Hotels
The room is free
Each for himself
A new arrival
Pays by the month
The boss is doubtful
Whether you’ll pay
Like a top
I spin on the way
The traffic noise
My neighbour gross
Who puffs an acrid
English smoke
O La Vallière
Who limps and smiles
In my prayers
The bedside table
And all the company
in this hotel
know the languages
of Babel
Let’s shut our doors
With a double lock
And each adore
his lonely love

Loan Shark's Secretary
She writes on a piece of paper; My Boss is a multi-millionaire
Though he's never been to a school.
Boss questioned her 'What do you write honey'
'I am writing about you sir' Secretary replied.
'Then read it louder' Boss said.
'My Boss knows the secret of success than a learned person.'
When she gets her pay slip the following month she found it has been increased more than a double.

Boss Of Me
Yes, no, maybe
I don't know
Can you repeat the question?
You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now, and you're not so big
You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now, and you're not so big
Life is unfair, so I just stare at the stain on the wall where
The TV'd been, but ever since we've moved in it's been empty
Why I, why I'm in this room
There is no point explaining
You're not the boss of me now, and you're not so big
You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now, and you're not so big
Life is a test, but I confess
I like this mess I've made so far
Grade on a curve and you'll observe
I'm right below the horizon
Yes, no, maybe, I don't know
Can you repeat the question?
You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now, and you're not so big
You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now, and you're not so big
You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now, and you're not so big
You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now, and you're not so big
Life is unfair

Love Hotel
If you travel with
Those who know you well
I can recommend
Stay at love hotel.
Every room a hallway
Softly sell
Dont get stranded on the lift
Of the love hotel
Love hotel, love hotel, love hotel.
Dont deny yourself
It wants simple truth
Ring for give and take
As the floor and room.
Every room a hallway
Who can tell
Dont get stranded by the lift
Of the love hotel
Love hotel, love hotel, love hotel.
Every room a hallway
Softly sell
Dont get stranded by the lift
Of the love hotel
Love hotel, love hotel.

Hotel Chambermaid
Thanks to [email protected] for these lyrics.
When the lights are low you know I'm going to go
To my hotel chambermaid
I'm going to jump the garden and come on hard all night
While the river's rolling outside the window
Going to see her going to get love
Going to shut the bellboy out tonight
When the world is dead I'm going to make the bed
With my hotel chambermaid
She'll bring the coffee in the morning with a smile
She don't ask where I come from
I crept in and I soon will be done
Going to shut the bellboy out tonight
I ain't got a million dollars
No one I can call mine
But I'll push on cushion me some way
Ain't got no future at least that's what they say
This girl is going to take those kind of blues away
Hotel chambermaid
Hotel chambermaid
Room service can you help me
I want a hotelchambermaid
I didn't pay my bill but then I had my fill all night
While the river's rolling outside the window
Going to see her going to get love
Going to shut the bellboy out tonight
While the river's rolling outside the window
Going to see her going to get love
Going to shut the bellboy out tonight

Heartbreak Hotel
Since my baby left me
I found a new place to dwell
Down at the end of lonely street at heartbreak hotel
I get so lonely baby
I get so lonely
I get so lonely I could die
Although its always crowded
I still can find some room
Where those broken hearted lovers
Cry away their gloom, oh!
I get so lonely
I get so lonely
Get so lonely I could die
Bellhops tears keep flowing
Desk clerk dressed in black
They been so long on lonely street
They aint never comin back
I get so lonely
I get so lonely
Get so lonely I could die
If your baby leaves you
And you have a tale to tell
Just take a walk
Down lonely street to heartbreak hotel
I get so lonely baby
I get so lonely
I get so lonely I could die

This Noise
The noise that disturbs your neighbour is like,
A swimmer without a life-jacket!
But, i will live to lead you on peacefully;
However, this noise around you is like a hammer hitting the head of the nail.
The noise that disturbs your neighbour is like,
Creating the silent war within your neighbourhood!
And like the heart of a summer around many others;
For, i know when it matters most.
Try to learn and try to live with one another,
Try to do your best without disturbing your neighbour!
For, this noise will surely not bring you peace among them.

Prisoner
Time has come to say goodbye
To the broken memories
Theyre locked inside like prisoners
In a place that no-one sees
Stayed up late with a friend of mine
Southern comfort till dawn
We talked about the pains of love
Shouldve known from
The start you were wrong
Im just a prisoner
Dont wanna lock myself away
Prisoner - I get so lonely, lonely
Im a prisoner
Just when do you think love will stay
It walks right out on you - out on you
Tired blood runs through my veins
But I cant get no sleep
You lock my heart
In these prison walls
This place Ive got to leave
Im a prisoner
Dont wanna lock myself away
Prisoner - I get so lonely, lonely
Im a prisoner
Just when do you think love will stay
It walks right out on you - out on you
The sky is grey, its raining
Like the storm in my heart
There aint no use explaining
cause Im leaving, leaving
Wont somebody set me free
Take me away from this misery
I get so lonely
I get so lonely, lonely, lonely
Wont somebody set me free
Please, please, set me free

Heartbreak Hotel (feat. Kim Carnes)
(Duet with Kim Carnes) Written by: Mae Boren Axton, Tommy Durden, Elvis Presley
Now, since my baby left me
I've found a new place to dwell
Down at the end of lonely street
At Heartbreak Hotel
I get so lonely, baby, I get so lonely
I get so lonely, I could die
Although it's always crowded
You still can find some room
For broken hearted lovers
To cry away their gloom
I get so lonely, baby, I get so lonely
I get so lonely, I could die
The bell hop's tears keep flowing
The desk clerk's dressed in black
They've been so long lonely street
They will never go back
I get so lonely, baby, I get so lonely
I get so lonely, I could die
So if your baby leaves you and you have a tale to tell
Just take a walk down lonely street to Heartbreak Hotel
I get so lonely, baby, I get so lonely
I get so lonely, I could die

Well, since my baby left me,
I found a new place to dwell.
It's down at the end of lonely street
at Heartbreak Hotel.
You make me so lonely baby,
I get so lonely,
I get so lonely I could die.
And although it's always crowded,
you still can find some room.
Where broken hearted lovers
do cry away their gloom.
You make me so lonely baby,
I get so lonely,
I get so lonely I could die.
Well, the Bell hop's tears keep flowin',
and the desk clerk's dressed in black.
Well they been so long on lonely street
They ain't ever gonna look back.
You make me so lonely baby,

Two Doors Down
Chorus:
Two doors down
Theyre laughing and drinkin, and having a party
Two doors down
Theyre not aware that Im around
Cause here I am
Crying my heart out, feelin sorry while
Theyre having a party two doors down
I think Ill dry these useless tears
And get myself together
I think Ill wonder down the hall
And have a look around
cause I cant stay inside
This lonely room and cry forever
I think I really rather join em
Two door down, yeah
Repeat chorus
cause here I am
No longer cryin an feelin sorry
Were having a party just two doors down
I cant believe Im standin here
Dry-eyed, all smiles and talkin
Making conversation with the new love I have found
I ask him if hed like to be alone and we start walkin
Down the hall to my place waitin two doors down, yeah
Repeat chorus
cause here I am
Feelin everything but sorry
Were having our own party two doors down
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Two doors down
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Two doors down
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Two doors down
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Two doors down, oh
Repeat chorus
cause here we am
Feelin everything but sorry
Were havin our own party
Two doors down, yeah
Fade:
Repeat chorus

All I Know Is That I Live Within Me
The lonely moments teach me
Where I live, what I am
I may not know where I am going
Or tell when I am going to stay here
Fully dressed in the vigor of this life
Or even unmasked naked to my sorrows
This is my own life
This is what I make of myself
I am free beyond the limits of my grey skies
I am tearing walls
I am breaking closed doors and shut windows
Trying to see what lies ahead
Searching where I must end
This journey
Slowly I am knowing the jails
That lock me
I am destroying the chains
That bind me
Freeing my hands my mind
Into the surging river of my life
I shall run I shall flow
I live I know what I am within me
I am free! I am free!

the German hotel
the German hotel was very strange and expensive and had
double doors to the rooms, very thick doors, and it over-
looked the park and the vasser tern and in the mornings
it was usually too late for breakfast and the maids
would be everywhere changing sheets and bringing in
towels, but you never saw any hotel guests, only the
maids and the desk man and the day desk man was all
right because we were sober during the day but we had
trouble with the night man who was some sort of snob
and not very good with getting the corkscrews and ice
and wine glasses up to us and he was always phoning to
say the other guests objected to our noise.
what other guests?
I always told him that everything was very quiet,
nothing was going on, that somebody must be crazy, so
will you please stop ringing?
but he kept ringing, he became almost like a
companion to us through the night.
but the day man was very nice, he always had little
messages of importance that either meant money, or a
good friend coming to see us, or both.
we stayed at the hotel twice during our trip to
Europe and each time we checked out the day clerk
bowed ever so slightly, he was tall and well-dressed
and pleasant and he said each time: "it was nice to
have you with us. please come here again if you return."
"thank you," we said, "thank you."
it's our favorite hotel and if I ever get rich I am
going to buy it and fire the night clerk and there will
be enough ice cubes and corkscrews for everybody.

No emotional secure ground....So stop there
and happy valentine

but, what your butt is doing
there watching out for the FBI....
with a PHD....are you....

OR ON TOP OF YOU....
YOU WANT ME
TO CHOOSE....ONE OF YOUR NIPPLE
I MEAN DOUBLE IDENTITY NIPPLE....
AK you in valentine day....with a red American heart neck
filled with russian blue vodka...
if you are the boss.
i mean the boss...of the FBI....inch square by inch square and
all the undeclared possessions....
i hope
like obama
in this valentine day
that you are a

Our Arrival
our arrival is greeted by the wagging of a tail
and the jumping of a dog long denied
of company.
our arrival is the opening of the windows
the winds come
and once again kiss the furniture
and the room shows once more
the luster of an almost forgotten
fullness
our arrival shall keep the blankets
warm again
it shall unlock the bolts and shall
once more open a closed door
our arrival shall give us the sounds
of faucets
the flushing of an old water
inside the bowl long silenced by the
kind of absence that
sometimes want a revival of newer
perspectives
our arrival is a reconstruction of ourselves
for once again
we shall make the questions open
and then, if you only know, the meaning of things
that grow again, like seeds, these, all of these
shall make an arrival interesting....

A Room At The Heartbreak Hotel
From where I stand
I can see thrugh you
From where youre sitting, pretty one
I know it got to you
I see the stars in your eyes
You want the truth, but you need the lies
Like judy garland, like valentino
You give your life for rock n roll
Uh huh
Stand, were on a landslide of love
You got everything you want
But what you need you give away
For primitive love
And a ride on the mistery train
A primitive love
A room at the heart...
The heartbreak hotel
A room at the heartbreak
Heartbreak hotel
A room at the heartbreak
Heartbreak hotel
You say its love, its not the money
You let them suck your life out like honey
Turning tricks, youre on the street
Selling your kisses so bittersweet
[gospel voices]
A primitive love
A and a ride on the mistery train
A primitive love
A room at the heart
The heartbreak hotel
A room at the heartbreak, the heartbreak,
The heartbreak hotel, hotel
[repeat until end]

Revolving Doors
I forget where I've been going
As I enter the tall building
Through the glassy revolving doors.
In circles, I spin, not knowing
What the other side's withholding
Through the glassy revolving doors.
The human traffic keeps flowing
Around frames of glossy gilding
Through the glassy revolving doors.
Yet somehow I end up nowhere.
I'm never close getting there
Through the glassy revolving doors.

Assad Visits Homs
Those who love their own noise are impatient of everything else. … Our noise, our business, our purposes, and all our fatuous statements about our purposes, our business, and our noise: these are the illusion.
Thomas Merton.
He came to visit today
with cameras firmly fixed
on his perfect
hair.
He came with his selected throng
to acknowledge their
devotion
as he surveyed his
demolition.
Those old buildings were such a blight,
rabid rats, full of the noise
of rebellious children,
but now, city leveled, he can see
how beautiful it all will be.
Bright new buildings soon will rise,
and scrape death from the acrid sky;
and everything will be
first rate!
….but just out of al Jazeera's frame
black smoke pours over
Baba Amr;
incinerated hopes;
dark stain.
