Beat by beat heard,
pulse in mother’s womb,
question being asked,
whether mail or female,
I answered ' I don’t know'
Was the feeling lovely,
word by word remembered,
when recalled at ease,
remained unanswered,
why? ' I don’t know'
looked at the eyes,
tried to read between lines,
for ayes and no's
pushed mind very hard,
mind humbled, why?

ready to leave empire,
hut for palace,
and life to death,
no reson, why?
I don’t know,
was a 'wait' correct phrase,
answer for real,
can hunt be still on,
but for what?
I don’t know,
Will I die without?
Fulfillment of love,
is the life not so simple?

You may go for easy way out or try to find
The real crux of problem to have some escape
Try to think fresh and give it a complete reshape
Is it strong feeling to come and take shape of little child?
Why does she agree for total forgiveness and go very mild?
Is it divinity call to be responded by her with greater responsibility?
Is it not the genius call emerging from within to be followed with ability?
I read between lines the strong urge and decided to act
It was no game of love or hate but simple act to react
Why was that intense feeling for bearing a soul in womb?
Why initially I thought it like explosives used in bomb?
She had her own reasons to express true form
She was attached to earth loved creation like earthworm
It was in fact her womb that longed for some lively space
There was nothing new in her mental agony like mad race
She was expected to think on general lines of all mothers
She had followed family patters consisting of sisters and brothers
I bowed my head in respect to her wishful thinking
It saved me from negative thought and sinking too
What did she whisper in my ears when I was too close?
“I want junior man in my lap with same pose”
What an ideal thinking when she was really in turmoil?
Heart and mind at daily clash with mind ready to boil
“I feel jealous for being your close friend”
“I see in it as new beginning and not the end
Let stars and moon shine in their own sphere!
Why we should not acclaim our feat without any fear?
I couldn’t believe my eyes but saw the bright shine
She was perfect model with eyes so beautiful and fine

A pull close to chest
I pulled her close to my chest
I tried in earnestly to my best
It was real and crucial test
I had conveyed my desire at least
She asked help and guidance from her God
I failed to catch whether it was yes or nod
I could guess it was pure invitation
Simple “No” was now out of question
I revealed all about my past
She reacted angrily and very fast
I thought I was finished and did not last
At least I opened up and threw away the mask
Was it undoing of my best efforts?
Did I fail to maintain good rapport?
What did I expect from her to support?
Was my ship was landing at safe port?
I could read worry lines on her face
I did consider it as unique but mad race
She was not prepared or ready to lace
I was impatient to meet her and embrace
What did she offer me in return?
Did I expect any rough answer or “U” turn?
I was about go away and run
It had left me with sensational burn
I was burning with deep desire
I did all my best to admire
She was not the commodity on hire
But she was like volcano and live wire
Whenever I tried to go so close?

All these years
"Mom, how did you mange all these years"
"I am fed up to hear all these to my ears"
"Can't you tell how to overcome? "
My sweet girl cried and asked anything to welcome
I had seen some changes on her beautiful face
She was coming up like anything in this life race
She had seen nothing or heard about hard life
What will she do when enter in somebody's life as wife?
I looked at her tense worry lines
She feared about being sidelined
I was little taken back at her simple question
I thought it is worth here to mention
Girls at young ease are easy target
They will slip into golden dream set
Think of some handsome prince to come and wed
Take her away from parent's home and lead
I knew about the prevalent of such thoughts
They may fall into trap and simply caught
They may sometimes take such hasty decision
And fell short of expectations with no precision
I got nerves of her fears and consoled
Life is not that hard as she has imagined
I made her to understand the two sides of the coin
Life is simple and as easy as journey to join
I gave her of my fine examples
How life was so nice without any troubles
She may do even better when faced with reality
She was class of her own with fine quality
This worked like magic and she was again cheerful
Hr doubts were removed and she looked even beautiful

'Mother' is such a simple word,
But to me there’s meaning seldom heard.
For everything I am today,
My mother’s love showed me the way.
I’ll love my mother all my day,
For enriching my life in so many ways.

The Unanswerable Question
A simple gift.
Many things can be meant from it.
Love, friendship, kindness and caring.
All of these can com from such a simple thing.
A rose is such a gift.
But this can be used for many things.
A birthday, an anniversary, a holiday, a funeral...
How can a simple thing be so sad?
This is a question that cannot be answered.
For the ones that can answer are already in our memories,
waiting for the day that we will join them..
We live and learn,
trying to make the best of our lives as possible.
A simple gift to me only means one thing to me,
that the world isnt as great as we thought.

On the outside you can see it and it's plain to see,
I am on the inside hiding some denial in me.
And you believe,
I'm aware of it and know it.

It's obvious and shows.
But I don't.

I Can See It In Your Eyes
The first time I saw you
I felt weak inside
I search my heart and mind
For words I couldn't find.
Some how you seemed to see
What came over me that night
As a love began to grow
That would last for all time.
And you said, ''I can see it in your eyes
They're the windows to your soul
Sometimes they say more
Than words could ever hope.''
''We could wait a thousand lifetimes
Then never feel like this again
But when you look at me, that way
