Defend other mothers

Oh, dear angel and my only daughter
You may be cursing me as your most hated mother
But dear daughter I was left with no other
Your birth pushed me in dark with lot more to bother

No mother on earth may leave the child behind
For someone else to see and find
What a shame on her to be unkind!
Yet in large interest she has to turn blind

Don't you think today I was reasonable?
When took decision amidst lots of troubles
Everybody was against your arrival in this world
It was unnatural on my part to develop cold

I know how painful it may be to miss on mother's day
When all beautiful mothers are on their way
To see and meet their beloved sons and daughters
I am only one crying behind curtain and closing the shutters

Dear daughter, you could have not seen this bright day
You are alive because I took fateful decision to keep you away
Which mother will think of leaving baby in desert place?
Where wolves are ready to pounce upon pry and eat the flash

You are never forgotten and it may never happen so
Only thing I am not permitted to open old chapter and go
The social walls are difficult to scale and escape
Since I was mercilessly assaulted and subjected to rape

Life for me is no less than hell
Nothing is going on as per wish or turning well
Think of living hell and you will forgive
I have nothing more to give

You be blessed and stay wherever you are
I shall never be able to return as gone very far
Your lovely face comes before my fading eyes
I turn head down, feel guilty and shy off

Not a day is passing off without your name
My angel, you are in my memory and mind frame
You always hang there and remind me of cowardice
That as mother I failed in each promises

I am woman too and have some limitations
It is not only bond by flash and blood relations
But attached with beautiful moments
Now they have turned against me to resent

Why all curses are meant for woman?
Why not some of portion goes to the erring man?
Why error only counted as human and not forgiven
Today I am victim of circumstances and forcefully driven

I want to express my deep anguish but no sorrow
As you have bright future and shining tomorrow
You may come forward and defend other mothers
Share their pain and agony and offer the solder

Song: XI

Mother, mother, do you not hear?
Mother, they come; there is news to tell!
– Give me your hands, my daughter dear:
'Tis but a ship that saileth well.

Mother dear, have a care, give heed!
–They go, my daughter, away they speed.
Mother, the danger is sore, alas!
– Child, my child, it will quickly pass.

Mother, mother, She draweth near!
– It is down in the harbour, daughter dear.
Mother, mother, She opens the door!
– Child, they go, to return no more.

Mother, She enters! I am afraid!
– Child, they now have the anchor weighed.
Mother, I hear Her speaking low.
– Child, my child, it is they that go.

Mother, She makes the stars go dark!
– Child, 'tis the sails of a shadowy bark.
Mother, She knocks at the casement still!
– Child, maybe it is fastened ill. . . .

Mother, mother, my sight grows dim. . . .
– Child, they sail for the open sea.
On every hand I can hear but Him. . . .
– O child, what is it, and who is He?

My Real Goddess

Today my mother
Came to my house
With lots of blessing
And full of good wishing
To live long
Happy and healthy
Progressive and wealthy
My mother
My sweet mother
My beautiful mother
My loving mother
My real goddess
My ever goodness
My first lady I loved
My life my mother
My soul my mother
My God-gift my mother
My pride my mother
My aim my mother
My teacher my mother
My friend my mother
My preacher my mother
My daughter's face look-like my mother
My daughter my little mother
O the Absolute Almighty
Give me my mother
Again and again
And again and again
My mother
Only my mother.

Miss You Badly

I was selfish and erring human
She was exception and lovely woman
I call her my mother and best in world
How safe I was when went to her fold!

I cry to full extent and miss badly
I have no memory and spent day very sadly
O mom! Show me your face at least once
I have tried but have no more chance

I vividly remember being at orphanage
Somebody had wrapped me and dropped near drainage
I was taken to child home and brought up with care
World was so small for me to go somewhere

I understand you may be threatened by dark clouds
It may be puzzling you with lightening sound
How terrible it might have been to make night round!
dropp the child at wild place and never to be found

I can imagine about the inner cruse for life
You might have tried to be ideal and good wife
Alas! I could have been your beautiful baby
Just little blessing from almighty might have kept you steady

I have breathed safely in their hands
They all are like me and behave as friends
I look at stars and try to find you out
To know the meaning of 'mother' and think about

You may surely be innocent like moon
You may try to find me out soon
Mom, how will you find me from so many children?
You may have no faintest ideas even

I miss you today and feel shy to look at sun
Why had all divine forces made you to run?
What was the compelling situation for you to desert?
Does the situation not change it to revert?

Mom, wherever you are and whatever you are
You are my favorite and shining star
I see no fading light in you but twinkling shine
You always come in my dream and look fine

I will not cry as an orphan
I am daughter of pretty woman
I miss you in heart and silently weep
You remember me sometimes but happily sleep

I know how hard it may be to leave behind
A crying child to somebody's trust and never to find
You might have dashed your head against walls
With heavy heart you might have obeyed to calls

Today is the day to remember mothers all over
Let them find in comfortable position with shield or cover
Many more may be abandoned in coming days
Let god suggest and instill beautiful ways

I curse the luck and miss you
But not pass the blame as you have passed through
All agony and pain not suffered by any one
You are for me so special and sacred woman

A Mother Does Not

A mother does not raise her child for to fight and die in war
Or to kill another Human Being in a Country from home far
That her son or her daughter should at someone else shoot to kill
A person they have never known or who have never bore them ill.

Picasso's 'Screaming Woman' is for all woman kind
The mother weeps for her dead child with grief 'out of her mind'
Mothers do not raise their children for to be remembered on War Memorial Day
For to fight in war for war mongering non combatants and throw their lives away

A mother raises her son or daughter so her seed of life will live on
That her genes will still be around when she herself has gone
From the World of the living to be numbered amongst the dead
I wish for my children to outlive me that's what the mother said.

A mother does not raise her child for to meet with an early death
Not for her War Memorial Day or the words 'Lest we forget'
She wants her son and daughter for to grow old and gray
And she does not wish to hear of War and War Memorial Day.

The Shadow-Child

Why do the wheels go whirring round,
Mother, mother?
Oh, mother, are they giants bound,
And will they growl forever?
Yes, fiery giants underground,
Daughter, little daughter,
Forever turn the wheels around,
And rumble-grumble ever.

Why do I pick the threads all day,
Mother, mother,
While sunshine children are at play?
And must I work forever?
Yes, shadow-child; the live-long day,
Daughter, little daughter,
Your hands must pick the threads away,
And feel the sunshine never.

Why do the birds sing in the sun,
Mother, mother,
If all day long I run and run,
Run with the wheels forever?
The birds may sing till day is done,
Daughter, little daughter,
But with the- wheels your feet must run—
Run with the wheels forever.

Why do I feel so tired each night,
Mother, mother?
The wheels are always buzzing bright;
Do they grow sleepy never?
Oh, baby thing, so soft and white,
Daughter, little daughter,
The big wheels grind us in their might,
And they will grind forever.

And is the white thread never spun,
Mother, mother?
And is the white cloth never done,
For you and me done never?
Oh yes, our thread will all be spun,
Daughter, little daughter,
When we lie down out in the sun,
And work no more forever.

And when will come that happy day,
Mother, mother?
Oh, shall we laugh and sing and play
Out in the sun forever?
Nay, shadow-child, we'll rest all day,
Daughter, little daughter,
Where green grass grows and roses gay,
There in the sun forever.

My Mother(aday)

Blessed is your face
Blessed is your name
My beloved

Blessed is your smile
Which makes my soul want to fly
My beloved

All the nights
And all the times
That you cared for me
But I never realised it
And now it’s too late
I miss you

Now I’m alone filled with so much shame
For all the years I caused you pain
If only I could sleep in your arms again
Mother I’m lost without you

You were the sun that brightened my day
Now who’s going to wipe my tears away
If only I knew what I know today
Mother I’m lost without you

Mother... Mother... O my mother
How I long to see O mother
“Your mother, Your mother, Your mother”
Is the saying of our Prophet(s.a.w)
In my heart, in my dreams
You are always with me mother

You went and left me
O light of my eyes
O comfort of my nights
You went and left me
Who, other than you, will embrace me?
Who, other than you, will cover me?
Who, other than you, will guard over me?
Your pardon mother, I miss you

Nursing You

On the first night
of the full moon,
the primeval sack of ocean
broke,
& I gave birth to you
little woman,
little carrot top,
little turned-up nose,
pushing you out of myself
as my mother
pushed
me out of herself,
as her mother did,
& her mother's mother before her,
all of us born
of woman.

I am the second daughter
of a second daughter
of a second daughter,
but you shall be the first.
You shall see the phrase
'second sex'
only in puzzlement,
wondering how anyone,
except a madman,
could call you 'second'
when you are so splendidly
first,
conferring even on your mother
firstness, vastness, fullness
as the moon at its fullest
lights up the sky.

Now the moon is full again
& you are four weeks old.
Little lion, lioness,
yowling for my breasts,
rowling at the moon,
how I love your lustiness,
your red face demanding,
your hungry mouth howling,
your screams, your cries
which all spell life
in large letters
the color of blood.

You are born a woman
for the sheer glory of it,
little redhead, beautiful screamer.
You are no second sex,
but the first of the first;
& when the moon's phases
fill out the cycle
of your life,
you will crow
for the joy
of being a woman,
telling the pallid moon
to go drown herself
in the blue ocean,
& glorying, glorying, glorying
in the rosy wonder
of your sunshining wondrous
self.

Who is a Mother

Who is a Mother?

A mother is someone
soft and kind

Firm not harsh

Someone who is always
willing to give a listening ear.

Someone we cherish each
and everyday

Mothers are rare like
precious gems

Many have children
but few mother them.

Mothers unique

World around
Mother this day
celebrations abound.

Mother who dare goes by that name?
Only them that know, to nurture,
Care and understand.

Mothers near and far stand tall
Be you Aunt, Grandma or Mother dear

Mother – who is Mother here?

A Mother Kisses.....

the world will be wonderful in you
with every day’s stay; you have open my
silent mood, after a life time of waiting in
your womb dear mother....

my flesh have born again, by just a
touch of your tender and smooth skin, and
i feel something that rejuvenate my last
lips i offer; to secure as you stay my past,
oh! stay my beloved beginning of my flesh
lovely mother......

open my young heart, for i will give you all
my love, to any distances surprise your joy
i remain, my beautiful mother.....

i play round, from role of tide, and as far
i’ll stay i always will turn too, give me the
chance for a moment to be with you, lasting i
pray that made me to stay in the womb, for
another time with you again and someday
i belong to thee, beloved mother.....

your kisses have say that my life is willing to
come home my darling mother.......

Happy Mother's Day

O Mary, Mother of God,
You are my everlasting Mother,
You help me and protect every one of us,
Whatever it might be, unlike other;

O Mother dear,
You are my most beloved Mother,
With your two hands you did so much,
It is beyond any words thinkable.

Comfort thy O Mother,
And endeavor to do,
What is conducive to
The happiness of her heart.

O Mother, Mary
Give us all the blessings and unconditional love,
Taking care of us all the time,
Thank you so much, O Mother Mary.

Mothers around the world,
The burden and suffering you carry are so great,
They beat every Guinness Book world records made,
But you know your responsibilities have not ended yet.

Be sure to enjoy this joyous day,
For love is poured especially for you,
Cherish and remember this wonderful day,
For you all are the greatest mothers.

May God Bless All Mothers on Earth;
Happy Mother’s Day to Our Beloved mothers.

Life for mother and child

Life for mother and child remains same
Whether black or white they claim
Nature is hard and luck is not fair
Wind blows harshly but not the air

How many months of heavy load
Spending time on open road
Struggling to earn for new born baby
Still looking towards sky and feel happy

Not all mothers may be that much lucky
The birth of baby may not be smooth but very risky
The sun may be at its peak
Mother may cry in pain and feel very weak

Beast may be just dry
As no nourishment even after good try
Yet it is allowed to suck
So many dreams are struck

Mother wants full strength and wellbeing of child
She is there to bear all odds and still feels not wild
The child is like pearl in her eyes and very precious
She tries to protect from sun, rain and serves continuous

African mothers have suffered a lot
Against nature and human beings fought
Still no hope of peace in near future
What to talk of all children for sure

They definitely demand an answer
Only God has answer or with some fewer
It is man made crisis and prevails unabated
All mothers are alike and simply equated

Where there is nothing, only black color fits
On arrival there is distribution of sweets
He is very much on the face of earth
And remain so till the arrival of death

Let us not degrade mother’s position
In all the seasons she bears same composition
Whether in desert, hot sun or in heavy rain
She has all kinds of hostilities to face with pain

I wish to bow my head to all mothers
Forgive us for all our sins and don’t bother
We love you all and cherish too
You are one that never goes off mind and stays through

We love your company and may want till the end
You are the only one as companion and true friend
You can never be black or white in our heart
You are embodiment of love and lovely piece of living art

Ocean Of Affection Vavroovahana Patra

Mother’s love is an ocean of affection;
Earth is beautiful with mother’s creation.
Her love attracts sons and daughters;
In her lap they are sweet lovely creatures.

Earth smiles with mother’s dedication;
Mothers are innocent lovely women of creation.
Children derive peace serving mother;
They are Deities in the lap of creator.

Mother’s cosy face attracts day and night;
She is a Ganga of Purity and Delight.
Is a boo9k of inspiration;
Poet’s are renowned with mother’s benediction.

Mother’s affection Eternal on Earth;
She is an Ocean of Love and Mirth.
Is the incarnation of Tranquility;
Is a River of Delight.

Mother inspires to be great on Earth;
Serving the Mother glorious becomes human birth.
She toils hard for sons and daughters;
They are sweet lovely society’s creator.

Mother To Mother

Mother to daughter, mother to mother
A greater love, there is no other.
You looked towards me for your guidance and my love
But this was given to both of us
From the lord up above.
I protected and sheltered you the best that I could.
And you followed the same road that we all take
We did not stop or hesitate.
A mother is not one who just gives birth
But one who shows her worth.

I was her mother, she was my daughter
Everything according to GODS order.
I raised mine, she raised her own.
But the love we had was always shown.
She was like the sun bringing light into this world
For she was my little girl.
She was like the sun radiating beauty from
The inside out, of that I have no doubt.
As the sun brings a smile to your face
And leaves you with a glow inside.
She could do this, and that’s no lie.
She created life, and loved them with such tender care
And the joys and sorrows, with them she’d share.
She loved and honored her children in every way she could
And raised them the way a mother should.
She was closer to me, more than anyone could ever know
And put in me a strength that would grow.
When it was the time for the LORD to take her away
And I’m sure that she wanted to stay.
She gave her soul to our lord above
But left us with an enduring love.
So to my daughter I say to you, I loved you at your birth
And I loved you till the end, for you was
not only my daughter, but my friend.
mother to mother, I thank you with all my heart and soul
For you left me with beautiful children for me to hold.

Golden-Tressed Adelaide

SING, I pray, a little song,
Mother dear!
Neither sad nor very long:
It is for a little maid,
Golden-tressed Adelaide!
Therefore let it suit a merry, merry ear,
Mother dear!

Let it be a merry strain,
Mother dear!
Shunning e’en the thought of pain:
For our gentle child will weep,
If the theme be dark and deep;
And we will not draw a single, single tear,
Mother dear!

Childhood should be all divine,
Mother dear!
And like an endless summer shine;
Gay as Edward’s shouts and cries,
Bright as Agnes’ azure eyes:
Therefore, bid thy song be merry:—dost thou hear,
Mother dear?

Rupa

I had heard her name whispered,

Among ladies of good 'culture',

In hushed tones it was said....

She was of easy morale! ! !

Often at social do's, She would be spite upon.

Away from all these, I wondered what she longed for?

Leaving alone a family of three, Husband, daughter and son of eight,

How could a mother set herself free?

At daybreak, didnt her heart ache, to see her baby's face?

Men may be from Mars, And a wife may get tired,

But a mother? Didnt her heart bleed,

At evenings, whenever she missed her daughter?

Oblivious to my musings, I heard she lives

In solitary confinement.

Away from prying eyes,

Nestled in her mothers care, with the love-child she had, by her lover!

Her lover, a man younger in years, had finally left her

.Its said, inspite of her husbands entreaties,

She had left, her home and children,

Privileges of a blessed life, she had forsaken............

But why? Why does a woman choose to defy?

Known to be a gentile woman, And yet today she is despised!

Does it ever cross her mind,

At what cost and why, did she buy this ignominy?

Happiness, future, power, positionShe left it all behind! ! ! !

I fail to gather, how and why Did she decide,

To throw it all awayFor a whimsical fanciful fly?

Unbeknown to her, I try to findThe frailities of a human-life,

That often tends to put us on our worst side.

But is it worth a try?

Is she happy, at peace with her love-child?

And the son-daughter she left behind?

They say for them she has all but died!

Will they ever understand, forgive her intrigue?

What she wanted and what she has, I know not,

Having never met her, i can hardly justify.

But Rupa, I do think of you, And of your travails too.

At times when I am at the end of my patience,

I close my eyes and remember you.

I have chosen silence, so have you.

And remain ignoramus, no matter whats said by who.

A Poem for Mothers, and Mine

The love of a mother is beyond compare
One who dearly loves and is always there
From scraped knees
To falls from trees
A mother cares for all
From “I told you so”
To “That’s a no-no! ”
A mother answers the call
Mothers cook, mothers clean, some even work a job
Even with all their strength, a mother still knows how to sob
Mothers should be honored for all they have done
Every day of the year, not just one
There is nothing better than a mother’s love
For her time on this earth thank God above
A mother’s love endures forever
Its unbreakable bonds no on can sever
No matter how much I have grown
My mother’s love is always shown
She has become a mentor and a guide
Within her always I am able to confide
No better payment for her I can find
Then to love her with heart, and with mind
To the one who bore me; I share my emotion
To the one who raised me; Absolute devotion
To this woman I express my joy
You will always be my “mommy” and I your “baby boy”

Hidden from this Thing That They Call Life

Dear Mother
Dear Father
Every Thought I'd Think You'd Disapprove
Curator
Dictator
Always Cencoring My Every Move
Children Are Seen Bur Are Not Heard
Tear out Everything Inspired

Innocence
Torn from Me Without Your Shelter
Barred Reality
I'm Living Blindly

Dear Mother
Dear Father
Time Has Frozen Still What's Left to Be
Hear Nothing
Say Nothing
Cannot Face the Fact I Think for Me
No Guarantee
