Your relation with all were hostile and not warm
You never thought of helping the poor
Confined to self and shut the door

You were shame on humanity
There was no use of your continuity

She banged the phone and blasted
I feared more blasts and waited
She was damn angry and out of control
I even forgot to address her and call

I gained little strength and again called

I was not in rage but in shame

I became really nervous and tried to console

Totally unaware

As I have known you for number of years
Any bad news are refused to be heard by ears
He is occupying most of my time in prayers
Yet I fear that he may be totally unaware

I was approached by close friend for her problems
Though it was personal and confined between them
I thought for while to entertain and listen to
She opened up for reasons to be very true

You may have some inkling
As to what can be reason for liking?
You may know the exact reason behind
I shall make no efforts to find

She made it known to me as friend
I advised her not push him to the end
I enquired whether she had in any manner communicated
She said she had not enough time as all the way she felt suffocated

I have not put a word to him
I think chances are very thin]
I have special attachment and leaning
I want there to be good beginning

I consoled her by saying that it is not bad at all to have feelings
But it must be made known to him that you are willing?
She was not sure of future steps and had left it to him for best reasons
As he was nice and very good person

She knew well that unknown love was to mushroom
It might find favor with enough of space and room
If she had faith in destiny and almighty
It may surely become possibility and reality

She told that she can take chance in life at least once
Even though there was little time for any kind of romance
She believed in real bonding of two different persons
There was likelihood of spring arrival even in odd season

I thought for a while and begged for some more time
It was proper to offer on the spot any solution for time being
I thought to gain some space with arguments
It was for her in all the way critical moments

There may be hundreds of such cases
These can not be solved on advisory basis
They have to take care and caution of their own
Love is like seed and may emerge once it is sown

I felt tremendous joy and happiness
She had unique way of feeling and keenness
In the normal way she could openly advance
But she was noble and thought before at once

A no to death bell

No one wants to hear death bell
It doesn’t find favor or go well
Everyone has different stories to tell
No one can generate idea or easily sell

It creates fear in mind
All unnecessary thoughts get unwind
We are half dead before its arrival
There is anxiety and great upheaval

Well it has to come on appointed day
No is no escape route or way
No one has anything to offer or say
You need no worry or attention to pay

Your good work may come to rescue
It is fine with you and equally true
You are at relative comforts
It doesn’t bother you much or hurt

The end may be soon without any delay
The angels may be ready to take you away
There may be bright light in the sky
You will be heavenly abode without any shy

You have fulfilled your mission
There is nothing unusual things for admission
You have lived your life in elegant way
It was always nice to find very good day

You did whatever you could in your position
People try to project their work in exhibition
You stayed in humble way all along
No one could point out as wrong

It is expected from every person
You have to lead simple life without any reason
You change for good as per season
Words spoken need not bitter as poison

Lead the way in life as you like
Only good thought must strike
Try to be kind and generous

A nice person

´He was nice person and down to earth”
‘Good people depart early and still there is no dearth”?
“He was choosey in life and did no harm”
“He lived full life with enthusiasm and charm”

Some of the comments were heard when my close friend died
He lived exactly the opposite and on almost all the occasions lied
I failed to understand the value of comments passed on individual
Is it customary to pass words which in all the sense are dual?

I have almost witnessed the same scene
There may be unpleasant things to be seen
People will be offering their condolences
I may still be customary to site many instances

No one takes this occasion very lightly
We may notice some differences slightly
It is not appropriate gesture or tribute
It helps a lot to express the gratitude

Person is remembered at his departure
He might have not earned for his future
The last rites might improve his public standing
His contribution might be remembered as outstanding

We find some of the people still fearing the death
They are afraid of wrong comments or wrath
It puts them under constant fear and pressure
They do nice work at the end to make it sure

Some of the good work is definitely appreciated
It is openly advocated and stated
This brings some of the his fine work to the knowledge
It might have been his ultimate goal before his demise to manage

People may call him as true son of the land
His contribution is clearly seen on hand
He might have proved to some people as good friend
This is how he earns respect at the end

I have tested it all
Responded well with the call
Yet I remain on the back seat
People avoid to look at me and greet

I had been kind enough to people
To render all kind help in case of any trouble
Yet it all boomeranged on me like surprise attack
As if some of my interest was at stake

It is good quality of person if nobility is paid in same coin
Why at all good work must result in some kind of pain?
Is it so difficult to tell person a simple thank you?
Not in response to kind gesture but in recognition of truth

It is human nature to forget soon
Like we get relaxed after hot afternoon
Life may have faced many difficulties
But soon to forget when attained full capability

Elder may boost of having seen the age
They have lot more to tell and write on page
But what if you are given cold shudder?
Disregarded altogether and shown the ladder

You may know exactly what is to be done in course of time
You may be pushed aside in some of the cases sometimes
That may give you room to think and brace up for challenge
So it is mental state where you feel nothing and try to manage

It is good to be on right side
Acknowledge and if possible oblige
It is nice of a person if good things are remembered
Truth may always surface even if tempered

She was silent

She was silent and deep in thought
As if she feared a battle to be fought
She had near escape from real struggle
Life was challenge and full of troubles

She shared always with me her secret
Her words spoke of bad luck and fate
What and how the people had deceived?
How badly she was treated and received?

As female it was too much for her
Lot many things worried and this had led her to bother
It was not easy to counter propaganda
When each and everything was to be proved as contra

I was called specially to listen to her views
She had limited friends and confided to only few
I watched her pale face and wondered
She was fresh like rose earlier and smile was always offered

Here she was before me as if not as loving person
But down with worries and reasons
She was feeling lonely and feared from people
It was not good now to continue life as single

She was asking me to give opinion
How will it be nice to find companion?
I was judging her mood so avoided an answer
But I assumed rain was about to shower

I am not sure what was in her mind
Why was she so desperate to find?
A friend at this critical juncture
Where as she had refused in past for anything sure

Was I in her mind as possible savior?
It will be wrong on my part to whistle or murmur
I thought for a while and kept safe distance
She was looking at my eyes and took real chance

I was for her in past and had expressed
She was all for glory and out rightly had dismissed
My proposal for alliance and hence we had parted
Now it was her proposal again and I got startled

Not that bad! I smiled within
It was purely an incidental win
She was there for me waiting
I smiled and expressed desire for dating

“Why only females have to suffer”
“I am sorry to know it and I differ”
I was fired off by a very good friend
I thought it will bring about an abrupt end

She was for all praise for good friend
She was no doubt very clear with trend
I said I can improve upon and mend
She was adamant and refused to bend

I had liked her from the beginning
She was fire brand and very shining
Her approach very clear and convincing
I too liked her words without mincing

She was tall in figure and beautiful
I thought she may be equally faithful
She might come up with all that may be purposeful
I too longed for her and was very hopeful

Even though she was far away
I did not feel bad in any way
She had her option very much open
I too was very much hopeful even

She has boyfriend she told
But in fact she proved she is very bold
She would not easily go to any fold
She may be opposed to any idea or very cold

It did not make me sink
I even saw her without any wink
She was merely stating her position
I dreamed about her with very good composition

She will laugh it out at my proposal
She may say it even with quick disposal
She is not for anyone except her friend
She has no proposal in any sense to send

I am not good at such things
I did not expect her for something
She was to remain with me as a companion
She feared and took it for bonding and union

Relation is not built in a day
It is taking may years with days
Who can wait that longer to prove?
I liked her move and did not disapprove

Let her have her own world to live
I have my own to live and believe
Let it not drift away in strong current
The friendship is heavenly sent

I don’t want unusual thing to happen
It must not be felt now or then even

I was stepping in to become young
I thought it is nice journey but too long
I am afraid and take care not to go wrong
I was expecting everything for song

I am so much influenced by lady smile
She has entered in life just before while’
Life seems to be so interesting and fine
I want to dance on floor with glass of wine

Miss, you can’t be so rude
For a word you have made prelude,
All warmth and affection you have included
Hate and distance you have excluded

I never expected you to cast
All doubts but trust should not last
You were the first to realize it fast
Reality known but never wore any kind of mast,

Your innocence and name is kind to infuse
Kind words for me but not meant to confuse
Time was for decision but you never refused
Always stood at right point and crisis defused

Even amidst delicate moments
You did not offer a word or comments
You were hurt most but you used simple word,
Is it blessings to you or gift from Lord?

I loved you most as your dearest friend

She didn’t become mine for some reasons

She had everything to loose
But she had no option to choose
Why did she take extreme step?
She always used to call me as sweet babe

It may be her way of thinking

Thank You For The Thought

THIS POEM IS DEDICATED TO MY 'DJ' BEST FRIEND

Thank you my friend for the text,
For asking me how I am today,
For telling me how things are there,
Thank you for the thought, my friend.

Thank you my friend for the text,
For asking about my plans for the occasion;
For asking for a little of my time so you can call,
My friend, Thank you for the thought.

Thank you my friend for the call,
For finding time to call me up;
For spending money to find out how I am,
Thank you for the thought my friend.

Thank you my friend for the forward mails
You so untiringly send when you think
They can make me smile and say a little prayer;
Thank you for the thought my friend.

Thank you my friend for the friendship,
For the patience to listen when I whine,
For the tolerance to my shortcomings,
For reminding me to always take care of myself,
Thank you for the thought my friend.

Be Kind to the Little Ones

Air -- "He Folds Them on His Bosom''

Be kind to all little ones,
All fathers, mothers dear,
Be kind to your little ones,
Their little hearts to cheer.
For oh! you know not how soon
Their place will vacant be;
If God should call one to his home,
Your conscience would be free.

Their little forms are tender,
They're at your mercy now;
They need your kind attention
To watch them every hour.
While they are little infants,
My friends, take time to spare:
Do not forget an instant,
To give them tender care.

God, he never did intend
You to misuse your child;
Their little souls to you he sends
To bless you for awhile.
And if you always will be kind
To them, sweet little ones,
Oh! what a blessing you will find
In after years to come.

You never, never will repent,
Dear friend, for being kind;
Those little ones to you were sent,
And always bear in mind,
That God may call your little ones
And leave you here behind;
Oh! what a happy thought will come --
I always have been kind.
