An eyes on horizons

My eyes couldn’t reach the horizon
I could see it divided into zones
I still owned large chunk of the land
I had complete control, in mu hand

It has come after logn struggle
I know it is like water bubble
I may not be here to own it for long
All my efforts may prove me wrong

I proudly stand on land and acclaim
I have every reason to believe and claim
It has no validity behind any assumption
The life stands for only time consumption

One may come and stay for a while
He may be astonished at the flow of Nile
How much one can pick from its abundant flow?
Not enough asdit will prove very slow

There is no end to lust
Thought efforts are necessary and must
If hold for longer period then iron also may rust
Name too will disappear id blown over by dust

What happens when eye sight becoems weak?
When you are confined to bed and fell sick?
You have no power to hold the stick
Chances to hold firm recede and bleak

How do you then proclaim as victory?
How do you prevent locking of factory?
The control seemes to be loosing ground
No favorable situation is ever found

Well, this had been advocated then and now
It was put bluntly to hold it firmly and how
We paid no attention to exploit it at bare minimum
The complete life was lost to acquire maximum

It is slipping away from hand at eleventh hour
We have no time to count the years
It had been complet waste of life span
We roamed whole pond like swan

Hold My Hand

With a little love, and some tenderness
Well walk upon the water
Well rise above this mess
With a little peace, and some harmony
Well take the world together
Well take em by the hand
cause Ive got a hand for you
cause I wanna run with you
Yesterday, I saw you standing there
Your head was down, your eyes were red
No comb had touched your hair
I said get up, and let me see you smile
Well take a walk together
Walk the road awhile, cause
cause Ive got a hand for you
Ive got a hand for you
cause I wanna run with you
Wont you let me run with you? yeah
Hold my hand
Want you to hold my hand
Hold my hand
Ill take you to a place where you can be
Hold my hand
Anything you wanna be because
I wanna love you the best that, the best that I can
See I was wasted, and I was wasting time
till I thought about your problems, I thought about your crimes
Then I stood up, and then I screamed aloud
I dont wanna be part of your problems
Dont wanna be part of your crowd, no
cause Ive got a hand for you
Ive got a hand for you
cause I wanna run with you
Ah, wont you let me run with you?
Hold my hand
Want you to hold my hand
Hold my hand
Ill take you to the promised land
Hold my hand
Maybe we cant change the world but
I wanna love you the best that, the best that I can, yeah
Hold my hand
Want you to hold my hand
Hold my hand
Ill take you to a place where you can be
Hold my hand
Anything you wanna be because
I...oh...no, no, no, no, no
Hold my hand
Want you to hold my hand
Hold my hand
Ill take you to the promised land
Hold my hand
Maybe we cant change the world but
I wanna love you the best that, best that I can
Oh, the best that I can

Hold Me

It's you that
I run to
Whenever I need to
Darling, you console me
When trouble surrounds me
When bad times have found me
Just reach out your arms and hold me
Hold me
Hold me
Darling please take me
In your arms of safety
Reach out your arms
And hold me
Hold me
When my feelings are showing
When my tears are flowing
Just reach out
Reach out and hold me
Hold me
Hold me
You know all of my needs
You fill them completely
You know
That you control me
I depend on
Your lovin'
Without you
I'm nothin'
So reach out
Your arms and hold me
Hold me
Hold me
Darling please take me
In your arms of safety
Reach out you arms
And hold me
Hold me
When life is demanding
When I need understanding
Reach out
Reach out and hold me
Hold me
Hold me

Hold Your Position (Stones)

Now here comes the great musical thing called "hold your position"
Rasta, them style ya a just levelment Uncle seen
Hold me position, Just a hold me position
I ya, hold me position, just a hold me position
Go on, hold me position, just a hold me position
Just like Jesus Christ in the valley of decision
Devil come along and tru to deceive man through him
Got him plan from the older one
Him had to hold him position, had to hold him position yeh
Hold him position, had to hold him position
Well rhythm like this makes me and me daughter
Go down at the dance, bubble on the corner
When the rhythm is sweet, we a go hold tighter
Rub-adub like this makes you go one
So you hold your position
Say you hold you position aya
Hold your position, say hold your position
Things and time was a getting slow let off the rhythm
Let the good time roll
Don't bother go a slow and stay a back row
I man come to make the rhythm
Just a rock and flow, because me hold me position
Just a hold me position
Special request to 39 Acker Tree, Frontline, everyman on Kime
UB40 say come and rhyme
Yes, Daddy Stone, me in the dance hall style
So we really come to make it versatile
Because one of a kind we come to blow your mind
So you should hold you position
Yes, hold your position, aya
Hold your position, hold your position
Hold Your Position (cont'd) Stones
Skank steady, Skank Steady
I tell you rock the rhythm
You should skank down steady
You know you say, it heavier than lead
Kinda tougher than tough
You know that Jah, Jah covers
Since he stands over us
So hold your position
Hold your position
Move to the east, and you could a move to the west
Lyrics like this Jab know never go jest
Say chunk ice water say right to your chest
Intercity, outer city everywhere the best you better
Hold you position, just hold your position
Hold you position, say hold your position
Well rhythm like this is really so hot
Let off the vilse because a legal shot
Because we hold our position
Yes, we hold our position aya
Hold our position yes, hold our position
Hold on tight never let go
Tee, ta, tee, say them all in a row
Donkey want water, you should hold him
Joe hold on tight and never let go
Hold your position, just hold your position
Hold your position a ya, just hold your position
Wah dat, hold your position
I say hold your position settle hold your position John
Hold you position Aunty, hold your position
Say hold your position go on
Hold your position, tell them rhythm so crucial
Rhythm so nice like sugar, like a spice
Cause when we a come a dance give you rough, nough, choice
A youth like me should a drive Rolls Royce
Sugar my tea baby, you're irie thought the two of us
Will go to bed cosy
Just a hold me position, hold me position

On The Outside

I may appear to be fit and strong
but that impression is completely wrong.
My grip on life is becoming less each day
and I can’t hold things in the normal way.

If I need to pee I have to go straight a way
where once I could hold it for hours each day.
I also cannot concentrate like I used to do
and a thought only lasts for a moment or two.

I once held dear the memories of my childhood days,
but now I can’t even remember what I was about to say.
At one time I could hold my breath for a very long time,
now I’d be lucky if I could hold it for a count of nine.

There’s another thing I can’t hold my alcohol like I used to do,
what I don’t spill goes to my head, or straight down the loo.
But I have found something I can hold for twice as long,
besides the obvious, it’s the new found ability to hold my tongue.

Anniversary

It reminded me off years of marriage
Life passed easily on simple carriage
Happy days with joy and I could manage
Nothing went wrong with time and passage

Bad days and cruel luck would have it
Lamp went off suddenly and could not be lit
Fate severely struck with perfect hit
He was taken away within a minute

I was dumbfounded and could not cry
Asked repeatedly for what crime and why?
Was there no alternative to spare him on earth?
Did not you think what will be condition aftermath?

I have witnessed many marriage anniversaries
all gave me enough joy and no worries
this only one incidence has saddened me so much
Great vacuum created in life and not easy to fill as such

It has left me in shock and completely paralyzed
Situation is so delicate and can't be analyzed
It has left deep scare on my shrinking mind
Unable to think positively and new alternatives to find

Every year you will come and take me off
I may not cry but can not hold the bluff
Will it be great tribute if I hold your memory fast?
It will remain with life till I breathe it last

I shall nobly act as you had desired
you teased always and got my work admired
who knew you will leave me alone to expire?
Your work may lead and thoughts to aspire

I shall continue to hold your spirit and strive
your ideas will remain alive and live and I shall revive
I shall make it livelier than life
I shall prove it to be honest as dedicated wife

Every year it will bring new lease of life and message
I will have to hold it fast to make smooth passage
No matter hold old I become with time and age
You memory will be fine print on the page

Life is simple mission to carry on
on real ground no battle is lost or won
It has to be taken as holy task
No pretence to be shown by wearing mask

It must not be go or no go situation
Life should be updated with evaluation
it demands sacrifice for any revolution
Power not in one hand but with complete devolution

It is not easy to forget happy moments
they were die hard and lovely movements
we may take it as reality of on going struggle
Life may end any time as water with bubble

I Got To Get A Message To You

The preacher talked with me and he smiled
Said, Come and walk with me
Come and walk one more mile
Now for once in your life you're alone
But you ain't got a dime
There's no time for the phone
I've just gotta get a message to you
Hold on, hold on
One more hour and my life will be through
Hold on, hold on
I told him I'm in no hurry
But if I broke her heart
Then won't you tell her I'm sorry
And for once in my life I'm alone
And I've gotta let her know
just in time before I go
I've just gotta get a message to you
Hold on, hold on
One more hour and my life will be through
Hold on, hold on
Well I laughed but that didn't hurt
And it's only her love
That keeps me wearing this dirt
Now I'm crying but deep down inside
Well I did it to him
Now it's my turn to die
I've just gotta get a message to you
Hold on, hold on
One more hour and my life will be through
Hold on, hold on
I've just gotta get a message to you
Hold on, hold on
One more hour and my life will be through
Hold on, hold on

Chickenman

I am an only child
Born of the wild
Riddled to spend my time
Defending my land
You are the only one
Born in the sun
Riddled to spend your time
Defending my plan
Dead dog on the highway
Median cats are growling at me
I turn my lights on brighter
Im counting through the night ride
And its one more life for the taker
Chickenman chickenman
One more song for the maker
Chickenman chickenman
On the road to athens
I saw a dead deer on the highway
I slipped into a desert
Five prairie dogs and a rabbit
I was running down on queen street
I saw a woman on the sidewalk
(danger danger)
She was beaten by a stranger
(danger danger danger danger)
Danger danger danger
And its one more life for the taker
Chickenman chickenman
Chickenman hold my hand
One more song for the maker
Hold my hand
Chickenman
I was on the road to austin
Met a man on the highway
He sold me junk and conversation
He was wise and dirty from the weather
I said darkness into darkness
All the carnage of my journeys
Makes it harder to be living
He said its a long road to be forgiven
One more life for the taker
Chickenman chickenman
Chickenman hold my had
One more song for the maker
Chickenman chickenman
Chickenman hold my hand
I am an only child
Born of the wild
Riddled to spend my time
Defending my land
You are the only one
Born in the sun
Riddled to spend your time
Defending my plan
I went looking for a car
Found myself beneath the stars
I went looking for a girl
Found a man and his world
Chickenman chickenman
(I went looking for a car)
Chickenman hold my hand
(found myself beneath the stars)
Chickenman chickenman
(I went looking for a girl)
Chickenman hold my hand
(found a man and his world)
I am an only child
(chickenman chickenman)
(chickenman hold my hand)
Hold my hand
(chickenman chickenman)
(chickenman hold my hand)
I am an only child
(chickenman chickenman)
(chickenman hold my hand)
Hold my hand
(chickenman chickenman)
(chickenman hold my hand)
Chickenman chickenman
Chickenman hold my hand
Chickenman chickenman
Chickenman hold my hand
Chickenman chickenman
Chickenman hold my hand

Love Has A Hold On Me

I have found a perfect mystery
Love has a hold on me
Long before my life had come to be
Love had a hold on me
Love has a hold on me
Where do I come from
Where does life mean
Is it not to know the one who made me
As Im looking down the road ahead
Love has a hold on me
Someday when I breathe my dying breath
Love has a hold on me
Love has a hold on me
Where will I go
When this life is through
Back into the light that made me and you
Love has a hold on me
Something opened up my eyes to see
Love has a hold on me
Love has a hold on me
I dont have answers to all the questions
Running inside of my mind
But I cant help believe that
Understanding comes in time
Love has a hold on me
Something opened up my eyes to see
Love has a hold on me
Love has a hold on me
If I run, if I hide, I know inside
Your love has a hold on me
Tell me yes, tell me no, my heart will follow
Your love has a hold on me
If I run, if I hide
Your love has a hold on me
Your love has a hold on me
Your love has a hold on me
Hold on me

A hand of friendship

Take the hand i am holding on to you
It is the hand of friendship and love

A hand that will give you support
To bear to endure and to be firm

In life's vicious circle that we live
It is the hand of a friend

Which will give you strength
A firm grip ensuring security

It is the hand of love and concern
Hold it tightly to be affirm

Life is good life is hope
Life is what you cope

With courage strength and a smile

With hand in hand hand in love

Hold it tight hold it firm
With the belief thats for sure

God is with us as never before

Cock Of Nothing

Hold me up, I cannot stand
I am nothing, Im your man
You have ? ? , I know you chant
I will know that Im your man
Hold me up, Ill hold you down
And youll be thankful you have found a man
Like me
If Im bad, youll smack my hand
Little baby, little man
Forty pounder in the sand
Cock of nothing, Im your man
Hold me up, Ill hold you down
And youll be thankful you have found a man
Like me
Oh no, here I go
See, I cant connect if I cant control
And I (oh no) see, I cant release if I cant let go
And I cant let you go, whoa
Hold me up, Ill hold you down
And youll be thankful you have found a man
Like me
Like me
Like me

Sister, Please Hold My Hand

Sister, please hold my hand
As we journey through this land
Together we stand, together we will fall
No matter what, God will keep us together
That will be the best of all

Sister, please hold my hand
Because without you I can't stand
For we were put on this earth for a reason
To go through every good and bad season

Sister, please hold my hand
As our strength, together, builds each other to become strong
So that our love for each other will last long

Only Worse

On one hand I count the reasons I could stay with you
And hold you close to me, all night long.
So many lover's games I could play with you
and on that hand I see no reason why it's wrong
Chorus:
But on the other hand, There's a golden band
To remind of someone who would not understand
On one hand I could stay and be your loving man
But the reason I must go is on the other hand
In your arms I feel the passion, I thought had died
When I looked into your eyes
I found myself
When I first kissed your lips I felt so alive
I've got to hand it to you girl, you're something else
Repeat Chorus

You Wont Be There

(lead vocal - dave townsend)
Show me a promised land and I will go anywhere
And if you ask me to take my time Ill wait for years
Ill hold on though the whole world tells me Im wrong
Someday, someday
But it seems so long
Ask me to prove my love and I will do anything
So if they turn off the light of the sun why should I care
Ill hold on thought the whole world tells me Im wrong
Then in the morning as you leave me
You touch my hand to show how much you care
But just when I need you
You wont be there
Ill hold on but I need a shoulder to lean on
Why if you love me must you leave me
Why are you going anywhere
Why must our love be something in the air
Cause just when I need you
You wont be there
You wont be there

All I Ask

Stumbling down a road lined with signs
It's obvious I'm in the wrong direction
But I won't stop now you know I feel fine
Just looking for some affection
And all I ask is to be able to hold on longer
And all I ask is to be able to walk on water
Walk on water
I figure it won't be long it won't be hard
Just gotta get my feet back on the ground
Just gotten a hold of some unlucky cards
And I have yet to make another round
And all I ask is to be able to hold on longer
And all I ask is to be able to walk on water
Walk on water
No one lent a hand, no one laid a look upon me
Invisible to everything but blame
No, and no one cared to tell, no one dared to believe in anything
And left me to drown in this pain
And all I ask is to be able to hold on longer
And all I ask is to be able to walk on water
Walk on water

Dangerous

It's been a long time in the makin'
We always knew that we could reach this place
Sometimes it's hard to find a reason to run
We'll still be standin' at the end of the race
Nobody said it would be easy
Sometimes it's hard to keep your dreams alive
It's so close we can taste it, counting the nights
With my eyes wide open, for the power drive
We will rock, we won't stop, better get ready, cause ready or not
So hold on, to what we got, hold on
Chorus:
Burn down to the ground, we got a volatile situation
We're gonna rock tonight, we're gonna get it right
'Cause it couldn't be better
Burn down to the ground, we're gonna violate our probation
We're gonna rock tonight, we're gonna get it right
Cause it couldn't be better, it couldn't be better
It can't get much better than this
Oh no, it can't get much better
Oh no, it can't get much better than this
Why don't you meet me after midnight
We're gonna ride that electric high
It's now or never, and the time is right
Turn up the power, we'll split the sky tonight
We will rock, we won't stop
Better get ready, cause ready or not
So hold on, to what we got, hold on
chorus
Oh no, it can't get much better, oh no, it can't get much better
(Solo)
chorus
Oh no, it can't get much better, oh no, it can't get much better
Oh no, it can't get much better, oh no, it can't get much better than this
