cannot understand
the ocean's depths,
by pressing the shell to my ears...

and listening.

i cannot comphrehend
the freedom of the wind,
as i walk 'neath the trees

in the moonlight.

but i can know love
that moved whole mountains,
and stopped eternity....

in your touch!

The First Moment

A door opens in the center of our being and we seem to fall through it into immense depths which, although they are infinite, are all accessible to us; all eternity seems to have become ours in this one placid and breathless contact.

Thomas Merton, Seeds of Contemplation

The approach is clear;
light of day,
bright sky
beyond my
silken shroud,

the door is open,
but I am afraid.

Should I pass through,
perhaps descend to
endless depths?

I listen,
I hear you calling me
calling me;

come home.

so, breathless,
trembling with life,
I begin.

Crypts Of Eternity

Devious to those unknown
He walks below the land
Alluring victims to their death
Perish to the sand

Master of the blackened arts
Living his decree
Thrives amongst the Seven Gates
Searching for the keys

I have seen the darkened depths of Hell
Sorcery beyond the witches' spell
Robbed the crypts of Death's eternity
Killed the priest and cursed him endlessly

Chants of evil incantation
Fill the murky night
Free the Devil's knights of Hell
Unleash their growing spite

Directing power forcibly
The fire of Hell is cast
Resurrect from crypts of Death
A demon from the past

I have seen the darkened depths of Hell
Sorcery beyond the witches' spell
Robbed the crypts of Death's eternity
Killed the priest and cursed him endlessly

Cringe with fear
Violate the unbroken seal of Hell
Death will come searching for
Your mere soul
Still you are eager to seek your fate
All that lie here are remains of Death

Grinding bones

When I feel you soft and hot under me

When I feel you soft and hot under me
and I loose myself in you
and we are long part of each other
and your cries and the look in your eyes
touches the depths of my humanness.

We are caught at a place
were minute’s turns into eternity
and on the rim of a wave,
that just becomes bigger and more intense
while it hangs trembling
as if it’s never going to break.

The world about us goes on with its own way
and later the wind is cool on me
and your head lies on my chest
and your hair tickles my face,
while you fingers string through mine
and life feels wonderful and right.

You stay the one

Your eyes are oceans
on which I sail at times
and sometimes cannot fathom
the depths of it.

Your mouth is a hurricane
that folds around me
and catch my thoughts.

Your hands are like flames
with heat
burning through my whole body

Your breasts are peaks
rising fierce against the heaven
catching my eyes

and your body is a harbour
that shelters me
against the pounding storms,

but you stay the one who understands
and knows the depths
of my soul.

How Deep In Debt Are You?

And,
My love...
You have my mind.
My heart and my soul,
For all eternity.

'And you, my pet...
I will be forever indebted.'

No!
Think of my love as ours to share,
For the rest of our lives.
I have so much of it to give!

'No,
My love.
I am hoping...
With your assistance,
My bills and creditors...
Will procure for us a decent payment plan.
And eternity will not find us forever...
Fighting to deny our bliss like cats and dogs! '

Wait a minute!
How deep in debt are you?

'Deeper than the depths of the Atlantic Ocean!
Where do you go my love?
Do you rush to purchase more wine? '

No baby...
I'm trying to find the exit,
So I can get out of here as fast as I can.
I'll give you a call, okay?

I Am On The Edge Of My Own Universe

I AM ON THE EDGE OF MY OWN UNIVERSE

I am on the edge of my own universe
Not going higher
About to fall-
Drawn back into the depths of the depths of the depths
Of my own deadly despair.

I am on the edge of life with others-
One small step across
And I am there -
The wide worlds open before me
The sky all light
Nothing in my way-
And I move freely
From where I am
To where I will be next
Happy in mind
Unable to fall-

Depths

Down in the depths of the great blue sea.
I drown in sorow and boundless selfpity.
Ghosts of the past haunt so eriely.

Ever time I near the surface,
demons down below grab with ill purpose.
To beat and plunder what hope is left,
I now drown here in these hopless depths

I wander through to ry and find my way.
To a new life a brighter better day.
On and on the journey goes,
continually stepping on others toes.
Every time I learn a lesson a trapis sprung,
I start regrettin.

Drowning in these horrid depths.
Please save my soul it's close to death.

Love Spill

I plied the wine dark waters of the world
whose depths carry all the unknown
holding tightly to my cargo of dreamstuff
fearing pirates but moreso being alone

I saw around me other ships take harbor
some sank against the rocks along the way
still others fled free holding trust together
I myself was still adrift upon the waves

I knew I could not wander forever on the sea
or tread the troubled waters with any haste
So in the depths of my heart sprang a crack
and leaked out love like radioactive waste
