Your shore
It reaches to your shore
To admire and adore
You stand alone
Wait all alone to watch for the days gone
I see you from far off to shore
Raise my level to touch your face therefore
You still shy away and run towards forest
I try and double my efforts to catch you at the best
For the whole day I am burnt with sunrays
It doesn't give me any clue or way
You are not far but not too close either
I strike the shore with force but often wonder
I shall raise the waves again and dare
To take you with me some where
Where no one may be able to reach
You and me only to look at each
You failed to absorb my depth
It was deep, kind and smooth
There was no need to get fear
As you belonged to me and were very dear
I remain calm whole day
With reddish appearance in sky
I look at it and loose calmness
Just to double the efforts to look at the face
You mesmerized me this before and escaped
Waves have fallen back and capped
I have to rush again and wash the shore
With hope to wash your leg's dirt some more

Lazy Person
Nothing goes to lazy person
Who watches across high seas with reasons?
Does nothing but waits for hidden treasures
To strike at shore in near future
Nothing may be available by simply watching
Yield can only be in hand by catching
One needs to touch rising tidal waves
immerse the legs in and venture to be brave
Sea adventure is one of the hazardous sports
No ships can anchor without paying penalty to port
You need favorable wind and clear weather
Then only traffic will be smooth and easier
For exploring vastness, you need lion’s heart
This it self is god gift and invaluable art
It needs great patience and endurance
That may never turn into reality out of ignorance
Sea becomes rough when threatened by climate
It may raise waves to dangerous level and hate
Bring to shore whatever is in vast belly
You can collect it later on happily
What do we look at sea with threatening waves?
Go away from the shore when made a good chase
Or stay back and wait for to subside and calm down
The ultimate result is already made known
In life reward goes to only those who dare
Struggle for and are prepared to go anywhere
Don’t show lust or greed for precious treasure
But take all precautions and necessary measures

Men, the waves
The sea waves meet the shore.
The waves ebb; the shore stays ashore.
He, the wave, meets her, the shore.
The waves carry the carcass of the tryst.
The shore buries the debris of the tryst.
Man sticks to the past, woman to the future.

Drifting Too Far
Out on the perilous deep,
Where danger silently creeps,
And storm's so violently sweeping,
You're drifting too far from shore.
Chorus:
Drifting too far from shore,
You're drifting too far from shore,
Come to Jesus today,
Let Him show you the way
You're drifting too far from shore.
Today, the Tempest rose high,
And clouds o'er shadow the sky.
Sure death is hovering neigh,
You're drifting too far from shore.
Drifting too far from shore,
You're drifting too far from shore,
Come to Jesus today,
Let Him show you the way
You're drifting too far from shore.
Why meet a terrible fate?
Mercies abundantly wait.
Turn back before it's too late
You're drifting too far from shore.
Drifting too far from shore
You're drifting too far from shore (peaceful shore)
Come to Jesus today. Let him show you the way
You're drifting too far from shore...

Lonely Shore
As a I walk along the beach
Tenderness of sadness I feel
The sun up in the sky out of reach
That sets along the lonely shore
Hold me tight to catch
My breath
All along the lonely shore
To reach my dreams
To whom I’ll be
To take me in this journey
You raise me up
When I am sad
And make me shed
Away my tears
Like the water in the sea
You make me smile
Without you I am lonely
Oh wish this day won’t end
But my knees always bend
All of a sudden it will fade
But deep inside
It would be okay
Because I am not
A lonely shore
Anymore

The Man Parts the Water
The man parts the water with a simple stone,
turning when the laughter
of a child retraces the shattered waves.
The man remembers with a smile
the days when he walked the shore,
dancing with silver-eyed seagulls, and he
was always looking ahead as he
stands and tilts releasing stone,
watching it sail through the misty shore.
The child parts the water with shrieking laughter,
and dreams about the day he will knowingly smile
as his cocked man-hand reaches the stormy waves.
Watching the moon pull the scornful waves
that kick the sand onto the shore, now he’s
the ghost of a child that stands with a smile.
He parts the water with a simple stone,
listening to the moon’s blue shaken laughter
at a man awaiting his golden hour upon the murky shore.
The grains whisper into the wind. And the shore
is crowded with memories of waves,
filling a young boy’s face with laughter.
It permeates the darkness, yet he
still craves the stone
to bring the man’s euphoric smile.
Caught in a moment without laughter or smiles,
walking along the shore
he wishes upon a simple stone
for another chance to play and frolic in waves.
The child sees his reflection with an anxious smile, and he
becomes a man between the laughter.
And he will always remember the laughter,
and he will always long for an innocent smile
of waiting for the day that unknowingly he
could never return to the shore.
Churning as it breaks the waves,
the past is left in simple stone.
But for now there is laughter upon the shore,
riding along the whispering waves,
the child’s future still a simple stone.

Friend-Ship
My friendship is sinking,
I'm bailing out water as fast as I can,
Move too quickly the boat will tip over,
Move too slowly the faster it will sink,
Seconds away from abandoning ship,
But there's land in sight,
So close to shore,
Tying a rope to the boat,
Jumping into the water,
The water is so cold,
Pulling the boat to shore,
Moving too slowly,
Waves threatening to take the boat away,
Waves threatening to take me away,
Suddenly the shore seems so far away,
Waves fill the boat with water,
The burden of the weight of the water,
Becomes unbearable,
The rope is pulled out of my hands,
And the boat sinks,
Pulling me under,
I swim to the surface,
Swim to shore,
Once on shore I look back,
There is nothing left of the Friend-ship

Driftin Too Far From Shore
I didnt know that youd be leavin
Or who you thought you were talkin to.
I figure maybe were even
Or maybe Im one up on you.
I send you all my money
Just like I did before.
I tried to reach you honey,
But youre driftin too far from shore.
Driftin too far from shore
Driftin too far from shore
Driftin too far from shore
Driftin too far from shore
I aint gonna get lost in this current,
I dont like playing cat and mouse.
No gentleman likes making love to a servant.
Especially when hes in his fathers house.
I never could guess your weight, baby,
Never needed to call you my whore.
I always thought you were straight, baby,
But youre driftin too far from shore.
Driftin too far from shore
Driftin too far from shore
Driftin too far from shore
Driftin too far from shore
Well these times and these tunnels are haunted,
The bottom of the barrel is too.
I waited years sometimes for what I wanted.
Everybody cant be as lucky as you.
Never no more do I wonder,
Why you dont never play with me any more.
At any moment you could go under,
cause youre driftin too far from shore.
Driftin too far from shore
Driftin too far from shore
Driftin too far from shore
Driftin too far from shore
You and me we had completeness,
I give you all of what I could provide
We werent on the wrong side, sweetness,
We were the wrong side.
Ive already ripped out the phones, honey.
You cant walk the streets in a war.
I can finish this alone, honey,
Youre driftin too far from shore.

Down To The Sea
I went down to the sea
to wash my sins away
I went down to the sea
to cleanse myself of lusting after revenge
of guilt slinging
of lying when speaking
of not having the courage to speak the truth
of turning my back when I should have stood and faced things
I went down to the sea to wash my sins away
of neglect of others
of those I hated upon
cursed silently
of times I threw anger in someone's face
abused the weak
and those who couldn't fight back or whom were mute.
I went down to the ocean shore
to sink beneath the waves.
But the sea rejected me
sending me back
to make things right
laying me prone on the shore
amid the seaweed.
The ocean said
'My waters are pure
and cannot be despoiled by those
seeking to drown themselves in me.
No, come back after you have
made amends
and done the work you need to do
and then my sparkle waves
will greet you
as a child
who's come home
to play in my sweet eddies.
Come back after you have made yourself clean
and worthy of my ocean-tides
my river flows
my welcoming, swift currents.
You are made mostly of my waters
and then thus
coming back
we will be joined again
properly.

The Ocean
1969 live version
--------------------------------------------
Here comes the ocean
And the waves down by the shore
Here comes the ocean
And the waves down by the sea
Earth is a hollow hair bought of a bigger head
It nearly drives me crazy
I am a lazy son
I never get things down
...(unknown)
But here comes the waves
Down by the shore
Washing the eye of the land
That has been down by the sea
Down by the sea
Down by the sea
Down by the sea
Here comes the ocean and the waves
Down by the shore
Here comes the ocean and the waves
Down by the sea
(incense or in sex or insects) for evil thoughts, thought of by selfish men
It nearly drives me crazy
I am a lazy son
I never get things done
...(unknown)
Here comes the waves down by the shore
Washing the eye of the land that has been down by the sea
Down by the sea
Here come the waves
Here come the waves
Here come the waves
Peel slowly and see version
---------------------------------------------
Here comes the ocean
And the waves
Down by the sea
Here comes the ocean
And the waves
Where have they been?
Silver and black with night
Heres to a summers night
An empty splendid castle
Glowering alone at night
The princess has had a fright
Madness seeks out the lover
And here come the waves down by the shore
Washing the soul of the body
That comes from the depths of the sea
Here comes the ocean
And the waves down by the sea
Here comes the ocean
And the waves, where have they been
Dont swim tonight my love
The tide is out my love
Malcoms curse haunts our family
Oh yes, loud in which, ruler of filthy seas, revelling heavans justice
And here come the waves
And save for a scream
Theres much like a song
To be heard, in the wind, that blows by the sea.
Like the wind
Here come the waves,
Here come the waves,
Here come the waves

O Cruel Sea!
No more will I go near the sea!
No more will I stand on a beach;
No more will I live near a shore;
The sea no more looks lovely!
No more will I play on its sands;
No more will I bask in its sun;
No more will I watch ships and boats;
The sea has lost its glory!
No more will I walk on the shore;
No more will I build sand-castles;
No more will I eat sea-fish foods;
The sea has lost its beauty!
No more will I go over-seas;
No more will I adore the waves;
No more will I yearn for the sea;
The sea has lost its sanctity!
No more will I deep-dive for pearls;
No more will I collect sea-shells;
No more will I dream of Blue Sea;
The sea’s a Mass-Grave, watery!

For music
ALONG the shore, along the shore
I see the wavelets meeting:
But thee I see--ah, never more,
For all my wild heart's beating.
The little wavelets come and go,
The tide of life ebbs to and fro,
Advancing and retreating:
But from the shore, the steadfast shore,
The sea is parted never:
And mine I hold thee evermore,
Forever and forever.
Along the shore, along the shore
I hear the waves resounding,
But thou wilt cross them nevermore
For all my wild heart's bounding:
The moon comes out above the tide
And quiets all the billows wide
Her pathway bright surrounding:
Thus on the shore, the dreary shore,
I walk with weak endeavor:
I have thy love's light evermore,
Forever and forever.

On Your Shore
Strange how
My heart beats
To find myself upon your shore.
Strange how
I still feel
My loss of comfort gone before.
Cool waves wash over
And drift away with dreams of youth
So time is stolen
I cannot hold you long enough.
And so
This is where I should be now
Days and nights falling by
Days and nights falling by me.
I know
Of a dream I should be holding
Days and nights falling by
Days and nights falling by me.
Soft blue horizons
Reach far into my childhood days
As you are rising
To bring me my forgotten ways.
Strange how I falter
To find I'm standing in deep water
Strange how
My heart beats
To find I'm standing on your shore.

Portrait of a Lady
Your thighs are appletrees
whose blossoms touch the sky.
Which sky? The sky
where Watteau hung a lady's
slipper. Your knees
are a southern breeze -- or
a gust of snow. Agh! what
sort of man was Fragonard?
-- As if that answered
anything. -- Ah, yes. Below
the knees, since the tune
drops that way, it is
one of those white summer days,
the tall grass of your ankles
flickers upon the shore --
Which shore? --
the sand clings to my lips --
Which shore?
Agh, petals maybe. How
should I know?
Which shore? Which shore?
-- the petals from some hidden
appletree -- Which shore?
I said petals from an appletree.

Lovers On A Beach
Written by ricky & marty wilde
Lovers on a beach
Lovers on a beach
Two naked hands lay on the sand
When all the world was out of reach
Through the shuttered doors
The music filtered through
Playing on a theme that couldnt run
Lovers on a shore
Lovers on a shore
The heavy wine of broken time
But now theyre gone its nothing more
Looking back on days
When summer seemed so long
Now theres only winter nights to come
And oh - sometimes shes missing you
She hears the shore
She feels it more
And out there the waves are breaking
Back here her heart is aching
Lovers on a beach
Lovers on a beach
Two silhouettes were on a shore
But now theyre lost and out of reach
Now on lonely roads
The flashbacks lead to you
Like a faded photograph in time
Oh lovers (lovers, lovers, lovers, lovers...)
And oh just as shes missing you
She hears the shore
She feels it more
And out there the waves are breaking
Back here her heart is aching
Lovers on a beach
Lovers on a beach
Two naked hands theyre on the sand
When all the world was out of reach
Lovers on a beach
Lovers on a beach
Lovers
Lovers
Lovers on a beach
Lovers
Lovers
Lovers

With New Shot
Sea waves rushed to me
As if to greet and make to feel free
I felt in it sudden current
With full of energy and nothing absent
I had stood aimlessly on shore
With no hope to survive and dare
It was split second thought
Battled enough in mind and fought
I am never man of unstable mind
Love to dream and of nature very kind
I get enough of energy and boost from nature
Where I go and stand alone to secure
Waves again rushed and took away some sand
Each wave looked friendly at the end
Sea roared again from distance and sent fear signal
'Don't be afraid or feel panicky with wave's arrival'
What has happened to me today?
Why is it so that I want to give away?
Whole of my life for stupid way of thinking
When ships over water can swim and I think of sinking?
Oh no, I gathered strength from waves going up and down
What was the reason behind to press for an urge to drown?
I felt shy over the silly idea of not to stay
Almighty had given it to preserve and serve in good way
Oh it is continuous journey with little hint
Each time they rush to the shore to wipe out the prints
What points have we to decide decisively?
Is it life to be led successively?
I brush off the rotten idea and return to hut
All ideas still remain with lots of 'ifs and buts'
I need them to be off with door completely shut
I find the mind ready to fly with new shot

Solitude Of The Waves
SOLITUDE OF THE WAVES
Melvin Banggollay
As the tide of the ocean rises high
to kiss the lovely breast of the shore,
flocks of birds keeps on flying high
over the blue ocean's widest floor,
the winter breeze shares its delight
of coldness I can't long endure
while i'm in solitude of solemn sigh
reflecting deeply if I can still endure
memories written with every tides
of a love once build upon this shore.
The shore was filled with serenity
as the moonlight radiance glow,
When I heard her whisper softly
in my ears promises I never knew
have only faithless spirit and beauty
of a love and romance she bestow
that filled my heart with so much glee
that even the waves dances with joy
with the happiness that bewildered me
on that one lucky night upon this shore.
but now as I walk alone this beach
The waves seems come to me to fade
with lonely smile as they try to reach
and take back the footprints I laid
upon the shore once been the seat
of a love now only in memory be made
as teardrops in my eyes start to heat
and melt down again for a decade
of pain and agony as memory unseat
and keep on coming back like waves.

I'm In The Mood
I knock off with a lot on my mind
From a long hard day
Pull in at home, see you and find
My stress slipping away
Then you run to my arms
and give me a kiss
And nothing else matters
When you hold me like this
(Chorus)
Girl, I'm in the mood to be your man
To win your heart all over again
Let my eyes trace, let my lips taste
Nothing but you
I'm in the mood to close the door
Make love tonight like never before
Rush after rush, like waves on the shore
Girl, I'm in the mood
All day long I'm so strong
Then I hear you speak
I'm drawn to your fire, your signs of desire
Girl, you make me weak
I go drifting away
Like a leaf in the wind
I'm under a spell
Your touch put me in
Girl, I'm in the mood to be your man
To win your heart all over again
Let my eyes trace, let my lips taste
Nothing but you
Yeah, I'm in the mood to close the door
Make love tonight like never before
Rush after rush, like waves on the shore
Girl, I'm in the mood
