Look Backward

There is no use going forward
Where we have nothing but hollow words
Only promises but with no more bright future
Even our existence is no more stable or sure

Where are we heading for?
Towards total peace or intermittent war!
Casualties to count more than war times!
One is compelled to think seriously sometimes

Thousands of people die on the name of ideology
It is worst crime than to destroy the ecology
How human mind can again be made fertile?
Fed with ideas that are in real sense worthwhile

Travel from one end of the universe to another
The storms of all kinds don’t seem to wither
Daily it plays havoc with our mental system
How long and relentlessly we go on thinking about them?

We will have to come back or return to nature
Original place from where we had learnt about future
To advance for the betterment of mankind
But today not a fraction of it is available to find

No a single soul wants to live under fear
We have spent ages to come so near
Today we wish to live without any fear
But destruction and uncertainty is seen everywhere

World doesn’t belong to us any more
It has become distinct possibility therefore
Who knows when world will return to normalcy?
Will it be made possible by way of diplomacy?

Free exchanges and tolerance is the key to peace
Now people to people contacts are almost not at ease
There prevails distrust and hatred for certain races
Let us not leave behind heritage with such traces

"Humanity demands"
That should be our clear stand
We long for peace
And want to leave at ease

Let there be moratorium
More space for stadiums
Where sports come up for youth
No love lost further and only words to soothe

Let us turn new leaf
As we have turned deaf
Stop the use of guns
As they are not meant for fun

There is great use of blood
As made after prolonged process of food
Let it not go as wastage
Hatred may not be wiped even after ages

Let us build new bridge
Let the relation not freeze
Have warmth and feelings for each other
There is lot more to think and bother

Can we create new page for good?
Have we taken out few words and understood?
If not, this is real time to turn the table
Life may then be only peaceful and stable

Beauty

Learned poets have said “beauty is to enjoy”
Like fresh flowers always give you joy
Don’t attempt to pluck or destroy
Not to play with it as simple toy

Thing of beauty is joy for ever
Ever lasting and fading never
Liked by eyes and smelt by nose
Fresh fragrance of flower always like rose

Is beauty confined to physical appearance?
Does inner beauty find no substance?
Is that looking so important and imposing?
No matter whether it denied or trust reposing?

Beauty not to be taken from sex point of view,
It is acknowledgement of grace and dews
what matters most is simple praise and fact?
Leaving behind all games and not to look suspect

Even God is given another name for beauty
Universal acknowledgement for kindness but not pity
We al raise out hands for its grace
Meet all with happiness and embrace

There lies beauty in all the objects around

Let Life Prevail

this world of ours is in complete disarray
so many countries fighting every day.
they say that war helps the economy
this is something that i can not see.

some must die, so that others can live
to me, that's a crying sin.
civil and world wars reign
the taking of lives is not a game.

since the beginning of time
man has failed
why don't we let life prevail?

why do we seek to destroy one another
as ABEL and CAIN had done.
to have a guilty conscience is not fun.

if it was in GODS will for us to kill one another.
there would not be a place to live
we would just live in sin.

but! he gave us an option at birth
we must use it for what its worth.
open your eyes and look around
for this world will be torn to the ground.

there will not be a place to hide
no matter how hard you try.
family members will be slaughtered
that will be the daily order.

seeing your mother and father
laying on the ground
looking up without a sound.

Acid Test

Are we not becoming intolerant society?
Gruesome murders, riots stabbing –all in different varieties?
May be it has become part of our life and necessities
Everybody wants to capitalize and understands its futility

On the name of religion, we simply kill each other
Humanity on run and no one takes care or bother
Shame, hatred curse all have taken front seat
No regrets on face – see face to face and sit

What makes it so difficult to meet each other?
Have we gone berserk and unnecessarily differ
Have we nothing new to see and offer?
Why unpleasant things in life to utter?

We may not find answer to this or solution
We have no means to for evaluation
Morality is no where and has lost the ground
Near is near miss and no whereto be found

We can’t tolerate the well being of others
Frustration and worries all that bothers us
We don’t find ways to satisfy ourselves
We talk different and abnormally behave

Thousands are killed in day light scene
Flash with bodies scattered and all over seen
May be we still don’t need peace or respite
Nature has turned blind eye on us to ignite

Have we gone crazy over the issues?
Does humanity demand no dues?
Are we in state of shock and despair?
Can we not build trust or repair?

Will this not stop in days to come?
Will our efforts fail and or are not welcome?
Do we need complete annihilation from surface?
Is it right path or we call it mad race?

With so much bitterness, kill or get killed
Traitors and terrorists get rejoice and thrilled

Is ethnic cleansing only way out?

What is all this nonsense and war talk about?
Why do we face unseasonal rain and drought?

Are we not wholly to be blamed?

No solution in sight despite staggering cost

Take it for granted humanity may survive
Existence with harmony and peace may revive

Sonnet: The World has Aplenty

The earth has place for more people to live;
Its trees have wood for more houses to build;
Its soil can generate more food and give;
There isn’t a dearth of good souls for a guild.

The rivers have fresh-water plentiful;
The earth has much reserve of oil and ore;
If peace prevails, earth looks so beautiful;
The rich nations cannot the poor ignore.

The money/ food wastage can millions feed;
Each man must love his neighbor honestly;
The brotherhood of nations is the need;
The human race is one and one must be!

Wake up humans! There is no time to waste;
Let not your greed enslave others in haste!

A blood hots up

It is national sentiment and I am deeply shocked
At gruesome murders when day light is rocked
When crowd is fired at and resulting into deaths?
Long queues are scene for laying the wreath

It has become routine and hunting ground
New technique is employed and innovative ways are found
People are slain in broad day light
They want to conquer without offering fight

What do they to offer to their brethren?
What can be their aim to find in light of lantern?
Have they done blind to the senseless killings?
Are people in for it with willing?

It makes me bleed and hurts most
Irreparable loss is done by them at no cost
it may not be material loss or damage
it makes country to bleed and making it difficult to manage

How long we will witness the carnage?
Why people are killed and thrown into drainage?
What type of game they are involved in?
Is it not the dirty tricks or ways employed very mean?

Why to we distrust the system and cast a doubt?
Why sudden loss of face and turn about?
Is there any secret understanding between terrorists or clout?
Why sudden spurt in violence to face the rout?

It pains me deeply and hurts conscience
I must go into oblivion for doing nothing with silence
I can’t knock the inner voice and ask for remedy
Life has turned hostile with tragedy

I will not stand up and face the weather
Neither I will cry nor continuously bother
May consider it as set back and differ
Opinion of others stand good but we have to suffer

It gave me enough of strength to stand fast
Mind occupied with sense with courage to last
Nothing so particular with malice intention
Still it stood as test and raised many question

I must search the soul and repent
No to further quest and silently consent
Confine to reality with utmost sincerity
Movement with steady pace and no more hostility

I should go down with human dignity
Love to live with natural beauty
that is there on earth without any blame?
Can any one remain aloof and claim?

I too would live with no malign intent
Avoid unpleasant scene and remain content
God is so kind to grant us whatever we desire
why then we hesitate and not even admire?

I want to give message of peace
Abhor the violence and try for hostility to cease
Nothing may help to solve the misery
We will god own as butchers in the history

Violence adds to violence
Cruelty and death can’t be compensated with condolence
Let us sit together and bring an end to bloodshed
To bring revolution by bloodshed is not a trade

Love appears and with disappearance of hatred
Life begins and there is joy and happiness to lead
With her at complete command of new scene
She is at her best and usually not seen

She is in mediation
In search of new relation
To find secrets of eternal peace
Life further to be spent at ease

She has it in the vicinity
Yet unable to define serenity
She has deep sense and quality
Purest form of love and ability

May find the light
With much to offer and fight
That may take her to the tunnel

People say I’m different

Wishes from heart to shed the differences away
