For us to make up our minds,
It is time to get what we put off
To get something done?

I was fired off by a very good friend
I thought it will bring about an abrupt end
She was for all praise for good friend
She was no doubt very clear with trend
I said I can improve upon and mend
She was adamant and refused to bend
I had liked her from the beginning
She was fire brand and very shining
Her approach very clear and convincing
I too liked her words without mincing
She was tall in figure and beautiful
I thought she may be equally faithful
She might come up with all that may be purposeful
I too longed for her and was very hopeful
Even though she was far away
I did not feel bad in any way
She had her option very much open
I too was very much hopeful even
She has boyfriend she told
But in fact she proved she is very bold
She would not easily go to any fold
She may be opposed to any idea or very cold
It did not make me sink
I even saw her without any wink
She was merely stating her position
I dreamed about her with very good composition

Read the paper later

While Im reading the news.
Wife:
Darling get a move on
Youre cutting it fine.
Star:
Cool it baby
Ive got plenty of time.
A quick cup of coffee and a slice of
Toast and the star (or should we say,
Norman? ) is off to do battle with the
Rush hour queues and traffic jams.

No one gives a damn.
No one knows where Im going to
No one knows who I am.
Im sitting in my office
In the metropolis
Im just part of the scenery,
Im just part of the machinery.
Chained to my desk on the 22nd floor,
I cant break out through the automatic door,
Id jump out the window but I cant face the drop
Im sitting in a cage with an eye on the clock.
Im ready to start paying my dues,
Ive got to lose those early-morning-cant-stop-yawning,

Not Ready To Say Goodbye
neither one of us was ready to say goodbye.
but we knew that it was my time.
there are so many things
that we think to say, but we never
find the time, or the way.
the love that had built up
over the years
the joys, the happiness, the cheers.
all these memories come to you
quick as a flash
but not enough time to make it last.
although neither of us is ready
to say goodbye.
you know that i'll be fine.
i'll be with JESUS and our father
from above
receiving all their blessings
and their love.
look into my eyes and you will see
all the love inside of me.
so although there are so many
words unspoken
i leave you a gift
a blessing, a token.
i leave you a 'so long'
and not a goodbye
for soon we will be
side by side.
