One little comment can really change your life;
It can make you feel good or cut you like a knife.
As a result, you may now want to try something new,
Or with an aspect of life, you may now be through.
You mull the comment over and take it to heart;
The speaker of the comment, unaware they’ve played a part.

The chances are that, of the comment, the speaker has forgotten,
But you are now left feeling really encouraged or really rotten.
Some comments are just throw-a-ways,
But they can easily make or break your day.
Some comments stick forever in your mind,
Whether they’re really hurtful or really kind.

Many years later, a comment you may still be able to quote;

My dearest friends 1949.........when i am gone

As my eyes stretch and dip into the distant, I do clearly see
The many shadows silently and surely fast approaching me.
To those dearest friend i leave behind I want you to know
You were the best of blessing from Heaven above and more.
You've always shared my every single deepest thoughts,
And in my struggle confusion its just you I finally did, sought.
Yes... now i am old and wise to words that means little to me
As the cold biting winds carelessly blow right through me.
And someday soon in the mist of the fast moving time
They surely will boldy ask you if you knew the long gone me
Please smile and say that you were the greatest friend of mine
I can see and feel the dark shadows now fast enveloping me

Be Grateful

We always have something
to be grateful for,
our family and friends
whom enrich our lives
with their words of kindness
and their deeds of unconditional love.

We may at times be low in spirit,
feel we cannot carry on,
but we are grateful for the person
who will put sunshine in our lives.
Raise our sprits with their words
and plant a smile on our face.

Being grateful comes with no obligations
except to treat another
in a similar way.
Give them a lift in their lives,
plant a smile on their face,
then we will be grateful for
the good that we can do.

We should never turn away
that little cry for help,

Now quiet

I know you rarely speak
But make me completely weak
When I rise to stick the stand
You refuse me and fail to understand

I fall like mango fruit
It fails to appeal me or suit
How could I blink at those eyes?
Which were once open to my simple try?

No doubts you were like ivory idol
Carved out from glass as doll
I used to rejoice at simple appearance
Now I have lost it to as rare chance

Nothing to exchange now in form of words
Nothing to look behind as an action afterward
I am lying on ground with clopped wings
A bird alright but no melody in praise to sing

She promised me to be mine
It all appeared pleasing and fine
I was prepared to go for an extra mile
Something unusual took in between for a while

What was charm in her simple look?
Like good smell coming out from food as cooked
Where to start and where to end
She was like angel and heavenly sent

I was simple man in race
Completely lost in glamorous and innocent face
I asked for hand to be permanent
She had something else to comment

"No, dear I can't side with you"
This is correct and only true
What was fun then in any try to woo?
My all energy got lost and forbidden me to flew

I now look at no other charm

Go On

It hurts me more when you decline
My offer for to join for dance and dine
'No' you can't join me as I have some one
He has entered life earlier and can be taken over by none

What I had to do then when she has opened secret?
I was in no mood to withstand jerk and fate
How can one remain honest and render justice?
Why to make love in air when there is no commitment or promise?

I heard her patiently and gave simply reply
I can go no further and make further try
It is her wish and must be respected
Her words can't be angrily reacted

She is making fool of her self
Sea may have precious jewels at shelf
But love is not like any other commodity
It can be had only from a person with super quality

'Leave me alone' was curt reply from my side
'No friends even' I took pain to tell her and confide
Horizon may be vast and very wide
My life and world were limited to hide

I am deeply hurt and visibly moved
She did not try fairly for it to be removed
It has made me to think fresh about future relation

I am sunk for the want of firm land

You Are Ugliest

“You are ugliest woman of world” I lied to wife
She did not loose temper but showed me knife
One more word to this and you will be no more
I thought she was well within her right to feel sore

This is one of the funniest ways to pass the comment
No one would prefer it even if humorously sent
It has hidden message with little fun
But that can make man desperately run

Any friend, relative or even sons
They may have solid reasons
If you try to be little excessive
They may not remain submissive

It is human nature not to offer any retaliation
At the insulting tone or on special relation
It is taken as person in stride
Then the difference may be made open and look very wide

It may be worthwhile to offer sweet words
This system is spread all over and known in whole world
Why we never cross the road when danger is known?
Same way no bitter words to be used even if not of your own

You can’t relay misgivings on the part of somebody
It may never be liked by anybody
Not even by your kith and keens
Even though they are closely associated or have been

It is advisable not to lie on face
You can choose the words in phrase
That may be taken as simple legendary tale
You will be escaped from turning into pale

As you read this you will smile,
As I sit here and wonder for a while,
Wondering why you want to be with me,
Wondering do I really make you happy?
But than you see me staring, smiling, stuttering, lost for words,
You smile back,
And my stomach fills with butterflies and birds.

At Beautiful Home

I was at home
When you came to welcome
I was just your lovely friend
And you wanted it to end

To come near as much as possible
End the quest and put seal on final struggle
You embraced and proposed for divine bond
I consented to it as I was very much fond

Till that day onward
You are living piece with all the words
I speak with you under the influence of intoxication
Well deserved words of thanks and with appreciation

Life would have been incomplete
Had you been not there with me to compete?
Life had posed many ups and down
We hade jointly accepted it and owned

I look back with happy smile
When you are with me even for while
