A day for....

An unsewn day rises from yesterdays dust
it's a new day to darn
a choice of many colors
Empty canvas
Or blank sheet
Awaits your brilliant mastery

What would love look like?
A blanket made of patches
A etching
Made eternal on stone or glass
Oh and lace
With its many holes..
Shapes of ovals
squares and hearts
cressent moons and stars
Or the beauty of nature
Streams, forests
Wind carved stones of sand
Rainbows formed from sun and mist of rain.

What would be in your heart?
As you watch the horizon..
The sky changes from dark
to blue and other hue
Red, orange and bettween
And twisted clouds with weightless flab.

And the blue of tomorrow
Awaits...
As it goes through....
The needle's eye.

Rainbows

Rainbows of color, are seen after a storm,
The way God made the first one, the curved form;
Red, yellow, blue, green and purple, orange too,
Made as a Promise for Noah, a promise kept true.

Rainbows of color, across the land so wide,
In the trees and hills, the sunsets, over a set tide;
Only God could make it, oh perfect beauty,
Made to enjoy them, made for you and me.

Rainbows of Colour, in Gods creatures too,
Such pretty animals, like the camealion it's true;
Then there's the birds, from flamingo, and parrikeet,
God made them all, watch them at the zoo, sitting on a seat.

Rainbows of color, in all the trees and flowers as well,
Like the roses, carnations, violets, and the Irish bell;
Purples, pinks, blues, many shades we'll see,
God also put colors in an insect, such as a tiny bee.

Rainbows of color, We see in veggies and fruit too,
Like cabbages, tomatoes, turnips and capsicum, it's true;
Peaches, oranges, apples, passion fruit as well,
God made them for us all to share, we should in thanks to God, tell.

I Am ' SKY #4 series

' i am ' sky
my colors are my moods
' i am' light blue when i'm at peace
' i am ' dark blue when i'm troubled
' i am ' dark clouds when i cry for justice
' i am ' light clouds when i'm in thought
the stars are my teeth in a smile
with the universe.
the lightning bolts is my anger in full fury.
the heavy rains are my tears.

the light rains is my contentment
of a new birth.
the rainbows is my heart at rest.

Yesterdays Child

Roy orbison/bill dees
I see the face of yesterdays child,
Living in a state of in between.
Is there a place for yesterdays child,
Searching for an unforgotten dream?
Looking for rainbows at midnight,
Hoping tomorrow will come.
Will time erase for yesterdays child?
What will the child become?
I hear the voice of yesterdays child
Echoing my name, my name, my name.
Is there a choice for yesterdays child,
Seeking shelter from the falling rain?
Chasing a butterfly lover,
Making a run for the sun.
Who will rejoice for yesterdays child?
What is the game to be won?
Will you draw?
Will you fold?
Will you start playing wild?
What is the future for yesterdays child?
Will you turn to dust,
Or go to the sea, racing with destiny?
Oh,look at me,
Born to be yesterdays child.

Blue Rain (Coming Down)

Silently I hear the sound of the blue rain coming down.
Its late tonight and I just saw you walking by.
Without one word of hello or goodbye.
Just one look at you with someone new,
And then I knew Id see you go around in the blue blue rain.
I didnt know one moment ago it could rain this way
You use to run straight to my arms now you turn away.
Oh I never knew such of feeling of blue.
Blue rain blue rain.
Blue rain.
Why did you make me love you than break my heart in two.
Then leave me alone here in the rain to cry for you.
Tomorrow will be filled with the lonely.blue rain.
Blue rain.blue rain.
I remember you all alone, walking on,
And crying,losing you,
In the blue blue rain.

Patches Of

patches of sunlight,
patches of clouds.
patches of Jesus,
patches of doubt.

patches of joy,
patches of pain.
patches of hope,
patches of strain.

patches of tomorrow,
patches of today.
patches of forever,
patches of 'cant stay'!

patches of loving,
patches of cold.
patches of youth,
patches of old.

patches of bravery.
patches of fear.
patches of happiness,
patches of tears.

patches of life,
patches of death.
patches of trying
with your last breath!

Blank Walls

it is time to have blank walls
something to start with
where you are more careful with
what to write and
what to draw

you think twice, thrice
before you start your scribbles for
you once drew a cat
and it didn't work well with the dog
which she drew first

you should have talked to her
so everything that you plan
to put on this blank wall
might as well have harmony

& peace & beauty, like the way
she painted her own blank space
with all black colors, and she gave you
an impression of the darkest night

you tried to put some stars and
a full moon to brighten the darkness
of her thoughts, and perspectives

she did not like it
she was in deep mourning, she was very sad
depressed with what happened
when she was a young girl in their house

she set aside the stars and she told you she hated the moon
and you kept your silence and opted to put there the whispers of
wind and the hush of the sea

again she did not like it
the wind made her vomit and the sea made her very sick till

you finally gave up
with the way the blank wall had been painted
and the manner by which she wanted to take it all to herself
you know what was really proper

you said there is still a blue boat on the blank wall
and it is leaving soon finding a new world..... now sailing on

We Are Dreams

Walk like children on river moonlight
Sovereign stars of infinite gentle topaz
She shines like spring waters
Laramie ribbons shoulder the dawn
Mountain mist with blue ice eyes
Drink from streams with no adultery
Inspiration from the winter sun
Green peppermint dreams
Purple dresses swoon the market
No twisted thorns shall ruin the day
Gifts of joy swell the river

Diamond smiles circle the night
Dusk has no war only ships of peace
Gardens march like childhood
Naïve blue sky speaks softly
The bass is deep like a galaxy
Wings bright as mellow gold
A voice of wisdom shall prevail
Lets wear flowers that sing
The shore brings scallion colors
We are revealed in naked mercy
The ages live like rainbows

Streets dance with embroidered sage
Aspen gather the singing stars
Made by fire in the ancient ways
Seeds with trees of angels
Growing in free gardens of peace
Tribes of gardens will win
No fear shall stand against love
We are the unorganized momentum
Turquoise grows like innocence
Isn’t it beautiful to feel the universe?
Rejoice amidst your eternal friends

We come up from the strange sea
Revel in the haunting wind
Eons sail in the pirate rainbows
Remember every tender touch
Every vibration sent by love
Shells with pink dawns sing
Time melts like centuries flow
We gather roses of mystical suns
Radiant waves sigh with stars
Paint your crayon hearts
We are dreams of infinite today

Wish You Were Here

I dig my toes into the sand
The ocean looks like
A thousand diamonds
Strewn across a blue blanket
I lean against the wind
Pretend that i am weightless
And in this moment
I am happy, happy
I, wish you were here
I, wish you were here
I, wish you were here
I, wish you were
Here
I lay my head onto the sand
The sky resembles
A backlit canopy
With holes punched in it
I'm counting ufos
I signal them with
My lighter
And in this moment
I am happy, happy
I, wish you were here
I, wish you were here
I, wish you were
Here
Wish you were here
I, oh
The world's a rollercoaster
And i am not strapped in
Maybe i should hold with care
While my hands are
Busy in the air
Saying
I, wish you were here
I, wish you were
I, wish you were here
I, wish you were here
I, wish you were
Here
Wish you were here

Follow Your Rainbow

Go and follow your rainbow
travel it from end to end.

Go see just what awaits you
in the colors of the beams it sends.

The reds and blues the greens and yellows
purple, orange and pinks.

There is every color God has made
all you could ever envision, or even think!

God's paint brushes dipped in colors
mixed and blended until just right.

Then He places a rainbow after every storm
each one, for mankind's hearts delight.

The Sky and The Sea

They are so similar; the sky and the sea,
Each day the sun rises on both of them with glee.

As the sun rises high in the sky,
It immerses itself into the depths of the sea.

The clouds for one are waves for another,
They reflect faithfully: each others bother.

Every evening as the sun slips away to rest,
Both are tinged with red in the west.

With a million stars twinkling on them,
Both are in blue drenched.

Merciful are they as they house creatures,
Although they do sometimes show their wicked features.

But all of these similarities are a waste,
Because they can never meet: neither in leisure nor in haste.

They do seem to meet at the horizon,
Enlightened each day by the rising and setting sun.

Yet between them there is a distance,
A distance which is even on the horizon immense.

Knowing all of this the sea loves the sky,
Rising each day to meet him but still shy.

The sky loving the space rises higher every moment,
The sea still rises higher and higher with every second spent.

The sea for the sky loses its very existence,
The sea fosters her love and her spirit itself mends.

She knows that the sky won’t be with the void together,
Yet she rises each day with all the strength mustered.

One fine day she realizes that the sky is out of bounds for her,
That is the day she shatters.

Unable to meet her love she turns to the dust,
She lays on it her burden and loses life as she must.

She isn’t lucky as she won’t get to die,
She’ll be made to fall back as rain and love the sky.

The rain is also the tears of the sky’
Unable to reach the space he himself has to cry.

The sea now has been broken along with the sky,
Both of them had thought “My love has to rise high”.

Whose love has risen higher, it remains a mystery,
But as long as both exist it will not become history.

Smile For Tomorrow

Cry silently through the night
In cloak of dark and dim lights
And pour the pain in endless drops
When morning comes it will just stop.

Tears were made to wash the pain
Restore the shattered heart again
For though tonight there's drowning sorrow
All days don't rain, there's sun tomorrow.

For Love is a rainbow after the rain
Will come and embrace you once again
Perennial as the green grass grows
Your smile awaits a bright tomorrow.

Over The Rainbow

The morning rays of the Sun cling
On the upper bow of the Rainbow
Emerge after a moment ‘s dusk
Brown Pelicans and Western Gulls
Fly beneath the lower bow
That touches the water
Send fishes into hiding

As I walk along the white beach
Looking at the sea, the blue waters
Dance its way towards the golden sand
Shy away from the smiling horizon
Once, in a jubilant second, vessels across,
Scream their hearts out,
Ignite the nature’s garland
The Princess of the Sea,
Colorful as Galaxies dust
Catches watchful eyes off-guard

The seven colors spectrum is the senses
Nourishes the need and desire
Like a prism, it passes through every heart
Leaving the lights of absolution
Windward and crystallize

Red, orange, yellow
Life and love bestows
Green, blue, indigo
Ships of love embargo
Engaged for passion
Violet
Rhymes like couplet
One kiss,
Over the rainbow
Breaches the distance
Between friendship
And love

Clear Skies

clear skies sometimes
like a blank sheet of paper
without a mark
like a YM without a message
like a poem without a comment
like a day without any hello

clear skies sometimes

but mostly blue clouds
and dark clouds come as nature's
guests and you begin
to like them and they become
so ordinary

a common day for you

learning to live just the
way nature does it
for you and you
say nothing at all

Blanket

Let not vanish the oversea service
With wool soft,
As the flash of fire-worms.
On the blue blanket,
‘Made in Korea’ printed,
Made Korean hands immortal,
But ‘SHEEP’ written nowhere.

As December threatened with mist,
Blanket kept me warm.
My soul shuddered a night,
Shaken by the fever storm,
And I crept tired,
Under blanket refugee like,
Then a Paracetamol pill lulled me.

Under the woolly blanket,
Bloom dreams amorous
At silvered fragrant night:
Entangled tender branches,
Then did chit bud fresh,
Within the folds unruly
Of the blanket blue.

Simple sheep on hillock grazed,
Giving wool great,
Eternal changed:
Things simple so changed great.
Evil showers heavily,
Earth is frozen,
And need a blanket to warm up.

Ocean Mist, This One Blurs Me, Misty Eyed On The Beach

well here we are,
in the middle of this ocean
of our respective
existences,

you are on your own
now,
i sail too,
this trip of mine
we catch a
glimpse
of the coming rain, the clouds thickening
over the sea
the horizon blurring
with mists,

like cold smoke
rising from the ice
of our glass filled
with sparkling
wine

we are in this foggy
part of
our thinking
you puzzle me
i like to think some more

who can you be
now infected by
yours truly
writing poetry
as you hide
in the thick ocean mist

blue haze
above salt
reducing
visibility

let nature spray some more
mist
like perfume in her handkerchief

dim like some dead stars
and darken
this universe
obscure the moon
blur my senses
i will try
seeing you
and your shadow
sweet
to my expectancies
of a disciple
draining some thoughts
of your past

let the mist of ignorance
dissolve in sunshine
let the haze of our eyes
clear a little bit
with our touch
to the truth
suspend impression
like liquid in gas

pour more liquor
over cracked ice
so i can have a
good sense of
your blue mist

a vaporizer can do more
adding moisture
to the air we want
to breathe
these harsh times
rain in very fine drops;

drizzle, do not fizzle
diffuse yourself finely
like a jet of water

replacing what humanity
lost

let us moisten with mist
this dryness of our
own distant worlds

ocean mist
i have a name, it is put alive
in the serving of
ice cubes on clear glass
soon hear the voices
of cracks

Flying without wings

i could surf the sky without my wings,
yes i can reach the sky with your blue eyes
moon, if only you believe in me

i don't even needs a wings to dive, when
i know that your are there, ready to catch
me when everything is on high

i know i can tell you that beyond that dark
clouds, you still awaits me in the shadow
of that sky

i can now ask, the reason why when iam
almost there i heard an alluring voice of
sound asking me to lay my wings

i know where my heart tremble, shaking
shouting for joy, for where ever i close my
eyes my ears listen to your voice of love

tell me then if my soul echo in a distance
land who reveals the melody of my heart,
and the spirit of your wings lingers on beneath
the horizon of my heaven

come my wings, fly and bring me to the
place where no wind could blew my dream
for only in you i will hold on to the sky of
dreams

Juilet

See the girl with the changing faces
See the boy with the aching smile
Empty love's burned out traces
See them walking down midnight mile
Juliet look what love has done to you
Juliet love has made a fool of you
Watch them dancing on a frozen ocean
See them skate where the ice is thin
Empty love that's a cold emotion
See the tears falling in the rain
Juliet look what love has done to you
Juliet love has made a fool of you
Juliet look what love has done to you
Juliet love has made a fool of you
See the mist on the magic mountain
Watch the moon in a blood red sky
Empty love that's a dried up fountain
Never change and never ask him why
Juliet look what love has done to you
Juliet love has made a fool of you.

In The Virgins

You can't put in the ground swell of the organ
from the Christiansted, St.Croix, Anglican Church
behind the paratrooper's voice: 'Turned cop
after Vietnam. I made thirty jumps.'
Bells punish the dead street and pigeons lurch
from the stone belfry, opening their chutes,
circling until the rings of ringing stop.
'Salud!' The paratrooper's glass is raised.
The congregation rises to its feet
like a patrol, with scuffling shoes and boots,
repeating orders as the organ thumps:
'Praise Ye the Lord. The Lord's name be praised.'

You cannot hear, beyond the quiet harbor,
the breakers cannonading on the bruised
horizon, or the charter engines gunning for
Buck Island. The only war here is a war
of silence between blue sky and sea,
and just one voice, the marching choir's, is raised
to draft new conscripts with the ancient cry
of 'Onward, Christian Soldiers,' into pews
half-empty still, or like a glass, half-full.
Pinning itself to a cornice, a gull
hangs like a medal from the serge-blue sky.

Are these boats all? Is the blue water all?
The rocks surpliced with lace where they are moored,
dinghy, catamaran, and racing yawl,
nodding to the ground swell of 'Praise the Lord'?
Wesley and Watts, their evangelical light
lanced down the mine shafts to our chapel pew,
its beam gritted with motes of anthracite
that drifted on us in our chapel benches:
from God's slow-grinding mills in Lancashire,
ash on the dead mired in Flanders' trenches,
as a gray drizzle now defiles the view

of this blue harbor, framed in windows where
two yellow palm fronds, jerked by the wind's rain,
agree like horses' necks, and nodding bear,
slow as a hearse, a haze of tasseled rain,
and, as the weather changes in a child,
the paradisal day outside grows dark,
the yachts flutter like moths in a gray jar,
the martial voices fade in thunder, while
across the harbor, like a timid lure,
a rainbow casts its seven-colored arc.

Tonight, now Sunday has been put to rest.
Altar lights ride the black glass where the yachts
stiffly repeat themselves and phosphoresce
with every ripple - the wide parking-lots
of tidal affluence - and every mast
sways the night's dial as its needle veers
to find the station which is truly peace.
Like neon lasers shot across the bars
discos blast out the music of the spheres,
and, one by one, science infects the stars.

A morning canvas

A morning canvas
~
The clarity of a clear blue morning sky
like the emptiness of a blank canvas
invites the mind to wander on the day
what will be writ, what shall be seen
the serenade of birdsong in the breeze
softly, sweetly awakens the world
here a resolute beauty is found
and a heart invited to sing of love
let the day be won with hope and faith
let friends, family and lovers know
that this is a day to be owned
how thoughts come to a forefront
in the light the rising dawn
expressed without reluctance
upon the waiting canvas
in the clarity of a blue morning sky
this is a day to be alive
