A slip to sleep
I go in to sleep to meet sure shot death
It is nothing but belief and faith
I have always lived in fear with
When I woke up find the closed teeth
It is unusual to believe in mythological truth
We live in fool’s paradise for feeling to soothe
Nothing helps in turn other than to create bogey
Mind is arrested and thoughts don’t emanate free
Ho many deaths you have to go through in life span
Is it like floating on life pond like white swan?
Do we go deep in water and not coming back again?
What do we do to come in life and regain?
It is absolutely painless odyssey
No one can offer any logic or alibi
It is happening daily and almost certain
I develop no amusement or pain
There is o escape from sleep to slip
It is successful onward trip
We sit on throne as powerful king
All courtesans offer the dance and sing
It is another world with all the comforts
All thoughts of day rush from mind and report
You perform there as super hero
Though you are worth nothing but zero
It is better to die once
There won’t be any pain or worry hence
You die thousand times a day
The sleep is only easy way
It is almost impossible to live at ease
It is stagnated and no fresh energy to release
I am not at happy and pleased
I wake in sleep and life seems to be ceased
It is tortuous and full of agony
I don’t know but it may be suffered by many
It may unwant call to decide at this stage
Still it is difficult to stand alone and manage
Let it be probed fully to help us later
It has to come sooner or later
Whether it is in day time or in sleep
It definitely gives us good slip
Let us escape this confusion and stay clean
We have many ways and means
It can keep us away from worry and tension
It is not worth here for all the time to mention
The death certain and bound to take place
It is to be realized and can be read on face
it should not engulf our mind or lay a seize
Life may come to stand still any time and cease
Give a nice slip to sleep
Smile always and good health to keep
Good bye to mythology or any theory
Keep it way if it causes worry

Dedicated to ppl who dont sleep
Sleep, sleep, sleep
It’s magnificent and nice,
With dreams beyond wonder,
Sleep! sleep! sleep!
Sleep, sleep, sleep
Eyes tightly closed,
A little smile on you r cheeks,
Feeling the ambiance
Of the pure and precious sleep,
Sleep! sleep! sleep!
Sleep, sleep, sleep
Forgetting insane things of the mixed world outside
Relax my dear, feel the gentle breeze,

My Life - Billy Joel
Vs.1 Got a call from an old friend,
We used to be real close.
Said he couldn't go on the American way.
Closed the shop, sold the house,
Bought a ticket to the West Coast,
Now he gives them a stand-up routine in L.A.
(chorus)
I don't need you to worry for me cause I'm alright.
I don't want you to tell me it's time to come home.
I don't care what you say anymore, this is my life.
Go ahead with your own life and leave me alone.
Vs.2 I never said you had to offer me a second chance,
I never said I was a victim of circumstance.
I still belong, don't get me wrong.
And you can speak you mind,
But not on my time.
They will tell you you can't sleep alone
In a strange place.
Then they'll tell you you can't sleep
With somebody else.
Ah, but sooner or later you sleep
In your own space.
Either way it's okay,
You wake up with yourself.
(chorus)
I don't need you to worry for me cause I'm alright.
I don't want you to tell me it's time to come home.
I don't care what you say anymore, this is my life.
Go ahead with your own life and leave me alone.
I never said you had to offer me a second chance.
I never said I was a victim of circumstance.
I still belong, don't get me wrong.
And you can speak you mind,
But not on my time.
I don't care what you say anymore, this is my life.
Go ahead with your own life and leave me alone!

Sleep No Man Desires
There is a sleep no man desires
There is something about that sleep
That sends fear down the hearts of men
That world unknown yet revered by fear
That surrounds a man when he goes to sleep
It is the sleep of the tired women
It is the sleep of the defeated elands
It is the sleep that makes the hyenas laugh
It is the sleep that feeds the vultures
It is the sleep that no man loves
But is the eventual sleep for all that breaths
It is the sleep of paradise
A paradise so desired for good deeds on earth
Yet it is the sleep that hounds the aged and the poor
A sleep that embraces the dying
A sleep that knows no class
It is the silent sleep on angels' chariots
Take a pillow and courage to slip into it
Courage, be brave and face that sleep
That sleep that frightens the mighty
That sleep that is wild on eart
That sleep that has no path
That is hated and more than loathed
A sleep that captured great men of history
It is the sleep of the GONE.

Dreaming While You Sleep
In and out of darkness, in and out of sleep
Trying to keep my hands upon the wheel.
Never saw the corner in the driving rain.
I never saw her step into the street.
Dreaming while you sleep
Dreaming while you sleep
Memories to keep
Dreaming while you sleep
I can never understand what went thru my mind
I didnt stop to see what I had done.
Had to keep on driving deep into the night
The miles between would somehow put it right
Dreaming while you sleep
Dreaming while you sleep
Memories to keep
Dreaming while you sleep
All my life you lie silently there
All my life in a world so unfair
All my life and only Ill know why
And it will live inside of me,
I will never be free all my life,
Trapped in her memory all my life
Till the day that you open your eyes,
Please open your eyes
Dreaming while you sleep
Dreaming while you sleep
Heard it on the radio, saw it on tv,
But could I take my secret to the grave.
If I had another chance, would I do the same.
Would I still deny that it was me.
Dreaming while you sleep
Dreaming while you sleep
Dreaming while you sleep,
Are you dreaming while you sleep?
All my life Ill be haunted by
All my life just one moment in time
All my life until the day I die
And it will live inside of me
Oh I will never be free all my life
Trapped in her memory all my life
Till the day that you open your eyes
All of my life - you lie silently there
All my life - in a world so unfair
All my life - and only I know why
And it will live inside of me
I will never be free all my life
Trapped in her memory - all my life
Till the day that you open your eyes.
All of my life.
Just one moment of time, all my life.

Can't Sleep
I find myself yawning again and again,
But I can't sleep, which is a real pain.
I lie on my left side, then on my right,
But, for me, there is no sleep in sight.
Next, I turn and lie flat on my back,
But, of any sleep, there is still a lack.
I lie there, looking up at the ceiling:
Pretty drained, is how I am feeling.
I wish my system would just slow down,
But, through my mind, thoughts race round.
Feeling restless, I begin to huff and puff:
I know that, in the morning, I'll feel rough.
As a poet, my mind is still really busy rhyming,
But, when I'm trying to sleep, isn't great timing.
To try and get some sleep, I really endeavour,
But the night seems to go on forever and ever.
I am really willing my mind to take a rest,
But, night time is when my mind thinks best.
Over my sleeping patterns, I have no control:
On me, tomorrow, lack of sleep will take its toll.
As I snuggle myself down, under the covers,
My body wants one thing; my mind, another.
When lying in bed, I just want some peace:
I want all of this rhyming, for once, to cease.

Let The Night Sleep
Let the night sleep
Sleep for ever deep
With the night I sleep
Beyond the world to peep
Universe will sleep
Plants and trees
Birds and bees
Stars and moon
To sleep very soon!
Fruits and flowers
Joy with showers
Will sleep with me and the night
Not to keep the life very tight!
No dawn of the day
Right upto the dooms day!
Sleep permanent
In the world impermanent
I'll sleep without light
My agonies will sleep
My worries will sleep
My pains will sleep
My sins will sleep!
While in sleep
I am pure
I am peace
I am noble!
While my body is asleep
Awake my soul I keep
Sleep akin to death
Death akin to sleep in mirth?
Let the night sleep
Sleep for ever deep
With night I sleep
Sleep to eternity
Soul to merge in Divinity!

The Sad Mother
Sleep, sleep, my beloved,
without worry, without fear,
although my soul does not sleep,
although I do not rest.
Sleep, sleep, and in the night
may your whispers be softer
than a leaf of grass,
or the silken fleece of lambs.
May my flesh slumber in you,
my worry, my trembling.
In you, may my eyes close
and my heart sleep.

Veil of Death
Death for believers is but a veil, for through Christ we will prevail,
For we may die upon this earth, but live the promise of new birth.
After this life and much travail, we slip through a mysterious veil,
Into the presence of God’s Throne, through no efforts of our own.
For a brief moment we may sleep, but as we awake we will reap,
Reap from God an Eternal Life, and all due to the work of Christ.
When we sleep in Christ we wake; because He died for our sake.
Though Christ died now He lives, and Eternal Life to us He gives.
Death although it may come, has been swallowed up by The Son,
Through His victory on the cross, where Christ died for all the lost.
Now not only have we been found, but in Him new life will abound,
A life that starts upon this earth, when we experience a New Birth.
Life may begin here my friend, but a new life in Christ has no end,
As we enter what seems as death, we breathe in Heaven’s breath.
We’ll leave behind all that’s frail, as we briefly slip through the veil,
As we enter into God’s Paradise, to live forever with Jesus Christ.
We’ll leave the bodies that have died, and get new bodies glorified,
We will live an eternity with Him, in God’s Paradise that has no sin,
This could be the reason why; precious is the death, in God’s eyes,
Of all the saints He calls His own, as they enter their Eternal Home.

I may miss her
It left a deep scar on mind
I was in pain to feel and find
The naked truth about reality
The very much essence of life and quality
In young age if someone deserts
It does have little effect of flirts
You are not matured enough to feel pulse
You always want new and something else
I was pushed in corner at sudden departure
She was no more with me to endure
All my pains and agony to be shared
We both had challenged and dared
I would ask her jokingly about death
“Who will lay the floral wreath?
What would you do in such situation?
She would feel pain urge for discontinuation
No one is immune from death or immortal
It may be natural, simple one or fatal
This fact is known to all and almost dreaded
Any advice in this regard is silently heeded
It was ample proof of our happy stay
She was in good state of health and never went away
Not a day would have passed that she not beside
I felt so much elated to find her on my side
It was pleasant to say good bye daily
It was done in a good faith to find her happily
She would glance at all the members of the family
I too would smile at her and acknowledge it gladly
I never thought end may come soon
I used to walk miles in the burning noon
With the only hope that I will have to rush
As I had seen her last in morning with brush
She will keep everything ready for next day
Ad I had forgetful nature all the way
It was her routine to make it doubly sure
I was careless about next day or future
Such happy days won’t be back again
She is not likely to come back and regain
As she was laid there motionless and dead
I could still see worry on her face and read
I felt as if she would speak something
Though she was nowhere to miss anything
I was left behind to take care of everything
She was heavenly abode for nothing
I know it is inevitable part
Every living thing has to depart
It is destiny and ruled for all
No one can escape divine call
I will not cry over her death
As I have full trust and faith
Even though she has left early
I may miss her very dearly

Work, Sleep, Work, Sleep, Work
Work, sleep, work, sleep,
Work, sleep, work, sleep,
Work, sleep, work, sleep,
Work:
Work, sleep, work, sleep,
Work, sleep, work, sleep,
Work, sleep, work, sleep,
Work.
Oh free me please with gentle ease
From work, sleep, work, sleep, work!
This odium, pounding tedium
Of my work, sleep, work, sleep, work.
Just whisk me off to lands afar
From work, sleep, work, sleep, work -
That grinding train of rhythmic pain
Called ‘Work, sleep, work, sleep, work.’
Poor neural circuits fizzle and pop
In work, sleep, work, sleep, work,
In trying to make some sense of all this
Work, sleep, work, sleep, work.
But Hark! I see a golden gleam -
A saving spirit of hope:
‘You’re fired! ’ He screams. What news to bear,
This wondrous hangman’s rope!
So now I’m free, released from all this
Work, sleep, work, sleep, work -
Eternal peace and rest for me, no
Work, sleep, work, sleep, work.

when i wake up this morning
sleep is still sleeping
and i slip out of the blanket
not to disturb sleep which
is still soundly snoring
last night we did not pretend
that we were two dead people
sleep was tightly curled upon itself
its arms were not around me
and i could not remember anymore
exactly
whatever happened
to me
or us
if there ever be
this morning
sleep is dead
and i survive
to meet another face of death
in the kitchen
and also in the rest room
and also outside the house
into the road and in the office
where i am working
there are so many faces of death
in my own world
and i am not the loyal subject of sleep
which is death's younger sister
neither am i a friend of death
nor its foe
for out of this everyday encounter
death becomes nothing
but another furniture in the hall
another rock in the garden
part of the numerous leaves in the air
one of those many ' its'
that does not
really disturb me anymore
tonight i will sleep with sleep again
(it is dead and unburied)
i do not name sleep for you
since i too does not know about its true details
or identity
its name its age
when it was born
though i know exactly when it really died
as i have already told you
and what totally is it exactly
the whole truth about its snores and sleep walks and talks
its secrets inside those thick blankets
for in truth in this journey
we sleep with sleep
most of the time
(do i hear ninety percent approving?)
we do not know much of it anyway
or frankly
much less
perhaps
at any rate
(and this may have bored you
to an ending that
bears no significance to your present work)
how can we be interested with such an ordinary matter
that occurs
every minute of the hour?
and what is it that is really worth
writing and
understanding in this world
that does not listen?
(do i hear 95% of you screaming?)

Now I lay me down to sleep
Now I lay me down to sleep.
Hopefully I will not wake.
I give my body and soul the lord to keep.
For it is my life I wish to take.
I cannot live in a land of fake.
There is no other way left.
Just the face of death.
Through the open door I must go.
I just cannot stay.
In to death I must sway.
Now my life I'm about to take.
No matter how hard it should be.
Now I lay me down to sleep.
In the morning light I shall not wake.
Now Im free once again.
My life I have now slain

Reasons
Living on the streets of nowhere
Nobody understands and nobody cares
Nobody Listens, so who can I tell my life is just a living hell
I'm going back and forth no one to turn to
Slowly losing my mind so what am I doin'
If you could only see the pain and hurt in my soul
But you don't understand me so how could you know
Sometimes it gets so bad I think I'm losing it
Can't get a hand out of life so I'm losing my grip
And when you lose your grip, then you begin to slip
Death is just waiting one to trip
Heading down the path to nowhere
No one can hear me, 'cause nobody's there
Life gets darker and there's no light at all
When the ways of this world just prepare me for the fall
What can I do, what can I say
I don't know love, only hate
What would you do if you were mep
I guess you'll never know
How would it feel to walk in my shoes
A victim of this world only used and abused
Trapped in a box with the walls coming down on me
Suffocated by my sin, it keeps drowning me
They say they know how I feel
Let's end it all, right now, that's how I feel
Don't have a care in the world, life means nothing
Don't look back, don't look back, just keep running
Run - Keep running
Run - Keep running
How long, o Lord?
Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
How long must I wrestle with my thoughts
And everyday have sorrow in my heart
How long will my enemy triumph over me?
Look on me and answer, o Lord my God
Give light to my eyes or I will sleep in death
My enemy, will say "I have overcome him"
And my foes rejoice when I fall
But I still believe in you Lord
And I know that you're real, you're so real Lord
Come and take me away from this place Lord
Everyday I will follow and seek your face Lord
But I trust in your unfailing love
My heart rejoices in your salvation
I will sing to you my Lord
For he has been, for he has been
Good to me
You're the one who rescued me
And you're the one who set me free
I kept on running, but there's nowhere to hide
You took me in with your arms open wide
You loved me first when no one else would
You died for me so I give my life to you
False hopes and lies
But you're the one who's next time I run
I'm running straight to you

Leave Me ~ New Edition
I know it comes as no suprise, that I....
am so in love with u
When I think of us two, I start feelin' blue
Somethin' that I gotten used to
But lately.. I must admit
Times have been been hard
Put a strain and pain on my heart
As much as it hurts to say these words
I think that it's best for u to
Leave me... Live ur life
Don't worry.. I will be alright
In no time.. u'll find someone
who's better than I
Go now.. don't u cry
I'll always.. be right by ur side
Maybe someday we'll get another try
Oh yeah...
It seems as tho.. Everytime I speak
Ur name.. I get weak
Cuz I imagine, before I go to sleep
That u are right here with me
Somebody told me, u can't appreciate..
What u got until... it is gone
But they were so wrong, cuz I have cherished u
It's just that I'm not the one... u, yeah...
Leave me... Live ur life
Don't worry.. I will be alright
In no time.. u'll find someone
who's better than I
Go now.. don't u cry
I'll always.. be right by ur side
Maybe someday we'll get another try
(Bridge)
Deep down inside
(Please hear me now)
You expect so much
(that's why i'm hurting inside)
And I don't even
(No.. not at all)
Feel appreciated for my efforts girl
(It feels like we've grown apart)
(And I dont know if we... could handle)
the trouble.......
(If not it's gonna hurt me to see u)
Leave me... Live ur life
Don't worry.. I will be alright
In no time.. u'll find someone
who's better than I
Go now.. don't u cry
I'll always.. be right by ur side
Maybe someday we'll get another try
Leave me... Live ur life
Don't worry.. I will be alright
In no time.. u'll find someone....

A no to death bell
No one wants to hear death bell
It doesn’t find favor or go well
Everyone has different stories to tell
No one can generate idea or easily sell
It creates fear in mind
All unnecessary thoughts get unwind
We are half dead before its arrival
There is anxiety and great upheaval
Well it has to come on appointed day
No is no escape route or way
No one has anything to offer or say
You need no worry or attention to pay
Your good work may come to rescue
It is fine with you and equally true
You are at relative comforts
It doesn’t bother you much or hurt
The end may be soon without any delay
The angels may be ready to take you away
There may be bright light in the sky
You will be heavenly abode without any shy
You have fulfilled your mission
There is nothing unusual things for admission
You have lived your life in elegant way
It was always nice to find very good day
You did whatever you could in your position
People try to project their work in exhibition
You stayed in humble way all along
No one could point out as wrong
It is expected from every person
You have to lead simple life without any reason
You change for good as per season
Words spoken need not bitter as poison
Lead the way in life as you like
Only good thought must strike
Try to be kind and generous
Spend the life like water in river and continuous

Sleep To Rejuvenate lIfe!
Unconscious state of being is sleep;
Sleep refreshes mind, heart and soul.
While awake our activities are known
And while asleep no activity is known!
Dreams are common in sleep for all;
It fulfils the heart not possible otherwise!
First all starts as dreams and ends in action;
So, dream is consolation and inspiration!
Coming back to senses seems to be a magic!
If it does not take place one is concluded as dead!
In activities and sleep man's life goes on here;
But without good sleep no activity is bright!
Work while you work, play while play and also
Sleep while you sleep to rejuvenate your life!

Totally inactive
I die daily when go to sleep
There won’t be time left to weep
The final hour will be maintained
Not a single second more to be detained
It is onward journey and heavenly bound
No short cut or passage is found
The death bell may ring around
Perfectly when you have sleep very sound
Hardly for few hours are you active
In night you are dead and totally inactive
You may have new plans and future activities
It may end soon with lots of uncertainties
We embark on a venture which is unhelpful
No sureties whether it will shot sure or successful
Still futile bid for appeasing the false ego
The fate has waited for it years ago
No signal or warning to pack the plans
Not single second to alter the command
Leaving behind as it is for none to take care
Who knows you will be taken where?
Leave aside the futility of life for a second
Think about the next moment lying beyond
Nothing purposeful if planned not in participation
You won’t have even slight indication
Come in life next day to witness the cycle
Same routine and nothing new in circle
It is big round to find result and revolve around
Eyes may remain wide open in dismay when stand on ground
Helpless eyes may look in despair at sky
Thousands of thoughts to enter and pertinently ask why
What was the shortcoming not contemplated in mind?
Lot of confusion to over come and suitable answer to find
Is it not the illusory world that keeps us at large?
What we see is not water but a false mirage?
No firm ground or place to look and take refuge
Not sure of it but in disbelief eyes still refuse
So all in earnestness we die practically at night
Everything is left behind for others to make it right
Numbers of steps in mind to counter the move
Still no fear for self being forcefully removed
Sometimes days are longer than nights
Nights sometimes are longer to make it right
Hours remain same for correcting the trend
Where then time left to make the amend
So many shoddy deals take place in dark
Some of things are made unknown to embark
No one knows the exact launching time and place
We only know the ways and means to save the face
Utilize the day and rest in night
Nights are not meant to fight
Everything to come at stand still
Surrender everything at free and good will

Sorrowful ocean
Life is like vast ocean,
Full of sorrow and pain,
Joy less and worry main,
Not to loose hope and energy regain,
To Learn a lesson from each failure,
Content with less and nothing to procure,
Difficulties more but patience to endure,
No immediate result but success is sure,
If life was ever to be smooth,
Who would pray and take oath?
Eat more and carry the weight
Sound sleep and get up late
Life and death are two parts of wheel
failure of any one may makes us to feel
Life may move on and doesn’t come to an end
Pray for success and ways to mend
who understands life but never lament?
No regrets but passing the comment
trying very hard to overcome the shock
Time never stops as clicks the time in clock
Hardship may give you endurance and strength
Will power to withstand and go to any length
No loss of face but to feel at ease,
Success to knock and failure to cease
