We Are Mortal

Where silence is needed
The advice must be heeded
Where words are to be spoken
The tongue should never be shaken

Everybody knows that we are mortal
No one can stop death’s arrival
Yet we don’t surrender merely on account of fear
Every now and then we don’t shed the tears

Where one must assertively pronounce
He should do it with high note and announce
Out of million only one brave soul may emerge
He will guide your destiny in crucial stage

What could mar your march or destiny?
Color, creed, race or reasons so many?
People may respect your high stature
As country can see in you a bright future

Hardly may you find a star among us?
To whom you can blindly put faith and trust
They have observed trauma of pain
How person can be made slave and kept in chain

It is shame to be discriminated on any count
Thank God he has blessed us with same blood count
Color is same and feelings also not different
But difference is seen and felt apparent

No people have suffered more than the blacks
What a history we have to learn as period of dark?
How much cruelty on the freedom and liberty?
This can push us to the Dark Age with full certainty

I shall pay great tribute to all those heroes
Who laid their lives else we would been only zero
What else we can expect than shedding of own blood?
Where people live in misery and die for the want of food

Let us rise and claim great respect for such leaders
We feel so much pain and grief as simple readers
How pain and sufferings they might have seen in their age?
I shall have no words to inscribe it on the golden page

Mark of respect

Women need it as mark of respect
We all have to think seriously and introspect
When God has made it then why do we stand as suspect?
Has everything got relevance with cast, creed, color or sect?

Yes, color do attract us for certain reasons
It is natural and varies from person to person
But is it the only criteria to hate an individual?
Still we have we to fight against role called dubious or dual?

I salute to those who stand against such move?
They may be threatened with their live or removed
Yet the fight may not be over till it ends
We as an human beings must change our trend

We are in land of peace and liberty
We are equally blessed with freedom from almighty
Why do we create hatred only on the basis of color?
This is not simple matter but serious and major

Some of the people may not speak openly against
But secretly they will bless and insist
That struggle rages on indefinitely
The people are brandished and disappear quietly

It is suppression and blot on humanity
It is not even today discouraged for continuity
Enough blood has been shed and still it remains
Let us do everything which is possible in our domain

Freedom struggle

'Freedom struggle'

Yes, it will as it has done in past
Misery and plight never long last
They have to disintegrate very fast
No doubts should be ever cast

You can’t wait helplessly
You can’t always cry with remorse
What is that you always speak adversely?
Do nothing useful and still talk fiercely

No words will do any good
Neither helpless hands nor shortage of food
But only strong resolve and supreme sacrifice
Not hollow actions but real promises

Let sky shower hell with lot of curses
It can’t stand on the way or reverse
Your destiny is decided and set the goal
Even if you fail, falter or commit fowl

You have to shed a blood and lead
Let peace march go on and go ahead
No out side help can come to your rescue
As it has to be performed by some of you

I have observed brilliance in expression
They take credit by using it with passion
Where does it lead for obtaining real freedom?
The result in such manner is achieved seldom

Until you have valiant and brave people
Who can lay down their lives and are capable
Nothing can descend on your land of this beautiful earth
You will suffer and meet thousands death

Your continent has suffered since centuries
Engulfed with atrocities and endless miseries
Not a single soul has searched for end game
Who else can be taken into account or blamed?

Where are youngsters who don’t want to shed difference?
Where are their ideals and drawing wrong inferences?
What stops them for altering the course of wind?
Stop cursing self or country but dash against wall to find

No Difference

The other day I wrote a poem
and a friend asked me how I
could feel the pain of her kind,
as she was a different race from me.
You are white and I am black,
so how could you feel the pain I felt?
The answer was simple
we were not of a different race.
There is only one race, the human race.
We maybe different in the colour of our skin,
but we share each other’s pain.
I share yours and you share mine
whenever we are struck by grief.
We may eat different food,
but we both breathe the same air.
We see through different coloured eyes,
but we both see the same things.
There is no difference between us
except within our colour
and I am a man and you are a woman,
but that is where the difference ends.
We both have a heart that beats
and lungs that breathe in air.
No difference there.
If we are cut, we bleed
and our blood is red.
No difference there.
Therefore, you see I can feel your hurt,
feel the tears when you cry.
Now my question is if we were blind
what colour would you see?
The answer is simple,
the same colour as me.
There is no difference between us;
we each belong to the same race.
We are the same,
but with a different face.

No sir

It is nice to be addressed as sir
It adds to glory with different color
Person feels proud with achievement
Nice to rejoice with happy moments

Generally we give respected to aged persons
It has some feeling with reasons
We have parents at home and reminds of their presence
We respect any one when see them at once

It has remained tradition to accord honor
Either with excellence in field
Or some high position held
It is traditional to be known as specialist in the field

Let people honor your age
It is token gesture on page
What else they can offer?
As they have seen you rise and suffer

Not age only grants you respect
Even though that has been given to you in fact
People see in your a great strength
Take as much advantage as possible before death

So let them have opportunity to address
See the smile and honor on your face
To morrow they may take pride in having you as sir
As the time, days and even may pass the years

It is humbleness on the part of person to fee odd
When addressed often as sir or to that high of god
It takes away closeness from the known people
So it is preferred to remain free from any trouble

It is good when someone is placed at the top
There should not be any attempt to stop
Let people feel proud of a person who is one among them
To be known as diamond and priceless gem

Civilization may.........

Civilizations may emerge fresh and vanish
Remains may be found later on but not finish
Excavations may shed some light on glorious past
There may be some reasons for its extinctions very fast

How does nation emerge with historical traditions?
Deep rooted love for holy land without condition
Every citizen ready to shed blood for its pride and honor
All to defend irrespective of old or young major or minor

Nation may remain within secured boundaries
It may have all the prosperity with big industries
Peace and stability may still elude the nation
Other neighbors may not like to have good relations

How can sentiments and attachments remain intact without identity?
Stable nation with strong defense is all call of the day and necessity
Nation can only prosper and rise with strong and resolute action
We the people of nation has every right to defend without any reaction

Can any nation prosper without popular support?
Is it not essential to live as one nation with good rapport?
Does then any nation may you look towards you for any weak spot?
I think they will refrain from any mad misadventure and dare not

It will be great shame if we have to live under constant fear
It will be living death if constantly agony and pain we have to bear
Nation will pass through identity crisis and suffer with humiliation
To live under shame may add insult and find no reconciliation

It is right said “don’t ask what country is doing for you”
But ask “what you are doing for the country”
It has deep meaning in it and quiet sensible thought behind
Any nation can’t afford to go without it and reasonably find

No nation can advance and have identity of its own
If it has no clear policy and stand clearly known
At least people of other nations may look toward with a respect
They will think twice before and enter into pact

Ancient civilizations were knows for its tolerance
“Live and let others live” was slogan free from any interfearence
This always formed corner stone of policy
Liberty and freedom were not the words from mighty

Liberal thoughts must prevail and message should go across
Let there be the free world with liberty thoughts and no threats to pose
No intimidation of any sort with mutual territorial integrity in tact
Let there be free flow of people to uphold the humanity in fact

Respect To It

Respect to it has more than a one sided way
Do not expect the respect of others if respect to them you don't pay
You treat other people as you'd like them to treat you
And in turn they will give you the respect you are due
You may be the wealthiest and most powerful person in your town
And you feel that you have the right for to put others down
And others respect you or so to you it does appear
But between feigned and true respect the difference is quite clear
Despotic leaders believe the masses them do revere
But this sort of feigned adulation is adulation through fear
To protest in such circumstance they'd be risking their own lives
And the lives of their children as well as their wives
If you do not respect then respect do not expect to receive
Just a known fact of life that one ought to believe.

May rise again

Friends, All I read with great anguish
You are waging a battle for fight to finish
Still no hope of solution or end in sight
When tunnel will find its bright light

This all happening in our own land
Whom we then call foe or friend?
Our biggest enemy is in control of affair?
Where can we expect everything as fair?

I cry with pain and shed tears
Nothing more to side with you than to bear
We have vitiated the whole land with dishonor
I don't know what we are fighting for

Far flung areas suffer from neglect
We have not time to cater the need and act
All running in the name of God and almighty
What else to feel other than pity?

Though rich in culture and heritage
Still we live in tradition with old age
No one to care and no one to take forward
No means to live with any of the standard

I hear lot many stories for tortures
This can not be seen as bright future
What else do we have to nurture?
How can we make it fix tenure?

Still we live in prime age
Keep humans with chain and in cage
We have nothing to inscribe on the page
No desires left except to burn with rage

I will rise from the grave
I will be that much brave
But not when I am still alive
It is very difficult to survive and live

What to talk of freedom?
It appeals for nothing and heard seldom
It has lost its original charm
In freedom and liberty there is more harm

What will we live for our next generation?
Witness of prisons, ghettos or camps of concentration
Tortures and unbearable pain undergone or humiliation
Was this the award for hard efforts for alleviation?

I shall like to close the eyes and breathe last
It is pushing me to the corner very fast
I have no love left for hollow words
Staying in middle without looking forward or backward

The world has yet to witness the cruelty
It is attributed to our system which is faulty
How can one decide the fate of millions?
When they know nothing or have any liens?

I curse not for their negligence
But prefer to live with such ugly presence
Shall opt for no more violence
Life has become hell unbearable hence

*I may rise again from the grave*

(Depression Poem) Blood Letting Just To Feel

Blood letting just to feel.
Nothing is real.
Crawling in the dark.
Looking for an escape.
Will destiny just let be free.
In constant debt.

A slave to an system that knows no regret.
Your just so god damn insufficient.
Nothing absolutely nothing.
A march of the blind.
At war with everyone for just an tiny bit of breathing room.
Someone just let me out.

Blood letting just to feel.
Nothing is real.
Crawling in the dark looking for an escape.
Will destiny just let be free.
I'm on my knees praying to a god
i don't even believe in.
Just for a chance at a better existence.
One where i can run above the clouds.
Without having to worry about falling so far down.
So suddenly i hit the ground.
Got to run for cover.

Blood letting just to feel.
Nothing is real.
Crawling in the dark looking for an escape.
Will destiny just let me be free.
Maybe with a little more agony.
Pain turns into pleasure.
It becomes the systems measure.
Walk a mile in denial.
No willingness to face it faithfully,
honestly, and wholeheartedly.

Blood letting just to feel.
Nothing is real.
Crawling in the dark looking for an escape.
Will destiny ever let me be free.
Take your shackles and chains.
I just will not play this game.
See the writing on the wall thats my name.
Yes i was here but now i'm gone just so far gone.
Lost in space and time.
Searching for something i will probably never find.
Its just too late its already gone, already gone.

Blood letting just to feel.
Nothing is real.
Crawling in the dark looking for an escape.
Will destiny ever let me be free.
All i have ever wanted is that
i promised an was so wrongfully denied.

There Is Pain

There is pain
But no love
There is pain but no fix
I am just stuck in one spot
So i am hopeless
But saddly but yes 'Hopeless'
So i am lone in the world
Life is hard
There is pain
But no help
If no help
No fix
If no fix
No love
If no love
No respect for no one
There is pain
There is full of wonders
Just stuck
Just there
No where to go
Hopeless
But no trust in no one
Feel that i am going to HELL
There is wonders
There is pain
What can i do
Nothing
Just there
With no fix
Oh well
People has no more feelings
Like lost souls
I need help
Do not why
I have pain
Pain Pain Pain
Cry Cry Cry
No stop
But there is pain

Pain

Pain—sharpen but yet dull and painless.
So numb to the pain given to my body that instead of rejecting it, my heart automatically accepts the pain.
Like medicine to the soul, pain seems to be my healer.
Pain seems to bring together life and death.
Pain seems to soothe the soul because without Pain I would be weak: timid: short: and unfulfilled.
You see pain is needed to make a person stronger.
Pain is needed to make a person un-afraid of hurt.
Pain is needed to make a person stand up, be proud and walk tall because they are more certain of the future.
Pain is needed to make one feel more fulfilled.
All because of these feelings my heart becomes full but it brings me back to the root cause: PAIN.
This 4 letter word causes hearts to be crushed relentlessly. It dishevels emotions once grounded and bruises egos. Pain.
Pain. My painkiller.
Pain. My happy endings.
Pain. My way out.
Pain. My life.

One Word Took Joy Away.

Today i stand on the low mountain,
trying to memorize in ma brain,
to figure out what happened,
was it fate, mistake, or destiny,

I feel thirsty as am thinking,
as i can't believe it's happening,
after seven years of suffering,
now this was the finalizing,

five years trying to push me away,
we failed for that anyway,
Joy appeared seventh year on the way,
I felt flying having that Joy,

Even if people change on the way,
the original nature will always stay,
the power of the name will be high,
My joy didn't understand that anyway,

My origin tribe weaknesses,
I should be carefully on words selections,
counting my words was wickedness,
as actions speak louder than words,

i take my time composing poems,
finding jokes into different forms,
thank God i know the outcomes,
that human reactions isn't uniforms.

We count reactions we receive,
we forget the Environment we deceive,
we cheer and shout for things we deserve,
we forget how badly we behave,

Good words and things for us,
Bad words and things for them,
THESE ARE THE WORDS I CURSE,
'I DON'T RESPECT YOU THEY ARE.

If we believe and have faith in us,
God will always lead us in our respectable way,
if we count faults everyday,
waiting for what is pure,
we will loose it all,

AM NOT PERFECT I KNOW,
NEITHER DO I NEED THE CLEAN HEART,
IT'S A HIGH WAY TO RECEIVE ANOTHER JOY.

Dead And Gone

In years from now when I am dead and gone
Will people read the words that I had wrote
If they do will they agree with what they read
And if so truly, understand the feelings I had spoke.
Will they feel the pain and suffering that I felt
In the many days of my own life
Maybe they will etch my feelings inside their soul
And If so, I wonder for me if they will cry.
I wonder if anyone will go into a deep thought
After reading the words that I had spoke
And then will they think and understand that feeling too
While inside their soul or heart a memory I will had awoke.
Maybe they will be with me in those lonesome nights
When my soul and I felt so very alone
When I couldn't sleep so I had to write
While my soul stayed stationary, but my mind it did roam.
And will they feel the pain that I did feel
With every line that I suffered as I did write
Will they shed a tear that my lover never shed for me
While she was always in my heart and in my sight.
And when they finish my book and close it shut
Will they reflect my feelings as they walk away
Will they say they know the pain that I have felt
As they too had felt it in their very own days.
Will they cry the tears that was never cried for me
As they go searching for my last resting place
To give the sympathy they might say I deserve
While trying to visualize my soul through my face.
If they look and find and then walk unto my grave
I wander for me if i will receive long forgotten grieving
Telling me how sad and the pity they hold for me
After reading my words, maybe they will start believing.
And maybe they will walk to the graves of the others
The ones who did me wrong and who sealed my fate
Who made me the poet whom I had to become
Will they tell them their souls, and living they do hate.
So as I finish writing with these last few thoughts
I hope forever my words and feelings will continue on
As I know I am not alone and my pain is not fastened to me
But really who will know, until I am dead and gone.

A star has faded

Michael Jackson was truly beloved son
He is no more among us as person,
History will honor him and vacuum will always be felt
We bow our head with respect but no ice will melt

He had risen from no where with full of energy
Society had nothing to do except to raise bogey
What can they offer at the time death except white coffer?
They have nothing new in their store to offer

We can mark him as one of the greatest
He had new pattern with songs almost newest
Each of them studded with message of love and peace,
As early morning is crowned with cool breeze,

You served as legend and lovely human being,
Shrouded with mystery but spent honest living
Nothing is remembered for bad or good,
Music was your life and energy was served as food,

You survived and ruled the scene as king of kings
Melodies inter woven with chorus to sing,
All songs crowned with fame of jewels and diamond,
World was fascinated as newest star was found

Does the poverty play an important role to shape the destiny?
Is it compelling a `person to rise in revolt and stage the mutiny?
Or is there any way to stage peaceful demonstration?
Prove true to self and rise to the occasion

He lead peaceful march in the filed of music
His voice and dance created a magic
He knew what good music is and it’s basic?
It was only devotion and not any trick

Great musicians and artists meet with tragic end
Fame and name is not accepted in good spirit by friends
They easily fall victims to their treachery and deception
This is very much realized from the inception

World may never have artist of such caliber in coming days
No one may have mastery or innovative ways
It was his masterly stroke that showed new horizons
People pray and adore him only for these reasons

He may fed away from our memory but not completely lost
So long music remains on earth he will be wanted most
He has enough contribution to the elevation of good music and dance
Everybody has valued his role for the time to come or at once

I salute to soul who has suffered a lot,
He was treasure hidden in pot,
Soul has departed with great pain in the end
He did his best to avoid controversy and tried to mend,

He has died with honor but not that of martyrs
Whole, world wept and shed the tears
How much agony and pain he bore
We have no other option left but simply to adore

Martin Luther King Jr.

When I was little, I wanted to be
A speaker against prejudice and hating
My dad told me of a man of ground breaking
He spoke of equality for you and me

This man would bring people together
Of every creed and color
He tried to teach us live with each other
Side by side with toleration as brothers

He did not expect us to live in bliss
But with respect and without malice
He had a dream so strong and true
He had a dream for me and you

His life was short and not so perfect
He was simple man and a born sinner
A master of words and a deal spinner
But he was a model, a man to respect

His life was cut too short one day
By a man filled with fear and hate
If they were both alive here today
He would wipe the slate clean and pray

The good in his heart
Has lived on today
It shows when we show
Respect for each other

We hear of Equality, Peace, and Love
These can be all be linked
To that man who had a dream
To let freedom ring

His dream lives on today

Black And White So Alike

In my journey in life, I met many people and many issues
and I used many tissues, cried many tears thru the years.
I found people of color are similar to white and alike
in so many ways, they have feelings like white people
and maybe even more, people say to me why you bother
with people of color, I say people are people, color
and white are so alike, have feelings so alike and they
can bond like anyone else, talk for hours and laughs
about little things and big things.

People of color and white are so alike I am greatful to have
met special people in my life, make me feel good when I am down,
make me laugh when I cry, tell me its okay to feel sad, and thats
not bad to feel down sometimes because thats how it is, People of color and white so alike in many ways, they share sorrow and pain, cry
and laugh together, have long or short lunch or just walk
around corner its still something to talk about.

People of color and white so alike in many ways and thats what I say
and I will miss my friend now that she moved on, but our friendship stayed on....

Why Expect More?

Why do we expect so much?
When it is not needed as such
Why do we blame whole system?
When we are to be blamed for them

We want the speedy disposal of case
We want it to be done in any case
We pass money under table
Help the system to fail and crumble

What is right and wrong way?
We have gone far away
Rich and affluent are least interested
Remaining things we have spoiled and infested

Don’t worry about nation for God’s sake
Still nothing is worsened or at stake
Keep murderers and corrupt people at bay
We may find the bright sun with its ray

Let us build the nation and adopt
Else nothing can stop it from going bankrupt
Question is irrelevant for electing right person
He can be grilled and questioned for many reasons

We have remained illiterate and unconcerned
We rise slow and don’t react until cornered
Problems were this before and may continue even after
You can feel sorry for plight or burst into roaring laughter

We are stupid not to realize the consequences
Many deaths are reported every day for instances
Farmers die, and politicians thrive
We struggle hard only to survive

We have shed blood not for only to vote
The freedom is after valiantly fought
How many people lost their lives?
Can any one not come forward for pain to relieve?

There may appear rainbow in sky
We need simply not to ask why
What can we do for our beloved country?
Are we ready to share burden and willing to carry?

Michael Jackson (my thoughts)

he came into this world to be a star.
the most beautiful voice i heard by far.
he started his career at a very young age.
his voice heard on the worlds stage

he did not have much of a childhood.
but! it would'nt have done him too much good.
his destiny was set at the age of five
to make everything come alive.

MICHAEL! you've been an icon for over forty years
and throughout the world, people are shedding tears.
you were loved, much more than words can say
and now you've been taken away.

you were known as the' King Of PoP'
and that is something which will never stop.

ELVIS was the king of rock,
and JAMES BROWN the king of soul.

but your music will never grow old.
your dance style and hypnotic flair
sent chills down the spines of all who cared.

you passed all barriers known to man
when on stage you took the stand
and sang with all clarity, the way the
race barrier ought to be.

if only all the world was able to see
the pain that you had locked up inside
and the pain you had to hide.
because family members
would be hurt, and it started from your birth.

i thank you MICHAEL for these memories
for they will always stay with me.

Rage (Vita-mix)

Let's face the music
I think that it's time
What's the use when the future
Looks so unkind?
Life and death
The choice we make
Revolution
The line my mind takes
Win or lose, hey
What do you say?
Gotta cha- cha- cha- change
Check it out and see, there may be a better lifestyle
My hopes are as big as the sky
My dreams are wider than wide
One day we'll be
Absolutely cruelty-free
March on
Unleash the spirit
Rise above all fear
Into the light
It's a world affair
Don't waste a minute
Let the heart decide
It's time to care
What is this sad fascination
To rip off another's skin? (shame, shame, shame)
Fancy people in fur coats, what a pitiful sight
Leather is dead, it's not so nice
(rage)
March on
Unleash the spirit
Rise above all fear
Into the light
It's a world affair
Don't waste a minute
Let the heart decide
It's time to care
Stop, think before you chew
Don't eat a creature that won't eat you
Food for everyone
Let's all eat, it's so much fun
Let that chicken be, a cow is not a factory
Fast food slaughter's a criminal waste
We've got to tune ourselves into a new morality
Make some improvement on the human race
Rage
Each time I turn around
Rage
It tears my heart apart
Rage
Each time I see the blood
Hey now
Sentimental feelings are just not good enough
March on
Unleash the spirit
Rise above all fear
It's time to care
March on
Unleash the spirit
Rise above all fear
Into the light
It's a world affair
Don't waste a minute
Let your heart

I want to dream of flying

I want to dream of flying
Soaring high
High up in the skies
High above my sorrows
High above my sufferings
High above my peers
High in the sky
To feel the freedom
And the peace
And the mercy
And the happiness
A weightless life
Of joy
Where I get what I want
And not thrown to the ground
And not made a fool
Not called one
Not felt one
Not seen one
And not seen fear, either
To explore my world
And get what I like
And taste what I like
And smell what I like
And hear what I like
And feel what I like
To be happy
And approach life
In it's easiest and sweetest way
And love where I live
With the people I will live with
People I'll like and appreciate
Good people
Up there in the sky
Oh, let me dream of one please Lord
