I May Be Lying In The Gutter
Hostility blocking my dreams
Tears, tears, I cried
My biggest fears it seems
Who I am deep inside.
On a night like this
My mind searches
The depths of reality
While darkness lurches.
Finishing a journey in my life
What’s ahead I do not know
Where uncertainty is rife
Forward, forward, I must go.
I may be lying in the gutter
But I’m looking up at the stars
Away with my pride I utter
Deep inside is full of scars.

My endless journey.........
I am fed up with dreams of my future
I want reality in my life with love
Looking forward to end my troubles
But life seems to be endless journey
I want to drift through eternity
I want to see the light that brightens me
Looking forward to end my fear
But life seems to be endless journey
I want to bury my worries forever
I want to draw the power from my soul

Rolling In The Deep
There's a fire starting in my heart
Reaching a fever pitch, it's bringing me out
the dark
Finally I can see you crystal clear
Go 'head and sell me out and I'll lay your
ship [shit] bare
See how I leave with every piece of you
Don't underestimate the things that I will
do
There's a fire starting in my heart
Reaching a fever pitch
And it's bringing me out the dark
The scars of your love remind me of us
They keep me thinking that we almost had
it all
The scars of your love, they leave me
breathless
I can't help feeling
We could have had it all
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
Rolling in the deep
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
You had my heart inside of your hand
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
And you played it, to the beat
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
Baby, I have no story to be told
But I've heard one on you
And I'm gonna make your head burn
Think of me in the depths of your despair
Make a home down there
As mine sure won't be shared
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
The scars of your love remind me of us
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
They keep me thinking that we almost had
it all
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
The scars of your love, they leave me
breathless
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
I can't help feeling
We could have had it all
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
Rolling in the deep
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
You had my heart inside of your hand
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
And you played it, to the beat
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
We could have had it all
Rolling in the deep
You had my heart inside of your hand
But you played it, with a beating
Throw your soul through every open door
You'll pay me back in kind and reap just
what you sow (woah)
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
We could have had it all
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
We could have had it all
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
It all, it all, it all
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
We could have had it all
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
Rolling in the deep
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
You had my heart inside of your hand
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
And you played it to the beat
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
We could have had it all
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
Rolling in the deep
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
You had my heart inside of your hand
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
But you played it
You played it
You played it
You played it to the beat.

Journey With My Wife
Now finishing a journey with my wife, one in which uncertainty is rife,
All that’s ahead, we may not know, but forward together we must go,
Now my wife of twenty-eight years, we can face challenge and fears,
For we don’t walk this path alone, but together in Christ we’ve grown.
We’ve been together all this time, not thru chance, but God’s design,
Which has allowed this in our life, and so, together we trust in Christ,
The One, Who will see us through, guiding everything we need to do,
The Lord God, Who made us one, has decreed our path, by His Son.
Though the road ahead is long, God’s chosen ways are never wrong,
Although we may not understand, in God’s Grace, we take our stand,
Holding firm to what is understood; what God allows is for our good,
The good, we now may not see, and so we trust The God of Eternity.
Now as one flesh we’re both there, to carry the burdens and to share,
The hurt and pain along the way, as concerns, at Christ’s feet, we lay,
Knowing that we’re not in this alone, we lift our cares up to the throne,
Up to our Father’s Throne of Grace, for all undue cares, He can erase.
God shall finish what He started, with comfort as we’re heavyhearted,
When darkness does pervade our life, we have light thru Jesus Christ,
Who guides us from the start my friend, through to the very utter end,
And as members of God’s Family, we’ll be together for all of Eternity.

Feel the need to wonder
Inside
Fulfill your basic needs
Deep inside
We wander by the lake of tears
And smell the odor of our fear
Inside
Deep inside
All these creepy things crawling
Deep inside
Feel the urge to grow
Inside
Our world is covered with clouds
Deep inside
We wander by our ocean of tears
We try to hide our frozen fear
Inside
Deep inside
All these creepy things crawling
Deep inside

Smile is hidden deep in tears
so let the tears flow in path of dreams
it will flood the dry land of fears
and will heal the scars of wounded years
Smile not just to me but to all you can see
spread the wings of hope and fly freely
to the heaven above leave the land of worry
to the thirsty sand pour your tears gently
Your smile gives reasons for tomorrow
to bright the sun and whisper to wind to blow
just smile and wait to fear to frown
to shine the moon and light the stars in glow
Your smile is written in a cold moonlight
your smile is a pearl in a warm seashore sand
your smile is a star in a stormy night
your smile is every beat deep inside my heart

Lying Still
She came thru the door round my place
She was not the same
I reached out my hand to touch her face
She turned her head away
Her words flew in empty circles
Reasons unexplained
I saw that her thoughts were somewhere else
We made love anyway
Lying still in your arms
And the tears came down
She cried her pain
And like the rain that draws a cloud across the sun
The tears flow on
She cried the pain she felt inside
As night touched the sky with moonglow
She opened up her heart
The tides of emotions ebb and flow
Washing us apart
We talked thru the night in whispers
As the silent city lay
Reasons she gave cut deep and hard
The dawn broke angry grey
Lying still in your arms
Heartbeats cold
She cried my pain
Like thunder rolling thru an aching winter sky
Heartbeats cold
Her pain
Lying still in your arms
But the tears came down
She cried my pain
And like the rain that draws a cloud across the sun
The tears flow on
She cried the pain I felt inside
The future dissolves in the tears
The morning surrenders the years
How can you say our love wasnt real
When I can see how you feel
Another time
Another place
I wont cry for her
No more
The days go on
But the nights are long
Ill remember her
For sure
Still in your arms

The Night I Cried
The night i cried
You weren't anymore there
Tears were heavy
No one asked me to share.
The night i cried
I cried whole night
Thinking of u my love
tears didn't stop a while.
The night i cried
I didn't want to cry
But i cried all night
still didn't know why.
The night i cried
I didn't wipe out my tears
I let them flow away
With the pain i preserved for years.
The night i cried
I silently sang something
That made me miss you more
Even more than i ever did.
The night i cried
My eyes couldn't sleep
My mind was going on asking me
Why i went so deep....

Innerspace
The moon was full last night
Enlightening the midnight sky-
My inner demons were dancing
Fighting ghosts from hell-
I tell myself
“Someday you will find peace of mind and
Someday you shall find yourself-“
I cannot recall the day
I had fallen off that mountain
I was climbing trying to gain control-
I found myself falling, falling and falling-
Into a prison where the floors were tiled,
Walls were white but stained-
I can still hear sirens screaming and the
Pounding upon the walls-
I remember that room
Inside which I was locked and blinded by
The darkness overshadowing-
I begged for help with my heart wide open-
Figuratively bleeding tears of despair- as I heard
Voices threatening to kill me-
Echoing about the chamber of madness
Inside of which I was trapped-
Miles from reality-this place where
Whereas a prisoner inside of my mind, I was climbing that stairway from hell-
With no destination,
Falling, falling and falling-
Into bedlam-
I can only recall
Lying upon a mattress sadly torn,
Springs jutting outward into my back as
My body rocked
Backward and forward
Backward and forward
With monotonous regularity-
The moon was full last night-
It has often been said allegorically that
People lose their sanity dancing beneath
The light of the moon-
Following the path of a comet in some
Figment of my imagination as
My search continues to find out who I am-
As the moon disappears on the horizon
The sun rises over the mountains-
I see the light-
I hear a voice-
All I can do is to keep on dancing-
Dancing as I hope that
My Dionysian spirit
Shall set me free someday…

Tears of Faith
Tears of faith
bounded me here
as life goes on
I hide myself
I know the world
has its hard days
holding all of us
with its own strength
we all try to be
the world
holding until we hurt
like shoe we wore out
Tears of faith
bounded me here
as life goes on
I find myself
Here in fear
trying, and trying
not to be sad
but to look
beyond reach
like the stars up in the sky.
Tears of faith
bound me here
telling me
that its time
to change
the page
but look forward
since the stars
look upon you
to guild there light
upon faith, hope and dreams.
tears of faith
are tears of joy
running away
from the darkness
that we fear
My Shadow
Things I have left behind
Within an effort to move forward,
Counting every minute, every second-
Reliving my life through every hour, day and year-
The night time sky is falling before my own eyes
Blocking the pathway before me, blinding me-
I cannot foresee a future-The rain that fell every time
I tried to venture outward,
Rain that transformed to tears
When all hope had ostensibly disappeared.
Things I have left behind-
Places where I had been locked inside,
Having lost grounds with all that is real-
Perhaps a few roses in a cracked vase by my bedside,
A mother that did not care and a father that did not believe-
When through my own eyes my world had fallen to pieces.
I left behind many people-
People I did not trust and it was then that I knew
I had to rebuild my foundation,
To build a future for myself that would be mine and mine alone-
Things I have left behind are now
Gone and gone forever-all that is left is time-
Time to move on and to bury the past in my back yard and
Search for hope, a purpose and a new reality.
These things I have left behind are sinking into the ground-
Now I can foresee a future- the flame on my candle is burning
Guiding me as I run forward into a garden of blossoming trees and
A paved pathway upon which to run forward- and a cloudless sky
Where I can lift my wings, once broken and are healing, and fly-
Fly high above looking down below at my newfound veracity-
I know if I were to take a look behind-
All I could see would be a shadow upon a sidewalk-
A shadow of my past and everybody knows that shadows don't last forever, and
All else that I have left behind is gone forever,
Looking forward at the allure of the springtime and
I see clearly now- there is no more rain and as I look above me
I can see trees seemingly touching the sun against a deep blue sky-
I can see clearly now because my eyes are open wide and
There are no tears to cry today and when I glance behind me-
All I see is a shadow- that shadow of my past, vanishing in the late spring's breeze-

I Cried Again
The little tear that fell down my cheek
drew an ocean to the people below
they swam and swam untill they go tired
then they went to the black of their homes
they cried themselves to sleep that night
in the heat of the night they did sleep
awaiting the sandman to come give them their dreams
and to dream a dream of the deep
the depth of the waters hidden inside my tears
creating the ocean of which they do swim
without them ill die a slow suicide
the droubt of the midst of my tears
waiting just waiting for the tears of the night
awaiting the pain of my cries
as if i dont cry ill simply just die
so i must keep bringng the tears
but tonight i tried to cry again
bringing the emotions of the past
watching and waiting, watching and waiting
of the little peoples dreaming to last
but they did not appear from the mist of my tears
they did not attract to the swimming
as if they had entered the door of my heart
swimming off all of the good feelings
stay little ones swim off my dreams, swim as if never felt water
my tears are now gone and no misses all along
just a smile blessed into deep slumber

Candle of Hope
Candle of Hope
Lost within space and time,
I am running, as I am
Following the stars before me-
Inside of my mind,
All I can see are moments of madness.
My hair, blowing in the wind, behind me, as I
Dash away from all that I fear,
My thoughts are far away from
Every moment in time,
As I am searching for a ray of hope to hold onto as
None of my dreams have ever
Come true-
If I could light a candle,
Perhaps its flame would guide me towards a miracle-
A miracle of my most promising fantasies becoming reality-
Where the darkness of night
Would transform to the levity of daybreak at sunrise-
I am lost in space and time, where
My world continues to darken-
Life has always been a bizarre journey for me where
Hope has yet to be found-
It is the stars that have given me an increment of light,
Illuminating a pathway before me, to give me
Some small hope that I would awaken
In some other world where
Love, fortune and peace of mind would
Overshadow mistrust and sadness-
I whisper in thought, somewhere in the back of my mind-
Light me a candle with a flame so bright,
That will break through dark clouds of doubt-
Whereby I would be running forward in time,
Finding wealth, joy, and hope never ending
As the flame on that candle
Would burn for an eternity
Only to guide me forward, not backward,
Leaving that life of misfortune behind me-

I Cried Away the Tears From My Eyes
I cried away the tears from my eyes.
Trying to minimize the hurt I felt inside.
I cried until my eyes had dripped and dried...
That night you walked out and said goodbye.
Making me to feel I had been downsized.
I cried away the tears from my eyes,
Connected to your leaving with a grieving underneath!
And rode it out the rest of the night...
Alone and knowing you were gone on your own.
And wouldn't be answering your telephone.
I cried away the tears from my eyes.
Trying to minimize the hurt I felt inside.
I cried until my eyes had dripped and dried...
That night you walked out and said goodbye.
Making me to feel I had been downsized.
Hoping one day I could apologize.
I cried away the tears from my eyes.
Hoping one day I could apologize.
Since you made me feel I had been downsized.
That night you walked out and said goodbye.
And I cried my eyes until they dripped and dried.
You came and maximized my whole life.
But you hit me in the gut with a sucker punch.
And caring less I'm in a mess,
Feeling much crunched.
I cried away the tears from my eyes.
Trying to minimize the hurt I felt inside.
I cried until my eyes had dripped and dried.
I cried away the tears from my eyes.
Trying to minimize the hurt I felt inside.
I cried until my eyes had dripped and dried.
Trying to minimize the hurt I felt inside.
I cried and cried until my eyes had dried!

Facing Love
As I look into the stars,
I drift back in time.
I see my dreams and my fears,
Things that were never mine.
I cry out to the moon,
Thinking god might hear.
Lord whipe away these hurtful tears.
The next night as I go back to
The field of soft grass,
Laying there after along day has passed.
Remembering the pain I felt deep inside.
Wanting to run somewhere far away to hide.
Low and behold what did I see,
That pain inside has vanished from me.
A small sweet voice had whispered to me,
Always remember, that I love thee.

Heart
There’s a place in my heart which is empty inside
A place in my heart where I try to hide
To hide from the pains that hurt me so
And I turn, but nowhere to go.
So I hide like the child deep inside
Who is afraid to take the step of a journey.
That may lead to better things in life
But refuses to make a sacrifice.
But the heart has a mechanism
which automatically protects
You from things that you fear
And takes you on a journey
To wipe away the tears.
Don’t ever hide from what
The heart may bring, because
Deep inside of us there s a voice that sings.

What I Really Meant To Say
It took me by surprise
when I saw you standing there
close enough to touch
breathing the same air
You asked me how I'd been
I guess that's when I smiled
and said 'Just fine'
oh but baby I was lying
What I really meant to say
is I'm dying here inside
and I miss you more each day
there's not a night I haven't cried
and baby here's the truth
I'm still in love with you
That's what I really meant to say
And as you walked away
the echo of my words
cut just like a knife
cut so deep it hurts
I held back the tears
held onto my pride
and watched you go
I wonder if you'll ever know
What I really meant to say
is I'm dying here inside
and I miss you more each day
there's not a night I haven't cried
and baby here's the truth
I'm still in love with you
What I really meant to say
is I'm really not that strong
no matter how I try
I'm still holding on
and here's the honest truth
I'm still in love with you
that's what I really meant to say
that's what I really meant to say
That's what I really meant to say

Scars
I once knew a girl.
Who forever had scars and cuts upon her arms.
Hope was insribed.
Not in the colour of ink.
But in the colours of the scars.
With stitches on her skin.
Plus tears in her eyes.
And bumpy scars.
Filled with hate and shame.
For whats she done.
But she'll do it again.
She once saw someone.
They asked what is that on your arms.
Ciggerette burns came the reply.
Deep inside the girl was lost.
I once saw myself drowned in tears.
Cant understand the purpose of my being.
For the cuts and scars.
The pain goes so much deeper

Tears We Cry
Tears we cry, tears we cry
Sometimes tears Kalahari dry
Tears we cry, tears we cry
For others many tears
In us for us many fears
For us we haven't tears
Their aches hurt so
But our heartaches hurt too
Why then do we for theirs cry so?
Mine tears don't for me flow
Tears for they my mind blow
Like a virgin turn whore
Went to a funeral
Of a relation to my fellow
How my heart felt hollow
In my gran'pa's requiem
I cried, but not a single scream
Friends spiced my cry like cream
We have wells for their tears
And deserts for our fears' tears
Tears we cry, for they that we cry

Besides
When I look inside the lines
When I look beside the black and white
You put my world in color
You’ve painted me a picture of my life
With laughs, and love, and you
When I look inside your eyes
I feel your pain
I feel your love
I see my future with you
When I look beyond the sea
When I look inside the dunes
You make me fly, high above the water
You’ve opened up a passage of my life
With tears, and pain, and you
When I look inside the sea
I see how deep you are
I see the waves of your past
I see my future with you
When I look up in the skies
When I see through the clouds
I soar beyond all belief into the heavens and above
You’ve given me faith and hope for all the world
When I look to the stars
I see your faith
I see your dreams
I see my future with you
When I look at you
When I see your soul
We become one
You’ve given my life the colors, the passage, and the faith and hope I need
When I look to you
I have no more fears
I have no more troubles
And I see my future with you for now and forever
