Her wrinkle face
She was the only one in family
Elderly person with clear vision and noble quality
We all addressed her as “granny” with respect
She would never scold us for naughty acts
She will hide and keep for us as something
Even though we have plenty in house but it is special thing
She may come to us slowly with tremendous love
We will rush to her for chocolates that she may give
“Papa, don’t allow nine nine (grandma) to go away” we will insist
Let her remain with us and we shall make her walk on the way
Take her for morning stroll and evening walk
In this way she will feel happier and talk
The children have special liking for old persons
They are always kind and show enormous love with reasons
She has whole of garden before her in the form of lovely children
That makes her fully contended and miss no loneliness even
She may be almost ninety or more
Yet so much energy and will power is in store
Always praying most of the time with good faith
Not at all worrying about the approaching death
I learnt great deal her with practical lessons
She had troubled life in early stage and lived as helpless person
Then also she did not loose hope and kept us in her strong fold
We were her live hope and dear ones in the entire world
I won’t forget her when she will be gone
Though nothing more is left to be done
Her contribution and presence is like beacon to us
We pray almighty for her log life with full trust
Parents are after all one step ahead and plan for future
Not only for them selves but small kids and all for sure
They do not tire out easily as we do in our young age
As it is thrust upon them to rear us and ably manage
I salute her not because of her age or elderly person
But the way she has survived to see grandsons
May be second generation before her eyes to witness
Watch if you can minutely the beautiful shine on her wrinkled face

A home with grandma
Not all the homes are lucky to have grandmother
Children love grandma even more than mother
They have less attachment with the father
Grandma is all the time there to bother
She is generous and vast sea of affection
Al children are taken of with full care and attention
Grandma is such personality at home that needs no mention
She is there for all practical purpose for any prevention
She may guide us as to how the things are to be passed of or gone
Nothing escapes from her mind as it is practically performed or done
She has no forgone conclusions but with practical remedy
She also offers us stories with so much truth in comedy
Grandmamma remains so much healthy and stout
She has seen the ages with experience and knows all about
She has passed off all the storms at ease
She has now the big task to get it released
It is always nice to find elderly woman in home
She is protective cover for all the times to come
She is there to entertain us with all the dignity
The home is fine place to find her with all the qualities
What else can we expect from lovable grandma?
She moves in home with all her stamina
Sometimes we feel shame to walk with her
She complains about nothing and makes us to bother
It is honor to address her as grandma
She is no less important than papa
It is our luck that we have somebody to look after
The life would have turned us into miser
She is source of towering strength and inspiration
She is sought after by all children and asks for narration
She may have all the stories to be told with great effect
It is her gorgeous part that instills the confidence and will power to act
All the children are good listener
She is preferred to and remains as great admirer
It is easy to make joke or laugh it out
Dignity and personal honor is all about
It is honor and simple craze
Elderly women are considered in good phrase
Concealment of age makes it difficult and not easy
Still grandma remain at help of affairs and makes it rosy
One should be cautious while dealing with elderly person
They are easily offended for no reason
Their honor and dignity must be preserved at all the costs
After all it is pride that has to be counted as sacred most

Special entity
Nothing to compare with grand mother
As if some angel is living on earth for us to bother
With little sweet in hand and running after children
Falling on ground and again up to chase even
Why has she been glorified?
Her figure in family is very much magnified
House may look ghost mansion
As she is only one in house as symbol of unison
She has before her full garden
Son and in daughter-in -law with many children
Each one trying to get close and shower
The much needed love reserved for fewer
I feel whole world in her lap
I used to sleep sound with her tap
I will slip away from worry land
To go in oblivion known as dream land
Why grandmas and granny's are so popular
Even though their roles are not similar
One is with children by right
Other one has to make it by fight
Children miss both in person
They have close proximity with reasons
Grandma is always there to concede demand
Granny is painted by mother as special brand
There is something special in their eyes
Affection and love is in abundance and flies
What she after all deserve to be counted?
Not abused at all and forcefully hunted
Now we witness total change
They suffer and get ignored with the age
Confined in home and feel as if in the cage
Children and especially close ones shout at them with rage
Many old age homes have come into being
Not all the parents happily sing
They have their horrified tale
Happy here with no worry to pass or fail

What Do You Do
(8/17/11)
There is always this thought that enters our minds
Of always being left behind.
What do you do when all your loved ones have gone
And by yourself, you must carry on.
When all hopes and dreams are dwindling away
And on your knees you fall to pray.
When it seems that they fall on deaf ears
And you think that no one cares.
What do you do when you feel empty inside
And to people around you, you tend to lie.
What do you do when you come to an empty house
And your children are gone, and so is your spouse.
What do you do when you’re always in a daze
And people around you stay totally amazed
Wondering how you Face the day.
Then you wake up one morning and sitting
At the edge of the bed, and facing the day
You truly do dread.
Then you feel something stirring inside
A feeling so strong that it can’t be denied.
No matter how bad things are, you always
Have something to give- this is the reason
That GOD has elected you to live.
Helping people who are hospitalized
And have lost all faith and hope
And do not know how to cope.
The elderly who can not walk
And needs someone with whom to talk.
A person with cancer who doesn’t have
Long to live, and being able to put a smile
On their face, because it’s all you can give.
A child who has been in and out of hospitals
Since their birth.
Who can not do things that healthy children can do
And you hear your spouses voice come out of the blue.
Whispering in your ear, that you must share
All the love that you have inside, and put smiles
On those who just sit and cry.
We all have a purpose in our Older years
Other than waiting for death to knock on our door.
So I will get myself up and out of this bed
And to the hospitals I will head.
I will try to help every one that I can
And give them a shoulder and a helping hand.
Give HOPE, LOVE, AND FAITH
To all around, and when death comes you
Won’t hear a sound.

Who Must Take Care of Old-aged Parents?
Which child will care for parents when old-aged?
Which child will show compassion and respect?
Which child will find the time to talk kind words?
Which child reciprocates their affection?
Gone are the days of joint family system!
Gone is the sense of values in people!
Gone are the times when blood was quite thicker!
Gone with the wind is honouring parents!
Have parents not showered love on children?
Have they not slogged to give them life's comforts?
Have they not nursed them whenev'r they fell ill?
Have they not done their duties to their kids?
The world today is selfish to the core;
Children just want the wealth of parents old;
None volunteer to tend to old parents;
Children show scarce love to their parents dear!
What has then come upon children today?
Who should take care of parents, elderly?
Should not one's children take care of parents?
Much love seems lost in families these days!

To My Sons, Eddie & Edwin
You're my cute little son,
But you're always stubborn,
Fast to get anger and upset
Very small hearted person.
Why you so like that
Give me the reasons
Why? , why? , why?
Why you so disobedient person?
You all are clever
But lazy and hard headed
Sometimes, you are good
But you're very naughty boy.
Always Be a good boy
My boy, my boy,
Listen to elderly always,
Respect your parents.
Please study hard
Study smarter
Future in your hands
No one can change you
Unless yourself.
Don't play only
Remember to study things
You love and likes
Learn as much as you can.
Time is short,
Time never return,
Study when you're young
Study when you're grow up too.
Stop playing games,
Start your lessons on time
Stop fooling around,
Stop arguing with parents.
My sons, Eddie and Edwin
Always I love you all
No matter Where,
No matter When,
No matter How.
You're always my sons.

The Elderly These Days!
The younger birds have flown off far away!
Their parents aged are left alone today;
The nest looks empty, silent, everyday;
O Lord, show us your way- they pray!
Who cares who cares for elderly these days?
All children seem busy in their own ways;
Mere solitude is what the world repays;
Oh, what a blot on modern human race!
What love was shown by parents in years past!
They look now weary, dazed, with eyes downcast;
They live in penury and sickness fast;
’Tis years, their near and dear ones saw them last!
Cannot all children understand their plight?
Neglecting elderly is never right;
God sees their bloody tears when children fight;
The elderly need food, comfort, care, sight!
Our parents kept us warm when we were cold;
All children have a duty to ones old;
The elderly need young shoulders to hold;
Their virtuous deeds are worth more than all gold!

Sonnet: Walking With Nature
Oh how lovely ’tis to go for a stroll,
In the early morning or in evening!
When road is clear and you are the lone soul;
With cool a breeze and the lovebirds singing!
Oh how lovely ’tis to take a deep breath,
Brisk-walking when the air is very clean!
Life-span is lengthened and postponed is death!
Invigorating, the exercise has been.
Oh how lovely ’tis a solitary walk!
One’s mind thinking of things goodly ahead;
Having friend Nature, only one to talk,
And have a short rest there-after in bed.
The more a person endears friend Nature,
The more you remain healthy in future.

Sonnet- The Elderly
Show consideration for an aged man;
Show courtesy to elderly persons;
Inhuman ways to human lives, you ban;
To do a thing, have sufficient reasons.
Their frame is frail and mind is filled with fear;
Assault of any kind, they cannot bear;
They can’t see well or sleep or even hear;
The elderly need special love and care.
Their growing age is their sweet punishment;
They flex with age and become like a child;
Their Will-power is their great armament;
Their days are numbered- why should we turn wild?
Let’s look after the elderly with pride!
Their words are wise and let’s therefore abide.

Getting Old
When you’re young you think you know it all
Then you get old and life begins to unfold.
In their youth they don’t think ahead
The future is something they do not dread.
They feel that everything in life they can control
They’re young and strong and very bold.
Aaaah! Those beautiful days bring back memories
Of how simple life used to be.
Youth had respect for the elderly
And their fellow man.
Now the elderly they try to scam.
When they are older they will see
They want respect and to live with dignity.
they are young and they don’t seem to understand
That with age you may need a helping hand.
Everything in life comes in stages
It’s like a book when you turn the pages
It gets deeper and keeps you enthralled
Until the time that you reach the end
And you’ve lost all your family and friends.
The First stage is when you are a child
And someone is taking care of you for that while.
The Second stage is when you become a teen
And you feel like a king or queen.
You feel that you can not get old
This is what you believe at this stage in your life
Because you’re not looking at the struggles and strife.
The Third stage is the adolescent years
And you feel you’re in control and lose your fears.
The final stage is when you become old and gray
And your youthful years have slipped away.
You look back and ask yourself!
where did All those years go?
Why did I waste so much time?
And the most important thing is
That I am so glad I made you mine
For with you by my side I had a life divine.
So to the youth who have not gotten to this stage
Don’t get angry, and get rid of your rage.
There is no way to turn back the time
For time just moves straight ahead
You’re getting to the point that you now dread.

Lovely children
Life can be useless, dull and boring
The land will remain unfertile even if enough rain will be pouring
Some of the factors are playing dominant role in later age
We feel lonely and confined to golden cage
It is said that if home is without child
The human being may turn wild
He or she can not remain descent and kind
So much influence is exerted and we can easily find
A person becomes irritated
Though it is presumed and related
It feels some of the void
It is God gift and can not be avoided
Childless life is really curse
Their little presence helps for wounds to nurse
It is the movement that gives us joy
Life becomes purposeful to enjoy
Not all couples may be lucky to have children
Their life remains full of concern
The young age can pass of peacefully
But old age later on affects fully
It is like beautiful garden not having flowers
It is also quite pleasing to watch the showers
The flowers are product of that beautiful act
The God has gifted us them and it is fact
They are future of life and country as whole
The life may be remorseful and develop the holes
There may be no one to look after welfare and care
Life may be seemed as burden and place to go no where
Not necessary to have child from own blood
There are many under nourished and staving of food
They are most deserved flowers to be attended to
The God may be kind and merciful if we are true
The garden is desert if no flowers appear
What a pleasant and beautiful show it bears?
We would prefer to see then when go very near
The flowers should not plucked as they are very dear
The flowers of different colors are like children’
White. Whitish and black colors are seen often
The smile worn by child remain same and heavenly
We got to enjoy it and accept evenly
It is holy means to get easy with the on going passage
Children do help in spreading the love and message
It is only medium where by person can be persuaded
To lead normal and decent life and even dissuaded
No one can be that cruel to heavenly gift
The child can bridge the gulf or remove the rift
It is great momentum to witness the total shift
The life is elevated to decent level by affection and lift

Nurture the Elderly
All the elderly are all alone,
All alone in nursing homes.
Sleeping in beds with drugs
blurrying their heads.
Now this is our state of affairs right now,
before we had elderly helping out.
They lived to be healthy and take care of kids,
now we hide them away and make them forget.
Forget who they are,
for we labeled them thus far.
As drains on our society and economy,
not giving them respect or dignity.
Alzheimer's has a spiritual cause,
no family ties is the result of it all.
Now we need to give Elderly’s
a way to fit in,
to give them meaning to life
not make them a “has been”.
They could work at Daycares,
help with the children
because they have so much to share.
It’s a shame for one day we could be in their shoes,
we better change our ways, we have too much to lose.

Sad demises
We egret the demise of close and near ones
Miss their greatness and pardonable acts
Never bothering about unkind gestures
Forgiveness for all in their whole tenure
When father departed, we lost shelter
we were make to run helter scalier
there after we could regain the lost credence,
We definitely lacked the confidence
He did held supreme and pivotal position,
Hardship if any was out of question,
No one dared to point out at us or raise finger,
He never allowed the issue to linger,
I could recover some ground when lost mother
It was big jolt and blows yet another
She stood for all sources of courage and solace
We lived we in small house but felt in palace,
When all departed then I was left with only sister,
All hunt started to find for her a mister,
Mother always worried to find a good match,
Efforts were made many but couldn’t catch,
We always found mother in her,
Same affection love and good care
She handled it well with age maturity
Ladies are gifted with such nice quality
Such is life cycle which never stops,
Situation can be handled when it crops
Rain water may hit ground in form of drops,
Everybody may try to improve when show flops
Whether it is death, birth or rise and fall,
it should, be called as nature’s call
They are inevitable and must be accepted
It is God’s wish and must be respected
We should not loose faith or trust,
Wheels of life must move with vigor and thrust
Life has to be made lovely and beautiful
It must be lived with purpose and be successful
We may be grown like complete tree
All our children may feel secure and free
We may be able to give them what they desire
Our role may be then appreciated and admired
It is noble inheritance and we must treasure
Life should not be termed hard or can be measured
It has to be our efforts to remain fully assured
Live life king size with immense pleasure
Time may come you may also prepare to depart
You may have no time to offer or impart
You may think life was lost from the start
You got to believe it is pure an d simple form of art
Life will be still full of surprises
It may compel you to make more promises
Life will not end with demise of any one
It is cycle that may repeat with every one

The War Of The Children
The child abuse has been the war of the children
It is going on for too long in a world like this
The children is the victim of it
It is the children who suffers more each day
Stop the child abuse now
We want to put an end to this war
Make the public aware that this exists
Love the children with all your heart
Make the children feel worth
Make them feel special
Show them respect and let them respect you
Because respect and love is a two way thing
Respect the children wishes
Make this world a safe place for our children
Teach them to listened
Let them feel welcome in this world
Let the children live there lives
When you abuse the children
You break there hearts, you are destroying there dreams
And the respect they have for you is lost
What do you get when you abuse the children?
You get no satisfaction
The children have lost there sense of worth
They don’t feel special anymore
And they don’t feel safe anymore
The children know whom they can trust and whom they can’t
Help the children to grow in a safe environment
Feel there hearts with laughter and take there sadness away
Give them the support they need each day as they live there lives

Love Can Be Fun
Love can be fun
But you have to guard the heart
Cause you might get hurt
Its fun to have someone to talk to
To cuddle with
And to make you feel special
But you may never know what a person has in store for you
It may be bad or it could be good
You may never know
But if you trust that person it could be fun
You just have to wait and see if it will work out or not
It can be fun
If that person make you feel special and happy
When you see tem them then it could be good
But you just have to be careful because it can turn out bad for you or the other person
Even if they told you that they will never hurt you
You just have to get to know them better and see if it will work out
Love is fun but guard the heart some

Why Children?
Why children occupy our full attention
We daily talk about and make mention
Wherever we go we carry some impression
Always praise with happiness and nice expressions
Some of the childless families miss the opportunity
It is divine gift offered to us with fine quality
So many couples may be offering prayers to have child
They may consider themselves unlucky and blind
Almighty has done fairly well for all human beings
The happiness desce4nds and bell rings
The child’s arrival is accepted with grace
So much happiness is seen on the face
One simple smile from child makes our life beautiful
Whole world seems to be within our reach and looks full
What is missing in our life thereafter?
Nothing else, only happiness and bursting into laughter
How a dropp of rain can bring life to seed?
How a soul comes into being and really freed?
What a lovely life when comes to play a role?
Intimacy with all and breathing as noble soul
What do we make thereafter in real world?
Love to live with love or create hate fold
Drag every one in new strategy to cheat
Consider it milestone and great feat
We abuse the child and push them to one side
We force their destiny and compulsorily decide
The perceptional difference is very wide
We sometimes dont take precaution to hide
Let us not undermine importance of children
They are like messiahs and flowers even
What do we expect from their innocence?
Make life so lovely in their presence

Wealthy man
I did not want to become wealthy man
At least I did not dream about pleasing a woman
As they all prefer stability in life with wealth
They would not mind to go with person with ill health
I used to pray God for success
More knowledge with enough of access
No blockade on the way for any of the reason
As I wanted to be a successful person
At a given point of time you may need some means
With enough of means you can directly score wins
Even though that may be marred by some of the difficulties
Still you may excel with your great abilities
With the advancement of time the picture may get clear
Either you will be struggling or surviving it with fear
Sometimes it may be falling short of your expectations
Still you may go on without making any revelation
It is only greed that pushes you to get something more
You accept all short cuts and try available methods to explore
It involve bloody measures but hardly it will affect your drive
As you are hell bent upon it and at any cost stand to derive
It is impossible to move on without money power
In the absence of it you can have only hut instead of tower
The intensity and power of it has been realized by all
You are doomed to fail and possibly witness the fall
How can you do away by remaining aloof?
The misery is dominant and very clear proof
One has to live with whatever he has and survive
Only he has to struggle hard and revive
The new trend is emerging or growing in new generation
They see it as strong power for future elevation
Growth and prosperity can become reality only when
There is full economic growth which comes not all of sudden
It is equally true that person may suffer from inferiority
He may always be down with complex such as superiority
This can be eliminated with only when one is fully contended
It is matter of self satisfaction and can never be pretended
It is recognized fact that economic superiority is must
It creates enough of confidence and required trust
Person may develop ill feeling if he has to live with some shortage
There may not enough of time left with his life span or age
Only few can remain fully satisfied
The reason behind is not falsified
The time and life style has changed a lot
At every level one or other odd is to be fought

Loving Hope
I hope for a world
without discrimination
with love and peace
and with the happiness
of love....
I hope for a wonderful love
for all, but the most special
for me.
With the laughs and smiles
meshing together like a
river and ocean
going and going.
I hope for the right person
to come along
and bring that smile
to my face
'To love and to hold
until death do us part'
to talk to
to be not only my special one
but also to be my best friend
we could play and laugh like the
little kids we used to be
in the blue crystal water
big beautiful trees
wearing the white flowy
clothing
To embrace and hope for the best.

I hope...
You are a wonderful person,
And I hope you know that,
Because you deserve to,
Nature is so beautiful,
And I hope it stays that way,
Because i want my children to see it,
The world is so cruel,
So I hope that I can manage,
Because I don't want to say good bye yet,
I hope that we all live life at it's fullest,
I hope we all find the love of our lives,
And finally I hope we all love our lives.

Make it sure
Why is it so to end it in failure?
Why no one can make it sure?
Why it should hinge only on hope?
The show can either be success or flop
It is always hoped against hope
It is considered as tough walking on rope
Hope only keeps us alive
We must nicely learn how to live
It is always better to try hard and forget
The priority must be decided and set
It is not in your hand to predict the success
Yet you are prepared to accept it and face
Life is meant to learn lesson
It has multi dimension with reasons
It depends upon and varies from person to person
That can not be dealt as do the seasons
You will have to remain firm with your commitment
The efforts must be directed towards good movement
It may yield desirable result in due course
Your invaluable contribution is taken into consideration of course
God has given us clear instinct
We have definite choice to act
It is like catching bull by horns
No alternate even if cautioned or warned
It is do or die struggle
Life is proving as mysterious and puzzle
Not all may witness the shining success
Even if they are lucky to have enough access

Congratulation
I must whole heartedly congratulate
A loving tribute to octogenarian and relate
How life might have given him sleepless nights?
To spend the entire life at ease with resolve to fight
I love his one remark about country
A beautiful land bestowed on us by almighty
Motherland must be felt as matter of pride by all of us
Let us strengthen his belief with all the trust
Let the destiny day come as sense of fulfillment
Let our soul feel at that time as proudest moment
We have lived with diverse culture and affinity
A rarest thing ever found in world history
It is rare gesture to a person
Who has spent entire life with noble reasons?
He could rest and spend time easily
Yet he offered to the services of literature readily
Let us all wish him great success
Good health and wealth with easy access
It may provide him means to live
Life to be enjoyed and relived
Life is to be lived at full length
Not in number but with achievement and strength
He has done it with extra ordinary zeal
I wish him all the success in life real
We may pick some threads
Take a lesson and like to lead
More to learn and more to read
From life itself before we are no more or dead
