Rich Vs Poor

If you think the rich will ever give a damn about the poor,
You're asleep on the tracks and don't hear that locomotive roar.
They own the train rushing your way as you sleep on their tracks.
You dream of a play world as they steal your neighborhood shacks.

Politicians who should represent you are at their beck and call.
It's about money plus power and your needs or rights not at all.
In this uncertain country one thing is certain. They'll never relent...
The rich won't be satisfied until they have their greedy 100%!

The Very Thing That Makes You Rich

My father told me, lying on his bed of death,
"boy," he says, "woman she's gonna make it, don't fool your self
'cause she's got something to make a man lay that money, uh, right in her hand
And the very thing that makes her rich will make you poor
The very thing that makes her rich will make you poor"
That's right!
Well, i put you behind the wheel of a deuce and a quarter, yes i did
Had you living like a rich man's daughter, yes i did, i sure did
While you were living high on the hog
You had me down here scuffling like a dog
Well, the very thing that makes you rich makes me poor
The very thing that makes you rich makes me poor
Don't you never ever make such a bad mistake
You know i'd rather climb into bed with a rattlesnake
Then to work hard every day bringing that woman all my pay
The very thing that makes you rich makes me poor,
Makes me so damn poor
The thing that makes her rich makes me poor
The very thing that makes you rich make me poor
Very thing that makes you rich makes me poor
Makes me so damned poor
Money won't change it, no no...

Gazing suicides

I thought of dying today
Gazing down to the train track below
So shiny and black.

I heard the tracks calling me to join them below.
I heard them say if you want to jump
Then jump go on just jump.

I though I'd chuck myself away
Thought I'd fall below
To the train tracks underneath.

I thought it through and through.
With nothing else left to do
I let the train tracks call me below.

I ve sufferd enough in this evil world
Theres to much evil that lurks.
The world is a sain place for some.
It wasnt for me
I lived a life full of pain.

Things got to much
So I listened to the tracks below me
I knew it made sense for me.

I took the plunge
And I jumped down to the tracks below me
As I fall
I will die below

Things are meant for some
And this was meant for me
The train tracks told me so

Poor Folks Town

The work is hard and the hours are long
The money aint much but we get along
Were rich in things can give
That cant be bought with a dollar bill
So, come on down
Have a look around
Rich folks livin in a poor folks town
We got no money but were rich in love
Thats one thing that weve got a-plenty of
So come on down have a look around
At rich folks livin in a poor folks town
We got no carpets on the floor
Weve got wall to wall love
Who could ask for more
We got no big fine things to show
Just a place to watch our children grow
We got no big fine fancy car to drive
And no fancy clothes to keep in style
What weve got were payin on
But its mostly love that were livin on
So, come on down
Have a look around
Rich folks livin in a poor folks town
We got no money but were rich in love
Thats one thing that weve got a-plenty of
So come on down have a look around
At rich folks livin in a poor folks town
Weve got a little simple church nearby
And the promise of a mansion in the sky
A heart of gold a million dollar smile
And a one way ticket to paradise
So, come on down
Have a look around
Rich folks livin in a poor folks town
We got no money but were rich in love
Thats one thing that weve got a-plenty of
So come on down have a look around
At rich folks livin in a poor folks town
So, come on down
Have a look around
Rich folks livin in a poor folks town
We got no money but were rich in love
Thats one thing that weve got a-plenty of
So come on down have a look around
At rich folks livin in a poor folks town

How much money do you need to be happy?

How much money do you need to be happy?
Poor man
How much money should you have to be happy?
Greedy man
How much money do you want to be happy?
Thrifty man
How many men would you corrupt to have money?
Gentleman
How many people would you kill to get money?
Coward man
How many children would you exploit to make money?
Hungry man
How many laws would you break to be rich?
Dishonest man
How many illegal ways would you use to be wealthy?
Weak man
How many lies would you tell to gather money?
Sick man
How many friends would you betray to get money?
Thirsty man
How much damage would you cause to make money?
Blind man
How much power do you need to be proud?
Mad man
How much power do you need to lead the crowd?
Bad man
How much power do you require to kick the world?
Ugly man
How much power do you need to be satisfied?
Selfish man
How much power do you need to be happy?
Sad man
How much hate do you want to be famous?
Wrong man
How much hate do you need to stop massacres?

How much sorrow do you want to love the other?
Fool man
How much misery do-you want to be happy?

Eliminate Congress

Are you freaking kidding, me
A free bailout, to the rich and greedy
So to hell with, the poor and needy

A credit debauchle
From your pockets and mine
While the super rich
Steal and spend
When, oh lord will all this madness
Come to an end

Never I say
This greed from high end business, politicians
Will never go away
This message from a simple man, a janitor
Depressed again
Another day

Howling At The Moon

Sha-la-la-la sha-la-la-la-la-la sha-la-la-la-la-la
Ships are docking planes are landing
A never ending supply
No more narco no more gangster
Conservatives can cry
I took the law and threw it away
'cause there's nothing wrong it's just for play
There's no law, no law any more
I want to steal from the rich and give to the poor
Sha-la-la-la sha-la-la-la-la-la
Sha-la-la-la sha-la-la-la-la-la
It was glowing, glowing, glowing, glowing in the dark
It was sparkling, sparkling, sparkling, sparkling in the dark
I took the law and threw it away
'cause there's nothing wrong it's just for play
There's no law, no law any more
I want to steal from the rich and give to the poor
Winter turns to summer sadness turns to fun
Keep the faith, baby you broke the rules and won
Sha-la-la-la sha-la-la-la-la-la
Sha-la-la-la sha-la-la-la-la-la
Keep it glowing, glowing, glowing
I'm not hurting any one keep it glowing, smoking, glowing
I'm howling at the moon
I took the law and threw it away
'cause there's nothing wrong it's just for play
There's no law, no law any more
I want to steal from the rich and give to the poor
Oh baby oh baby oh baby oh baby
I took the law and threw it away
'cause there's nothing wrong it's just for play
I'm smoking, baby
I'm smoking, oh baby
There's no law, no law any more
I want to steal from the rich and give to the poor

Rich In Our Own World

We are rich in our own world
and far richer than you think,
we are rich love and caring
from our family and friends.
We are rich in what we give
our wisdom and our laughter
that we share with everyone.
We are rich for all sorts of reasons
and none of them includes money.
If you think, you are poor,
forget it and think again.
Think of all the things you have
and you will be surprised to find
you are far richer than you think.
You are rich in your own world
with everything you have
and they are far richer than
anything money can bring.

Money, Money

I work all night, I work all day, to pay the bills I have to pay
Ain't it sad
And still there never seems to be a single penny left for me
That's too bad
In my dreams I have a plan
If I got me a wealthy man
I wouldn't have to work at all, I'd fool around and have a ball...
Money, money, money
Must be funny
In the rich man's world
Money, money, money
Always sunny
In the rich man's world
Aha-ahaaa
All the things I could do
If I had a little money
It's a rich man's world
A man like that is hard to find but I can't get him off my mind
Ain't it sad
And if he happens to be free I bet he wouldn't fancy me
That's too bad
So I must leave, I'll have to go
To Las Vegas or Monaco
And win a fortune in a game, my life will never be the same...
Money, money, money
Must be funny
In the rich man's world
Money, money, money
Always sunny
In the rich man's world
Aha-ahaaa
All the things I could do
If I had a little money
It's a rich man's world
Money, money, money

War in America

In this sad country there will be a bitter war,
Not from foreign peoples who would attack us,
But between our very rich and hopeless poor.

There’ll be death and destruction as the war rages,
While wealthy choke the waning middle class.
As history repeats the tragic Dark Middle Ages.

When the middle class has only bitterness and hate,
Opportunities for peace will then be too late.
When they realize that the rich will never yield,
They’ll take their hopes and causes to the battle field.

The rich will have the best arms that money can buy.
The power of the poor will be in their angry numbers
And their desire to effect changes in their lots or die.

Man can go to the moon, create an internet, cure cancer.
But put rich politicians with no conscience in a room;
They’ll languish and war in America will be the answer.

All Across The Nation

Somewhere in the city
Theres a struggle going on
Someones making money
Someones doing wrong
Everybody searching for a little piece of gold
(power play? )(fix a face? ) never grow old
Its a shame
Whos gonna take control?
Its a game they play
Whos gonna save your soul?
And theyre never gonna stop
Till they reach the top
All across the nation
Fever takes control
Money is temptation
Money saves your soul
One thing I can tell you
Of this there is no doubt
The rich man needs his comfort
And the poor man does without
Everybody loves somebody
All around the world
But everybody knows
Its the rich man gets the girl
-chorus-
Look at all the little people
(cowering? ) from the rain
Standing at the bus stop
Dreaming bout spain
Here comes the rich man
Driving his car
When he was poor he was sure
He was gonna go far
-repeat chorus to fade-

Gazing suicide

I went to the train tracks.
I sat on the bridge above.
My life has beaten me.

As I looked down below me.
I saw the tracks before my eyes.
So shiny and black.

My troubles.
My hurt.
And years of pain.
They had gotten the better of me.
It all became clear and I knew what I had to do.

I had to join the train tracks below me
I had to die

If i were a rich biatch!

If i was rich,
i'd buy lots of things,
glitzy bits,
and diamond rings,
there would be,
no money rashings,
i'd have to follow,
the trendy fashions,
i'd eat out in expensive places,
and you would still see,
the same old wasters,
if i were rich,
i'd have no money worries,
i would get down to the shops in a hurry,
but i'm not rich,
and i never will be,
i work hard for my money,
and that is me!

poor or rich?
i can't choose which,
but i will never be a rich biatch! !

Stop Dead

Stop!
Stop!
Stop dead,
Stop stop stop stop stop stop
I pulled up at a west end junction (seeker of attention)
A full body kit and bass bins pumping (size up competition)
Come on red light, get into green,
I hit the brake, I must be dreaming..
Im stop! (stop), dead! (dead), in my tracks (in my tracks)
Got to fix on you.
Dont wanna loose you, from my sight
Where ya going to?
Gotta know now..
Stop! (stop), dead! (dead), in my tracks (in my tracks)
Got to fix on you.
Dont wanna loose, you from my sight
Where ya going to?
Oh-oh-oh
Ive got my eyes on the action (killer reputation)
Heat crazed in full satisfaction (become a phaser? )
Do what you do and do it to me,
Body in motion, now you see me
(chorus)
Gotta know know.. stop!
Come on now, come on now
Come on now, come on now
Wise up to remain young victim (come on, ways of attraction)
A full scale attack on the system (come on, no one visor? )
Do what you do and do it to me,
Im into red line territory
And im..
(chorus)
Stop!, dead in my tracks again,
Im stop dead in my tracks
Stop!, in my tracks (yeah)
Im stop dead in my tracks
(oh-oh) gotta know know..
Stop! (stop), dead! (dead), in my tracks (in my tracks)
Stop! (stop), dead! (dead), in my tracks (in my tracks)
Stop! (stop), dead! (dead), in my tracks (in my tracks)

Bailout My Soul

My soul, is now empty
I know not, what to think
of this demise from, the rich and greedy
Shame on you all, forgettin' the poor and needy

The human spirit will still, soar on through
Although the poor are forgotten
oh my, thats' me and you

It's not that your poor
with your money machines
printing what ceo's need
more of the green

For we are in a worldy mess
never were poor mentioned
as Dylan once spoke
this so called rich American society
is but a joke

Our Riches

We came onto this earth and we met money!
But we will die one day and leave it all;
Because i have never seen a rich person being buried with his or her money!

Our riches of this world,
The rich are not even buried with their best car! !
So if we are rich today,
Let us use it wisely to help the poor around us;
Because we will all die one day without the riches following us.

The poor will always be around us,
So it is better to gain heaven than hell!
And it is better to love one another than hate,
For we cannot be buried with all our riches!
And it is better to give than to receive.

Money

When I had money, money, O!
I knew no joy till I went poor;
For many a false man as a friend
Came knocking all day at my door.
Then felt I like a child that holds
A trumpet that he must not blow
Because a man is dead; I dared
Not speak to let this false world know.
Much have I thought of life, and seen
How poor men’s hearts are ever light;
And how their wives do hum like bees
About their work from morn till night.
So, when I hear these poor ones laugh,
And see the rich ones coldly frown—
Poor men, think I, need not go up
So much as rich men should come down.
When I had money, money, O!
My many friends proved all untrue;
But now I have no money, O!
My friends are real, though very few.

Thr Railroad Tracks

Who lived across the railroad tracks?
A few of us whites, but mostly blacks.
These railroad tracks without even knowing
separated my town and kept it growing
into a segregated place.

I used to listen for the sound of the train.
As it rolled on by, it would never remain.
It just kept rolling to where it was going.
The engineer waved. The smoke kept blowing
into a segregated place.

Even when the trains stopped the rolling
the tracks will still there. They were controlling
the thinking of the people in our town.
So they kept the tracks there, never tore them down
in our segregated place.

Some were on the right side of the tracks, you see.
Some were on the wrong side of the tracks, like me.
They never took the tracks down from 60 years ago.
And the town I grew up in doesn't want to know
it's a segregated place.

Tax

Tax is for the welfare of the masses
That’s why more tax should levied
Upon the rich than the poor
In such a manner
So that a desired balance is maintained.

There should be no filthy rich
In a poor country
So the government should impose tax
On this people couple of times more
Than the ordinary rich.

Education tax, poverty elimination tax
And tax to rehabilitate the beggars
Can be imposed on the very rich.

The government must go for moderate tax
For the poor people
And they should not slaughter the hen
That lays egg of gold.

The Muslims should give tax properly
Since it is obligatory for them
So in a Muslim country
The government should highlight this
In order to increase revenue.

Id Rather Be Rich

Id rather be rich, it sounds a little funny;
If diggin a ditch would earn me lots of money,
Id dig like a fool in the land of milk and honey;
Where everythings cool, provided you have money, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Id rather be rich, just short of being greedy;
Im eager to switch, to hell with being needy.
Id rather be rich, the truth of cash is tragic,
The systems a bitch, but money works like magic, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Money makes the world go round;
Buy and sell it by the pound;
Bitter truth that I have found:
Food to eat, shoes on your feet,
Maybe some heat, you live with defeat.
Bridge:
Money gets you justice, money sets you free,
Money makes it possible to be or not to be.
Money is the power, money is the key,
Sad and so unfortunate, but real as it can be, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Id rather be rich, than what the other choice is;
My thumb out to hitch, or riding in rolls royces;
cause I aint no fool in the land of milk and honey;
Where everythings cool until you lose your money.
