The Peace Maker
It has a “point” of neither sex
But comes in guise of both,
And, doubly dangerous complex,
It is a thing to loathe—
A lady with her sweet, sad smile,
A gentleman on oath.
Strip off the mother-veil, and fur!
And signs of “quiet taste”.
The dead child’s locket take from her
(The dead man’s gift in haste)
And wash from every evil line
The layers of filling paste!
From “saddened eyes” the hell’s own glare!
From “sweet mouth” blasphemy!
Wrench out the gold-filled false teeth there
That twice mock honesty,
And leave the evil face awry
For married folk to see.
For foolish girl wives in despair,
For men’s and children’s sakes,
Let loose the glossed and padded hair
To writhe like scorching snakes!
And strip the barren body bare
To show what Satan makes.
Aye! I could take her by the throat
More sure than hangman’s noose,
And set my teeth and set my nails,
And hate would set my thews.
And fling her to the drought-starved swine,
Were all my brethren Jews.
There was the kindest man I knew,
Brave, handsome, straight and tall—
Between his loved ones and the world
He stood, a fortress wall.
He whines, a ruined drunkard now,
And this thing did it all.
There was the girl who married me
And bore my children twain,
We’ll never meet each other’s eyes
Like boy and girl again.
The very children’s love and trust
By this foul thing was slain.
There was a girl my manhood loved,
She’d Love’s own red gold hair,
And grey eyes that were Pity’s own
And courage that was rare.
She sleeps amongst the suicides,
And this thing sent her there.
And all because the town was dull
And goodness was too tame,
And people took no interest
In one they could not blame.
And all because my life was clean
And I had won a name.
And now, for years of senseless hate
And paltry, bitter strife,
For “reparation” come too late,
For sweetheart, mate and wife,
I tread her vile heart in the dust
And ashes of my life.

The Death of Lesbia’s Sparrow
Mourn, O you Loves and Cupids
and such of you as love beauty:
my girl’s sparrow is dead,
sparrow, the girl’s delight,
whom she loved more than her eyes.
For he was sweet as honey, and knew her
as well as the girl her own mother,
he never moved from her lap,
but, hopping about here and there,
chirped to his mistress alone.
Now he goes down the shadowy road
from which they say no one returns.
Now let evil be yours, evil shadows of Orcus,
that devour everything of beauty:
you’ve stolen lovely sparrow from me.
O evil deed! O poor little sparrow!
Now, by your efforts, my girl’s eyes
are swollen and red with weeping.

A Girl Named Paige
A girl named Paige
With eyes and a face so bright
A girl named Paige
Came into my dreary life
My life, so dark
So full of strife
A girl named Paige
About her I was told
To keep me away until I was old
A girl named Paige
A lesson she did teach
For me to keep sight of my reach
A girl named Paige
Broke my heart
As my world fell apart
A girl named Paige
Perfectly took the part
While adding another fool to her cart
A girl named Paige
Shook my whole world
My eyes were on no other girl
A girl named Paige
Fooled me into loving her
While she secretly lusted another, and another
A girl named Paige
Caused me endless pain
Of this, I'm not ashamed
A girl named Paige
Made me go insane
This girl is love's bane
A girl named Paige
Caused me to do so much
To love her such
A girl named Paige
Made my heart bleed
The woe of pain it did heed
A girl named Paige
I'll never be the same
In that group, she came
A girl named Paige
I loved a whole whole lot
A feeling she returned, did not
A girl named Paige
Others showed me how she was
She screws around just because
A girl named Paige
Has had several boyfriends
She shares between her and her best friend
A girl named Paige
Is sleeping around
Like her mother, she's been around town
A girl named Paige
Has 4 sisters
If you see her vermin family, you surely won't miss her
A girl named Paige
I felt so much emotion
Caused so much devastation
A girl named Paige
Fooled me she loved me so
She can't fool anyone no more
A girl named Paige
Has no future for her
She'll be working as a stripper
A girl named Paige
Will have a horrible existence
For her whole being is full of pestilence
A girl named Paige
Makes you love
A false gift from above
A girl named Paige
Should be gone from this world
She gives a bad name to all other girls
For Paige G.

Without Love
I awakened this morning, I was filled with despair
All my dreams turned to ashes and gone, oh yeah
As I looked at my life it was barren and bare
Without love I've had nothing at all
Without love I've had nothing
Without love I've had nothing at all
I have conquered the world
All but one thing did I have
Without love I've had nothing at all
Once I had a sweetheart who loved only me
There was nothing, oh that she would not give, oh no
But I was blind to her goodness and I could not see
That a heart without love cannot live
Without love I've had nothing
Without love I've had nothing at all
I have conquered the world
All but one thing did I have
Without love I've had nothing at all

Married Men
(bugatti - musker)
Producers for bonnie: ronnie scott, steve wolfe
Bonnie recorded this song in 1979 for the film the world is full of married men. the lyrics are taken from the japanese single.
The world is full of married men
With wives who never understand
Theyre looking for someone to share
The excitement of a love affair
Just as soon as they find you
They wine you and dine you
You fly on the wings of romance
But in the eyes of the world
Youre just another crazy girl
Who loves a married man
Oh your love is a secret
And youve got to keep it
As long as you can
No dont cry for your lover
Theres always another married man
The world is full of married men
Oh yeah you make him feel so young
But his wife will still be number one
He promises to marry you
Just as soon as his divorce
Comes through
And its not just a fling
He swears its the real thing
A love that could last till the end
As hes driving away
You know its true what they say
About married men
They do it, they do it, they do it
They do it again and again
They do it, they do it, they do it
They do it, married men
Oh hell run when the scandal
Gets too hot to handle
Hell say I just want to be friends
They hell walk out of your life
Hell go home to his wife
cause hes a married man
Oh your love is a secret
And youve got to keep it
As long as you can
No dont cry for your lover
Theres always another married man
The world is full of married men
They do it, they do it, they do it
They do it again and again
They do it, they do it, they do it
They do it, married men
Hell walk out of your life
And go home to his wife
A married man
Dont cry for your lover
Theres always another married man
They do it, they do it, they do it
They do it again and again
They do it, they do it, they do it
They do it, married men....repeat and fade

Lesbia’s Sparrow
All you Loves and Cupids cry
and all you men of feeling
my girl’s sparrow is dead,
my girl’s beloved sparrow.
She loved him more than herself.
He was sweeter than honey, and he
knew her, as she knows her mother.
He never flew out of her lap,
but, hopping about here and there,
just chirped to his lady, alone.
Now he is flying the dark
no one ever returns from.
Evil to you, evil Shades
of Orcus, destroyers of beauty.
You have stolen the beautiful sparrow from me.
Oh sad day! Oh poor little sparrow!
Because of you my sweet girl’s eyes
are red with weeping, and swollen.

Jealous Girl
Fellas
Theres a jealous girl in our town
Ohh, baby
Fellas
Theres a jealous girl in our town
Ohh, baby
I know you feel about
Me and my girl
But I gave you the first chance to
Be in my world
Now you are saying things
To keep us apart
You had the very chance to
Be in my heart
When I loved you, you didnt love me
Our love had no unity
All you ever told me were lies
Its my girl I know you despise
Fellas
Theres a jealous girl in our town
Ohh, baby
Fellas
Theres a jealous girl in our town
Ohh, baby
Girl I really hope you find another
I just cant take no more
Of you tryin to be my lover
(ooh)
You see
Ive got what I want
And what I need
So girl
Wont you please try
Just to leave
When I loved you, you didnt love me
Our love had no unity
All you ever told me were lies
Its my girl I know you despise
Fellas
Theres a jealous girl in our town
Ohh, baby
Fellas
Theres a jealous girl in our town
Ohh, baby
(oooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh)
Theres a jealous girl
In our town
Theres a jealous girl
In our town
Theres a jealous girl
In our town
Theres a jealous girl
In our town
(spoken- mike):
Hey girl
(hey girl)
Why are you so jealous?
I mean, you had your chance
If you loved me so much, you wouldnt let me go
(let me go)
Face it girl
Its time for someone else
All those times when I tried to show you how much I loved you
And how much I cared for you
You never seemed to have the time
(I let go)
Girl its hurtin me
As much as its hurtin you
But thats just how life goes
You win some
You lose some
Sweatheart
Point blank
You lost this one
I just wanna let you know that its hurting me so
Girl I just had to let you go
Theres a jealous girl
In our town
And its you
Girl its you
Theres a jealous girl
In our town
Theres a jealous girl
In our town
Theres a jealous girl
In our town

love Died Young
They met at the local library
One cold wintry day
They had nice conversation
And later met again at
A local party
He had hair of black
Blue eyes and a lovely smile
He was so handsome in her eyes
Her hair was golden like wheat
Her eyes were emerald green
Her beauty was rare
He adored her
They dated for 2 years
Then one day he fell to his
Knees all pride pushed aside
And he asked her to become his wife
She gratefully accepted his proposal
With God as the witness that day
Three years have passed
Two children came to them
A blessing from God
A boy and a girl-twins they were
Then three years later
The wife falls to the floor
She weakly said: “I am ok now” as
A hand was extended to help her to her feet
After the doctor’s exam
She was told she had a short
Time to live for she could not be healed
Love so young how could this be?
Her husband and two small children struggled
Wondering how could God let such a terrible thing
Happen to such a good family
Love died so young the husband
And children found strength to carry on
The mother lives on through them all
But how they long to find out in the end
Why love had to die so young?

Swan Song
Her hair was as black as a starling's tail,
Her cheeks as pale as a swan,
Her eyes, like two slim moonstones, glowed
And her mouth was the Holy Grail.
She'd played in the dirt of the village street
So long ago, so long...
She'd swum in the pools of the mountain stream,
But now, that girl had gone.
While I still rise with the early bird
To tend to my father's fields,
As the only son of an only son
I watched the woman leave.
She cried sweet tears as she said farewell
And vowed to come back, and soon,
But the village streets of a western town
Hold nothing for Ling Xiaodan.
The weeks went by, then the months and years
And I heard of her now and then,
She was dressed in expensive clothes, I heard,
She was driving a shiny car;
She was seen at the Beijing Opera
By a man who worked at the door,
'She glided by like a Queen, ' he said,
'As her dress trailed long on the floor.'
And her wai po, down in the village square
Would brag of her daughter's girl,
'She will snare some man with a million yuan, '
She said, 'not a farmer's son.
Go home to your fields and forget her now,
She's not for an also-ran! '
And laughed, as the tears sprang into my eyes
For the love of Ling Xiaodan.
She came back once to the village street
To her home, as ever we must,
But carefully held her dress up high
To avoid the rubbish and dust,
I stood at the side and she looked at me,
Then turned, looked quickly away,
For Ling Xiaodan and a farmer's son
Had nothing at all to say.
But I saw her once before she left,
Alone by the mountain stream,
Her eyes were sorrowful, in remorse,
Remembering how we'd been.
'I loved you once, as a child, ' she said
'But the world is harsh, and grey...
We do what our fathers want us to,
And my father sent me away.'
I sat by her then, and held her hand,
Stroking her neck, and hair,
And kissed the cheek, so pale and wan,
And I cried in a deep despair.
'You must get on with your life, ' she said,
'Get a wife and a baby son;
I leave tomorrow to see the man
That my father has met in town.'
I heard that she'd wed a businessman,
And cried in the quiet gloom,
My dream had died by the mountain stream,
On that day, in the afternoon.
She worked in a shop her husband owned,
So they said, but I never heard
'Til the body was brought back home again,
That the love of my life was dead.
It seemed that she'd sold her favours there
In the rear of a grimy store,
To any man with the change to spare
While her husband played Mah Jongg.
He'd gambled his fortune, and lost it all
While his wife kept the fool from jail
With what she earned with her hands and hair,
And a mouth like the Holy Grail.
But then, a man who was ill or mad
Put his grimy hands at her throat,
And squeezed the life from the darling neck
That I'd once both loved, and stroked.
They buried her up on the mountainside
By the stream, in sight of her home,
And from where I stand in the paddy fields
I can see her pale white stone.
She'd played in the dirt of the village street
So long ago, so long...
She'd swum in the pools of the mountain stream,
But now, that girl had gone.
I married a woman I barely knew
And she bore me a black-haired girl,
With eyes like two slim moonstones, and...
A mouth like the Holy Grail.

Love The Way
Oh, her eyes, her eyes make the stars look
like they're not shinin'
Her hair, her hair falls perfectly without her
tryin'
She's so beautiful
And I tell her everyday
Yeah, I know, I know when I compliment
her, she won't believe me
And it's so, it's so sad to think that she
don't see what I see
But every time she asks me do I look okay?
I say
When I see your face
There's not a thing that I would change
'Cause you're amazing
Just the way you are
And when you smile
The whole world stops and stares for
awhile
'Cause girl, you're amazing
Just love the way you are
She's so beautiful
And I tell her everyday
Oh, you know, you know, you know I'd
never ask you to change
If perfect's what you're searching for, then
just stay the same
So don't even bother asking if you look
okay
You know I'll say
When I see your face
There's not a thing that I would change
'Cause you're amazing
Just the way you are
And when you smile
The whole world stops and stares for
awhile
'Cause girl, you're amazing
Just the way you are
The way you are
The way you are
Girl, you're amazing
Just the way you are
When I see your face
There's not a thing that I would change
'Cause you're amazing girl
love the way you are

I met the girl with the world inside her head
I met the girl with the world inside her head
She said “ it will be safe there”
And I just knew that I could trust her
I met the father of the girl with the world inside her head
He said “I gave her the world because I made her a promise”
And I just had to look up to him
I met the mother of the girl with the world inside her head
She told me that she had married the right man
And it sounded like she always knew she would
I took the girl with the world inside her head to the next town
She told me “ I feel I must close me eyes and I must not listen”
And we sat in silence
I married the girl with the world inside her head
We lived a perfect life
And I just knew it would turn out that way
I fathered the child of the girl with the world inside her head
I am reassured that our child will be safe with us
And I never really imagined anything different
I looked upon the mother who gave everything to the child
Until the day she died
Until the day the child asked for the world
In grief I looked upon the world and cursed it

Who is the girl?
Who is the girl you look with gentle eyes
Who is the girl you ghostly smile
I want to know, I want to know
Before I leave myself into sorrow
Who is the lucky girl that will have you forever
Who is the pretty girl that holds your heart in her fire
I want to know, I want to know
Before I throw myself to the river
I will envy, I will be the demon of love
But my greatest regret is why I fall to you
I will hate her, I will shed lots of tear
But in the end I always let you go
Because it is the girl you protect sacredly
Because it is the girl you love deeply
I want to know, I want to know
Don’t make me die in curiosity
Tell me the girl that gives you happiness
Tell me the girl that also makes you despair
I want to know, I want to know
Just let me be the only one who have this misery

Over-Heard Conversations at the Party
'I'm not really fat' he said
'I am anorexic,
just not very good at it.'
'I can't keep a girl friend
I am too, uh, big down there
they say it hurts.'
'You expect me to believe this line? '
'I didn't say I loved you
I said I often think of you.
That's what I said.'
'I have to give up drugs
I am hallucinating
the girl of my dreams.'
So I told her it was ok
she could sleep with him
but she would have to pay
for that pair of shoes
we saw at Nordstrum's.'
'So my Dad says
'All I am asking for
is a Some Sex Marriage.'
So he says he is not gay
he just likes men.
I thew up on him
and he was so sweet
he wiped it off
and I tipped him a dollar.
And then I found out
that the tattoo
he put on my butt
was his ex-girl friend.
Girl, he is ugly
-no way around the facts-
unless you saying
he is packing.
She stood there
and let all the men
get a good look
at her cleavage.
How can you compete
with that?
I don't really read books
and stuff like that
takes too long.
I told him he never
listens to me
and he said
'What? '
I don't know,
the honeymoon
was a disaster;
we made love
for only about five hours
and he started complaining
about his back.
What's your name again?
'You got a girlfriend? '
'Yes' she said.
So he heard us making love
on the answering machine-
the thing was on room monitor.
I told him the baby was his.
Couldn't sleep at all last night-
Vibrator ran out of batteries.
So he said
'You are bleeding.
Is that normal?
'Normal' I said
Bleeding?
And then I passed out.
Well he is very tall,
got big feet,
a big nose.
and bedroom eyes
All the things I need right now.
I had to set him free.
Hard to be with a man
prettier than you.
I hate these parties
and the food is bad.
Don't know why I come.
'I do love you
its just that I don't want
you to think that means
we will get married.'
'The last thing in the world I
need right now is for someone
to fall in love with me and
find out that I was not worth
falling in love with.'
'It was easy. I told him
he was superman man in my eyes.
And then a year later I said
if you are superman
why haven't you solved all of my problems.?
He had no answer.
And then I said
'You are a superman fraud'

A Lonley Girls Wishes
a lonley girl wishes for one thing,
and one thing only,
to end her life,
only one person can changer her mind,
her lover,
because a lonley girl wishes for,
someone who can love her without being told,
someone who is warm and not cold,
a lonley girl wishes to be treated like gold,
they want to be loved,
they want to be held,
a lonley girl wishes to be out of danger zones,
they want no more than to die or be loved,
i would know,
i am a lonley girl and these are my wishes.

The Perfect Girl For Me :)
the girl i want in my life is...
a girl that would love me...
a girl that would never leave me...
a girl that is sweet...
a girl that thinks about there cowboy every night...
a girl that will never turn on you in the time of need...
a girl that is never afraid to smile while we dance...
a girl that never lies...
a girl that will laugh and not be shy in talking about something...
a girl thats not afraid to show there emotions...
a girl that will be there no matter what happenes to me...
a girl that will make me smile...
a girl that wont use me...
a girl that is willing to be there for the rest of my life...

Girl I Hate
I don't wanna sing
the song that makes me...
Fall in love
with the girl I hate...
The very last thing
that I would be thinking…
Is to be in love
with the girl I hate…
My time is not so bad
that I would pen down a song for the girl…
Whose presence makes me go wild
searching for some peace of mind…
I don't wanna write
words of love…
For the girl who changes
my life to hell…
There is no reason why
I should be thinking of…
Sharing my thoughts
with the girl I hate…

Don’t Little Girl
Don’t fall little girl
Don’t let them see you cry
Stand tall little girl
Keep your head held high
-
Don’t express little girl
Don’t let them see the pain in your eyes
Walk on little girl
Walk through all those pitiful lies
-
Don’t forget little girl
Don’t let them do it to you once more
Protect yourself little girl
There’s plenty more in store
-
Don’t hate little girl
That’s what they want you to do, they want to break you
Smile bright little girl, show them up
Try you’re hardest to be true
-
Don’t wait little girl
The world will move on without you
Move on little girl
Do what you need to do
-
Don’t look back little girl
You can’t change your past
Open your eyes little girl
Enjoy the world while it lasts
-
Live life little girl
Cause you only got one
Laugh loudly little girl
-
You’re you little girl
Haven’t you learned a lot?
But you’re also them little girl
In each of us you have fought
-
Some call you hope, little girl
You glow dim then turn bright
Some call you dreams, little girl
I know you are my dreams, I think of you every night
-
But to me, little girl
You will always just be mine
Guide us, little girl
Cause we both just want to be free

4 Year Girl
A four year girl i knew
This thing we had of truth
Somehow our spirits where alike
Much had we weathered for each other
The four year girl i knew
Could turn your eye if she smiled
Oh how i loved that girl
When she liked smiling at me
A four year girl i knew
Showed me who she was
Did it hurt you like it hurt me
The trust laid just as deep as the lies?
The four year girl i knew
How could i have been so naive
How could she have fooled everybody
Without telling one lie
A four year girl i knew
I spent four years falling for
And in four days lost the girl
And walked away with a heart
Screaming with pain (for)
The four year girl i knew
Why cant my heart bare the change
Of four years in four days
