You sounded well with optimism
You were afraid of criticism
That kept you behind the steel wall
Impregnable and quite tall
You were idol and inspiration
Grown out of sentiments and relation
Quite different from rest of category
I felt it as precious gift from almighty
I longed for your association
It was never to be materialized even in isolation
You were like distant dream and impossibility
Beyond anybody's reach and probability
You preferred infant stage and childhood
That had nothing to bother about neighborhood
You wanted truth to prevail all the times
It was absolutely suiting me all the times
You promised me to be on line
Keep each word that may confine
Not to deviate from hearts border
Whatever is the outcome for maximum to offer?
I am unsure of her promises
She may not follow it and miss
But she is true to her words
I can always think of her honesty and look forward
She is different from entire womenfolk
Prefers dignity, honor and less to talk
Such things drive me crazy and force to think
I must swim together or sink
She may be forced to alter her thinking

As poet
As an poet I was little afraid
As virus threat was often laid
Computer stood silent for many days
This was unknown trap laid in many ways
I politely said for being an ordinary poet
Preferred to write in low tones and remained quiet
Assessed the mood correctly and wrote in earnest
It was just an approach to serve it at best
I was blamed by many as having soft corner
Poets are generally believed to be good poetry lovers
Move easily with sentiments and Played lovingly
I laughed at criticism and went on willingly
She knew about some local language
Some of the words were put and managed
I could not conrol but laughed and expressed
I appreciated her and skillfully assessed
She said about her appreciation of life
Happy in home with kids and leadig as very godo wife
Poetry as her second best choice to express sentiments
I was moved with her resolute approach and movement
I don't how she made her forceful impact!
I had no reason to offer and certainly act
She was coming near with all her creations
It was full of authentic assertion and presentation
She may stay as long runner
I presumed and felt as beginner
She had intent of improving wih time
I saw in her a well known potess for times to come
I was drawing near her
Her approach was nice and friendlier
Why not? All poets must exchange fairly

A not very far
I had no courage to ask for any change
It was assuming with some thought with your age
I dreamed of having some sort of alliance
I had really wanted dependence and reliance
You had very long association with me from childhood
We had spent happy moments in the neighborhood
It had no bearing of our future relationship
Though we were attached loosely in friendship
I never tried to know or probe your mind
You were there at stone throw’s distance to find
I never thought of making you as permanent partner
Thought it was to happen sooner or later
It remained not as illusion but distant possibility
I had not thought of its probability
It did flicker in mind on several occasions
It only helped in strengthening the relation
I had no close shave off or sweet fight
You were through friend and always right
I wished not to loose you from my sight
Same thought troubled me too in night
As I was unaware of another side
The area of perception remained very wide
We had no time to converse seriously
Even though it harped on me continuously
It did occur to me sometimes
That same may be the case all the times
Possibly she may be thinking on same lines
Though I could notice only one side shine
Some possible forecast I could make
It seemed to me it would be easy cake walk
I preferred less and less acquaintance

I had to wait for right moment

She would not concentrate and look around
I was sure something new may be found
It was her turn now

I did not know how would she come forward?
But really waited for sweet and nice words
She managed finally and came closer

She whispered in ears and ran away
I was quite amused to find the way

To Live For You
Yes my Lord, I know what to do, and that Lord is to live for you,
To live for you wherever I go, even in places that I do not know.
For all my tasks at any place, are guided always by your Grace,
Grace that will see me through, everything that I’m called to do.
Your arm Lord is not too short, and this I can personally report,
For you supply the needed power, always in that darkest hour.
Sufficient is your Grace for me, as you always lead men to see.
When it seems darkest Lord, you always seem to open a door.
I just need to go about my day, walking down the narrow way,
Not turning to the left or right, as I keep you Lord, in my sight.
As it’s the times that I look away, that I stumble along the way.
But you always take my hand, and help me to regain my stand.

A rigid stand
You can’t experience certain things unless you strive
It remains dead process unless you revive
It might ahve beeen delayed because of rigid stand
It is altogether unwarranted and diffreant trend
Nothing can go right as per simple logic
It has sound reasons with good basic
You got to compromise on certain aspects
It draws you in success with respect
It can lead you no where if you have only one composition
You got to deviate from your stated position
It is no good to follow rigid and uncompromised attitude
It may send you in isolation and solitude
You must come to the terms for solution
It is good to have principle and resolution
It can’t work in all the conditions
This forces you to believe in superstitions
It may not harm you in any way
It will not take you far away
You mayhave clear insight to follow the trend
It will definitely have some logical end
Try to act in uncompromised manner
This can be understood by even beginner
There is certain level where you must leave
It wise to follow correctly and believe
You may be appreciated for principled approach
Privately they may may condemn move as such
They will critcise it as unpracticable and rigid
It may offer no solution or offer you any lead
It has helped nobody
It has landed in trouble everybody
People may secretly laugh at your reversal
You may not withdraw and ask any addressal
It is good to follow
But in practice it doesn’t allow
It must have practical answer

Broken Promises
Just another broken promise.
Your words are really cheap.
You're writing cheques with your mouth.
Your body will not keep.
They say that love is action.
Not simply just a word.
If that's the case, I've never felt.
I've only really heard.
You've said it many many times.
When push it came to shove.
I truly honestly believe.
It's only you, you love.
The times you said, the things you'd do.
But then you would forget.
You would work as hard as you wanted to.
Until you had to sweat.
Things got tough, you packed it in,
And threw it all away.
Instead of putting in effort.
You'd rather go out and play.
I tried and tried, the work I did.
Make our world a better place.
You sat right on the sidelines.
While I went and ran the race.
The same excuses “I forgot”.
I've heard it all before.
The hurt I felt and feel again.
I can't take it anymore.
You say “Don't sweat it! ”, “”It's no big deal! ”
“Be thankful for what you've got”.
But to me it is the little things,
That really mean a lot
I take your broken promises.
That fill my broken heart.
I'll tell you what they do to me.
It rips my soul apart.
Again, I bet you'll blow it off.
You'll say what you want me to hear.
You'll take the promises that you make.
Then make them disappear.
So talk your talk, I'll walk my walk.
I've done everything I can.
To keep my promise and my word.
I truly am a man.

Hurtful words
Do we know it and take it to mind?
Do we ever bother to go deep and find out?
The damage caused by our hurtful words?
Irreparable damage and crack in relation form now on words
Do we every try to know to stop somewhere?
Take halt for rest and breathe slowly there
Though life being constant move and no stop
Let us make it all out success and not a flop
You have limited means to survive
A thin ray of hope to try and revive
Yet as best as you can strive hard
Complete resolve to do something and look forward
A day and time is pre determined and fixed
Hardship and happiness is deliberately mixed
Why not to build single tract to walk?
Why not restrain when prefer peace to talk?
Life may not allow us to advance further
Still we may try to go far and farther
The mission may end up in between
Still we are hell bent and very keen
It is difficult to appease all
Not all may receive it as generous call
Some may want complete as lion’s share
Rest may feel offended and deliberately stare
We can move as slow and steady
It may spoil the show if we try to be speedy
It can cover only what is expected
Rest of all can be left to be interacted
You may need all help and assistance
It may require follow up with persistence
You may not be in position to cut much ice
But if you can do little it will be considered very nice
You can not share financial burden
You can extend even aid often
How can you help then to mitigate their sufferings?
Few words of solace and little bit of kind word offerings
They are aware of their plight
They are even prepared to fight
They need someone to guide
No aid wanted but someone trustworthy to confide
Not all may be prepared to come out in open
Take their grievances to be heard and try to reopen
If such feeling is gathered around
Then it will shot sure success round
It is speculated that life can be ended soon and is very much uncertain
It is difficult to follow all norms and in possible ways to maintain
Yet the human mentality is such that it may not accept defeat or setback
They will double the efforts to gain the lost ground and with force come back
