Double edge

Knowledge always provides a double edge
To cement the wedge and ill the gauge
What more it needs?
Enriches power and frees from greed

It can be called source of energy
A natural gift from creator almighty
Not all may be bestowed with quick judgment
In readiness to face and ward of any bad moment

Man may be known by his brilliance
His capability to show caliber at variance
Not to be moved in any circumstances
Come to the rescue and save at once

Prosperity and fame comes with wealth
Good physique is distinguished by apparent health
But knowledge outplays all in each turn
He is at ease when everybody is facing heat or burns

“Child is known by his arrival on first day”
Brilliance or intelligence is shown all the way
You will know much of it later but class becomes known
You can predict what will he be of his own?

You may make or spoil the career
Knowledge should not prove as barrier
It must make smooth access
People should leave you with smiling face

Knowledgeable man is always respected
His words or call is never neglected
He is standing of his own in public dealing
He is known as noble man for all types of healing

Happy Smile

What can bring a happy smile on face?
Even this doesn’t happen with sound knowledge and base
Despite having firm commitment to the noble cause
Person seems to be engulfed with problems as it never was

I used to think on this aspect silently
Sometimes it may invite opposition vehemently
Right person may not like to be reminded often
As it hurts his ego and compels to go berserk even

Some of the tragic incidences grip a person
Make him little off the ground with reason
This is one of the critical moments and hard time
When special advice is needed sometimes

Many friends might have promised words
Call him any time in need and look forward
But some of the secrets are not to be shared with all
It is to be considered as one of the most confidential call

It might have put heavy stone on the heart
The burden can’t be passed on from the start
It has to be held on till the solution is found
Go smilingly and make merry go round

You neither can cry nor shout loudly
It will have to be faced proudly
The result may not be liked in essence
But it may have to appreciated at once

Not all people are blessed with brilliance
On the sport reply is a caliber at variance
It proves hidden capability of simple man
This one is always praised by his woman

Women always want their men to be perfect
Not to lack even point percent with their act
This has brought them near to the basic fact
Men must walk with them silently and not to react

Sonnet: On Knowledge

Knowledge is one thing priceless, people want;
Knowledge is something gained by labor long;
Knowledge is infinite; master, you-can't;
Knowledge is changeable, much like a song.

Knowledge is deeper than the oceans deep;
Knowledge is larger than the Universe;
Knowledge is barely in life, just a peep;
Knowledge if badly used becomes God's curse.

Knowledge remains undiminished, tho' you- share;
Knowledge gives man, a civilised outlook;
Knowledge if improper, you ought to pare;
Knowledge is gained from Nature and by book.
Knowledge can make a man a wiser one;
Knowledge gives Wisdom in the longer run.

A Knowledge empowers

Knowledge is considered as second birth
There are very talented persons and no dearth
It is honorable to feel and live on earth
You will be remembered for ever till or after death

It makes you to feel form inside
Your area of thrust extends very wide
It has no limit or any boundary
You are respected abroad and in your country

Certainly it is God gift and is known from inception
It can not be had by copying or from adoption
One has to strive very hard with all the open options
There is no other way open and is ruled out of questions

Not necessarily a person has to be kind and gentleman
He can be cruel, drunken or with any other quality but not as layman
It is definite knowledge that takes him to the logical end
He has the ability to win over foes or friends

Knowledge is not something to be propagated or shown in public
There is nothing special to be reflected or advanced as logic
It is felt in day to day performance or on each known movement
It is considered as unique occasion and pride moment

It makes man or woman reasonable with approach
They are gifted with humor and simplicity as such
They re compared to as that of laden tree with fruits
When really taken into use, it usually tests sweet

It is natural quality that comes to the fore
The flowers may be liked as before
No need to appreciate or praise therefore
It is going to last permanent and forever

It can influence vast majority of people
The powerful media or propaganda may not be able
To cut across the barrier and influence the opinion
It is one of the strongest links to form the union

Not all type of intelligence may work
Not all the fire may ignite or cause spark
It will be proper harnessing and capitalization
That the energy may be brought into use for any organization

If that has been used for destructive purpose
For a brief moment it may bring all glory and roses
It may find quick disappearance and get disposed
The question on its proper utility is never posed

Let it remain where it is supposed to be
Let whole mass avail it feel very free
It may be then understood that the knowledge is power
Dark clouds with enough rain then may shower

Wisdom and Knowledge

“Knowing others is wisdom and knowing yourself is enlightenment.”
How could a shy girl speak like this with so nice comment?
Well I could judge about her sharp intelligence and brilliance
She was at her full zenith and came to be aligned with variance

“Stand up for what you say and assert “
These were not the words spoken at the concert
These all came from well balanced mind’
I decided yet more to make bid and find

She had all the blessed vision
Not at all with double mind sans confusion
How could she say” would go rather in dark”
But not in light if that needs good start

You rested the idea with her contention
God understands language without any mention
It is how you sincerely project and prevail
Otherwise there is smooth passage for sail

Life seemed to her a learning process
Only you simply wanted the easy access
If that was showered upon you by almighty
There was no way of blocking such natural beauty

It is nice to a know person who is at distant place
Some times we are misguided by looking at face
You can’t judge a person his noble or bad intentions
Yet we know about it by our own inhibitions

To know a person means to scale height of mountain
It is difficult to lay hand on information and obtain
Even though that may not be difficult in context
It can’t be hidden or kept secret under any pretext

As I saw her keeping eyes and heads down
She had contention and observation of her own
Even though it may not be harmful to see through
It gives to many doubts as how it can be true

Life can prove very difficult if seen with restricted angles
It may form tragic and even love triangles
Yet we are used to it and carry on with resolve
Settle in life with problems and peacefully solve

The Wise Man

there was three men who met GOD.
and GOD said:
i will grant you the one thing
that you want most in the world.

the first man jumped up and replied:
i want to be the richest man in the world.
granted: GOD said

the second man said:
i want to be the most knowledgeable
man in the world.
granted: GOD said

then GOD turned to the third man and asked
what would you like?
the man pondered all the possibilities
and softly responded: 'free will'.

GOD looked at him and said:
you could have wealth or knowledge
like the other two, or health, love
anything that you want.
why did you pick free will?

well GOD: with free will, i could
make any choices that i want
and if it is wrong, i learn from the experience.
i could search for knowledge
and be able to achieve wealth
and read books to open
the mind that you have given me.

i could experience love, joy, sorrow,
happiness, sadness.
and use the five senses
that you have bestowed upon me.

let me see and feel all the beauties
of the world, and the wonders of my soul.
this is something that i could forever hold.

why would i want to change
what you have given me.
you don't make mistakes
this much i see.

GOD looked upon him and said:
you did not seek the material
things in this life.
but accepted what i have given.
and this is what is called 'living'.

you are truly one of the sons of GOD.
for it is within your heart.

Words like silk ribbons, run off too unwrap it.

Hidden Treasure

Why sea is so deep and beyond our reach?
Why everybody do not dive and catch?
The long treasured priceless items
Where as it is open for all and them

If you take sea as vast holder of knowledge
Certainly it has to be out maneuvered at its edge
You have to risk life and dive deep
There lies secret wealth under the belly and sleep

It is completely hidden in hard shells
So many wonders lye with them to tell
Not only about the origin but its vastness
How many secrets are buried there no one knows to see and face?

Same is with the knowledge and its secrets
You have to work hard and put in more efforts to get
Whole life may prove countless for attaining mastery
That is how it has been set by almighty

The efforts and labor never go in vain
Nothing is achieved without hard work or pain
It may test sweet if attained after great struggle
People say' life is useless if spent without any trouble'

Each individual has its own caliber and capacity
Not all are lucky to get whatever they want with best quality
No doubt, human being will never be satisfied
But honesty and hard labor brings in joy and hopes are not bellied

Enjoy the fruit and pass it on to others
If it is knowledge then definitely share
If it is wealth of great importance
Put it to human use at once

Wealth and fame come not by chance
It has long history of down fall and rise at once
If you successfully can ride on high waves
For anything else you may be in position to venture and dare

I salute to those who gamble and reach the shore
Life is gamble and risk has to be taken therefore
Life may give you no charm if spent aimless
Let us come out of idleness and meaningfully chase

Knowledge

Knowledge is power
A chop-chop growing flower
knowledge is dangerous
An overdosing negative force

And I have been walking its path
Right from the the start with my heart
Acknowledging it as a perfect invention
That can set me free or put me in detention

Knowledge is a privilege
It could place you at the cutting edge
When you pledge
To make it your privilege

Born are great deeds and weeds
As knowledge plants seeds
But Knowledge can deceive
At the end you choose what to believe

A Knowledge Light For Bright Future!

Nothing can be known in darkness;
Darkness makes one ignorant in life.
Light only makes one see in darkness;
Light removes darkness to show a way.

Ignorance is removed by knowledge;
Knowledge is light power leads in life.
Festival of lights celebrates brightness
And Festival of lights starts light of life!

Light of knowledge gives confidence
And helps gain courage and wealth.
Wealth without knowledge can’t last
And can’t give courage and power!

Knowledge is must for bright future
As knowledge is bright power in life!

Sonnet: Knowledge

Deny thee Knowledge never in this world,
Which is something better than even gold;
He is a fool, who knowledge never gains,
Remaining so forever if he feigns.

Knowledge makes a human very wise,
Scholarly, good in demeanor and nice;
Knowledge helps man to know the universe,
And goads him earn more wealth to fill purse.

Knowledge makes a man more cultured in life,
Gives him the courage to overcome strife;
Knowledge takes him near to the Maker;
Man knows God’s love for His beloved creature.

Gaining knowledge is a must in this world,
And helps him always till he is too old!

Knowledge Shall Increase

Learned people in the world gain more knowledge as each day goes by,
Unfortunately they never seem to acknowledge The Lord up in the sky.

Diplomas, certificates, and achievements are their present disguise,
But, The Lord up above will make foolishness the wisdom of the wise.

In the Bible the prophet Daniel stated that knowledge would increase,
However, in light of this increasing knowledge where is their peace.

Even in this world there's a peace to be found, this you can be sure,
But this peace is not of the world, but in the knowledge of The Lord.

The Lord also spoke of a famine that will spread throughout the land,
But his is not the normal famine of food that is known to common man.

It will be a spiritual famine, a worldwide famine of God's Holy Word,
Men's hearts will become harder, even some of those who have heard.

Soon all of the knowledge of the earth will be a thing of the past,
While only the knowledge of The Lord through all Eternity will last.

Man's wisdom and knowledge can be necessary down here on the earth,
But the knowledge for Heaven is higher and must include a New Birth.

This knowledge required for Eternity you will find in only one place,
It is found in God's Holy Bible, which we received through His Grace.

This knowledge is essential for everyone, when all is said and done,
For the only knowledge that will save you, is knowledge of The Son.

Guru's Amrit

1. May Thee open Thy august mouth of wisdom
To make me drink the Amrit of knowledge:
My Sat Guru, take me out of
Darkness into light !

2. To begin with, mayst Thee make me
Contemplate on my Sat Guru !
Moment after moment, would I
Pine to kneel before Thee !
Day and night, not for a moment
Would I suffer separation from Thee
May Thee open Thy august mouth of wisdom
And make me drink the Amrit of Thy knowledge !

3. My Guru, solve the problems of my life
Now that I am born !
Humble me not among saints;
Subdue the thieves of
My emotive senses by
Strengthening the power of my will !
May Thee open Thy august mouth of wisdom
And make me drink the Amrit of Thy knowledge !

3. Subduing my emotions, break the lustful elephant
Of my pugnacious conceit
Guide me, only on one
............ of the eleven paths !
Keep me not off from
The word, SUHUM
(I m Thee).
May Thee open Thy august mouth of wisdom
And make me drink the Amrit of Thy knowledge

5. Make me wash myself clean
In the Sheshrum Nag lake;
Look not at my sinful life !
Ferry me too across, as Thou did
Mohini Sada Guru.
May Thee open Thy august mouth of wisdom
And make me drink the Amrit of Thy knowledge !

6. Moment by moment, let me
Meditate on Thee
Make me think of and do, only that
Which's right to think and do !
O, Kamadeva, Shyam Sundara
Let me not come and go
Come and go (Shuttle between life and death)
May Thee open Thy august mouth of wisdom
And make me drink the Amrit of Thy knowledge !

7. O, Bishambara, grace me with Thy presence
Stay awhile.
isten to my tale:
Revive my old memories !
May Thee open Thy august mouth of wisdom
And make me drink the Amrit of Thy knowledge !

8. Grace me with Thy presence in graceful garlands
And, show me Thy haloed aura, luster light !
My day has passed by, mayst Thee not
Make me wait any longer !
Mayst Thee open Thy august mouth of wisdom
And make me drink the Amrit of Thy knowledge.

Fate to fight

Why think of their death to night?
When you are not sure of your fate to fight
Some what it created little awkwardness
Are we in full capacity to judge on their face?

The talk of reward comes later
Let us be peace lover and not hater
Life as such is totally uncertain
Important thing is to care for relation and maintain

Human life is full of misery
Love it to full extent even for your adversary
Never show to anybody that you are doing it out of pity
Act only to shows that you are just messenger of almighty

Whether life remains same or not should not cause any concern
Anything good performed by you may definitely turn
Your destiny and life into permanent peace
Life may be same again and spent at ease

Bow along with them for mass appeal
Your wish and desire should be in fact real
No lip services or out side show shown to the people
Else it my be known soon and land you in trouble

Let us go to their help if blessed with resources
Internal wishes and conscience must act as divine force
Noble soul with its action is always noticed by all
They see in it a good gesture to respond the call

We all must show sympathy in their troubled days
Pray almighty to come to the rescue and show the way
Render everything if that can over come their woes
Ponder not over result if almighty comes to your help and does

Poet not to remain quiet

It is essence of poet not to remain quiet
Even though may not have knowledge considered to be basic
The thoughts and images must reach to the masses
As they may have enough of it to read in classes

The flower may not know what fragrance it has
There might not be awareness yesterday as it was
Still there may be bright tomorrow to celebrate
It may be simple try by poet to project and narrate

The poets are called crazy and thought driven
They do not bother for their appearance even
They eat whatever they get and stay wherever they are
The world is so close to them and not very far

They are part of each living object
They accept it in mind and never reject
They try to feel natural belongingness
And it is there as gift to feel oneness

Not all can feel the impulse of nature
Not all can see the well being of future
Only few can breathe with it and survive
They make it perfect and try to revive

It requires third eye to feel the real soul
You may witness it casually and not as whole
You get hurt when something wrong is done to nature
You express sorrow when over apathy to cure

Not that people are cruel and less sentimental
They may be part of bad set up and very much instrumental
Yet poet is different from others and feels grieved
He has the noble soul and her words are respected and believed

Everybody may be passing through critical phase
There may be mad race and long chase
Yet there may be enough of reasonability in approach
Poet may try to project but not attempt to teach or preach

Some of them may be called nationalist
Some one may be well known as futurists
Some may come out as strong supporters of the liberty
Some may prove very good at prayers of almighty

It is not that only poets do great service
People from many walks of life also suffice
Their contribution is well known and of very good standard
It is the basis for which to go ahead and look forward

But the rainbow can only be seen in poetic heart
By little appearance of natural beauty it will simply start
It will pen beautiful words to please old and young alike
Not all the ideas may occur to all or strike

When knowledge is the slave of social considerations, it defines a special class; when it serves its own ends only, it no longer does so. There is of course a profound logic in this paradox: genuine knowledge is egalitarian in that it allows no privileged source, testers, messengers of Truth. It tolerates no privileged and circumscribed data. The autonomy of knowledge is a leveller.

Song

Not the soft sighs of vernal gales,
The fragrance of the flowery vales,
The murmurs of the crystal rill,
The vocal grove, the verdant hill;
Not all their charms, though all unite,
Can touch my bosom with delight.

Not all the gems on India's shore,
Not all Peru's unbounded store,
Not all the power, nor all the fame,
That heroes, kings, or poets claim;
Nor knowledge which the learn'd approve,
To form one wish my soul can move.

Yet Nature's charms allure my eyes,
And knowledge, wealth, and fame I prize;
Fame, wealth, and knowledge I obtain,
Nor seek I Nature's charms in vain;
In lovely Stella all combine,
And, lovely Stella! thou art mine.
