Interior
It sheds a shy solemnity,
This lamp in our poor room.
O grey and gold amenity, --
Silence and gentle gloom!
Wide from the world, a stolen hour
We claim, and none may know
How love blooms like a tardy flower
Here in the day's after-glow.
And even should the world break in
With jealous threat and guile,
The world, at last, must bow and win
Our pity and a smile.

Teenage Love
teenage love
is a strong
vibrant love
growing in developing trust
unburdened by broken baggage
emotional scares some adults
choose to relive
in endless cycles
dance of bitter blame
for you always among
the smiles and tears
there should always be
beauty so you always
remember who you are
and always stay serene
confident and poised
focused on life giving energy
gift you inherently impart
when you enter a room
it blooms with vibrant energy
the walls shimmer possibilities
even with previous occupancy
room was grey dormant
flat without passions of feeling
before your entrance felt entry
when room breathed back into life
with joy greeting your sparkling soul
therefore never be grey downcast sad
show your smile to appreciative world
so our world need not be dour grey solemn
when God smiles the universe shines
when you smile your friends rejoice
your smile ripples across dark waters
we miss your smile
yet can see it in our minds...
mere thought of your
smile makes us smile also...
our lips obey the command
of our responding hearts...

Smile At Me :)
Smile at me
that smile, that finds me in the crowd
The one that lights up the room
And makes the world not seem so loud
Smile at me
that smile, that dances upon your laughter
The one that settles into the charming grin
I always remember after
Smile at me
That smile, that always makes me smile
The one that’s completely contagious
And lasts a whole long while
Smile at me
That smile, when my world feels grey
That smile, that smile
The one that chases sorrows away
Even for a moment…
Won’t you smile at me that smile?
If only for a moment
Smile at me…

Why Should I Love You
This chapter says
Put it out of your mind
Mmm, give it time....
The fine purple
The purest gold
The red of the sacred heart
The grey of a ghost
The l of the lips are open
To the o of the host
The v of the velvet
Of all of the people in the world
Why should I love you?
Theres just something bout you
Theres just something bout you
Of all the people in the world
Why should I love you?
Have you ever seen a picture
Of jesus laughing?
Mmm, do you think
He had a beautiful smile?
A smile that healed
Of all the people in the world
Why should I love you?
Theres just something bout you
Theres just something bout you
Of all the people in the world
Why should I love you?
Of all the people in the world
Why should I love you?
The fine purple
The purest gold

The grey of a ghost
The l of the lips are open

The World Has Grown So Grey
THE world has grown so grey, love,
The weary world so wide;
And autumn seems to stay, love—
'T was autumn when you died.
And everything is strange and new,
For all my world has died with you—
It lacks the light you gave.
And sad-eyed dusk awaits alway,
And the nights wedge in the narrow day
Like the walls of an open grave!
It was so cruel to go, love,
To leave me at your grave;
For Death can never know, love,
How hard 't is to be brave.
Sometimes I smile, my tears between,
For I see the still-born Might-Have-Been
That to your breast you've ta'en.
But memory wakes with a sudden start,
And the naked truth knells at my heart—
And the world grows grey again!

Break the Silence....
Oh! Dear women
All over the world
Speaking the language of silence
Break it, Let the world recognize
You, the women all over the world
Break the silence
Fastened your mind
Let it pronounce the autonomy
Of your heart, of your will
Aloud, agile and ablaze
Break the silence
To let you feel
You are still alive bevy
Crack the crotchet which smash your life
and Join hands to procure rights
Break the silence
To liberate self and
Reject those…
Feathering acclaims
Spot those lurking witty wolf
To ingratiate until death
Break the silence
You had been
Promoting from
From the womb
Let us not carry it along
Till the tomb
As if a shroud
Break the silence
Abandon abeyance
Lest you will be questioned
Not only by your self
But by your dear beat
Dear, Break...
Break the silence......
Let they not inherit our
Mute, muss, musty silence
Let us not see them crown
Sterile, dumb, stolid silence

A Ballad of London
AH, London! London! our delight,
Great flower that opens but at night,
Great City of the midnight sun,
Whose day begins when day is done.
Lamp after lamp against the sky
Opens a sudden beaming eye,
Leaping alight on either hand,
The iron lilies of the Strand.
Like dragonflies, the hansoms hover,
With jeweled eyes, to catch the lover;
The streets are full of lights and loves,
Soft gowns, and flutter of soiled doves.
The human moths about the light
Dash and cling close in dazed delight,
And burn and laugh, the world and wife,
For this is London, this is life!
Upon thy petals butterflies,
But at thy root, some say, there lies,
A world of weeping trodden things,
Poor worms that have not eyes or wings.
From out corruption of their woe
Springs this bright flower that charms us so,
Men die and rot deep out of sight
To keep this jungle-flower bright.
Paris and London, World-Flowers twain
Wherewith the World-Tree blooms again,
Since Time hath gathered Babylon,
And withered Rome still withers on.
Sidon and Tyre were such as ye,
How bright they shone upon the tree!
But Time hath gathered, both are gone,
And no man sails to Babylon.

Black & White
I am one with the world tonight
I am proud to be this far from you
You say that you have no regrets
But I know that you do
You told me someone stole the eye
I know him too
Ive come to the conclusion - yes, I know
That between black and white, there is no room for two
The scale might be wide, but there's no need to be blind
Cause between black and white, there is no room for two
I leave all of the grey behind
I see clear, I know that Ill find
You claim that you are innocent
But tell me who isnt
You think that youre going to be saved
Theres no such thing as a saint
Ive come to the conclusion - yes, I know
That between black and white, there is no room for two
The scale might be wide, but there is no need to be blind
Cause between black and white, there is no room for two
I've come to the conclusion - yes I know
That between black and white, there is no room for two
The scale might be wide, but there is no need to be blind
Cause between black and white, there is no room for two

Whole Wide World
When I was a young boy, my momma she said to me:
Theres only one girl in the world for you
And she probably lives in tahiti
Or maybe in the bahamas
Where the caribbean sea is blue
Weepin away in the tropical night
Because nobodys told her bout you
Id go the whole wide world
Id go the whole wide world
Just to find her
Id go the whole wide world
Id go the whole wide world
To find out where they hide her
Yeah!
Why am I hanging around in the rain out here
Tryin to think of a girl
Why are my eyes fillin up with these lonely tears
When theres girls all over the world?
Or is she lying on a tropical beach somewhere
Underneat the tropical sun
Hiding away in the heat wave there
Hopin that I wont be long?
Id go the whole wide world
Id go the whole wide world
Just to find her
Id go the whole wide world
Id go the whole wide world
To find out where they hide her
[repeat]
Yeah!
Id go the whole wide world
[repeat to fade]

Silence
So silent is the world to-night
The lamp gives silence out like light,
The latticed windows open wide
Show silence, like the night, outside:
The nightingale's faint song draws near
Like musical silence to mine ear.
The empty house calls not to me,
'Here, but for fate, were thou and she--'
Its gibe for once is checked. To-night
Silence is queen in grief's despite,
And even the longing of my soul
Is silent 'neath this hour's control.

Break It Down Again
So those are my dreams
And these are my eyes
Stand tall like a man
Head a strong like a horse
When it's all mixed up
Better break it down
In the world of secrets
In the world of sound
It's in the way you're always hiding from the light
See for yourself you have been sitting on a time bomb
No revolution maybe someone somewhere else
Could show you something new about you and your inner song
And all the love and all the love in the world
Won't stop the rain from falling
Waste seeping underground
I want to break it down
Break it down again
So these are my schemes
And these are my plans
Hot tips for the boys
Fresh news from the force
When it's all mixed up
Better break it down
In the world of silence
In the world of sound
" No sleep for dreaming" say the architects of life
Big bouncing babies

Give A Little Bit Of Smile
Friends of the universe
I welcome you all
To the world of sunshine and laughter
Theres so much to see if only you could see
That life is so merry, so jolly and free
Come listen to me and hear what I say
Just a little favor from society
cause it only needs a muscle to be happy
So come and show it and give all the love
Refrain:
Give a little bit of smile
And the world would smile too
Yes, a little bit of smile
And the sun will shine through
Give a little bit of smile
Spread the cheers now
Spread them smile after smile
Life will be easy, I promise youll see
Open up your eyes to things of beauty
And remember the world will find its glory
If you and me will only agree
Give a little bit of smile
And the world would smile too
Yes, a little bit of smile
And the sun will shine through
Give a little bit of smile
Spread the cheers now
Spread them wide like the bird
That keeps on flying in the sky
Like the child who listens to a lullaby
Theres a smile that we can share together
Give that smile and love one another
Give a little bit of smile
And the world would smile too
Yes, a little bit of smile
And the sun will shine through
Give a little bit of smile
Spread the cheers now
Spread them smile after smile
A little bit of smile

For Your Love
All the gold in all the world
Is nothing to possess
If all the things that it can bring
Cant add up to one ounce of your happiness
And for your love
I would do anything
Just to see the smile upon your face
For your love
I would go anywhere
Just you tell me and Ill be right there
A diamond that shines
Like a star in the sky
Is nothing to behold
For miniscule is any light
If it cant like you brighten up my soul
And for your love
I would do anything
Just to see the smile upon your face
For your love
I would go anywhere
Just you tell me and Ill be right there
I could have never fathomed this
Such joy, love and tenderness
That you give to me
For the love I feel inside
Its so wonderful I cant hide
And I glow, I glow
With just the thought of you
I do, I do, I do, I do, I do, I do
And for your love
I would do anything
Just to see the smile upon your face
For your love
I would go anywhere
Just you tell me and Ill be right there
(repeat 3 times)

Just Smile
Smile to the world
So, they can't see your pain
Smile to the world
To hide your tears
Smile to the world
Camouflage your turmoiled heart
Smile to the world
No questions asked
Smile to the world
Hide your scars
Smile to the world with affection
Just smile to brighten someone's world.

What In The World
Youre just a little girl with grey eyes
Never mind, say something
Wait until the crowd cries
Oh, wait until the crowd cries
Youre just a little girl with grey eyes
So deep in your room, you never leave your room
Something deep inside of me - yearning deep inside of me
Talking through the gloom
What in the world can you do
What in the world can you do
Im in the mood for your love
For your love
For your love
For your love
Oh
Im just a little bit afraid of you
Cause love wont make you cry
But, wait until the crowd goes
Oh, wait until the crowd goes
Im just a little bit afraid of you
So deep in your room, you never leave your room
Something deep inside of me - yearning deep inside of me
Talking through the gloom
What in the world can I do
What in the world can I do
Im in the mood for your love
For your love
For your love
Oh, what you gonna say?
Oh, what you gonna do?
Ah, what you gonna be?
To be real me, to the real me
Under the cool, under the cool and under having a ball
What you gonna say to the real me, to the real me
Ahhhh, ahhhh, ahhhh, ahhhh, ahhh

Room At The Top
I got a room at the top of the world tonight
I can see everything tonight
I got a room where everyone
Can have a drink and forget those things
That went wrong in their life
I got a room at the top of the world tonight
I got a room at the top of the world tonight
I got a room at the top of the world tonight
And I aint comin down, I aint comin down
I got someone who loves me tonight
I got over a thousand dollars in the bank
And Im all right
Look deep in the eyes of love
Look deep in the eyes of love
And find out what you were looking for
I got a room at the top of the world tonight
I got a room at the top of the world tonight
I got a room at the top of the world tonight
And I aint comin down, no I aint comin down
I wish I could feel you tonight, little one
Youre so far away
I wanna reach out and touch your heart
Yeah like they do in those things on tv, I love you
Please love me, Im not so bad
And I love you so
I got a room at the top of the world tonight
I got a room at the top of the world tonight
I got a room at the top of the world tonight
And I aint comin down, no I aint comin down
I aint comin down

Dumbing Down The World
Im dumbing down the world
Yes, Im dumbing down the world
And my head is held high
And the glint in my eye
And my arrogance rumbles before me!
Im dumbing down the world!
Im dumbing down the world!
Im dumbing down, Im dumbing down the world!
Im dumbing down the world!
And my thoughts are banal, like a stagnant canal
And my sycophants shamble behind me
Im dumbing down the world
Yeah, Im dumbing down the world
Im dumbing down, Im dumbing down the world
Yeah, Im dumbing down the world!
And my power is come around, is come around
Yes! my hour is come around, is come around - look around!
Im dumbing down the world
Yes, Im dumbing down the world
And my works are designed to suck blood from your mind
For you energy feeds and sustains me!
Im dumbing down the world!
Yes, Im dumbing down the world
