Trembling,
squinting out
into the night
silence awaits
fresh air
peace of mind
the forgotten hour
I step out
taking my first

too preoccupied

pervading darkness swallowed bit by bit
When suddenly
from out of the stillness of night's shadows
accumulates the Orange's vast basket of Eternity
(fallen fruits of divinity's forgotten birth right)
Noiseless
imperturbable
quietude
stretching my arms
in attempt to hold
this fleeting tranquility
Hour of vast stillness
with a child's wide eyed
christmas anticipation
stretched out supine
in the moist morning
dew of the lawn
awaiting
the arrival of dawn
raw-meat-drumsticks
my hairy human legs
providing a nice civil
breakfast for the
manically starved
mosquitoes
any moment now that first crack
of new day yolk will come oozing
over the iron blue eastern sky line skillet

lost amongst the inky vegetation
treetop cicadas lone note hum
a single sound stretching
onward and skybound

laptops closed

Walking through a dream coverlet
so why covet sleep?
No need to force eyelids shut
all close in proper fitting time
But if if gravity be tuggin your blinds
no need to fight it!

Early rising neighbors concerned with their commute?

As I wake up in a room somewhere...
Dawn light not yet showing.
Theres just a thin horizon between me and her...
The edge of a half-dream glowing.
Well, you know, I felt her in my dream last night.
Strange how the sheets are warm beside me.
Now, how do I catch the waking edge?
As it slips to the far and wide of me.
Didnt I try to hold it down?

TO break the stillness of the hour
There is no sound, no voice, no stir;
Only the croak of frogs,—the whirr
