What Is Expected
What is expected of a person?
Whether poor, rich, man or woman
To live earthly with all the lies
True part of it never realizes
Hats of to a person who sees her self
A rare creature of God and gem of sea shelf
That is how you are supposed to live
Take oath and ardently believe
What is special thing in you?
Made of color, bones and flash through
A shape that is beautiful or ugly
Good reason to attract a person readily
We don't know the reason behind
There is something yet to find
We may pass through every ordeal
Life then may seem to be fact and real
I won't say everybody should pass through acid test
Some of us may have unexpected and very bet
Yet there is possibility of passing through rough weather
If he or she comes out of it may certainly add feather
Pray almighty for what has been granted
Accept for what has been denied and not wanted
Yet you are alive to witness and pass out
Life and its mission is exactly what you don't think about
I give full marks to young lady who faces the uphill task
Come in grip of wolves who attack with masks
Yet there is resolve to stand against and fight for survival
With no let up in spirit and surge ahead for revival

An ideal woman
I am ordinary woman on earth
Tired of so many things and waiting for death
I am very ordinary and look every inch committed
I am being troubled all the time and insulted
I may not be model but have beautiful heart
Beating as normal with loving art
You may not find any substance with material
But no one can dare to come out with denial
I am careless in my food habits
I can set, align and feel very fit
In short I am earthly woman
So caring and loving for own man
I have self respect for self and for others
I can devote complete life for a person who solders
Takes our care and lives so near
Yet I cast doubt and live with fear
I am what I am and would be same
I feel nothing bad and have any shame
How can I love a person for his adultery?
When it is made known to me about flateery
I have been asked to opine honestly
I see visible cracks on her face and feel earnestly
She has thought of taking divorce
Even thought it is imposed on her by force
No lady would prefer desertion
Another lady in life seems out of question
If some one tries to threaten it with severance
It must taken note of and deal it at once
She is independent lady with weak will power
I need to guide and show the way to her
He claims all the time about love but threatens with another relation
She has calmness of river and one can find in revelation
“Cut him short of your financial support”
“Don’t maintain any contact and have rapport”
I suggested to her it as real solution with heavy heart
As he was taking her for granted and using all cleverness or art
She has moon’s face and comes out genuinely
I fear she may be left behind to live lonely
She has yet long way to go in this horrible circle
Yet she has to think positive and come out of trouble
I pray for her settled life and career
She must find very good partner and stay as dear
We can’t make life as testing ground
It is really a bad test and does not look sound
I would want her to be strong
Nothing may go bad or very wrong
She may choose right way of course
Life is meant to surge ahead and not have any pause

Part of His design
Thousands come into life and perish
Life is not taken note of and finished
Garden boom with lots of flowers
Different and beautiful color but at the end lower
Each soul is destined for better or worse
Some may enjoy full and same may spent with remorse
No one has understood the great theory of almighty Lord
“Do your work and forget” reiterates the golden words
Every object is real reflection and part of his design
We only have to surrender and mutely resign
We may not know the secret blessings behind
We need to look towards sky and try to find
Individual may have sufferings and different stories to tell
Not all may be blessed with an doing very well
Some may remain well to do without any hard struggle
Others may go down with agony and pain as if living in hell
You may meet thousands of strangers
Not a single soul you may find without any anger
He will have something to complain of
Life may prove always rough and tough
It is inevitable death and birth cycle
All holy books speak same including Bible
We have to pass through the acid test and ordeal
We won’t know it unless it is faced in real
Let us not feel it as burden
Life can not be ended all of sudden
It may be some times odds and sometimes even
We must strengthen the belief and not weaken
We are messenger of God
There should be no heavy load
If you take it as pure and humble mission
There won’t be any necessity for guilt admission

What Can One Person Do
(n. rodgers/g. smith)
What can one person do
More than a little bit
More than a little bit
Can I fight the battle
All by myself
Can I make a miracle happen
As long as I can think
And got my health
Ill never stop
Im too strong for that
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
Everyones gotta move
What they can move
The faithful can sometimes move mountains
When your faith is right
You will never lose your heart, your hope
Or your good friends
Dont be overcome by frustrations
Live up to your highest expectations
Im tellin you just for your information
Just for, just for your information
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
Looked into my soul and suspected
That Im gonna take, gonna take on the unexpected
Walked into the fire unprotected
Walk into the fire
What can one person do
What can one person be
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me

Not Me
yes, the ordinary person that you meet
in our town
you do not even know my real name
other than Mister
but i do not really mind
i like it that way
just being another ordinary person
the one that smiles when you smile
at me
as i pass by you and you too pass by me
i do not stare
not that it is unethical but because i have my own thoughts
to ponder for the day
how i live my life in privacy
away from the mob
the crowd
the many
the extraordinary demands of the society
like how the ocean dissolves me
like a drop
in anonymity
i like just being myself
a glistening dew on the petal of a rose
that i put on the glass vase
all alone on the table
yes alone but not really lonely
just being special
to myself
this solitude
regaining strength from the past,
those old days
when my mind was murdered
because i did not bother to guard it
from the multitude
from them
not me

If There Is A God 'Twould Seem To Me
If there is a God 'twould seem to me that God would not have a creed
Or would not favour any religious belief such divisive influences a supreme being would not need
Amongst his or her Earthly followers the real God would rule for everyone
A real God would act as a real God should when all is said and done.
Amongst his flock for even an atheist the real God would find a place
And a real God would not differentiate between Nationality and Race
Those who say the God they believe in is the one true God they do have it all wrong
If there is a God surely that God to everyone does belong.
A real God is for her and him as well as you and me
A real God is for everyone though you do not agree
Only in the God of your religion the true God you do see
Suppose as some are known to say we all look at things differently.
If there is a God it does seem to me that God is of human kind
And every good person he or she the real God lives in their mind
And whether you live as an atheist or to a God you do pray
As long as you are a good person with me that is okay.

I No Longer Wish To Change The World
The thoughts of changing the World I no longer entertain
The dreams I had of peace on Earth with me did not remain
For famines, wars and terrorism it does seem are with us forever more
I want to be a better person now just that and nothing more.
I just want to be a better person now that is all I wish to be
To make this World a better place to live in should not be up to me
To help those who are frail and old and on low incomes without expecting pay
I would feel pleased if I could perform one good deed every day.
I once dreamt I would change the World but I've forsaken that idea
Though I would feel pleased if I could help one person in poverty
To mow one poor old lady's grass and not charge her a thing
It seems like a feel good thing to do some happiness to a poor one bring.
I no longer wish to change the World I just wish to live and let live
And to help some poorer one than I some of my free time give
War, famines, terrorism and poverty all around the World are rife
And it seems a sad thing for to say that they are a part of life.

A Wanted Person
You are a wanted person and,
You've stolen from many;
You are a wanted person and,
You thought you are rich from your theft.
The law is looking for you,
The people are tracking for you down,
But for how long will you hide from them?
A wanted person is what you are,
So try to sow a better seed than hate;
A wanted person is what you are,
So try to do the right thing than stealing;
One day the law will get to you.
You will be exposed one day,
You will be caught one day,
There and then you will know your mistakes;
A wanted person is what you are.
Like the nakedness of a chicken,
Likewise will your shame be;
You are a wanted person and,
The law is after you.

Wealthy man
I did not want to become wealthy man
At least I did not dream about pleasing a woman
As they all prefer stability in life with wealth
They would not mind to go with person with ill health
I used to pray God for success
More knowledge with enough of access
No blockade on the way for any of the reason
As I wanted to be a successful person
At a given point of time you may need some means
With enough of means you can directly score wins
Even though that may be marred by some of the difficulties
Still you may excel with your great abilities
With the advancement of time the picture may get clear
Either you will be struggling or surviving it with fear
Sometimes it may be falling short of your expectations
Still you may go on without making any revelation
It is only greed that pushes you to get something more
You accept all short cuts and try available methods to explore
It involve bloody measures but hardly it will affect your drive
As you are hell bent upon it and at any cost stand to derive
It is impossible to move on without money power
In the absence of it you can have only hut instead of tower
The intensity and power of it has been realized by all
You are doomed to fail and possibly witness the fall
How can you do away by remaining aloof?
The misery is dominant and very clear proof
One has to live with whatever he has and survive
Only he has to struggle hard and revive
The new trend is emerging or growing in new generation
They see it as strong power for future elevation
Growth and prosperity can become reality only when
There is full economic growth which comes not all of sudden
It is equally true that person may suffer from inferiority
He may always be down with complex such as superiority
This can be eliminated with only when one is fully contended
It is matter of self satisfaction and can never be pretended
It is recognized fact that economic superiority is must
It creates enough of confidence and required trust
Person may develop ill feeling if he has to live with some shortage
There may not enough of time left with his life span or age
Only few can remain fully satisfied
The reason behind is not falsified
The time and life style has changed a lot
At every level one or other odd is to be fought

Regrets
I have done things wrong,
I will never forget.
But I cannot live,
A life of regret.
I am not a bad person.
But I have done bad things.
When a guitar gets broken,
You can change it's strings.
Life can be a song.
You can choose to dance.
Or you can sit in a corner.
And not take a chance.
It can be an adventure.
It can just be mundane.
You can dress it all up.
Or just leave it plain.
You can live for the moment.
You can live in the past.
You can live for tomorrow.
Or all you've amassed.
You can live for it's gifts.
You can live for it's treasures.
You can live for it's pain.
Or live for it's pleasures.
You can live it for Jesus.
Or live it for you.
You can live it for everyone.
Or just for a few.
And when it all,
Comes to an end.
Will you feel it's been true?
Or just been pretend.
Will you feel like you gave it,
Gave it your best.
Or did just what you had to.
Like all of the rest.
Did you make a difference?
Or did you blend in.
Did you look forward to where you were going?
Or stuck where you'd been?
Did you take life by the horns?
Or did it take you?
When things got real tough?
Just what did you do?
Did you sit in a corner?
Did you mope, did you cry?
Did you simply give up?
Did part of you die?
Did you fight the good fight?
Did you give it your best?
Did you go through your journey?
And complete your quest.
So live for the moment.
And never forget.
Don't let life shape you.
By what you regret.

We Knew But Didn’t Know
Occasionally people come into our lives,
people we knew but didn’t know.
We knew them from our early years
before life sent us in different directions.
Years would pass before we met again
with this person we knew but didn’t know.
The passing years had changed us both,
wiser but strangers no less.
In the exchanges that follows a friendship grows.
A friendship that was never there before
with this person we knew but didn’t know.
Everything happens for a reason
and the reason is not for us to know.
In meeting it changes us, ignites a flame within,
a flame of caring given a chance should have been.
Now in maturity we get to know that person
we knew but didn’t know.
What the future holds is as uncertain as tomorrow,
but we walk towards it with this friend,
a person we knew but didn’t know.

A life is mission
Life is supposed to be like open page
Any one can visit and read without any rage
You may have disliking for person and hate
It is all coming when he is no more and you are late
We may not know about a person
We may also criticize him without any reason
He may have nothing to do with us at all
Still we term him as liar and call
You can’t please each and every one
It is not possible to neglect everyone
You will have to cooperate and mix with them
They may have then no chance for you to frame
They may inflict heavy wounds
It may not please us but looks very sound
You can’t find end as earth is round
This is real truth and must be found
We write our own history
Even though we might have lived in misery
We pay respect even to our adversary
There is no use to follow it unnecessary
Life can be made as transparent as possible
We must realize it and make admissible
Nothing can go against us as it is fact
We must fall in line and don’t react
Life may move on endlessly and not cease
We should live it peacefully and remain at ease
It must be faced bravely with all its implications
There may still be fall out with indication
We can write on sand soon to be swept away
Nothing will remain as it will give away the way
Sand storm may try to reach the sky
You imagine the consequences and don’t ask why
Sand may shape in form of rising demon
Assume different shapes to omit the venom
It may try to catch but succeed seldom
Such occurrences are rare and random
A person can rise from the grave and question
All his Good work may not have found any mention
It may still be sworn on his good name
Flowers and bouquets to adore the fame
Life time work may help not all but few
Cool breeze may disappear along with dews
New life with good mission may take place
Life will become busy with another good race
People may take birth and vanish
They may depart without its finish
Still there may be wider scope for its realization
This is how there may be emergence of good civilization
Work may go on and speak of volumes
Body may be cremated or soil may consume
We should remain positive and role must be assumed
Time should be saved and not consumed

In the school of life there are many rooms,
As Jesus talked about his father, who have a big volumes
On this earth you can find the many level of civilizations,
From primitives, next & next up to the smart scientist interventions.
We all have our fate to fulfill,
Learn what we have to in this life & go up our hill.
Each person's life is like a software in God's computer,
We born, live, go through temptations & we became a performer.
The Law is built into each person
Given a choice between Life or malediction
Some follows the wrong way, some tries hard to be good,
If he/she finds true peace, self confidence, health & happiness,
That means the lesson was understood.
Rich, poor, sad, sick or happy are all just a dream,
Everything is passing fast like a sunbeam,
We have the choice which side we accept,
If we are smart, no matter what comes, we can adept.

Good from tonic
Good from tonic
No one can expect to remain on the top
But if one wants then no one can stop
But it is natural law and rule
One can learn it when see the full moon
Moon looses position day by day
From light to dark gradually each day
To be totally sleeping to another side
When you can see only horizontal wide
Sun appears from east with mild rays
Bring early life to all for the full day
No one waits for the second to miss
As everybody bows head and take it as bliss
Each one of us is aware of sun's importance
We can witness next day only by chance
If we happen to find next day morning
Pray almighty to take you safely in the evening
See the sun in its full size
Either in full with rise
Or in evening when it is all set
To meet its decline with fate
I see red lights on wane
As tail blaze from landing plane
With one aim to reach in its respective place
Where mankind breathes to withdraw from the race
We can see and witness evening scene
Where sun is with naked eyes quietly seen
It is gift from departing energy ball
We withdraw and retire with cease call
Try and find out the reason
Many may offer but vary from person to person
It is artist's eye that finds out real magic
Full day's energy loss can be made good from tonic

The Final Insignificance
to know what is real
you must pass through a labyrinth
of doors
you will be lost
that is the first test
you must find
that key of losing
without having to feel
any emotion
be it gladness or
sadness
after passing that door
you are transformed
into another path
where other lost people
pass at you
and does not ask your
name
or what you are
you become a floor
and all their feet
step upon you
but you will not
know this
because this just happens
as a matter
of consequence
when all the strangers
pass
and there is no one left
you are granted a pair
of wings
that door in the clouds
is the next
no one sees it
except you
and you fly through
it
until you become
a little star
hanging yourself in
the corridors of
space
you have no choice
here
except to give light
you fulfill
what you are finally
one of those
that glitter
and yet no one
really minds
what you have become
for in truth
you are just one of the billions
and hence
insignificant

Congratulation
I must whole heartedly congratulate
A loving tribute to octogenarian and relate
How life might have given him sleepless nights?
To spend the entire life at ease with resolve to fight
I love his one remark about country
A beautiful land bestowed on us by almighty
Motherland must be felt as matter of pride by all of us
Let us strengthen his belief with all the trust
Let the destiny day come as sense of fulfillment
Let our soul feel at that time as proudest moment
We have lived with diverse culture and affinity
A rarest thing ever found in world history
It is rare gesture to a person
Who has spent entire life with noble reasons?
He could rest and spend time easily
Yet he offered to the services of literature readily
Let us all wish him great success
Good health and wealth with easy access
It may provide him means to live
Life to be enjoyed and relived
Life is to be lived at full length
Not in number but with achievement and strength
He has done it with extra ordinary zeal
I wish him all the success in life real
We may pick some threads
Take a lesson and like to lead
More to learn and more to read
From life itself before we are no more or dead

Her wrinkle face
She was the only one in family
Elderly person with clear vision and noble quality
We all addressed her as “granny” with respect
She would never scold us for naughty acts
She will hide and keep for us as something
Even though we have plenty in house but it is special thing
She may come to us slowly with tremendous love
We will rush to her for chocolates that she may give
“Papa, don’t allow nine nine (grandma) to go away” we will insist
Let her remain with us and we shall make her walk on the way
Take her for morning stroll and evening walk
In this way she will feel happier and talk
The children have special liking for old persons
They are always kind and show enormous love with reasons
She has whole of garden before her in the form of lovely children
That makes her fully contended and miss no loneliness even
She may be almost ninety or more
Yet so much energy and will power is in store
Always praying most of the time with good faith
Not at all worrying about the approaching death
I learnt great deal her with practical lessons
She had troubled life in early stage and lived as helpless person
Then also she did not loose hope and kept us in her strong fold
We were her live hope and dear ones in the entire world
I won’t forget her when she will be gone
Though nothing more is left to be done
Her contribution and presence is like beacon to us
We pray almighty for her log life with full trust
Parents are after all one step ahead and plan for future
Not only for them selves but small kids and all for sure
They do not tire out easily as we do in our young age
As it is thrust upon them to rear us and ably manage
I salute her not because of her age or elderly person
But the way she has survived to see grandsons
May be second generation before her eyes to witness
Watch if you can minutely the beautiful shine on her wrinkled face

The Money
Can money kiss you?
Can it give you a hug?
Will money save you from death?
Often people kiss their money
As if money were a person
but does money kiss you back?
Does money make the world go round?
Perhaps money can bring you down
When you spend it all, it’s just gone
leaving you with... possessions?
It’s true; money can buy you things
but it shouldn’t be the main motivation
or reason to live
It’s the root of all evil
Too much love causes greed
Some people have way too much
While others are in real need
Why are people starving?
The rich dictate the poor
Nothing less and nothing more
Everyday prices just rise
Every night we have to pay more to be alive
Dollar signs and question marks
are what I contemplate
Than money breaks up people
and causes them to hate
Never really seeming to be able to relate
What is real and what is fake?
Money isn’t something death will let you take
So why are riches passing by us daily?
On a path to no where, the money is failing

What I Am Is God’s Gift, What I Become Is My Gift To God
WHAT I AM IS GOD’S GIFT, WHAT I BECOME IS MY GIFT TO GOD
What I am is God’s gift, what I become is my gift to God tells us that our own body and the life that breath in our body is God’s precious gift to us but what this body can become and what sense or impact of our being as a person to others and to God is our gift to the Almighty. Our own body and life is our own gift from God on the day of our creation from womb till we joined this world to become what we want to mirror in this journey of life. God has given us all the provisions to live and all the faculties we need to grow as a person. He gave us a body strong enough to withstand trials of life like illness, sorrows and pains to keep us not so much fragile to anything that we can paint our own journey in this life. No doubt the life we breath is indeed God’s most precious gift to all of us. Precious than anything like glittering gold or diamonds. Our life is really beyond compare being the ultimate reasons God had created this world and the very reason why He gave his only begotten Son to secure and protect such gift to all of us. Truly, our own life is our gift from God but what we become as a person is our gift in return to God.
What we wanted to become in the eyes of men and God is our gift in return to such noble and precious gift of life we had from God. Our body is the temple of God’s Kingdom when we let our soul glitter like diamond upon the eyes of God if sense of righteousness lives within every breath we take as we deal with other people and so with God. It is how we used this body as an instrument to fulfill our own mission in this life through our own vocation, work or services we take is our gift to God. Everything we do in this life in the service to other people and to God is our own gift to the Almighty. Everything we do to the temple of God’s Kingdom, our body, determines the impact of our sense of being as a person in the eyes of God and men. Truly, if we wanted to be looked upon as a glittering diamond in the yes of God and men, we must live in righteousness upholding all the fundamental truth and wisdom of God as we relate with other people and as we serve with prudence sharing our life and services to others.
Our own sense of being, purpose or mission through our various ways, vocations or services is the way how we return our gratitude and appreciation to our gift of life from God. The way how we share our own life to give life and light to others is our gift to God. Make this life then shine for others and to God for it is our own little way of returning the favor of God’s grace and love to us.

In This Human World
In this Human World we live in ourselves with others we compare
But of what it takes to be a good person many do not seem aware
Few aspire to be better people though at what they do they want to be best
Many know of material success though many do not pass the good person test.
In this Human World we live in an often used word is success
As we seek the approval of others and others we want to impress
But most seek the success that comes with material possessions is this what life is all about
The idea of success to the majority is something that's open to doubt.
Few see success in helping the less privileged or for showing for them that we do care
Many see success in wealth accumulation yet too few for others their wealth does share
We come into the world with nothing and we cannot take our money with us when we die
The idea of what it takes to be successful is an idea that's based on a lie.
In this human world that we live in for material success many compete
Where many crave for recognition of being the wealthiest one in their street
But being the wealthiest person in your street or owning the biggest house or car
Does not tell us that much about you or of how good of a person you are.
