Justice

Here I lie motionless, unperturbed
My lips still posed
From my last silent prayers
But breath no longer comes to me
And still I lie
And still I wait
For that last day
When justice will be in my hands
Then I will ask,
With the same detachedness
With which the action was committed
Why did I pay?
What did I do?

My prayers

I touched your cold hands
hands that worked the land
caressed your tousled hair
hair that had known flair
kissed your silent lips
lips that sweet secrets keep

My prayers in vain
tears leaving stain

Your words lodged themselves
deep in the crevices and shelves
awaiting the moment of freedom
to shine in the kingdom

I touched her little hands
hands that hold no plan
caressed her soft hair
hair that dances in the air
kissed her sweet lips
lips that smile at the tips

My prayers in pain
soul bare lain

Her laughter clear as bells
chasing away spells
dispersing shadows with her light
casting wrongs putting them right

Your words came flying back
Have faith tho thee lack
it will sustain thee
in life without plea

My prayers in gratitude
love in servitude

Unperturbed

The peace you see for me has been alloted.
I'm glad about it.
No need to shout or frown your mouth,
Or question how I feel with doubt.

The peace you see for me has been alloted.
I'm glad about it.
No need to shout or frown your mouth,
Or question how I feel with doubt.

I'm unperturbed by what is mine deserved.
People like you 'got' nerve.
But sitting on mine is not permitted.
I've been acquitted, exculpated.
A receipt I have says paid in full.
Any stress on my back will be minimal.

The peace you see for me has been alloted.
I'm glad about it.
No need to shout or frown your mouth,
Or question how I feel with doubt.

The peace you see for me has been alloted.
I'm glad about it.
No need to shout or frown your mouth,
Or question how I feel with doubt.

The peace you see for me has been alloted.
And I'm unperturbed.
I've got it.
And I'm unperturbed.
No need to shout or frown your mouth,
Or question how I feel with doubt.

The peace you see for me has been alloted.
And I'm unperturbed.
I've got it.
And I'm unperturbed.
No need to shout or frown your mouth,
Or question how I feel with doubt.

Oh...oh...oh...oh,
I'm unperturbed.
The peace you see for me has been alloted.
And I'm unperturbed.
I've got it.
I'm unperturbed.
I've got it.
And I'm unperturbed.
I've got it.
I'm unperturbed.
I've got it.
And I'm unperturbed.

God's offering

what is mercy without action
what is humanity

Untitled pieces III

Untitled pieces III

My feet hanging from the roof,
I sit staring at the sky,
Some stars twinkling far away,
The moon drowned in the dark,
The trees so silent-leaves motionless,
Strike a chord-the music begins!

I see my shadow evolve in the field,
Much longer - much darker than me,
Reminding me of those golden days,
Much shorter-much happier than today,
A joy in my heart-a bunch of friends,
Sang songs of life-brought life in life!

The breeze brings in a scent of solitude,
The silent trees have lulled the birds asleep,
The motionless leaves have hidden the fruits,
The faint moon has emptied the sky,
There is a void in the air,
As I reflect on my toy of thoughts.

Will I be lost like those fruits in the dark?
Will I be drowned like the moon in solitude?
Will I be silent like those trees?
Will I be motionless like those leaves?
The night is devilish bringing thoughts of end,
Like those twinkling stars passing into nothingness.

Silent Screaming

Will you just leave me alone? Screaming in the silent,
This motionless stalemate is cutting me like a knife.

Reaching for what is no longer there-
Trying to appear I care when I don't care.

Just want to run away, run to a distant place,
Where the sun melts my plastic face.

Find a place where I belong, in welcoming arms,
Live on a world of peace, where the ocean's calm.

Where no more do I keep my right hand free,
Where peeling away masks no longer concerns me.

Got my back up against the wall.
Walking, but I ain't there at all.

Knowing what I should be doing, but I won't.
The scars in my back still bleed, ghosts still haunt

Weary from the long battle, the sticks and stones-
They've finally, in my armour, smashed a gaping hole.

Flinching from every little hit, grasping at straws,
Falling for the final count, lying on the floor.

Silent screaming deep inside, ripping me to shreds.
Lying here, pounding my hands on my bed...

But let the fire come, the armies, the dragons of the land,
I will fight them with my last breathe, with whatever is in my hands.

I will not die a coward, but rather a lion bold.
Though I may not win, I will earn my place with those who didn't fold.

Screaming in the silent, bracing myself for yet another 'final' fight...

On the Innate Drive For What is Right

As life bled, martyrdom flared its buds.
Repression, red from irritation,
Rendered chinks and cracks; but thuds of
Armament - in cowardice - accomplice of the
Dictatorial blight thro' countless years -
Wreaked its retribution:
Yet hope began to bloom a coloured carapace
Enshrining their allegiance ‘gainst the
Terror in their tears.

And on! Splits yawned - breaches in the junta:
Flesh fought fanatical minds -
Bullets welcomed into open hands
And blessed with yearnings for morality:
Chiselled man-toys of death and mutilation
Couldn't repel the might of freedom
Surging at the bright horizon.

Crepuscular rays of purpose, body,
Flooded pandemonium with
Overwhelming clarity, direction -
Burdened clouds drifting wayward as the
Light channelled out a vision,
Intensifying focus on tomorrow -
Deepen their stride
As they home in to
What is theirs,
Rightfully theirs!

Wait

(orbison--dees)
We walk in shadows, we talk in shadows
We date in shadows dark and cold
But wait, it will be alright
Wait, baby hold me so tight
I hate to break your loving heart in two
But wait, I cant stay away from you.
I promise you Ill be with you tomorrow night
I have to wait until the time is right
Yeah wait a little longer now
Wait a little stronger now
Wait a little longer now for me
Oh what you do to me
Wait now until I am free
Yeah yeah yeah wait a little longer now
Wait a little stronger now for me
Wait, come on come on girl
Wait, try to be strong girl

How Much Longer

I'm stuck
Inside
Can't get this done wish I could hide
This scene is really such a pain
I just
Can't see
How this is any use to me
This work is drivin' me insane
All I really want is to get away (can anybody tell me)
How much longer
Till I'm done
How much longer
Wanna feel the sun
How much longer
I can't wait
How much longer until I can play that game
It's on
My mind
I think I'm runnin out of time
This weight is more than I can take
That clock
Is slow
It's never gonna let me go
This time I need more than just a break
All I really want is to get away (can anybody tell me)
How much longer
Till I'm done
How much longer
Wanna feel the sun
How much longer
I can't wait
How much longer until I can play that game
How much longer
Till I'm done
How much longer
Wanna feel the sun
How much longer
I can't wait
How much longer until I can play that game
And here I go again (and here I go again)
Wondering when (when)
I can have my time to play
(Can anybody tell me)
(Can anybody, can anybody tell me)
How much longer
Till I'm done
How much longer
Wanna feel the sun
How much longer
I can't wait
How much longer until I can play that game
How much longer
Till I'm done
How much longer
Wanna feel the sun
How much longer
I can't wait
How much longer until I can
How much longer until I can play that game
(I want to play that game)
Play that game
(I want to play that game)

Holy Mother

By eric clapton and stephen bishop
Holy mother, where are you?
Tonight I feel broken in two.
Ive seen the stars fall from the sky.
Holy mother, cant keep from crying.
Oh I need your help this time,
Get me through this lonely night.
Tell me please which way to turn
To find myself again.
Holy mother, hear my prayer,
Somehow I know youre still there.
Send me please some peace of mind;
Take away this pain.
I cant wait, I cant wait, I cant wait any longer.
I cant wait, I cant wait, I cant wait for you.
Holy mother, hear my cry,
Ive cursed your name a thousand times.
Ive felt the anger running through my soul;
All I need is a hand to hold.
Oh I feel the end has come,
No longer my legs will run.
You know I would rather be
In your arms tonight.
When my hands no longer play,
My voice is still, I fade away.
Holy mother, then Ill be
Lying in, safe within your arms.

Murder On Music Row

Nobody saw him running from sixteenth avenue.
They never found the fingerprint or the weapon that was used.
But someone killed country music, cut out its heart and soul.
They got away with murder down on music row.
The almighty dollar and the lust for worldwide fame
Slowly killed tradition and for that someone should hang (oh, you tell them alan).
They all say not guilty, but the evidence will show
That murder was committed down on music row.
Chorus:
For the steel guitars no longer cry and fiddles barely play,
But drums and rock n roll guitars are mixed up in your face.
Old hank wouldnt have a chance on todays radio
Since they committed murder down on music row.
They thought no one would miss it, once it was dead and gone
They said no one would buy them old drinking and cheating songs (Ill still buy em)
Well there aint no justice in it and the hard facts are cold
Murders been committed down on music row.
Chorus:
Oh, the steel guitars no longer cry and you cant hear fiddles play
With drums and rock n roll guitars mixed right up in your face
Why, the hag, he wouldnt have a chance on todays radio
Since they committed murder down on music row
Why, they even tell the possum to pack up and go back home
Theres been an awful murder down on music row.

Accept the truth

Don’t justify the action done,
Nor find cause, nor invent reason
And instead do admit the truth
For the action you’ve committed.

Justice stands still

When justice stands still
only the fool hearted,
will contemplate pursuing even the most just of causes,
when justice stands still,
the brave only will seek retribution
for sins committed against them and their kinsman,
can any gleamse of sovereignty exist
where justice takes a tea break,
and when justice decides to stand still
will any sanity prevail,
where justice once stood still,
can any unity ever be restored

once upon a time the jews were slandered and abused
but they had the courage to stand up and refuse,
when justice stands still,
the supposed saviours become the enslavers,
who then will stand up to refuse for the people
when justice stands still,
the law makers become peace detractors,
creating laws meant not to ensure harmony,
but to bring woo to the masses,
when justice stands still,
they will seek to devour,
those they once vowed to protect,
justice stands still,
the eleventh plague,
not just a biblical fantasy,
but a present reality

Suffocation

Last night I had the weirdest dream
I dreamt that I was lying in bed
With this girl whose hair was
As black as the night and as
Thick as a forest,
And her hair, her hair was
Smothering me
Or at least, I thought it was
Her hair,
Until I noticed it was her hands
Running over my face,
My lips
My eyes
My cheeks.
As hot as the desert
And smooth as silk
But pressing down
Pressing me into my pillow
Until I could see nothing
But the pink of her skin
And I thought,
Im gunna die
Those hands are gunna
Kill me
Until I realized really,
It wasn’t hands,
But lips,
Sucking the air from mine
Engulfing my last breath
And drawing it into her being
And I thought, well,
At least lips are
A nice way to go
Until finally I came
To my goddamn senses
And I realized,
I realized it wasn’t her lips
But the words coming
From those sweet lips
That was suffocating me
And it was “I love you”
I was choking on
Not her hair, hands or lips
At all.

Committed

committed! !
me and my boyfriend have made a pact
we are committed and thats the fact
he will not screw any other women apart from me
and i will not seduce anyone else apart from him

committed! !
we will be a heathy twosome or so it seems
with this thought in our mind our relationship will gleam
yes sir we are a committed bunch
the world will sing praises of our relationship
the world will stand and admire our friendship

committed! !
he will screw me till his hearts content
as i behind his back will screw all his friends
he on the other hand will bang all my friends
yes sir we are a committed and our relationship is as firm as steel

committed! ! !
it's a word not to be taken lightly
it's the bed rock of all relationships strong and mighty
yes indeed we are committed
he can't screw anyone and i ca'nt be promiscious it's not permitted
we are so so very committed

committed! !
yes sir committed indeed
we are the two us sailin merreyly in our ship
when he is angry with me he does the maid
when i am upset with him i get laid

committed! !
we are thinck as thives
till his money runs out and i have fullfilled all my needs
oh sir we are so so so very committed....................

Give It Up

You got your sugar
You got your spice
You got a kitten
Now isn't that nice
You just can't wait for a picnic in Spring
I just get nauseous
When I think of those things

You wait and wait and you wait for a lifetime
For a little piece of cake in the night time yeah
You wait and wait you can't wait any longer
You wait and wait

Talk To Me

J. spinks
Im not afraid in the dark
To say what I fell
And Im just too scared to tell ya
What I know is real
(chorus)
But I cant wait any longer for the lights to go down
Wait any longer for the lights to go down
Wait any longer for the lights to go
Down cant you see
Baby when you talk to me
Baby when you talk to me
Talk to me
Baby when you talk to me
I wanna hold you so close
Each beat of the day
I call you up on the phone
Nothing to say
(chorus)
Since we first you were the only one
Sometimes I forget - Im still the lonely one
Ooh-ooh-ooh
Im in a trap - sealed by your lips -
Scared to go anywhere
Thinking about - those things I miss -
Whenever youre not there

Wait til I Get You Home

You never cease to amaze me
You can still make me crazy
Baby you can turn me on
With just your eyes
Youre just so darn appealing
You stir up sexy feelings
Every man in the room
Would like to try you on for size
Chorus:
Wait til I get you home
Wait til I get you alone
Wait til I get my hands on you
Wait til I get you home sweet baby
Wait til I get you home
Oh baby you still make me
Feel feelins that can take me
To places where Ive never been before
Well honey Ive got a feelin
Well make some shadows on the ceilin
Tonight by candlelight behind closed doors
Chorus:
Wait til I get you home
Wait til I get you alone
Wait til I get my hands on you
Wait til I get you home sweet baby
Wait til I get you home
Your lovin gets better
Each time were together
Its always exciting and new
Each time we discover
Were still like young lovers
Its always been magic with you
Baby wait til I get you home
You just wait til I get you alone
Wait til I get my hands on you
Wait til I get you home sweet baby

Breath! Breath out!

A moment of silence.
Breath out!
There is nothing to say aloud.
Reflection of passion in the eyes.
Breath!
There is no time to realize.
They quickly open the door lock.
Breath out!
They look at the clock.
Endless kiss in the hall.
Breath!
Don’t fall!
The sound of falling ring.
Breath out!
Ding, ding!
The smell of electricity on the skin.
Breath!
Who will win?
A certain expression on his face.
Breath out!
It’s not a race.
Fulfilling with ecstasy two glasses.
Breath!
They are full of fantasies.
Not clear whispers of wet lips.
Breath out!
You are not VIPs.
The hasty movements of two lightings.
Breath!
They are fighting.
One is tender, another one is rude.
Breath out!
One is not so cute.
Rocking hands of the clock.
Breath!
Don’t get a shock!
As… one is released,
another one is not.
Take a deep breath!
As… here is a dot.

Around the World With Minerva

She would offer us crumpets.
Minerva Pinkston...
Once part of a jet set!
Holding up both hands to announce...
Her painted nails were wet!

She rambled on as if we were being tested,
To remember her travels to places...
And names of those of power she met!

When we first arrived at Minerva's front door!
Many thought she wore a mask...
Or her make up was done very poor!
Her long eyelashes
Made her top eyelids droop!
She had too much lipstick on her lips...
She could kiss lips consistently,
Of the bears who mooned her
Or a mesmerized passing moose.
With an instant wish to fly away...
Faster than a chased goose.

Minerva posed in the kitchen
And each of her seven rooms.
We made the mistake of stopping
In her wine cellar.
And she consumed more wine
We found ourselves outside...
To escape and leave wine fumes behind!
Getting fresh air was on our minds!

After we observed Minerva...
Minerva had the nerve,
To announce she had taken us on a tour.
Around the world with her!
As we stared and chatted on the stairs,
Of Minerva's veranda.

And if we had been first
Introduced to that moose...
Many of us sitting,
And staring at Minerva,
Would not try to hide...
The laughter slipping giggles,
That was begging,
To be freed
And let loose!
We closed our eyes and held our breath
When she would pass switching her fat...
Caboose!

Minerva Pinkston did not notice this at all...
As she flaunted with flair,
As if we weren't guest...
But photographers to catch,
Every nuance she managed
As she posed and patted...
Her sprayed bouffant hair!
Minerva didn't care.
We were there for Minvera...
And of this Minerva was aware!

She would offer us crumpets.
Minerva Pinkston...
Once part of a jet set!
Holding up both hands to announce...
Her painted nails were wet!

And when we were ready,
To leave Minerva's place...
Her smiling face
Began to crack like plaster.
And all there couldn't wait,
To vacate before tasting
Minerva's surprising and 'award' winning
Cake she said she baked!
Some were rude...
When they ran through the door!
And jumped like olympians,
Over the front gate!

And the screams of laughter heard...
Stopped Minerva's chirping to her caged birds!
