A battle of brain is never won
it has weighted as heavy ton
it can't be wasted or simple gone
it is to be kept in mind or borne

To be well adjusted
can be a terrible thing
for where am I to dream
what does not yet exist
if I am only focused
upon what currently is?
And where in this
is to come to be
Creativity?
It can be a terrible thing

becomes hard-wired
to only what we
have personally experienced-
when I am out to discover
what is different from me?

Distasteful references of the inner city
by an uninhabited brain from the outer rim
It is so far gone from the real world
that it splatters itself all over the tv
A fly stuck in its own blood
The eyes still work and everything else is intact
