All eyes

Our eyes are all up towards sky
We are asking the rain God, Why?
Not a dropp of rain in our region?
Why has he got different opinion?

Why not rain evenly on whole globe?
What are you having in mind to probe?
Have we erred somewhere to invite your wrath?
Our precious animals are facing the death

There is no dropp of water in soil
Everything stands to disappear or to spoil
What are we going to face as consequences?
Will it be drought or long spell of bad sequences?

We have nothing to offer except prayers
We have sought the help from sooth Sayers
The sun is blazing with hot rays
It is proving as very difficult ways

We have no more options left
You offer it to us in form of gift
We have always looked towards you
It has been always helpful and true

Thousands may perish in quest
We have tried our level best
It may prove as suicidal test
What can we see in the rest?

The vultures may have field day
The bodies may be scattered on the way
It will be horrified and never witnessed scene
We are praying for happy days and very keen

It has become very much uncertain
More fear and less security it contains
Our life is in danger and concerns remain
For ponds and river there is nothing to retain

The horror scenes may emerge
We may not be able to mange
Bring an end to draughts and disasters
You are the only one God and our master

Rain from Heaven

rain rain rain rain
the murmer of rain
the sweet song of rain
the wind along with rain
the nostalgic feeling of rain
which can be enjoyed with a sad song
now its raining! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
the dropp that fallen in my face
let it be the last dropp before I die
and let that dropp clean all my guilt
so that my soul will not see hell
then you might hear my sound
along with the next rain; Says
'the rain on that day was from heaven'

Rain Drop

A dropp of rain
cloud sends rain to earth
when it reaches soil
it makes fragrance
no other person in the world will not make
such kind of fragrance
it means the happiness of the soil and rain drop
rain dropp ends its life
but
it makes us happy

Almost burnt to death

It almost burnt us to death
We were unable to take breath
Children cried to escape sun’s fury
The rays were falling steep causing injury

It caused heavy sun strokes
It passed all previous records and broke
They say it was centuries highest
They were afraid as if complete man kind stood to test

There was no sign of immediate respite
The evenings were pleasant despite
The day was making hell and it was let loose
We had no other option but to remain inside and choose

Why Sun god was so furious on mankind
Why his third eye was oozing so much heat and not very kind
Not bird could fly and go out for good
It was indication of displeasure and that was not at all good

It may take many more days to spread the cool
Were we not cutting our own feet and making fool?
Are we totally blaming free not to invite such wrath?
Why nature is pushing us cruelly to near death?

We have cut many trees and uprooted forests
They were natural habitat for animals and considered best
The birds too have lost the race to breed in nests
It is really a forgone conclusions and real test

It may play havoc and many lives will be lost
This is just beginning and it may heavily cost
The burning sun may bring complete life to a standstill
Everything will be on flame and we may have no water to fill

All ponds and reservoirs may dry and pose the challenge
It will then be catastrophe and may not remain in our hands to mange
It will be witnessed as worst possible annihilation just less of carnage
Bodies may not find place to float even in drainage

It is worst scenario that is yet to be witnessed later
If rain God displeases altogether fails us to cater
It is matter of great concern and can’t be left for another date
We are already passing through delicate phase and are very late

Let us please the nature in best possible way
Let us not uproot anything and make it stay
No blocking of natural flow of river
Growing of trees in large scale forever

We have enough time to address and come out with the scheme
You need to synchronize with natural resources and its theme
Not to deplete natural sources in disastrous manner
It may prove as deadly blow as if pushed in belly with spanner

Effects!

The rain returns after a long holiday,
From the terrains where the greens stay,
A cooling breeze touches the hot skin,
The consummation of water and loam,
Emanate the smell of the soil and the soul,
Congested noses cleared, farmers thrilled,
Emptied brooks are bare and naked,
Frogs with tired legs not started to croak,
The thirsty coconut trees still have young,
On the banks of river, where their roots hung,
The villagers are out on the red soil path,
Looking at one another with gleeful thought,
dropp by dropp the rain showers their heart,
To fill the catchment and then run to dissolve the dirt,
To wipe the tears of our hungry farmers,
The rain of water spray on their face,
As the wind hugs the wind,
The fire calms down the inferno.

Rain

heaven's jewels
dropp from the sky
in so many ways
i love the slanted crystals
lightened by dusklight
that fell onto the
wooden planks
of childhood abode
dropp by dropp
they painted a glittering scene
of childhood years
the saddest is the morn rain
so slow, so persistent
the rain danced over
the school field
to the rhythm of the wind
my brain trapped
in slumberland
lost in the imagination
of secret love
noon rain
after the heat
sent the warm scent of
blooms, grasses
that heightened
the new founded libido
the warmth of your love
and longed for virgin hug

Early warning

Are you not frightened by looking at this picture?
This is not for today but indication for coming future
Have we not deceived our mother earth and brought havoc?
Natural wealth is fast depleting and running out of stock

Tress can show displeasure by looking barren
Ponds can show it by going dry even
But it is very difficult to guess mentality of human being
What a level to lower and disasters to bring?

Nature gives an early warning for any of the consequences
Volcano may make its intent known as it is not by chance
Cyclone sends early warning with prior arrival rain and storms
Human mind acts with connivance and doesn’t even warn

We are facing natural wrath as cycle has completely changed
Sea level is rising fast with alarm and becomes mismanaged
River waters bring untold sufferings and add to the woes
This is how our misery is multiplying and goes

We face the world with two way deception
On one side we make drive for forestation
And on the other side allow for deforestation
Eco balance is thus disturbed and making way for destruction

Green forest land is set on fire
Human greed has expanded to acquire
All forest land for cultivation and use
Leaving behind suicidal notes for us to choose

Time is yet within our hands
We must think fresh change our trend
Nature must be preserved at any cost
Else everything on earth may be lost

The Water Drop

The miraculous water drop
Falling from the sky,
The romantic rain dropp
Dancing proudly on
The lower lip of a maiden,
The Divine water drop
As an elixir to the thirsty throat;
The dainty dropp for a hungry stomach;
The charming dew drop,
Shining on the morning leaves;
The kind water drop
Flowing into the fields,
The friendly tear drop
To soothe the wounded heart;
The holy dropp that washes our sins;
The Master water dropp
At the moral to tune stable
To the ups and downs of life
And for selfless service
To the co-species on the earth;
And lo, the Wild water drop
To flood and drought us
At our absurd misuse!

Save Water Save Life

'Water, water' asked soldier to another soldier
He was wounded and dying for the dropp of water
Shells were fired from all the direction
He was to be rescued first as humble action

Thank god the soldier was saved for timely action
We could see the happiness on his face as sweet reaction
He should have been no more on the battle field
Had he not been given dropp of water for ground held

Water is precious commodity now a day
We have not found any alternate way
Glaciers are melting and flooding the rivers
The sea level is increased by flooding of water

There is alarming situation in many parts
Either people vacate the areas and depart
Or stick to the areas and face the devastation
As they have stayed for ages in same station

Water harvesting is best solution for problem
In many cities water has been rationed to ward of trouble
Can you imagine costal areas suffer most?
To protect and provide water for big cities involve big cost

Yes precious lives are to be provided
With water and wastage is to be avoided
Not a dropp of water should go into drain
As we are mainly dependant on rain

Entire existence of human race is in jeopardy
We may have no other option then to pray only almighty
All sources might have then stand dried away or
Water might have been polluted in alarming way

Save water and save the race any where
Educate the people not to waste water and dare
As it may take their lives and put to more difficulties
Water may then be never had even if increased the capabilities

The sources are fast drying out
Some times there is excess and sometimes drought
Life battle is to be taken care of and fought
So the slogan 'save water, save life' is sought

When Will It Rain

No one ever sees you cry
You just keep it all inside
In a warm place, where you can hide
When will it rain
When will it rain
I saw you laugh the other day
But all too fast it went away
Now your skys cloudy n gray
Falling mainly on the plain
When will it rain
When will it rain
No water fallls
Down your window pane
And when I look into your eyes
That window to your soul cant lie
Theres water where the well went dry
So how long can there be a drought
When your dams filled with doubt
No place to build your house
Let your cup runneth over and out
I said for crying out loud
When will it rain
When will it rain
No water fallls
Down your window pane
When will it rain
When will it rain
A tear for fear is calling out your name
Rain on me

Rain Rain Rain

Rain, Rain, Rain, come again and again,
In the winter, in the summer and in spring,
Come with joy, fall with happiness and go with sorrow,
Rain, Rain, Rain come again and again.

Rain, Rain, Rain come to relive earth's pain,
Rain, Rain, Rain come to make nature happy,
Rain, Rain, Rain come to make livings happy,
Rain, Rain, Rain come again and again.

Rain, Rain, Rain don't go away,
Rain, Rain, Rain i hope you will stay,
Rain, Rain, Rain come again and again.

A Summer's Rain

I am not afraid to say
That I love a summer's rain
To listen to the pitter-patter of rain drops
Splash lightly upon the window panes

I love to gaze out at the falling rain
To see the plants and flowers sparkle in the misty haze
That covers the water coloured scene before me
Each dropp of water shimmering where it lay

I love to see the sun during a summer's rain
Its glistening beams spreading out far and wide
Creating a prism of wonderful colours
To form a beautiful rainbow across the sky

I love the smell after a summer's rain
When everything in sight is wash'd anew
The world seeming a little brighter now
That the summer rain is through

Stand in The Rain

She stands bellow the tree,
As she looks out towards the sea.

Her eyes see the blue, yet her mind is lost,
It has left her on it's journey remembering what it lost.

The breeze blows though her dark crimson hair,
And still she does not blink, she only stares.

She stares though nothing only seeing pain,
The pain that has left her standing in the rain.

The rain falls around her on the sea,
Yet still she stands under the tree,

It will not leave her, it will not go,
What she has seen will never go,

She will always remain alone,
She remains in the wind as it moans,

She feels movement of the air,
Yet she does not hear it, she does not fear,

Se fears not the storm, only the pain,
She stands by the side of the sea, stands in the rain.

She stands here, still,
As the pain begons to kill.

She stands and looks past her heart through the pain,
As she stands in the rain.

Acid Test

Are we not becoming intolerant society?
Gruesome murders, riots stabbing –all in different varieties?
May be it has become part of our life and necessities
Everybody wants to capitalize and understands its futility

On the name of religion, we simply kill each other
Humanity on run and no one takes care or bother
Shame, hatred curse all have taken front seat
No regrets on face – see face to face and sit

What makes it so difficult to meet each other?
Have we gone berserk and unnecessarily differ
Have we nothing new to see and offer?
Why unpleasant things in life to utter?

We may not find answer to this or solution
We have no means to for evaluation
Morality is no where and has lost the ground
Near is near miss and no whereto be found

We can’t tolerate the well being of others
Frustration and worries all that bothers us
We don’t find ways to satisfy ourselves
We talk different and abnormally behave

Thousands are killed in day light scene
Flash with bodies scattered and all over seen
May be we still don’t need peace or respite
Nature has turned blind eye on us to ignite

Have we gone crazy over the issues?
Does humanity demand no dues?
Are we in state of shock and despair?
Can we not build trust or repair?

Will this not stop in days to come?
Will our efforts fail and or are not welcome?
Do we need complete annihilation from surface?
Is it right path or we call it mad race?

With so much bitterness, kill or get killed
Traitors and terrorists get rejoice and thrilled
Innocents and passers by face the wrath
Meet with ugly fate in the form of death

Is ethnic cleansing only way out?
Is it not the challenge and we face the rout?
What is all this nonsense and war talk about?
Why do we face unseasonal rain and drought?

Are we not wholly to be blamed?
Bloodbath in the name of peace claimed
Still many more lives may be lost
No solution in sight despite staggering cost

Take it for granted humanity may survive
Existence with harmony and peace may revive
It may incur losses with constant unrest
Time is essence but powerful acid test

We may love to live to endure
All best efforts to strengthen and secure
Make it worthy as our best future
Our future generation may have happy tenure

My Firm Belief

This is the world of loss and gain
Where God let nothing to go in vain
Even a water dropp that we get in rain
Helps us in moments of suffering and pain

When troubles come it makes us gray
And everything feels wrong in the way
And we don't find next stone to lay
And think that God has pushed us away

But this is neither true nor it is right
Because for us God emits bliss light
And show us nice things that are bright
For his ways are always unique and quiet

So if we feel we are stuck in a test
Where we are not given any rest
Then thing that at time seems best
is to go to God and pray with zest

Because this is surely my firm belief
That God who is our creator and chief
Will cease our pain and will give us relief
And will remove from us our distress and grief

Because this is the world of loss and gain
Where God let nothing to go in vain
Even a water dropp that we get in rain
Helps us in moments of sufferings and pain

The Thunder Cracks In The Gray Sky

The thunder cracks in the gray sky and the rain it is bucketing down
Above the high and dry and bare paddocks by the river that flows by the town
On those paddocks that need heaps of rain it has been awhile since they were green
This countryside is looking dry 'tis as dry as it ever has been
His feathers soaked wet from the rain the magpie flutes on the blackwood tree
From it's drenched leaves the rain drips and drips by the river that flows to the sea
To the river adown the bare hill the water in rivulets run
As soon as the rain will have stopped they will quickly dry out in the sun
The Summer has been warm and dry and the long range weather forecast is for a dry Fall
An hour of heavy thunder rain of little use though better than nothing at all
For months the farmers have been praying for rain their prayers in part answered today
But the sun shines across the brown hills and the rain clouds are clearing away
And the magpie shakes his feathers dry and no rain drops left to drip from the trees
And white butterflies flitting about in the sunshine and feshening breeze.

When will thy come to wash my pain?
Rain oh Rain
I have been in tears all day
Rain oh Rain
Please do not go far away
Rain oh Rain
Release thy fresh water upon me
Rain oh Rain
Melt the ice and make me chill
Rain oh Rain
Wet the earth and make it plant bloom
Rain oh Rain
Let thy freshness embrace the earth
Rain oh Rain
Make me happy and filled with joy

For thy presence i wait.

Rain Rain Rain

(ferry)
You better take whats left
cause im feeling rough
In dread of the night getting high
And name on the dress
Stretch far too long
But it pleases the mind
And thats nice
Rain rain rain
She put her head on the line
When she come strong
A single girl about town
And she stands or fall
By the way she moves
Ahead of her time
She cant lose
Rain rain rain
You got trouble in mind
Gets deep n worse
Oh please dont stop getting high
You got lust for life
It dont seem to die
Gonna last for ever
Getting high
Rain rain rain

Rain,rain

Why am I here if youre there
So far away its not fair
To be without you like this
I miss you more than you know
The nights are long
The days slow
Without the warmth of your kiss
Wish you were back here with me
Cause out my window
All is see is
Rain , rain in the sky
Everywhere I look my eyes see
Rain , rain fallin down
Crying as it hits the ground
Rain , rain in my heart
Every day that were apart
Rain , rain
Falling rain , rain
Rain , rain
Only rain , rain
The sun is strong when youre near
But when youre gone it disappears
Behind an ocean of blue
The telephones not good enough
It cant reach out it cant touch
Me like the way you do
Wish you would knock at my door
Cause only you can stop the pouring
Rain , rain in the sky
Everywhere I look my eyes see
Rain , rain fallin down
Crying as it hits the ground
Rain , rain in my heart
Every day that were apart
Rain , rain
Falling rain , rain
Rain , rain
Only rain , rain
Maybe ill go outside
And walk beneath the clouds
Pretend its you thats watching over me
This isnt the only thing that comes
Between us now
Baby soon well be together
Oooo
( everywhere I look I see rain )
( everywhere I look I see rain )
Rain
( everywhere I look I see rain )
Everywhere I look I see rain
( everywhere I look I see rain )
Rain
( everywhere I look I see rain )
Rain
( rain , rain in the sky )
( everywhere I look my eyes see rain )
Rain
( rain falling down )
Down
( crying as it hits the ground )
Dont , dont let it hit the ground
( rain , rain in my heart everyday that were apart )
( rain , rain )
Rain
( falling rain, rain )
Rain
( rain, rain )
Everywhere I look I see rain
Everywhere I look I see rain
But I dont see you
Youre not near me
I need you ooo
Rain
Itll never be the same
If you dont stop the rain

rain on every plant that grow o' dear rain
rain on every resource o' dear rain
rain to green the plants
the plants that of nature's decor
rain on us and never let go
quench my thirst; to get so
rain on me o' rain rain rain

rain for happiness and leisure
rain for our children to play
rain on the soil for us this day
so, we plant more food to feed us this way
go to the fields and gardens; same way

Prayer for friend

As the cruel hands approached,
pushed hard to take life and touched,
No more could do the would be wife,
the life hung in balance to the edge of knife,

I would not be accessible for some,
some more days or weeks to come,
Pray for my beloved who is under care, ,
yet he to enter but don’t know when and where?

What more I ask form HIM?
Spare him for rest of my life,
I ask not but make simple pray
life is to be lived by any other way,

Moved her words so deep in mind,
Blood ran high but could not find.
What else more can be done,
prayer to God and prayers alone,

Add my days and years
Prayed earnestly in his ears,
I have lived the best,
he is still under test,

Miracle happen as prayer do play,
after all, we have to perish in clay,
but not before the destined time,
Pardon the sin and committed crime,

’More good news’ as I learnt in few days,
recovering fast in many ways,
happy days back and life will be fast,
Prayer worked first and not at the last,

Smiling days are back again,
Heat waves gone after heavy rain,
dark clouds disappear and sky look plain,
Happiness and gloom are part of the chain
