One of the best

Can any one claim and dispute?
The position of mother and her repute
The new born wait eagerly for early food
Mother holding it high in neighborhood

It has natural backing and understanding
Mothers always stand firm in defending
Whatever may be the cause she is always there?
Children are safe with no worries or fear

How come mothers remain unconcerned?
No temptation for anything even if offered
Nothing can deter when children are waiting at home
Rushing to nest with food in mouth for welcome

What a joy to feel when al the mouth opens!
Take food one by one still keep eyes close
Direct feeding with full contentment
Nest so high with no possible movement

Birds or human beings, love has only one language
Discharge your obligation and leave behind imprint on page
It is recognized already even if not told on the face
Mothers may always remain in fray with lively race

See the birds with no worry and no talent?
Timely arrangement even with all the materials absent
No expertise yet pleasant display of safe nest
Free from any danger and considered to be one of the best

A Mothers Love

A mothers love is suspose to be unconditional
mothers are understanding and helpful
mothers are there when you are down and then they brighten your day
A mother keeps her children safe from harm
a mother listens when the child tells them how they feel
a mother isn't suspose to yell, raise a hand, or condemn them
A mothers love is suspose to be unconditional and understanding and forgiving
so if there is a mother who dosen't agree with none of these things, then my question to you is why? ?

Who is a Mother

Who is a Mother?

A mother is someone
soft and kind

Firm not harsh

Someone who is always
willing to give a listening ear.

Someone we cherish each
and everyday

Mothers are rare like
precious gems

Many have children
but few mother them.

Mothers unique

World around
Mother this day
celebrations abound.

Mother who dare goes by that name?
Only them that know, to nurture,
Care and understand.

Mothers near and far stand tall
Be you Aunt, Grandma or Mother dear

Mother – who is Mother here?

A Mothers Love

A mothers love is everlasting, forever
A mother and her child will always be together
A mothers love for her child through the smiles and the tears
Will stay strong for years and years
A mothers love will never die
Even if sometimes her child makes her cry
A mother can really reach up high, and touch the sky
When next to her is her child
A mothers love will reach beyond the grave
When a mother is with her child she will always be brave
Two children or one, daughter or son
More precious than the stars above
You can never take a mothers love

SONNET: And This is Life!

Two Birds, a male and female met at last;
They found the tree on which to build their nest;
But soon, their little ones came rather fast;
The Birds hadn’t time for love-making or rest!

The Wind blew strongly; scorching was the Sun;
The Rain fell heavily upon their nest;
Rearing the young ones was both strain and fun;
Even a Snake came to their nest as guest1

But God helped them to find the worms for food;
And Spring replaced the Winter’s freezing cold;
The Birds laboured all life as best as could;
Their young ones turned adults; and they grew old!

When Death came like a robber in the night,
Both Birds never offered the slightest fight!

Remain in cage

Who would love to remain in cage?
With forceful confinement and bondage
No one I think on this beautiful earth
Life can be totally free only after death

Whole sky has remained a free zone
For birds to fly in air and come down one by one
In search of food and again air borne
Think of a scene when such freedom is suddenly gone

Many organizations are now working for freedom
Help secretly with funds and moral support even
Who do noble work for birds that are kept in cage?
The birds may like to live free but held under captivity and bondage

Birds must find their safe heaven
Lots of gardens must be brought up even
Forests are fast depleting with dangerous exposures
Their existence is at stack and life not very sure

If they can’t use their language then we must understand
Love and kindness must be shown and treated as natural friends
They are inseparable part of God and nature
If we have right to live then they too need to be assured

Set them free and allow natural hide outs
We have made them extinct and there is nothing to talk about
When we don’t like to remain under occupation?
They are no different from others in such relations

Think of a person kept in prison with lavish food
He won’t feel at comfort or anything good
If movement is restricted then liberty ends
And if liberty ends we are reaching dead end

What is use of beautiful garden if there are no visitors?
Flowers may be blooming but no birds to venture
Why not we have them some places reserved?
In this way our interest may be well served

Life for mother and child

Life for mother and child remains same
Whether black or white they claim
Nature is hard and luck is not fair
Wind blows harshly but not the air

How many months of heavy load
Spending time on open road
Struggling to earn for new born baby
Still looking towards sky and feel happy

Not all mothers may be that much lucky
The birth of baby may not be smooth but very risky
The sun may be at its peak
Mother may cry in pain and feel very weak

Beast may be just dry
As no nourishment even after good try
Yet it is allowed to suck
So many dreams are struck

Mother wants full strength and wellbeing of child
She is there to bear all odds and still feels not wild
The child is like pearl in her eyes and very precious
She tries to protect from sun, rain and serves continuous

African mothers have suffered a lot
Against nature and human beings fought
Still no hope of peace in near future
What to talk of all children for sure

They definitely demand an answer
Only God has answer or with some fewer
It is man made crisis and prevails unabated
All mothers are alike and simply equated

Where there is nothing, only black color fits
On arrival there is distribution of sweets
He is very much on the face of earth
And remain so till the arrival of death

Let us not degrade mother’s position
In all the seasons she bears same composition
Whether in desert, hot sun or in heavy rain
She has all kinds of hostilities to face with pain

I wish to bow my head to all mothers
Forgive us for all our sins and don’t bother
We love you all and cherish too
You are one that never goes off mind and stays through

We love your company and may want till the end
You are the only one as companion and true friend
You can never be black or white in our heart
You are embodiment of love and lovely piece of living art

Some Mothers Son

Some mothers son lies in a field
Someone has killed some mothers son today
Head blown up by some soldiers gun
While all the mothers stand and wait
Some mothers son aint coming home today
Some mothers son aint got no grave
Two soldiers fighting in a trench
One soldier glances up to see the sun
And dreams of games he played when he was young
And then his friend calls out his name
It stops his dream and as he turns his head
A second later he is dead
Some mothers son lies in a field
Back home they put his picture in a frame
But all dead soldiers look the same
While all the parents stand and wait
To meet their children coming home from school
Some mothers son is lying dead
Somewhere someone is crying
Someone is trying to be so brave
But still the world keeps turning
Though all the children have gone away
Some mothers son lies in a field
But in his mothers eyes he looks the same
As on the day he went away
They put his picture on the wall
They put flowers in the picture frame
Some mothers memory remains

A Tribute to Mothers on ‘Mothers’ Day ‘09’

A mother keeps the human race going!
She gives the kid(s) the important training;
She does the baby’s cleaning and nursing;
She tends to children’s bathing and cleaning.

A mother is the crux in kid(s) growing!
And children into adults keep turning;
She does the child’s dressing and nail-paring;
She sings the songs when child goes off sleeping!

A mother keeps the home and does cooking;
About the children all, she keeps thinking;
Most days, she does the chores and dish-washing;
She hardly gets some time for own sleeping!

A mother loves to work and keep slogging!
Sometimes, in vain for help, she keeps begging;
Some modern moms take to even blogging;
A few spend much time at husbands, nagging!

A mother knows the art of good loving!
Some are good in punning, joking, rhyming;
A mother teaches kids at fine writing;
She spends the night in ‘about all’, dreaming!

A mother soul is fixed to kid(s) rearing!
To problems all, she gives a good hearing;
Nothing amiss can escape her seeing;
At times, she gives the kid(s) a good beating!

A mother tells kid(s) to be God-fearing!
Some mothers can be bold and ev’n daring;
Some mothers can’t stay without arguing;
Good mothers believe in giving / sharing!

A mother is a great human being!
When someone leaves, she keeps her hand(s) waving;
For love sometimes, some mothers keep craving;
The world somehow keeps most mothers crying!

Mothers always

Mothers always support their children
Don't leave them alone in critical times even
Whatever the case may be
She will make the children to feel free

After attaining comfortable position
We relate incidence with nice composition
It is nice to admit sweet memory
When she is no more with us to feel sorry

As the cycle changes, we move on
From childhood to adulthood we have smoothly gone
There we act differently and behave
Forget about her part as if didn't have

But childhood memory may never fade
As mother never considered this as trade
It was natural bonding and love
She always comforts us when we go to her

Females generally in any form stand with respect
They are caring and kind when time comes to act
It may be natural inheritance for the girl in fact
Where as males behave differently and strongly react

God has given them kind heart
They always remain as inseparable part
Till death they won't leave us for a moment
She has nothing to feel bad about us or resent

As There Aren`t Safe Nests...

A migrating bird chirps into my ears,
'Can you make a nest for me that will be safe for ever? '
I don`t know what he means by a safe nest
For my nest has been on the verge of a collapse.
He flies away dreaming about a safe nest.
That leaves me with a question, ' Where to fix a safe nest? '
Safe nests should never be on the branches of trees
For trees themselves are tormented by storms and quakes.
Safe nests shouldn`t be on the roofs of man`s homes either
For his mischevious kids may throw away the eggs.
Safe nests should not be under the water or in the skies
For the fury and the terror of these elements are disastrous.
Safe nests shouldn`t be anywhere that eyes see or ears hear
For there are humans living on this earth.
You migrate my dear bird to anywhere you feel it safe
And never return to these unsafe homes.

2Oth WHO WBW Celebrations: Breast-milk is Still, the Very Best!

‘Breast-milk is best, ' most doctors surely vouch,
By working mothers or one sick on couch;
It gives the babe, the human warmth and touch!
Only the lazy moms would try to grouch!

The first secreted milk Colostrum's, good,
With nutrients, immune bodies - great food!
To give her baby this, all mothers should;
Turn weak if 'tis denied, the baby could.

The Almighty destined Eve bear children
With labour-pains, and raise them up even;
The suckling-reflex too comes from heaven;
Breast-milk is best - a fact, long back proven!

Contents are ideal for the child always;
Container's ready, hygienic all days;
Matching the baby's hunger, sucking pace,
Breast-milk has kept healthy, the human race!

Milk gently comes through nipple's holes like spray!
The mother burns more calories each day;
‘The lactose suits the baby', people say;
The uterus gets back to size this way!

No formula can replace breast-milk's place!
Breast-milk is clean, sterile in every case;
The baby's brain and gaze well-developed stays;
The habit builds a bond of love that pays!

Breast-feeding does not affect maiden's form;
'Tis natural for mothers, does no harm;
It keeps the baby snug, busy and warm;
Well breast-fed baby stays happy and calm!

‘For babies' sake, let mothers learn the craft;
Breast-feeding is an art that should be taught;
The mind and hormones play a magic role;
It helps mother-hood to achieve its goal! '

‘Understanding the past - Planning the future! '
Dedicated by the Dean, IRT PMC Perundurai, TN, India
To all mothers and would-be mothers, world-wide.

The Crown Of Life

THE days, the doubts, the dreams of pain
Are over, not to come again,
And from the menace of the night
Has dawned the day-star of delight:
My baby lies against me pressed--
Thus, Mother of God, are mothers blessed!

His little head upon my arm,
His little body soft and warm,
His little feet that cannot stand
Held in the heart of this, my hand.
His little mouth close on my breast--
Thus, Mary's Son, are mothers blessed.

All dreams of deeds, all deeds of day
Are very faint and far away,
Yet you some day will stand upright
And fight God's foes, in manhood's might,
You--tiny, worshipped, clasped, caressed--
Thus, Mother of God, are mothers blessed.

Whatever grief may come to be
This hour divine goes on for me.
All glorious is my little span,
Since I, like God, have made a man,
A little image of God's best--
Thus, Mary's Son, are mothers blessed.

Come change, come loss, come worlds of tears,
Come endless chain of empty years;
They cannot take away the hour
That gives me You--my bird, my flower!
Thank God for this! Leave God the rest!--
Thus, Mother of God, are mothers blessed.

At every moment

At every moment I die to rise again
Nothing can deter me not even pain
I may not work exclusively for gain
I may enjoy remaining with nature and getting wet in rain

That is exactly what goes around
New joy is in offing and always found
You may be seen loitering round
It may appeal and looks very sound

I may be simply lost with imagination
There may be lots of questions
I may think wise and equate
Confide to friends and relate

I am nature’s lover and love birds
I enjoy their language in nice words
Do they wish to convey something?
Have they to do it with anything?

They on scene with melodious voice
There is pleasure in their noise
They are in mood and ready to poise
It is preparation to go ahead and poise

If birds can leave nest in search for food
Why can’t I try to reach out for good?
They flock together and guide the path
Go quiet on surface of water and enjoy the bath

It is not quest for anything but only survival
They have their own way and attempts for revival
They will not only look after wingless new born
Though they may face the danger and easily torn

I should stay with what ever I have
I need to be bold and brave
If birds can do with self dependence
Why should I not go ahead without interdependence?

There may come success and failure
They may alter the course for sure
I must stay calm with composure
You won’t need anybody to reassure

Try to be as near as possible with truth
It may be useful and worth
Why you need outright conquest?
When you have tried your best

It is not bad to remain and live for self
Sea too is obsessed with treasure in shelf
What is use of holding it when can’t be taken to use
Help to create congenial atmosphere and irritants to defuse

You may live to see world again
It may be altogether different with gain
There may be joy and happiness without pain
Worries may disappear and take to back seat again

Live full life with strong zeal
Try to confine but not to conceal
Don’t lock your self but reveal
It may then prove as holy deal

Everybody is not blessed with fortune
Not all people will dance with your tune
It is not necessary that you may be offered with rose
You have the right to for it and choose

I salute you, all the ladies
who work late to keep on the

I salute every mother out there
who is responsible with looking
after the family, bringing joy, love
and happiness inspite of the dark
moments in the family...

I salute and put on all the single mothers who work up early and
work late just to keep on the lights on and putting food on

I salute and put on all mothers
on the radar, for the tremendous
efforts to keep the family happy
and striving to ensure the family

First Flight

Brand new baby birds in a nest
don't you fall to the ground.
For there are too many predators waiting
and quietly lurking around.

Don't leave your nest 'til you can fly.
Be patient and bide your time.
Then when you feel your wings are strong
then out of your nest you'll climb.

Now see what you were born for.
Flap your wings and soar into the air.
The sky's the limit for such as you.
As for me I can only stare.

Mothers Day

Mothers day
is not like valentine day
where you care for your mother like money
since in 2012 it was on monday

mothers love and care
its so good that it floats in the air
although mothers take care for the hair
since they sit bossy on the chair

children celebrate them and rejoice
while drinking coke and ice
een the mother sits while eating rice
since their day is so nice

we dance and sing
as the father gives the mother a valentine ring
she sits on the chair relaxing
since she doesnt need to be working

we thank all the mothers since they are not mean
as their day is tight like a skinny jean
their work is sweet like a dream
all you have to do is say
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

Wishing And Willing..

When the baby kicks in the womb,
A few parents touch to have the kick,
Most mothers excited, while the fathers too,
A few miss this opportunity as not bothered to,
The crying of the babies never fails to wake up,
The loving hearts of the mother and father,
The crying of the mothers never fails to shaken up,
The young hearts of children, who see the rift,
Hearts of children love their mother,
As it listened to her beats day and night,
Hearts of children are attracted to the mother,
As she is the one, who listens to their blabber,
The crying of babies never fails to wake up the mother,
The crying of mothers never fails to shaken up the children.

Leave Me Alone

As for this song
Ill set the mood
Theres nothing wrong
Prefer solitude
Alone to think
Of what I dont know
The deeper I sink
The further Ill go
Nothing to fear
No need to hide
Im already there
Came in from outside
Safe in my nest
Home sweet home
No invited guests
I want to be alone
Leave me alone
Leave me alone
I wish you would
Leave me alone
Leave me alone
I just want to be alone
Its better this way
No one will get hurt
If you stay away
I wont lose my shirt
If I have become
Too defensive
Im not the one
You have to live with
Chorus
I want to be, I want to be
I want to be, alone
Dont feel sorry
Its not your concern
Only the lonely
Are the ones who get burned
Safe in my nest
Home sweet home
No invited guests
I want to be alone

The Virgin Martyr

Every wild she-bird has nest and mate in the warm April weather,
But a captive woman, made for love -- no mate, no nest has she.
In the spring of young desire, young men and maids are wed together,
And the happy mothers flaunt their bliss for all the world to see:
Nature's sacramental feast for these -- an empty board for me.

I, a young maid once, an old maid now, deposed, despised, forgotten --
I, like them have thrilled with passion and have dreamed of nuptial rest,
Of the trembling life within me of my children unbegotten,
Of a breathing new-born body to my yearning bosom prest,
Of the rapture of a little soft mouth drinking at my breast.

Time, that heals so many sorrows, keeps mine ever freshly aching;
Though my face is growing furrowed and my brown hair turning white,
Still I mourn my irremediable loss, asleep or waking --
Still I hear my son's voice calling "mother" in the dead of night,
And am haunted by my girl's eyes that will never see the light.

O my children that I might have had! my children, lost for ever!
O the goodly years that might have been -- now desolate and bare!
O malignant God or Fate, what have I done that I should never
Take my birthright like the others, take the crown that women wear,
And possess the common heritage to which all flesh is heir?
