He is no more
In dead night Long ring on land line
Woke me up suddenly from sleep fine,
I was not drunk or had taken wine
Eyes remained half open with light’s shine
I knew it was her calling from that end,
I had many messages to send,
Neither she cared to pick up not to attend
I decided not to give her time to mend,
“May I speak to so and so mister?
“I am not dolly but her sister”
I was raging from inside and not in good mood,
I lost my speech and motionlessly stood,
“He is no more and left for abode” I replied
“But had left some message with secret code”
We are in shock and in bad mood
for many days we have taken no food
She was on line but trying to hide
Taking deep breath for something to hide
I heard her voice choked with grief,
She had spoken only few words for brief
I thought of slapping her and scolding,
more shocks and stories kept on unfolding
She was not in mood to compromise
Tried to remind of old promises
I was unhappy with her attitude
She should have expressed her gratitude
I was altogether wit her for anything
She too was special and something
She had strong reservation for being very close
Wanted every detail in minute to disclose
I too was not averse to the idea of freedom
It was also one step forward towards wisdom
I gathered strength to be frank enough
She tried to be unreasonably funny and tough
I still restrained myself and kept her in good humor
I was not ready to afloat any more rumor
I tried to offer words with solace touch,
It was enough and not required much,
Lesson was meant to be taught not to act such,
Life was to prove dark even without torch,
She was in distress and also in pain,
she had tried her best but all in vain,
I could not informed her due to some reasons
She was in tears and in fact very good person
Well, it happens with all the newly wed couples
It is difficult to adjust and match in with doubles
As singles they had great liberty and freedom
The sweet talk was to be restricted and upper voice seldom

In That Mood To Pursue
I'm in that mood.
In that mood.
To pursue,
And do...
Just for me and not a thing to prove.
I'm in that mood.
In that mood.
To pursue,
And do...
Just for me,
And not a thing to prove.
I woke up in attitude I knew.
Arrogant but more...
Determinance.
Like a man standing in defense...
Of what I have now with confidence.
And no one's gona try to say I make no sense.
I'm in that mood.
In that mood.
To pursue,
And do...
Just for me and not a thing to prove.
I'm in that mood.
In that mood.
To pursue,
And do...
Just for me,
And not a thing to prove.
I woke up in attitude I knew.
Arrogant,
With a meaning intent.
And a mind tracked on common sense.
I'm in that mood.
In that mood.
To pursue,
And do...
Just for me,
And not a thing to prove.
I feel there's nothing now that I can't do.
I'm in that mood,
For me.
No one has to agree.
I'm up,
And ready to fulfill my needs.
I said I'm up...
And ready to fulfill my needs.
I'm in that mood.
In that mood.
To pursue,
And do...
Just for me and not a thing to prove,
To you or nobody in that groove...
Who aint got it goin' and movin'!

There Is The Mood Of A Poem For This Night
THERE IS THE MOOD OF A POEM FOR THIS NIGHT
There is the mood of a poem for this night
There is the mood of a love from long ago
That is forever lost-
There is a mood of a too rainy and too cold night
There is a mood of more inside than saying can mean-
There is a mood of many things-
And all these moods are not one mood
And yet in me now largely indescribable-
For there is a mood which takes the person away
Into a land of dreams and beyond
And another mood and another poem
Which simply stays where it is
In longing for itself-
So while I have many moods
And may write many poems of those moods
I know that there is no mood tonight
Which is the one and only one love
I would always have-
And no mood which can say again
All that a person may have when young
And never know again in old age-
There is a mood of being forever sad and forever regretful-
But considering how much Beauty life has
And how many different ways there are of finding it
I will listen to the music of the light tonight
And hear the poetry of many great souls
And in a mood of joy
Quietly go to rest
As if happiness really were the mood beyond and within everything.

Melancholy Mood
A little collie weed to ease I grief
too much agony living in the limits of big city
a little collie weed to meditate
too much insanity in this society
melancholy mood I eat for my food melancholy mood
rise this morning smile with the sun
oh I'm blessed another day has begun
everything in life has its purpose
find its reason it has its season
melancholy mood I eat for my food melancholy mood
tears leave my eyes I just want to fly
deep down I feel pain
but I know I must rise again
from this melancholy mood melancholy mood
melancholy mood I eat for my food melancholy mood

All of my love
The complete day I was rehearsing
To know the depth knowingly conversing
Did not know what really it meant?
How to face feelings to be secretly sent?
Some changes were taking shape
I feared she may not like and slap
Friends may cut jokes and clap
Still I gathered the strength to step
Was it love or mere infatuation?
Was it only eagerness for continuation?
It had combination of both sentiments
I was afraid of Luke warm response with comments
It was need on an hour and honest search
I needed some one to guide and teach
I have an urgent desire to go and reach
No one should come forward and preach
It was natural course that was in force
I have thought it over with no remorse
Any one should have full desire and freedom
It is to been how best it is executed with wisdom
I am not sure of any good response
So kept ready very good defense
Even if that is taken as an offence
I shall regret it in her presence
If she is opting foe me as an individual
I shall play honest and not dual
I shall prove my self as real
There will not b any thing to conceal
It must be understood in context
There may not be any ready made text
Wed plan accordingly for the next
It may certainly come out as best
Hope for the best and pray
Don’t hide or run away
It is the sincerity that may speak
You may prove strong even if you are weak

Equally Foul
Sometimes it is easier to hide,
A red elephant in a closet.
Than to open the door of one,
Looking for a good mood to wear.
And...
Hoping to keep it,
Without someone having something foul to say...
To ruin one's entire day.
As if they knew just how to do it.
It takes all the strength in the world,
Not to step toe to toe with ignorance.
And a good mood can be stripped to grit teeth...
Just like that!
Quicker than someone with decent intentions,
Indecently allows something equally foul...
To come popping right out of the mouth.
And,
Consciously!

Hide and seek in set somewhat good
Azure is hidden, the sun too
Hiding, the passing clouds to do
Clement earth is pleased in good mood
Hide and seek in set somewhat good
Their diction of laughing applause
Flora, fauna drizzle while toss

A long inning
As mother had played long inning
She breathed her last in the evening
She knew in advance about the end
It was known to us from her feelings and trend
She would not mind about anything
She won’t ask for or call for something
It was her desire to see us well off
She never wanted us to offer any bluff
She was looking at ceiling
Even though for months she was ailing
She had all kind of satisfaction
Bright eyes reflected the same indication
She was lying on the cot
Life spent on various odds to be fought
It was her life time ambition
To be with us without any condition
She did not expect a single favor
She provided us full cover
We will go near to her and touch the feet
She would affectionately look at and greet
She was active till the last day
It was her life and with full sway
She acted dominant and had complete way
We too were afraid to go away
Such glorious inning was about to end
We informed all relatives and friends
It was her desire that all should remain her bedside
She had nothing to hide or confide
She breathed heavily and lost the control
Her body remained there without soul
It was left for heavenly abode
We watched silently with heavy load
She bore same innocence but with authority
It was her secret weapon and quality
She will not mind for our being defiant
She offered full explanation and very variant
She was not in pain at all
The life had ended with her call
She lived life at full length
That was only her strength
We were her treasure
She had everything for sure
All members were brought up clean atmosphere
She had all the satisfaction to be on earth here
Father turned pale at last moment
He could not cry or offer comment
No word was offered from his for his mouth
We could clearly feel autumn wind from north to south
She stood for all those glorious years
She was all for smile and without tears
This kept us in good mood with confidence
We were let off peacefully with all incidences
Even though mother has left us for a while
She had covered long distance of miles
It was divine smile for all of our family members
The shade under banyan tree was for us to remember

I never knew
I never knew till he dropped the bomb
Day before he had taken me to beautiful tomb
Known for beautiful love story of past
It happened in my real life quick and fast
He can't be termed as coward
Yet he had no courage to look forward
Afraid of taking correct decision
His logic lacked teeth and precision
I had doubt about his wisdom
But I lacked courage and doubted seldom
I was of the firm belief with simple view
Such steps were required by only few
Boys are ready to sacrifice
May come with full of promises
But in real time ditch the love and disappear
May not respond well if called from rear
I have no regret for having association
Love is such beautiful God's incarnation
You dream about lovely life with good relation
But if no then it can push you to tough isolation
I couldn't stop tears from rushing
I hardly tried for any kind of pushing
I allowed it to come out freely
As I wanted it to go in drain happily
I shall soon recover from shock
As they may soon run out of stock
I have long way to go and resurface
With same smile and bright face
Love failure is temporary face
You can't go on making mad chasse
Past is past and must be forgotten soon
It will be useless to cry when see bright moon
I have learnt a lesson
It is difficult for person
To forget easily and adjust
Yet one must move forward and it is must

Error And Loss
Upon an eve I sat me down and wept,
Because the world to me seemed nowise good;
Still autumn was it, & the meadows slept,
The misty hills dreamed, and the silent wood
Seemed listening to the sorrow of my mood:
I knew not if the earth with me did grieve,
Or if it mocked my grief that bitter eve.
Then ’twixt my tears a maiden did I see,
Who drew anigh me on the leaf-strewn grass,
Then stood and gazed upon me pitifully
With grief-worn eyes, until my woe did pass
From me to her, and tearless now I was,
And she mid tears was asking me of one
She long had sought unaided and alone.
I knew not of him, and she turned away
Into the dark wood, and my own great pain
Still held me there, till dark had slain the day,
And perished at the grey dawn’s hand again;
Then from the wood a voice cried: “Ah, in vain,
In vain I seek thee, O thou bitter-sweet!
In what lone land are set thy longed-for feet?”
Then I looked up, and lo, a man there came
From midst the trees, and stood regarding me
Until my tears were dried for very shame;
Then he cried out: “O mourner, where is she
Whom I have sought o’er every land and sea?
I love her and she loveth me, and still
We meet no more than green hill meeteth hill.”
With that he passed on sadly, and I knew
That these had met and missed in the dark night,
Blinded by blindness of the world untrue,
That hideth love and maketh wrong of right.
Then midst my pity for their lost delight,
Yet more with barren longing I grew weak,
Yet more I mourned that I had none to seek.

A Great Disguise
People talkin', think I'm alright
Think I'm doin' fine
Goin' through the motioms of my life
Go to work now, every mornin'
Yeah, I play the part
Hide away the contents of my solemn heart
But when the sun goes down
And the moon is high
I can't control the flow of all these tears inside
And if they only knew
They'd be so surprised
I'm just a good pretender in a great disguise
Keep'em guessin', keep'em laughin'
Build the wall up high
Long as they don't see the other side
You've really done it, done a number
A number of my soul
There's no way I'll ever let you know
But when the sun goes down
And the moon is high
There's no way to hide the truth from me, myself and I
Yeah, I wear it well
Though it ain't my size
I'm just a good pretender in a great disguise
I'm not one to show emotion like some folks I see
I won't wear my heart out on my sleeve
I don't miss you, not for a minute I'm gonna be OK
Words of wisdom spoken by the light of day
But when the sun goes down
And the moon is high
Your memory pulls me under like a strong rip tide
I'm still in love with you
It's all smoke and lies
I'm just a good pretender in a great disguise

Good morning Boss
Day spoils if start is not at all good
We can do away with no good food
But certainly not with bad start
You may wear gloomy face and feel bad heart
It is said “whose beginning then his day too will be bad”
He may find it difficult with brother. Mummy or even with dad
There may take place unusual things to disturb whole day
You may loose patience and find no other good way
In office day starts with “'good morning” to boss
you got to always yes and never no even at some personal loss,
He is the one person in office who is always in tension,
You can’t expect any thing bad worth to mention,
I always take steps for its prevention,
I never ask or raise any question,
Simply fall in line with him ready to go with his words
try to show the sincerity and keenness in special work
I or for that matter no one can afford to loose his grace
Loosing favor means you won’t have any trace
All odds against you and problems to face,
Why simply to enter then unnecessary race?
Try to be near him but not so close,
Butter daily with kind words and offer rose,
Stand by with him in the time of need
Never show bad gesture and prove your worth in deed
it is hard time to show sincerity and prove best class
Hide the discomfiture and feelings under dark glass,
don’t try to create any flutter and allow the day to pass,
Allow his name to be seen plate with shining in brass
If you ever happen to fall out of grace
Ready yourself to challenge and face,
Offer very good smile and use kind words,
Remain obedient and sincere as you remain with lords
After all he is bread provider and boss
We can’t afford to alienate him at any cost
Our relation may at any time go frost
But it is not the end of the day or love lost
Try to reason out your obedience
Prove that office is at par excellence
It is only because of his brilliance
Office has got reputation only by his presence
It is no exaggeration to use few good words in his honor
You may find that he too may stand for your favor
In fact it is the presence of all that count s for performance
There is no use if we undermine his authority in others presence

I Must Have Been Sleeping
'Where are you going, ' I heard her say
As the dream took me straight to the core,
We parked at the side of a very long road
And I got out the driver's door;
'I've never known that, ' I replied, and she sat
On her hands, with the pain of surprise,
'So what you've been saying has never been true! '
The tears rose up in her eyes!
'The road has been long, the road has been wide,
I never knew where I could turn.'
'I thought you were happy with me, ' she said;
There was nothing to say in return.
'I must have been sleeping for seventeen years, '
My voice sounded foreign and coarse,
But I couldn't handle the sighs and the lies,
Or the terrible sound of - 'divorce! '
I walked to the wood at the side of the road,
And followed the pathway around,
I couldn't look back now I'd made up my mind
Though I walked unfamiliar ground,
The clearing was quiet, the birds didn't sing,
A mountain rose up in my view,
I suddenly saw there was no going back
To the comfortable life that I knew.
I cast off my shackles and took a deep breath,
To breathe in both freedom and pride,
My strength was returning, and clearer my eye,
I walked with a bounce in my stride,
The years fell away, I was thirty again,
I stopped then, and sat on a stone,
For darkness was gathering there in the gloom
With that terrible feeling - alone!
I thought of the woman I'd left on the road,
Who'd always been faithful to me,
The tears that she'd shed for a love that was dead
Made me sad, and ashamed to be free,
I thought of the comfort she'd given me when
All my world started going insane,
She'd cooked and she'd cared, and she'd loved and she'd shared
And I'd given her nothing but pain.
I turned on the track, and I made my way back
But I couldn't see where I had been,
I stumbled through thickets and walked into trees
And I fell on my knees on the green.
'I am lost, I am lost, ' I cried into the night
Then I heard her voice, dim, by a tree
And woke to her stroking my face and my brow
As I cried… She was waiting for me!

Afraid to love
When love was sweet and life was good,
I thought I could never love anyone as deep,
Optimism found me in another mood,
And made promise to live and die to keep.
But after I found out the painful truth,
My heart rearranges and preserves the pain,
Hold each moment within a single thought,
I became afraid to love again.
And all the promises kind winds blow,
Opportunity into lovely notes of pleasant tune,
Through the door and at my window,
I am still afraid to love again.
When I fall asleep capsize into twisted realism,
In tears I tell myself the only secret I fear,
If chance comes by I may never love again,
Although I long to share the joy with another.
Who may be standing somewhere in the shadow,
And stare at me, but I am bound to be there,
I've turn away, yet if love could make the fear go,
And become the vestige of care.
What love so great can set my spirit free?
By night and day freedom gain from fear,
Left deep compositions haunting me,
In moods and wounds which go deep and near.

Abort the child
"Please do me favor and abort the child"
He gently approached and sought my shield
I was taken a back and looked in his eyes
But failed to understand what he intended or tried to
"I want some more time to be father"
How can I permit him for such thing as mother?
He can run away from the responsibility
But what would I answer to the almighty?
I simply stared at him and wondered
What all he had promised and offered?
To keep me in good mood and safe
Now he wanted great sacrifice from me to be safe
I decided not to budge or relent
I kept mum and waited for his comments
He had taken me for granted and was very much sure
That I may consent and willingly assure
My heart bled for while and I cried
Eyes had shed too much and silently dried
He had almost in his command everything and tried
I stood firm in my stand and openly defied
"I shall not be part of inhuman act"
The child is mine and that is open fact
We are jointly responsible for birth
How can we offer untimely death?
I was in raging mood and disobeyed
My wished were silently conveyed
Either he must accept me as it is
Or make the way with his choice
I was not prepared to rebel against inner voice
Even if there was little left with me as choice
How can we be that cruel to birth of child?
When we had jointly explored the field
"No dear, there can't be any other way"
Child has to come on this earth any way
I shall take care of everything and survive
Tell me precisely what you think or believe?

Touch
Martin page & jon lind
Youre shining like the northern lights
I hold you like a butterfly
Without you its a cold world
Give in to love and rescue me
All that I need is to get close
Both of us know we dont have to wait
Its getting late
Lets touch, touch
We can steal the night
I need your touch, touch
In the morning light
Why dont we touch, touch
Now the feelings right
Ill be there cause you know that
I believe
In your touch, touch
We can steal the night
I need your touch, touch
In the morning light
Why dont we touch, touch
Now the feelings right
Ill be there cause you know that
I believe
In your touch, touch
We can steal the night
I need your touch, touch,
In the morning light
Why dont we touch, touch
Now the feelings right
Our bodies become one
Weve waited such a long time
To catch a glimpse of paradise
The secrets that we keep inside
Are feelings we should never hide
Open our minds, open our eyes
Both of us know we dont have to wait
Its getting late
Chorus
And when I reach for you
You better let me through
Im giving good advice
Im gonna give it to you
Why dont we both give in to love
I wanna comfort you
I wanna pull you through
Ill make you close your eyes
Get you in the mood
Why dont we both give in to love

Oh, Son
Oh, son where were you all these years!
I wanted to hear that sweet voice of yours
In this lovely world I missed you for long time
You were not even asking me in prayer times
What has happened to you?
You were obedient, honest and true
What made you to be of forgetful nature?
You schooling, education and everything was made very much sure
You used to come and weep by my bed side
I could feel the tears dropp and the words you wanted to confide
I was helpless my dear son when you were just a kid
I was moved by your presence and it spun my head
I left this beautiful land on fateful day
I knew you were dragged and taken away
Your crying words still echo ears
I could understand your pain and fears
Years after years have turned into decades
My memory is now completely faded
You were not to find single second for mother
What was reason for all these years to bother?
I heard little fainted voice from distance
I loved some words closely for instance
You were asking for few minutes to talk
How can I afford to neglect you and walk away?
For all these years you might have been busy with your family?
May be facing tough life for scaling ladder not available readily
Yet it speaks of ignorance and ungratefulness on your part?
The life might have brought you glory but what a bad end with good start
Now you have found the little time
That too after retirement when no one hears you sometimes
It speaks of little childish attitude
But all my feelings for you do not dilute
For all these years you did not care
To see agony on my face and bothered
Mothers are still mothers and shall remain unique
Forget everything even if lately offered kick
I have no words to offer
As not many people may differ
Speak in different tone and not side
But I am always with you whenever you face danger and collide

Love and like
We have forgotten the population menace
We have western model at heart and on face
Rape and other atrocities are order of the day
We have nothing to gain but loose on the way
We seek no morality or advocate freedom
It is never in store or enjoyed seldom
We live in fool's paradise and learn from the screen
Why to think of turmoil and those ghastly scenes?
Everybody is happy and nothing to worry
Politicians, saints and priests all enjoy and feel no sorry
Population is no worry as God may provide the food
More heads, at the long run may prove very good
Freedom and liberty has remained on paper
It is day for shooters, gang leaders and rappers
What education we are imparting to our teenagers?
They are always in outrageous mood and act as strangers
Students shoot at fellow students and create disorder
From where to bring decency and fine order
How can we truly understand the meaning of independence?
It has lost its charm in today’s context or presence
No one is to be blamed for failure in standard
We have never bothered to look around and backward
We left the tail in dangerous situation
Where is the real time for its evaluation?
Let freedom be enjoyed by all?
Let them profess what they want and give call
Let them change the system if they dislike
But live among all with love and like

Caged
His dream was disturbed on this trembling ground
because he was chained and left alone to stare around
He screamed for help, freedom, but every word floated in vain
He tasted the pain of the never ending rain
He wanted to discover the beauty of the earth
He never thought of being chained after his birth
He cherished his moment when he was a little pup
But now, he could feel himself being caged up
He tried and tried to cross the front door
But he is chained, so it pains him more and more
He looked above and stared the sky
He wanted freedom, he yelled and cry
He wanted to smell the fragrance of rose
and beauty of sunlight
But he found no one to fight for his Living right
Each night he was left chained in the cold.
This way, all of his life was sold.
He still begged for freedom in his deep voice
But, he knew that being chained is his only choice
He had loads of secret feelings inside
but everything seemed buried just like his freedom pride
he deserves to have his cries heard.
shouldn't someone lend his hand and word?
He also has a beating heart and a faithful soul
But he was being slaved in his masters control
One day he fell ill with no intentions to stay
And his masters lied the world saying he ran away
but the truth was he was buried half alive
That's how he ended his painful life~
No one was there to share his grief
His life ended just like an autumn leaf
His life ended just like an autumn leaf
' His emotions was being played for a huge span of time
his pain and his suffering was being considered fine
Don't you think it is the worst of crime? ? '
the animals those moo, oink or woof,
Should never be caged beneath a roof.

Anything in between
I can’t become anything even if I want to
I can’t attempt simply and pass though
It has certain norm and has to be met
Goal and priority should be decided and has to be set
Nothing materializes all of sudden
If you are sure of it then only it is done
You may get the success or fail
All your efforts may help you to sail
I know how to excel as good poet
I have revolutionary ideas but have to keep quiet
I may have strong will power to change the world order
It may some time result into disorder
How do the ideas enter into empty memory?
How do they develop into in to fine poetry?
Words after words may occupy different position
It may result then into fine composition
Can this lead into conflicting views?
Does the poet get its proper dues?
Can this land him into disarray/
Can this also take readers in to his way?
It is difficult to judge and visualize
Nobody can prejudge and lateralize
It may touch the inner core of the heart
It may land into garbage before entering mart
I have no time to think about all this things
It has to be an honest attempt at something
It may not find place today then possibly tomorrow
Some time has to be given to express the sorrow
It may have premature demise
No one can guarantee or promise
At every step it must be revised
Some new ideas to be set in and formula devised
The poets are small vanes of the society
It must pick correct mood and offer in variety
There s no use to present the which is obsolete
It has to be unique an din it self complete
The poets are not emerging in a day or two
They are subjected to litmus test and have to pass through
Not possible that it may find all the time good favor
The quality and product both must have flavor and fervor
If your ideas resonate with rhythm and synchronize
If it can meet the challenge and people too sympathize
It is certainly possible to have all glory and fame
Otherwise one common thing to share is blame
Nothing goes out of tune in the mind
You must have suitable words ready to find
I must altogether touch the reader’s ideology
There has to be common approach without any bogey
