Forgive Me O, Friend

Forgive me o, my dearest friend
For pushing you to the corner or dead end
You were taken to smoking
And then to hashish and smacking

What kind of harm did me to you?
You were to pass all ordeals through
Was it intentional on my part?
Or was a just thought with wrong start?

I must blame my self first
As your parent had put enough of trust
That I shall help him till the last
I took him to deep and dark valley very fast

Was it an ignorance or fine show?
We wanted to be with time and grow
We never knew its ill effects
Just followed bad ways with acts

Not that alone I should be blamed for what has happened
The controversy had already taken place and sharpened
There was talk of the two and we were singled out
Shamed all along as there was nothing more to talk about

When it became know to us we acted very intelligently
We did not loose nerves and reacted very gently
We started to come out of its ill effects
Left everything coolly and preferred not to react

It worked well with strong support from all over
Parent too were sympathetic and provided cover
We did earnestly what ever we could to avoid bad show
The dirt of the river was removed so as to facilitate smooth flow

There has to be cross and double checks on movement
When child enters youth and waits for sweet moment
If he gets good company and proper environment
Everything can run smoothly and there may not be any room to resent

Ms. & Mr. Little Ones

What is that that you're looking through
a pornographic magazine?
When I bet you don't even know how to
spell the word
And you say you don't leave home unless
you're strapped
With your uzi sub machine
When you've just barely come into this world
Well, if a child's ways and actions
Reflect what they hear and see
Guess the only ones to blame are you and me
Ms. & Mr. Little Ones
Look what's happened to our world
Ms. & Mr. Little Ones
We're so sorry
The only chance for a better one
Is up to you and he
Please! Forgive us for what we've done
Ms. & Mr. Little Ones
What kind of name is that you're calling her
I've heard that word before
But I don't think any parent would give their
daughter a name so low
And about this extra paraphernalia
You say you're carrying to get high
That won't take you anywhere you want to go
Well, you don't have to listen
Cause it's here for you to see
So many burnt out lives trapped in their misery

And how life used to be
And even inwardly relive them vividly
But the best advice I can give to you
Is that we only go around one time
Treat each day like this is it
And give it the best you can

Talk To Me

After it was over, after the crying
And all the angry shouting
When we'd both just given up
And you turned and closed the door
I didn't know what was wrong
Anymore than I did before
Maybe it was over
When you stopped trying
Or when I started doubting
Maybe you don't care enough
Maybe I'm just scared you'll go
But maybe what was really wrong
Is that I still don't really know
Talk to me quietly, peacefully
Tell me what to do
Talk to me honestly, don't you see
I need to talk to you
I need to hear that we're okay
And say the things that I meant to say
So talk to me before
Before it's really over
When it all was starting
When I first met you
We couldn't keep from talking
I knew everything you felt
And I felt you knew me too
Now I'm talking to myself
Or I'm just yelling back at you
How this could have happened
How I could lose you
Or you could think to leave me
After where we started from
I'm too dumb I guess to see
But you can't go 'till I do
And you know
You owe that to me
Talk to me quietly, peacefully
I don't wanna fight
Talk to me nice and slow
So I'll know
How to make it right
I'm not afraid to take the blame
I'm just afraid we'll stay the same
And we won't talk until
Until it's really over
I don't understand
Why you're always mad
What could I have done
What could be so bad
Don't you wanna know
Why I never sleep
Look what we've become
From all these secrets that we keep
When it's really over
'cause I can't take it
Or you've walked out
For the last time
When these years are just a dream
And these tears somehow have dried
I can't wake up in my bed
And regret what we never tried
So please don't say it's over
Don't even think it
Just think about the good times
Think of all we've got to lose
And not who's done what to who
And when it comes time to chose
Think of who would still die for you
Talk to me quietly, peacefully
Make me understand
Say what you need to say
Find a way
Take me by the hand
The only thing I ask of you
Is please, for once, just listen too
And talk to me before
Before it's really over
Talk to me
Before it's really over

That Heartbreaking Mistake

There was I time I thought
When everything was good
That he loved me
I loved him
And things were how they should.

Until one day he decides
To tell my friend a lie
But tell me its a joke
That didnt make sense
And for some time
It made me tense

So I returned his necklace
Gave it to my friend
Who told him
The relationship came to an end

So he became confused
As I'm feeling used
And now I cannot say
If I should break up with him today

I used to think he cared
But does he now?
He doesnt show it anymore
But I wish I knew somehow

He'd rather talk to other people
Other than me
Because he used to call me
At every moment possibly
But now when he
Can only talk for so long
He calls another
So I must have done something wrong

But what?
I ask myself
I gave all of me
But that must not be
Enough for he

Its very painful
When you've held on to it for so long
And you think to yourself now
What did I do wrong?

If I knew like this
That it would end
Then I still wonder
Why did I let it begin?

If he knew
For my sake
Hopefully,
He wouldn't have made
That heartbreaking mistake

A preference

You were never a Juliet
You seemed to me simple idiot
You preferred a heavy jolt
It was shock and blue from bolt

I thought you were showing some grace
I was never after you and in race
I had read anxieties on your face
Still I showed willingness to embrace

I knew something was making you wild
You were not the same as true and mild
I figured it out and decided to ignore
You had acted in haste this before

I let you behave the way you like
You may go on top and shout with mike
You may display cards while on bike
No one will bother even if you strike

You preferred neither to show nor to see
wanted me to dump in blue or dark sea
You didn’t want to remain as friend to find
Spoken words supposed to be very kind

Be little kind and considerate
Don’t complain always and narrate
Don’t land in hostile land
You will find villains and not good friend

No messages may flow
It will be great blow
Friendship process may go slow
Don’t vitiate but lay low

Understand and properly read
Between the lines and don’t misread
Try to find out ways and means
Search your soul and cleanse

You may find the answer
Not from all but from fewer
Steer the course and stay sound
Way with new friends is always found

Fill the air with melody of cuckoo
Be always right and try to be true
Make no bone of contention with noise
Keep your word good with promise

Your oldie may jump
Won’t care about any bump
Stay safe and very cool
Don’t make yourself fool

You may feel triumph
It may be win only half
You may loose and cry
Consequences may leave you dry

You may choose
But subsequently loose
You won’t know what is right or wrong
You will be alone and not find among

I shall prefer not to stay
Not that far or so much away
I shall knock at the right hour
May rush from any where even if on tour

I wish you to be little tough
Always kind with words and not rough
Convey best possible feeling right now
I shall be there but don’t know how?

I shall accompany you
When you may surrender to thou
It may be his wish to prevail
You may fall in line and avail

Lets Talk About Love

Bryan adams, eliott kennedy, jean jacques goldman
Everywhere I go all the places that Ive been
Every smile is a new horizon on a land
Ive never seen
There are people around the world -
Different faces different names
But theres one true emotion that
Reminds me were the same...
Lets talk about love
From the laughter of a child to the tears
Of a grown man
Theres a thread that runs right through us
All and helps us understand
As subtle as a breeze - that fans a flicker
To a flame
From the very first sweet melody to the
Very last refrain...
Lets talk about love
Lets talk about us
Lets talk about life
Lets talk about trust
Lets talk about love
Its the king of all who live and the
Queen of good hearts
Its the ace you may keep up your
Sleeve - till the name is all but lost
As deep as any sea - with the rage of
Any storm
But as gentle as a falling leave on any
Autumn morn...
Lets talk about love - its all were
Needin
Lets talk about us - its the air were
Breathin
Lets talk about life - I wanna know you
Lets talk about trust - and I wanna show
You
Lets talk about love

(It’s Not) To Everyone Under 18

“You’re doing it wrong! ”
“You can’t do anything right! ”
Echo’s through your ears once more.
Coming with is tears that try to exit your eyes.
But some how are held back.
And the punch in the face,
You weren’t expecting you didn’t think,
You had to defend yourself against,
The people who brought you up all these 10 years!

A rumor goes around the 7th grade.
A month or two before your 12th Birth day.
But your friends kept it from you,
Because they know it’s not true.
So unaware you walk in that familiar door alone,
Except for one other,
Everyone outside working,
Big log truck is unloading,
So everyone is unable to hear your screams of fear
Thinking this time she might not stop and death might be near.
Painful screams from objects hitting you tiny body.
With such a hard force it breaks skin.
No one hears you all they see is “you falling down the stairs! ”
Someone comes to your aid but doesn’t know.
No one will ever know that was there that day.

You’re nearly grown 17 years old.
Less then a month till your 18th Birth day.
The punishments have gotten worse but,
Not as often over the years.
12 years their fist against your skin.
But nothing prepared you for the one about to be laid upon you.
The force.. the length..
Yes you did wrong, yes you needed discipline,
But to that extent?
It was almost too much for your 140lb body to take.
It sent you to the hospital but of course,
You crashed your quad.

All these years, all 12 of them you,
Hide it inside, only you and your siblings knew.
Thought it was just something that happened.
And it was O.K.
Thinking every parent does it.

But its not! ! ! It’s not O.K.! ! !
Parents should never hit their kids! !
It’s wrong and against the law! ! !
Not to mention the lasting effects it has on the person.

P.S.
If you know someone that is under 18 and their parents are hurting them talk to them. You would be amazed of just someone to talk to does for them. May 24,2009

Shake It Up

Im so blind, ooh I just cant see, what kind of love you expect from me
Let me know, you gotta sort this out
Come on babe, Ive had enough of this doubt
I thought I knew what you wanted, just goes to show I was wrong
Im twice the man that ya, you think I am, this time Im gonna be strong, yeah
Chorus:
Shake it up - ooh yeah, put the world to right
Shake it up - this gotta be, babe, thats alright
Shake it up - yeah baby, you ran out of luck
Shake it up - yeah yeah yeah
Whoo, you dont know, ooh what youve done for me
You built me up, baby, cant you see
Dont seem right that after all this time
I found out youre no friend of mine
You knew that sooner or later, you knew it deep in your heart
All the troubles that ya, you gave to me, babe
Were gonna tear us, tear us apart
(chorus)
You had me searchin for answers, you had me livin from day to day
I guess you ran out of chances, whoo babe, there was no other way
(solo)
I thought I knew what you wanted, just goes to show I was wrong

Wrong Timing

when you got in
i went out
such is the wrong timing
of your
compassion

then we talk
about the proper timing
of our desires

you set the time, the place, and the mood
now it is not just desire but
love

yes, love,
but sometimes i still wonder
what love is
when two people meet at the proper time
the proper place, and the proper mood

when everything seems right
and yet
feels so wrong
when everything is supposedly proper
and yet
there is still this
feeling of impropriety

i am 48 years old and you are 49
and i am just asking
when we all want to be inside the room of
ecstacy

and yet
they all want us
out

just because they also feel
that the timing may be right
but it simply does not
look all right

and then you are a little bit irritated and you ask
finally:

why do you talk too much?

Baby girl

Baby girls are not wanted and desired
Their entry in family is not admired
Ill treatment from them from the very day of arrival
No celebration or joy when

Recent event opened my eyes
Six month old baby left behind as desperate try
Baby was alone and found in railway compartment
Parent left her at mercy in suspicious movement

So beautiful and charm of heavenly rose
She was there for nobody to dispose
How can you be so cruel for lovely child?
In one remote corner of railway yard she was left to find

She was so much liked by all
But parents were not found to call
They had left her behind in hurry
As if she was not thing to worry

Orphanage was contacted and taken care
But parent were not seen any where
Whole of media came to rescue
Nation wide hunt started for identification and view

Fifty hours had passed off and yet no query
It added to tension, concern and worry
Alas! Some phone call was made from far place
The parents were on line in any case

"We were in hurry to off load the luggage"
She was sleeping on one side of baggage
We were busy in checking meanwhile train moved
We noticed nothing while luggage was removed

No one believed such story and police swung in action
All the institutions were making sure of reaction
Many contacted to take control of baby girl
Now it was out hand and was parent's turn

There are people who still care for nothing
Baby girls are unwanted and traded off for something
Either they are left or sold off for paltry sum
This trend is still not going off and is certainly worrisome

The Circle

From parent and child
to friend to child to parent.
I've grown and reflecting back.
The circle is clear to me.

As a child looking up to them.
Then eye to eye
with the coming of age.
Still I looked up to them.

Many the role my parents played
guiding my course through life.
Their status with me
changing as older I grew.

Entering the world of adults
leaving adolescence behind.
Friends confidants
and equals they became.

When times my needs demanded
support direction advice.
Always they were there.
On my parents I could rely.

Taking my place as a parent.
Their wisdom a well I drew from.
Their strength
became a staff I leaned on.

One day to me
it was suddenly clear.
My path through life
followed the footprints they left.

When came the time
in their autumn years.
For safe haven they looked to me.
Their obligations I realized fulfilled.

It was for me now the time
to carry that load
they had gladly borne.
The circle had come full turn.

You want more

You want more and more
Where as I adore and explore
The time to spend with you alone
Even amidst strong wind and cyclone

It was your deep touch
Strong one and earnest as such
It had magnetic pull
Strong enough to make successful bid

It drove me crazy
Even though in life I was lazy
Never looked at your invite
Else it was strong enough to ignite

I prefer to go along
Even if proved many times completely wrong
But you were dug in firmly
An appeal that could be delivered sternly

It has gone in mind
Suitable place to find
Stay there permanently and reside
All matters gently to confide

You have mastered an art
With deliberate and careful start
You made me to sink and feel part
Stand taken by me to stand nullified and depart

I can't allow you to let go
As you have made smooth river water flow
It was from river flowing zigzag with nice blow
I swim deep and sink below

Now I feel what the love can create as an impact
It is watched with keen interest and kind act
To build permanent bond with firm relation
So nothing remains in doubt or question

Shall I hold you in my embrace?
Reassure you with promises on face
That we shall stand as one in future
Never to miss a single moment for sure

Joy on face

Did you ever notice joy on my face?
When I went near to her and made no chase
I used to keep her happy all the time and showered the love
Met all the demands and generally agreed to believe

When ever I ask something she will feel shy
If ask more or insist then she will lower the eyes
She will never raise the head and answer
She had distinct way to obey and surrender

I have seen special qualities in children
They will want nothing in return
Only love and little warmth with favor
Stay at home with security and without fear

I used to sink in my old childhood days
How kind was my parent in their ways?
No sweets offer of any kind but sweet words
Some sort of happiness and hand over head

How could we forget those memorable moments?
With meager income and still no words to resent
Always eager to meet to ends with no more expectation
That was how bridge was built with strong bond and relation

I never miss them for a single moment and sometimes cry
Every demand was met without a single question or asking why
Even though they were not schooled but had sense of fulfillment
They really moved with us in each occasion and remained present

I find lords blessings in child’s presence
They are called messenger of God hence
I wish to remain them with innocence for some more time
Till they attain maturity for appropriate time

You see the reflection and happiness
No one may have any reason to complain in any case
In real sense they are another name for almighty
The creator of different flowers with lots of variety

I loose presence of mind in their sweet talks
What an elegant way of putting steps while they walk
No worry and fear when we are around and present
Get everything in time and no room to complain or resent

I am so much lucky to be father of such a lovely child
Where else you can pray and find?
Lucky are those who have nothing on hand
Yet enjoy rich world with children as friends

Ben

Verse 1:
I’m sitting in my room thinking about the times that weren’t so bad
When you were here with the family
It was like you were the person who listened, the kind one
Always knew the right thing to stand up for no matter the cause or cost

Chorus:
The pain shoots through me every time I start to think or talk about your memory
Just because the way you were taken was so unnecessary
So Ben this one is for you
The family we miss you it’s like
The pain could never end
But together we can get through this
And keep your memory alive

Verse 2:
The many things run through my head
That the fact if you were here still today
Things could be different, it seemed
Like you were the part that kept things together
When you went things fell apart

Chorus:
The pain shoots through me every time I start to think or talk about your memory
Just because the way you were taken was so unnecessary
So Ben this one is for you
The family we miss you it’s like
The pain could never end
But together we can get through this
And keep your memory alive

Verse 3:
The feelings cut deep like a knife
Through all of this I’m still here
To keep your memory alive, I shall remember you for the good
Not the last memories, the grievance just wont pass
But thanks to the support of many certain friends I can still pull through.

Chorus:
The pain shoots through me every time I start to think or talk about your memory
Just because the way you were taken was so unnecessary
So Ben this one is for you
The family we miss you it’s like
The pain could never end
But together we can get through this
And keep your memory alive

Being small child

I was not afraid of being small child
As father was so gentle and mild
Mother too had full quota of affection
Everything was laughed out as my childish action

Sometimes I used to feel embarrassed
I was not bitten but always kissed
Taken in arms and rounded at all places
I knew little why they all had smile on faces?

Everybody was ready to take me out
I had no chance to talk or think about
I was pleasure girl and liked by all
They will be courteous and give me fine call

If the days had wings I would have preferred
To remain as child and waited to be conferred
All precious gifts and great smiles with love
Stay with me comfortably and finally drove

I remember holding parent’s hand
For me there was never any end
It was just beginning and I was just following
I was restricted to move with caution of slowing

I have gathered the strength and started to move
I had to only advance with age and nothing to prove
The days are passing like rain and am coming off fast
I don’t remember when it was over and did last

Those memorable days over
There is no more fathers’ cover
No one scolds me for any action
I find hardly any reaction

Some new shape is taking place in my womb
Father is with me and slowly leading me with thumb
There is generation gap and I am simply following
I try to slip in sweet memory but it not allowing

I may be mother in few weeks
My child may definitely seek
Some protection and advice
Would her/his deeds suffice?

I need not struggle hard to find
The past days have gone with the wind?
I should learn how to be generous and very kind
Not to follow it as routine or as blind

I was shown the middle path to go safe and slow
In the same way I will try for my child to grow
The same treatment and same love for unborn
That is not the worry for me or whole concern

It is complete cycle and likely to be repeated
The main purpose is never going to be defeated
I think nothing goes against unless you opt
You must be willing to accept the fact and be very prompt

*How close we are to know about being nice flower”

Stories Of Hope Series #11 Adopted Child

The child was brought into this world
By an un wanting mother, did not have
any family, no sisters, no brothers.
But was adopted from birth by a woman
Who was seeking a child, and didn’t
Have any of her own for quite awhile.

This child was loved, like he could never know
Because as a mother her love she did show.
Never had a need or want for anything in life
Never knew about the mothers struggles or strife.

The child at times would question as to why
he was from a one parent family.
She told him that it was the way she wanted it to be.
She loved this child more than life itself
And in her heart this child would dwell.

Then one day before high school graduation
He had needed papers of when and where
He was born documentation.
He knew his mother kept the important
Papers in a metal box- which was always kept locked.

He found the key to the box, and opened it
Up with care, and with his mother the reason
He would share.
He found an envelope dated 1/29/92
Which was his birth date, that much he knew.

He opened the envelope and saw the heading
“ certificate of birth” on the first paper he took out.
As he opened it up and started to read
Where it said parents names, was blank as can be.

He waited for his mother to get home
And then the papers would be shown.
When she got home he asked her why there was no names?
She put her head down and said: she was to blame.
You see: you was left on the hospital steps
With a note attached to you blanket saying:
“She could not take care of you
And this was the best that she could do.”

Being a nurse in that hospital, I fell in love with you
And I went through the process to adopt you.
I have loved you from the start, and you’ve
Filled my soul and heart.
No one can love you more than I
And I will love you till the day I die.

The tears started rolling down her face
And he kissed her tears away.
He said: you are the only mother I have ever known
And because of you, I have a family.
“ that could never change for me”.

I’m so sorry that I never told you my son
And for any hurt that I may have done.
I just wanted to protect you
That is all I wanted to do.

They both shed their tears, and comforted their fears.
He said: I decided that I would go to the court of records
And change it for all to see, that you are
The only mother for me.

On his birth certificate they attached a stipulation
Which read: this woman became his mother from
The moment that he was found
And this case has become world renown.

Because of the hope she had in her heart
Her and her son got a brand new start.

HOPE IS THE KEY TO SET YOURSELF FREE

Keep little affection in store

Put the confidence in all
It is not said by me but it is by holy call
Keep heart clean and prevent the fall
Lord may help you in scaling the wall

Trust is the precious jewel
You may do always well
God may guide you to rush for helpless
He is there to help but seek your kind face

What good is served if we mistrust woman folk?
With whom we go freely, confide and talk
If whole world is not trusted to go along
Then certainly there is something wrong

If we mean to say that God did mistake
There was no enough thought for intake
Whole world was brought up for no purpose
Then it goes in flame for the want of only suppose

When you say you have trust in God
Let there be faith in his word
His creations, nature and environment
Let us not commit sin by adverse comment

He hears and feels you in every moment
Your prayers and need for blessings are definitely sent
He will not reject it merely on wrong ground
You should be in right place and correctly found

There flows the river with all the sins
Everyone picks up water and as if with great win
Wise and devotee may think twice before action
As it is apparent very painful from the reaction

Let us behave responsibly without any disregard
Every word written or spoken by Him must be taken forward
Let us remain brethren and contribute toward peace
Lord wants us to leave with harmony and at very ease

No one is licensed to kill
No one has right to impose will
It is your inner strength that may guide you
You must prove yourself honest and very true

We are not here to show even little discourtesy
As Lord is always kind and keen to show mercy
We must live happily and need not worry
Any disrespect may cause us to feel sorry

Can we justify why did he suffer cruelty?
Was he not that powerful as almighty?
What did he say at the end of torture?
Lord forgive them for they are blind for future

I may not be true disciple
I may not be even good pupil
But I am true believer and ardent supporter
My stature may go up and not fall shorter

A wish to talk

i wish i could talk to you
make contact and talk through
it is pleasure talking to a distant friend
it was nice for the talks to end

She was not for close contact
She was happy to be confined and in tact
It was her logic and may be fact
She had good reason to react

I was amused when she said she wants to knew persons
From different parts of the world for various reasons
It is giving long insight and proper understanding
It is nice feeling with greater bonding

Well, I responded with saying so
But I could leave the scene and go
She seems o be quite reserved
But her brilliance I definitely observed

She commented for living in isolation
It was nice for her but a good revelation
There was nice meeting with good conciliation
I had no more plan to pose a question

She was sure to come back as she was brilliant
I had come all of sudden and talk was instant
I was to gain something more
I pursued it long therefore

It was just time to depart
As I intended no to part
But since it was good beginning or start
I had played my part as very smart

It is good to meet various people
We are able to communicate and capable
It makes us to think positively
It is easy and helpful relatively

Talk About The Good Times

(words & music by jerry reed hubbard)
Well I remember when I was as children
The time the people used to treat the neighbor like a fellow man
And all their singin and big prayer meetins
When a man was proud to walk up and shake his neighbors hand
Oh you talk about the good times,
Talk about the good times
Oh if you ever needed help a friend was there
Some good neighbor
Help lift your burden
Mmm, and the simple joys of life a friend would share
Times are harder and the people are changin
Now most folks couldnt tell you who their neighbors are
All their guns are loaded, the front doors are bolted
Aint this ol world takin hate and fear just a little too far
Oh you talk about the good times,
Talk about the good times
I wish I could go back to the days Im speakin of
When a friend would meet you
And a smile would greet you
What this ol world needs now is a little old fashioned love
My granddaddy God rest his soul now
Well we had a big long talk together the day he died
Said son this world is full of hate and venom
An I cant wait to leave this ol place and rest on the other side
Oh you talk about the good times, talk about the good times
Talk about the good times
Im gonna see all the friends I knew in the good ol days
Well have a big hand shakin
An sit and talk together
Sit down by the river jordan and sing our blues away
Oh you talk about the good times, talk about the good times
Talk about the good times
Im gonna see all the friends I knew in the good ol days
Well have a big hand shakin
An sit and talk together
Sit down by the river jordan and sing our blues away
Oh you talk about the good times, talk about the good times
Talk about the good times
Im gonna see all the friends I knew in the good ol days
Well have a big hand shakin
An sit and talk together
Sit down by the river jordan and sing our blues away
