A Be-ggar
No one opts for unless forced
Inner soul feels guilty with remorse
Yet that is compulsion
No one desires it even amidst confusion
It is curse to be called beggar
*Daridranarayan* in new avatar
Daily blessing all for little food
Respond to appeal and offer for good
Charity is not offered daily
It is done with insult really
No one parts it with smiling face
Only left over food is offered in such case
Body is able but no backing
No one thinks of utilizing and stacking
Their place for honorable living
Payment for real labor and relieving
Yes some kind of rehabilitation is warranted
Their place in society is hopefully wanted
They are very much part but really not blessed
God has given hands but helplessly chased
I shall only think and do nothing
Express pity but no offer for something
The beggar passes off and so our feeling
Our sympathy remains behind as concealed
It is gigantic task and needs some consideration
Not all can be rehabilitated at one place with concentration
Many may still want to be in same position
As it provides them no other alternative under superstition

Beggar's death
No one cried over his demise
When his body was found at our premise
He might have tried to knock the door
But we were fast asleep in door
We used to give him some food
When he passed in street with health looking good
He won't beg of his own but always thanked
When offered something that he cheerfully drank
For many days we had noticed his absence
It was giving us shock not to witness his presence
We believed in his well being even though he was not related
As we felt good for him and humanly feted
Some one shouted by his name as beggar
We ran out of premises and noticed there
His motionless body with no movement
We felt bad and cursed his death with resentment
Even though something had forced him
He never used to bother and troubled them
He will stare at the sky and murmur
Laugh gently as if wanted something to offer
For whatever reason at least he deserved descent burial
The decency at this time was essential
Anybody would want to be happily taken away
The last rituals were to be observed is this way
His eyes were wide open and wanted an answer
I shut it with hands and offered its closure
"What was a purpose in leading such life? "
As it was spend on edges of sharp knife
As he had no one to look after
We took all responsibility there after
He was given nice bath and offered good cloths
The destination point was observed after his death

Night's still awake with flexible souls
At the daybreak a drunkard whispers to a beggar's ear
Who's fast asleep on the concrete bed!
'Sorry for the inconvenience brother!
Short of few coins and I want to go back home
As I lost my way last night and slept in a strange place.'
The kind beggar gave him a brand new dollar note
with a big yawn and he's surprised.
He jumped to the first bus and gone.
Now the beggar remembers the friend
Once offered him a drink and he's worried
That he should have given him more.

A bad or good
What is bad or good?
it is like taste in food
you can never distinguish
it has close finish
It may be over done
it might not have been visualized by any one
what is bad can be good in individual's eye?
we must understand and sincerely try
Good advice may be felt very bad
it may take away peace and make us sad
there is difference between bad or good act
we may be sometimes unreasonable to react
There is right perception to over look
Good food can be spoiled by an expert cook
One bad act may shake your belief
It may give you jolt and doesn't provide relief
Charity begins at home
Good gesture is always welcome
there is definite lacuna somewhere
it is nice always to take care
Love to do the things self and enjoy
The child is always happy with the toy
Bitter words offer discomforts and annoy
Good friends never act as decoy
It is herculean task to evaluate
There nothing to offer or relate
you can speak clearly and state
it should be offered in time and not very late

A need to understand
A need to understand
We should be aware of what is happening around
We neglect sometimes and truth is never found
We see the things ourselves while making round
Making some gestures is only steps we find sound
Many disabled people find they want something more
We should see the reason behind and explore
They need some attention but still not enough
We need be kind with works and not look so rough
They are not sick mentally and seek attention
They are love hungry and want pet on back or mention
They look forward to you for special care
They want to know what and where they are?
Eyes rise up to see what you can offer
They are ready to forget how much they suffer?
Let us be kind enough to know their woes
Let us be real friends to them and not prove as foes
We may be doing lot of charities at home
We may often visit them and welcome
Do they really need only lip service or mere gesture?
Do they not see in our eyes their only future?
Children may sometimes wonder at our attitude?
They may not be in position to assess our gratitude
They look with pity and eagerly watch at our apathy
Is the token help that we can offer as sympathy?
They may be destitute and poor but helpless
No proper place in society and even jobless
Let us be little considerate and offer real belonging
It may last for ever and impact longing
They are part of healthy society
They are not less than any deity
We try to look generous but with scant respect
Still they want out soul to look beyond and introspect

Virginity at stake
I was in deep anguish but unable to cry
So many questions in mind but couldn’t ask why?
Was my academic carrier to come to an abrupt halt?
What steps were essential to lift spirit and exalt?
It involves great sum for higher studies
It adds to tension and unwanted worries
It is not simple matter to be tackled with ease
It requires financial backing with fund release
As poor peasant’s girl I had no way for higher study
I could curse only fate and felt so much pity
There was no course open for money support
No miracle ship was to come with call at port
It is absolutely clear that poor have no where to go
So many things they have to compromise and forgo
At each and every step they have to face with crisis
Where was the question for them to go and emphasis?
When you have no shelter or cover for future/
It altogether represents picture very insecure
You find no way or even slight hope for tomorrow
It is only left for you to beg or to go and borrow
What people ask for in return of favor?
Pluck the flower from garden for flavor?
This was not some thing new to grasp
I was going to prove for me the great task
I knocked every door for possible help
No one came forward to help myself
It was proving difficult to come out
I had no option left but to opt for fall out
I had great dilemma and trauma to undergo
What else I could offer or things to forgo?
I could offer only my body for auction
I could still believe it as hasty action
It was better to face onslaught at once
It was feared they may take out flash and pounce
What was use of having modesty for nothing?
It least carrier would provide me something
Why not to take revenge on system or society?
Was I not the commodity for sale in variety?
I offered to auction my virginity in open
Such cases don’t occur or take place often
I was feeling at great height of life
People wouldn’t have offered me so much as wife
Countless offers for single night with virginity
I was not worried at all for any kind of divinity
It was mixed reaction of sadness and joy
Thousands offered money for that night to enjoy
I had clear ambition of staying with future
With single night’s sacrifice I was to be fully secured
I released the details with full acknowledgement of episode
Plight, agony were pushed back and happiness over rode
It was fulfillment of mission for simple girl
The things were definitely taking different turn
(Based on real story of girl from new zeland who offered virginity for auction)

The Unknown
Ye aspiring ones, listen to the story of the unknown
Who lies here with no stone to mark the place.
As a boy reckless and wanton,
Wandering with gun in hand through the forest
Near the mansion of Aaron Hatfield,
I shot a hawk perched on the top
Of a dead tree.
He fell with guttural cry
At my feet, his wing broken.
Then I put him in a cage
Where he lived many days cawing angrily at me
When I offered him food.
Daily I search the realms of Hades
For the soul of the hawk,
That I may offer him the friendship
Of one whom life wounded and caged.

Thanks for fine gesture
“Would you like to have some food “
We were watching laborers daily and understood
How much it was difficult to work under hot sun
They were toiling very hard to earn
“No sir, thanks for your kind gesture”
We can’t make exceptions any more
Today you are offering ready meal
To morrow who will be there to feel?
If I accept for one day as you are offering
My all habits may witness change and altering
I may search for it daily from somewhere
To our bad luck it may not be coming from anywhere
I was stunned to hear his philosophical thoughts
He was simple worker but fully aware of plight
As worker how much he had to struggle to find square meal
He was satisfied with his work as effort made in direction were real
He was getting enough to meet his family needs
He did not know what were the motives behind deeds?
He was sure of treatment after putting up hard struggle
It was timely help to come out of little troubles
The message was clear and nicely delivered
It was out of some pity and just offered
It was not well judged from his point of view
As little availability of food was not his need or due
Sometimes we feel very much elated at little gain
If that has come to us without much efforts or pain
It is human tendency to accept the offer without reluctance
We can observe it in our daily life with many more instances
We must work hard and don’t compromise with stand
It may not offer immediate return but strengthen the trend
We may never go in for short cut and accept undue favors
As it may spoil your tendency to feel bad and sour
We are all governed by inherited spirit
Shower the praise words when offer to greet
It has some motives to please a person
But in fact guided by selfish motives with reasons

Homeless Childrens Covenant
So much bad news- about children being abused.
What kind of thoughts can go thru a molesters mind
Don’t they know they’ll be caught with time.
Do you know how many children have run away
Because in their house they could not stay.
At the time they think that the streets are their escape
But they don’t know that predators sit and wait.
They offer you food, a roof, and a bed to sleep
Once they get you - you’re in trouble deep.
They will tell you that you have no value, no worth
You’ve never been loved since your birth.
They’ll tell you that the only thing that you can do
Is give a sexual favor or two.
You have no money- no food
Just the clothes on your back
Against you the cards have been stacked.
No education and no place to live
What can you offer- what do you have to give.
They’ll say anything to get control
They want to own you body and soul.
Go to your local churches, or the YMCA
If they can’t help you, they’ll recommend a way.
There are places that you can go
Where they can help you- more than you know.
One of these is called “COVENANT HOUSE”
Helping boys and girls of all ages
Knowing each child has gone thru different stages.
A roof, a bed, food to eat
You can finally get off the streets.
They can help you turn your life around
And no more being put to the ground.
Giving you self respect, and it gets better yet.
A place where there is love abound
This is the place that many have found.
Many had to get out of an abusive family situation
But the streets is not your salvation.
There are kids younger than you
What do you think they’ve gone through.
Use the strength and knowledge
that you have gained
To help others of the same.

Overweight with Food
Are you just a tub of lard and
Vastly overweight?
Do you think that when you die you'll
Need a piano crate
To act as coffin for your frame? -
Chosen as you die in shame, with
Only you to take the blame
For years of eating much the same:
A daily calorific fest
Gourmands of your ilk digest!
Is your heart in final fling and
Nearly set to burst?
Are your arteries bunged and clogged and
Feeling now the worst
For wear? - your aneurysm fit to blow
While blood as thick as rising dough
Cries 'Halt! ' to any hope of flow:
A dreadful state to put on show
In front of any nurse!
Best you hail a hearse.

Rather Unfortunate
I would say it and rather term it as unfortunate
As it had many divine aspects and things to relate
It was favored on me as divine bliss
I really cursed the situation as total miss
Not all are fortunate enough to witness the blessings
It may be in any form and may come in at any casing
So is the case with divine drops and vision
At the last moment person may miss it with confusion
This can be somewhat called as missed opportunity
The luck and chances are to be seized with ability
Miss it once and nothing is left to curse with
Next time be armed with resolve and closed teeth
Nothing comes in easy way
More you try and it will go away
Such is game of fate or luck
So much stock of ill luck may always be struck
People may also offer kicks
When you are wounded and forced to lick
They have no good words but to offer only sticks
If defeated then they may offer some other tricks
I would concede only on one consideration
The problems must have bearing on one relation
Either be prepared for acceptance or loss
There can’t be straight path or any cross

We near to God
This is how we near to God
Pray and memorize as His words
Not in helplessness but as embodiment
The heart feels the pulse as right moment
What in turn we get is so precious
All ideas in purest form without being vicious
You try the feeling of being pious
The life goes on and remains continuous
Prayers are meant to provide relief
It has been remained our general belief
It may be bore out of some frustration
Yet it transforms the person with good indication
You develop kind feeling when find at holy place
A place to find refuge without to be in mad race
Complete peace with no rushing of any evil intent
These are the feelings you receive as heavenly sent
It is real reflection of mind
You feel very generous and kind
As the heavenly spirit is just entering
Your whole concentration is centering
It is worth try to feel in vicinity
As He is not near by but in infinity
You still worship him in good mood
That is your life and it serves as tonic or food

Able and strong survive
It is generally believed that strongest survive
Others may not get chance to thin and revive
It is universal fact and got to be acknowledged
There is vast gap and that must be bridged
Mighty have always ruled and weakest suffered
Nothing in return for them is offered
Why there is conceptual difference?
Why not we not we draw any inference?
We must try earnestly and honestly to bride the gulf
The question must pertinently be asked to nobody but to iself
Only we are in position to address the system
The root must come out strongly from the stem
Why not to adopt a system which acts as buffer,
Have we any right to say no and differ?
It may be compulsion on our part to offer resistance
We shouldn’t go for it and seek instance
This question always lead me to puzzle
Rain did not offer peace even when started to dazzle,
it continued to hunt mind and troubled always,
I sat motionless and tried to find new ways,
Why am I not powerful like sun?
Why do I always think of using the gun?
Is there no peaceful or alternate?
Where there is supposed to be all equal and no subordinates
We are all equal in His eyes
There is no short or byes
We must follow the natural dictate
There must be rightful sign to indicate
Rulers have helped influential to take over
Scene remains same but clouds still hover
No thanks in return but reward with distrustful gesture
What is in store for our bright future?
Why still remain in history all kinds of disparity?
Is there any deep sense of feeling for high morality?
Why do we face question of unsimilarity or seniority?
This is pertinent question is faced by most of majority
World will not change even after complete destruction,
Face the dishonor even after offered with useful instructions
Matter remains same even harsher than question,
Even if you try to forget and dump deep in bastion
I shall do whatever I can in my ordinary capacity
There may not be fine blend or quality
Still it may remain as worthless try
Why anybody should feel guilty or shy?
It may still remain same for many more centuries,
Distance may reduce or gulf bridged between countries
many changes may take place and come with new entries,
Rules may change but not the composition of sentences

A special reason
A special reason
For special person
Not waiting for any season
But is it the special one?
A smile is worth million
A bond worth for union
May have clear lien
A feeling not known to alien
You offered me joy
I laugh it out and enjoy
It was worth to offer you smile
Life is moving smoothly for meanwhile
What a great response to smiling face?
As if river is taking part in race?
No one is sure of meeting the sea
It may still be worth to run as free
I would offer him nothing
It may still be something
It will surely be surrender
But he will not act as offender
I did offer him best
It stood the real test
He has sailed safely to shore
He has everything for me in store

Be not a beggar
Avoid seeking aids
Unless in bare needs;
Avoid getting helps
Unless in dire needs.
Provide in equals
To those aids and helps.
You should not afford
To be a beggar.
Offer help and aids
That must not be baits;
Offer gifts and kinds
That should not be a debt.
Your pay out should not be
Less than your receipts.
You cannot afford to be a beggar,
You be not greedy
Which makes you ugly.
Then you aren’t shut
Doors by the dear ones.
You may remain poor
But not a beggar.
Being a beggar
Is worse than a slave.

Big Black Dot Targets and Apolo Governments
They never said we were guilty
But sort of by the way
Guilty in the huts
Shelter guilty people
Cellar guilty people
Depleted uranium splintered
In guilt we daily grew
Collaterally guilty
For we were at the wrong place
At the wrong moment
For we never knew the place
Or the moment though sirened
Bilaterally unsheltered alarmed
By either earth or sky
Multilaterally scattered unarmed
Uninationally sentenced to die
Multinationally mapped across the cities
Internationally timed and clocked
In guilt we daily grew
As they dropped the bombs
As they ruined the huts
As they crashed the shelters
And mushrooms blew the body parts
As they broke the hearts…
Most naïve lol
Expected them to apologize
Most experienced knew
Apolo governments never do

Beggar is close to God
Begging for something is a cut
That is made at the root of your ego.
Begging for food is the deepest cut.
A monk goes begging for food,
Where he feels pride, not humiliation.
A beggar knocks the door for food,
Cursing his fate, tasting the humiliation.
Ego is active in monk, dead in beggar.
Who will get quick salvation?

When The Conscience Speaks...
a beggar arrives home today
bringing her story
and she talks and talks
and convinces me that
she deserves to be
given food and money...
an intelligent beggar
with wits and wiles, and she wins
i am parting with
some charities
that only God can pay...
well and good,
that is what this feeling says
this conscience is not
dead
after all....

I feel guilty
I feel guilty when enter the holy place
For asking favor with fake face
Bring pity on face and fold the hands
Close the eyes and wish with prayers
Nothing bad has taken place so far
Only some draw backs have taken place temporarily
I could face it in any case bravely
But there was hidden fear that bothered me intensely
"Go to Him with prayers" many friends used to advise
The result may come in your favor and sometimes surprise
Even though I am firm believer and worked for good deeds
The success was the only thing of an hour and required indeed
From deep feelings, it made me foolish
Why I needed to go for such thing and wish?
I could try honestly and then leave it to his mercy
He is aware of all that but did not labor hard as duty
It is always good to approach him and seek blessings
Sometimes you are guilty and feel punch with teasing
Yet that provides you some form of solace
As you expect respite from divine store in such cases
Person feels secure after having made an appeal
At least on that score it seems from all the angles very real
When we are thrust upon this world as special entity
We need all types of grace and helping hand from almighty
It is felt and realized that nothing comes on as success
If we are totally blind and care for no blessings or an access
His wish is supreme and helps till the end of the journey
We ask nothing more from his divinity
Think about your self as luckiest most if life is spent smoothly
We might not have been provided enough to last happily
That is biggest achievement if you feel internally as contentment
Life as such is illusion and hence there is no room for discontentment

An ugly or bad face
It made her very sad and felt embarrassed
Situation developed all of sudden and not assessed
Circumstances too were hostile to be pressed
Emotions ran high and worries were suddenly traced
She did hide her face and almost wept
No one was ready to look at her and accept
Was it a good offer or to reject?
Who on the earth is so perfect?
I couldn’t say she was normal or ugly
She looked Intelligent but seemed so homely
Black spots were visible on the rough face
For her there was no one in the race
Right from the day one of her gaining consciousness
She faced all words of world with seriousness
She was still confident, unmindful of hollowness
Some concrete moves were on her part with fineness
Was she ugly and looked clumsy of her own?
Why people, friends offer her and disown?
Was she asking for precious stone or crown?
it was only honorable living without any frown
She moved easily with confidence and boldness
People still frowned with and offered coldness
She still surged ahead with disregards to all
It was need of the hour and urgent call
Nothing could shake her zeal and will power
She never looked below but always at peak or tower
Only cowards and weak look down with shyness
She was good at all move with bright success
Everybody may not look at and praise outer beauty
It was role of almighty who did his best duty
Who are we to criticize and insult the ugly person?
I find nothing new or wrong with any of the reason
someone from us liked her and offered rose
Millions of questions just invaded her mind and posed?
Was that the out come of trust in God she reposed?
She never thought of such and ideas tossed
Was that the inner strength in her which prevailed?
All far off chances even if not sure must be availed
Life is full of uncertainties and must be respected
One should search the soul and must be inspected
God has given us fine body with fertile mind
It must have generosity and pity of all kind
What is use of outer beauty if that can’t show?
All human ingredients which are essential to grow
She was not embarrassed now and stood erect
Nothing new was needed for her to feel correct
It was the an act of almighty to feel holy grace
What was there to worry about ugly or beautiful face
