Self's Solitray Cell - Not Life Sentencing
Foolish of me Dear Sister
from my life I feel
I nearly let your presence pass
Though one day we must let go
from all we embrace in this life
forever loving while remaining unattached
Dear brother I feel I let you down
those times I often ran my mouth
allowing ego to dictate half of
what I say and write
Please believe this phase I've passed
my words still playing catch up
with my life's current act
For creative emotive spark
so often I've dipped into
the dark dissonant ink well of my past.
The need to mature beyond mere words
and self perception manipulation
In order for the umbilical chord of
true growth to take hold
feed manna nourishment to the soul
of the ego must let go
Must not allow mind to falter under
all the hard bound volumes of faulty imaginings
never lose the sense of one toiling
distinction's day to day material assembly line
nasty habits will die with effort applied
sentences habitually begun with I
I me my mine
cancerous self generated
mutative pronouns
eating away at the healthy body of mind
I have visions of daily births
sin's syringe puncturing pure skin
toxic individual
identification inoculation
keeping the cosmos regenerative
life force chained to the earth
luckily the tangible escape route has been laid out before us
knowing the solitary cell of self not to be life sentencing

Oh, My Dear Life! (Old Familiar Feelings)
OH Life! , tell me what to obtain:
Is there bliss in material?
Or joy in worldly attachment?
Where to begin my search, OH Life!
Is there dormant peace detachment?
OH! Life, tell me what to obtain?
What wisdom in silence of mouth?
What profound silence passed through time?
Tell me lust or love? flesh or seed?
Power, prowess, mansion and cars?
OH! Life, tell me how to obtain
eternal pure heart and peace of mind
Can one grasp the totality?
Can it all be had in one grab?
or is just you, oh my dear LIFE!
Oh! dear Life, YOU ARE ALL I ask.

Written In Stone
I'm gonna take you down to the riverside
Where the water runs slow and wide
There's a big ole rock out in the middle
And I took my hammer and chisel
And worked all night so you could see
Just how much you mean to me
I carved your name right next to mine
And it'll be there till the end of time
And my love will last at least that long
It's written in stone how I feel for you
It's written in stone what I want to do
Spend my life and life hereafter loving you
And darling if we live to be 100
Or if we don't make it half that long
I want you to know how I feel for you
Is written in stone
There's a place on the edge of town
When I was a kid I found
Two names on a stone together
Lying side by side forever
And it was then and there I knew
If I ever thought a love was true
I'd surely want to write it down
On something that would be around
When all the spoken words have come and gone
It's written in stone how I feel for you
It's written in stone what I want to do
Spend my life and life hereafter loving you
And darling if we live to be 100
Or if we don't make it half that long
I want you to know what I feel for you
Is written in stone
And when this life has come and gone
Our love will still be
Written in stone how I feel for you
Written in stone what I want to do
Spend my life and life hereafter loving you
And darling if we live to be 100
Or if we don't make it half that long
I want you to know how I feel for you
Is written in stone

Poetry? ! What do I know? ?
Someone unknown stirs the mind
Kneads the thoughts; knits fine rows
Of words and runs my numb hand
He is my invisible tow
Of feel and emotive discord
A good friend and a bad foe
Playing with my passion-world
As if keeping up my vows
Of countless past births’ damp load
To His edicts I kowtow
Offering Him, His own words

Three Little Words
Three little words
mean the whole world
to me…
Every moment,
Every year,
Every day of my life,
Every breath that I take
Those three little words
Keep me alive…
I say it to you
I’ve said it before
I feel for you
With all my heart…
Those three little words
Are so dear to me
You know and I know
Those three little words,
For you’ve said it to me
And have felt for me
Without a care
In this world…
Those three little words
Mean a lot to you
And Indeed
Are very precious to me…
So let’s Celebrate
This Valentine’s Day
Just as we cherish
Every day
Of our togetherness
And remain in love
forever more…
Holding ourselves
In a loving embrace
Caring, feeling,
Expressing…
Those three little words
From you to me
And me to you…
Yes, it is true
My Love
And here it goes,
Just the way
It has always been
Over the years…
And so I say it
To you, that
I Love You
I Love You,
I Love You.

I Fear My Own Silence
I FEAR MY OWN SILENCE
I fear my own silence
I fear the end in life in writing
Before my life has ended-
I force myself to go on
I feel my own inadequacy
I feel I am writing poor lines.
I sense it would make more sense to stop
I should stop
I can’t stop
I need to write
Even if my writing is only the scribbling of an amateur fool who has wasted his life in words and more words
I write this now in the darkness before the morning has begun
Will I walk to Shul this morning justified?
Or do I know these lines now too
More of the same self- indulgent nonsense
No one needs but myself?

My Lovely Sister
Is solace anywhere more comforting than in the arms of a sister
I read somewhere and I think to myself how fate was so kind
The experience I have had in the years of my life untold and unsaid
But I would like her to know she is always on my mind
A sister is a little bit of childhood that can never be lost
For I will lose all the luxuries and tranquility of life in time
I will not lose the warming comfort in your aura that reminds me
That I may lose the hope and dreams but my sister will always be mine
What's the good of news if you haven't a sister to share it?
And I have shared it all, the faults and mistakes that I have done
But one thing that remains unshared is the special bond between us
There would be no one except you in my heart, there would be none
How do people make it through life without a sister?
I wonder the pain left inside, I have pain on the inside too
But they are soothed by your presence and heavenly light
For I have to get out of darkness, there is no place but you
In the cookies of life, sisters are the chocolate chips
You have added sweetness in my life that is unending and blissful
We have shared some arguments, some fists, and some laughs
We have live the life but I haven't shared the love that is the glue
Through these words I hope the feel reaches you and you would know
I love you my sister but but I did not show.
Is solace anywhere more comforting than in the arms of a sister
I read somewhere and I think to myself how fate was so kind
The experience I have had in the years of my life untold and unsaid
But I would like her to know she is always on my mind

Happy Valentines Day
This poem is dedicated to my loving wife.
Our hearts adjoined some ages past
In the summertime of our lives.
Oh! How swiftly the time has passed
Yet your lasting beauty belies
Those years that etched your comely face.
But now we reached life’s wintertime
Together still with arms embraced
And kiss each favorite valentine
For all those loving grateful years.
Happy Valentines Day my love
You are the one I hold most dear.
At times I feel unworthy of
But this I say and know it’s true:
My life is nothing without you.

A Suicide Note
There’s nothing left up in my life,
Everything went wrong,
And I always cried,
Nobody ever loved me,
Nobody loves me,
Life now seems like a dark night,
I feel this right,
Now it’s time to write,
A Suicide Note…..
I want to die,
I’ll have to die,
My mind says this,
But heart asks why?
I answered my heart with a question,
What is worth living a life?
Where happiness was never seen as an emotion?
He said that
Your past was good,
Your past was bad,
But don’t recall the times,
Which make you sad,
There’s a very bright future
In front of you,
Where you can find many springs
And winter few,
But this can only happen if you give up to die,
And see a brighter side of your life…
I wasn’t satisfied
With what he said,
So I repeated,
That for me now, nobody cared,
He then stared me for a while,
And started to explain with a smile,
That,
Mon runs behind you to take your meal,
Dad suggest you to have control on wheels,
Friends are always with you,
Whatever the matter,
So, do you think if you die,
Their life will be better?
But I shouted No!
Nobody loves me,
I never hurted anyone
But everybody hurts me…
He said that don’t act childish,
You know you are lying,
Listening to his words,
I started crying,
But he continued to say that,
Haven’t you given you mom,
The hardest pain ever when you were born,
Haven’t you hurted your dad,
By spending his money to throw a party,
Which he had saved to buy you a watch,
So that his son may learn punctuality…
But they didn’t cry,
And tried to die,
But instead always smiled,
As you were in their life,
So my dear friend,
Try to understand,
If you tried to stop your breath,
You’ll be the reason for many deaths,
Your mom, dad, sister and brother,
Love you more than any other,
I realized that I was wrong,
And this life is a journey,
Very long,
You may get lost in your way,
Or miss some turns some time,
But be patient as everything,
One day, will be fine,
I wanted to write a suicide not,
But ended up writing this simple thought,
It’s hard to live but even harder to die,
So respect the most special gift of Lord,
This Beautiful Life!

Not Afraid
You born with double senses
Use it less cant pass life borders
Close your ears filter the noise
Open your eyes load this vision
Zip your mouth, speak with mind
Reveal your soul push spirit out
People can say you cant
In other words they said they just cant
But if u think u can, break word of cant
But If you choose 'Can't', you never 'can'
Cause you know what u can
Close your ears
Listen no noise
But your voice
Future is your choice
They make you feel low
They not stand high either
They love to see you feel low
Need you place them higher
Open your eyes
This life is your vision
Remember to remember
You are master in your life
No shadow shaped of others
Don't speak unless you brave
Or you prefer to show weakness
Don't only proud speak loud when fight
Talk with no mind is talking useless
Use all your senses, each priceless
Prove you are precious not worthless
Life is our mission
Be clear of your vision
Listen all your mind
follow your heart
You nothing less
Always precious
nothing to hide
Proud of self-pride
Choose who you wanna be
A shadow who follow your body
Or a body without soul and mind
Or mind with nasty fears of anything
Or mind with sanity and confidence
to carry a body every single move
So the shadow got something to follow
...Still working :)

D ear readers,
I dont write this to make people be stubborn
i never write this to grow egoism in you readers..
I do, write this to remind you what you can
who you are, could be anything but precious,
Your identity is not artificial just special
so come out what you can bring dont shy
Break all rules of 'cant' if u try to get what you want
Fearless is not only for write but to real fight!
This write is more to about the senses
Your eyes love to capture beauty not ugly
Your ears hate bad sound not euphony
Your skin pleased to nice touch not pinch
Your tongue prefer tasty not trashy
but do we forget these senses more than that
The can see, listen, taste and feel deeper
It soul bring flavors, taste life brighter
Cause u never lower but great people!
Never late for new start; -)

My kin, my brother
Hello brother, my kin,
my morning star,
my protector of
my single life,
be wise and take that wife,
for she will hold you dear.
My kin, my brother,
my radiant soldier
of my ancestors grace,
be filled with love
and walk on high,
bring forth young spirits
for your lineage sake.
My brother, my kin,
my shoulder of strength,
where tears have fallen
and etched your skin,
be bold and brave
cause days will come
where life may change
and depth of spirit
may wane and falter,
have faith like the ones
who have passed before
and hail the triumph
with songs of life
and songs of peace.
My kin, my brother,
my morning star,
my protector of
my single life.

At Valentine, Forever and Even After Now
My love, my life; my wife, my dear valentine
I feel my heartbeat as I write you this lines
My stars above, my blue skies, my valentine
My soul is merged in yours knowing you're mine
At Valentine, forever and even after now
Let's hold on tight, strongly to the night
And make it stay forever with all our might
For Valentine comes again but after a long while
So as I drive home tonight through the miles
The thoughts of you'll fill my heart somehow
My love, my life; my wife, my dear valentine
As long as there's moonlight and the sunshine
We'll always be not only on the fourteenth of February
'Cos your beautiful face reminiscent of a lovely memory
Wins my love at Valentine, forever and even after now

my brother PJ
My brother my life, my soul, my blood. A love between a sister and a brother is far beyond any. My brother a creation of God and the unexplainable mysters of his work. My brother was molded by the tender guiding hands, love and sprit of our divine Lord above.
My brother was given life a soul body and mind. This great myster of life that was created is slowly weathering away with the poision, That Doctors call cancer. He is my brother a young man of 34 who has to fight for the life that was giving. With a smile on my face to hide the pain, and Our great Lord in my heart i think God for one more day that my brother is able to see. Though are hearts my break and we may question one of lifes greats mysteries just remember God will not give you anything that you are unable to handle, Have faith and let him guid your heart. he will never let you falter. Thank you thank God for you my; brother

Inadequate Words For Thank You
I know the words I'd like to say to you...
to give thanks for all that you've done.
But each time I try to say the words...
they escape me as fast as they come.
How could I ever thank you enough?
It's because of you I now feel whole.
You encouraged me to find my strength...
so I could embrace the depths of my soul.
You've taught me so many lessons for life...
you made me believe I deserved to be first.
You forced me to test my broken wings...
and hugged me when I was at my worse.
You paint the world a colorful rainbow...
It's because of you I now can dream.
You never gave up on who you knew I was...
knowing I was not the person I seemed.
Could there ever be adequate words of thanks...
for being there with me when times were tough?
Everything that I feel I want to say to you...
doesn't quit measure up to being enough.
How could I possibly just say thanks?
Thanks for being there through all my tears.
Thanks for ten thousand little things you've done...
and for putting up with me over the years?
Thanks for changing with me as I changed...
and for NOT accepting some of my flaws.
Thanks for not loving me because you had to...
but still loving me...'just because'.
A million thanks for never giving up on me...
though I know you've been at wits end.
Thanks for always being honest to me, about me...
but mostly thanks for truly being my friend.

The Radiance Of Pure Being
In the light of another sun
much brighter than this one
there no darkness is ever seen
as the mind of thought is clean.
When the ladder is climbed to that domain
what any go there with except love is vain.
Everything else may or can exist below
which is only what this light does show.
There is the Radiance of Pure Being
the like of which few are ever seeing.
A very rare experience by actual sight is had
as the mind is bewildered but the soul is glad.
Intellect and reason have been left behind
as all else except to that light one is blind.
Intuition or direct perception is the means
whereby the mind at its own source gleans.
Any limitations and divisions there don’t exist
only the effulgence of True Light does persist.
Though we receive light and warmth from the stars, moon and sun
all the light in the universe put together can’t ever equal That One.
Could it be That from which all of existence flows
as time and space by mind’s true reflection shows
and whatever seen here is the becoming of That which forever is;
in tangible finite shape or form a manifestation of The Infinite is?
The Radiance of Pure Being is also the essence of everyone’s soul
and so is seen after self effort and grace have performed their role.
To live through all of our days in life and be ignorant of That Light
isn’t what any of us have been born for in this world or given sight.

This poem relates to an experience vouchsafed to me while staying in the ashram of Swami Muktananda Paramahansa back in 1978. It was almost 20 years after that time the words or inspiration came to write about it.

Curse The Fate
CURSE THE FATE
Curse the fate
As right away I knew
It’s forever too late
On the very first sight
I wanted to hold him back
Knowing it’s not right
This need to see you
Gives me the strength
To daily continue
Though we never kissed
Just your nearness
And I feel blessed
Curse the fate
As I met him
Many years too late
Heart is full of ache
Body and soul reaching out
This longing isn’t faked
Can’t get you out of my mind
After a solemn embrace
My teary eyes get blind
Daily life on and out
For sure this is true
I’ll never get over you
Curse the fate
As right away I knew
It’s forever too late

To my loving Mum on her 86th Birthday
God bless you Mummy dear on your birthday!
And may He grant you some more years on earth;
You did so well, better than most earthlings;
You were our one, most loving, caring mum!
You did your chores despite life’s short-comings;
You opened doors to every child in life;
You mothered us well, proved a goodly wife;
You were our one, most loving, caring mum!
You were so great, Mother of mine indeed;
You consoled us and caressed us in feed;
You taught us things which books and teachers can’t;
You were our one, most loving, caring mum!
May be, you felt you could have done better;
May be, you felt you were unkind at times;
May be, you thought you could have erred lesser;
You were our one, most loving, caring Mum!
And now old-aged, with wearied frame you stay;
You want to live and yet, it isn’t easy;
God grant you strength of body, mind and soul,
And pass your remnant days in divine role.
You need not fear as old-age brings its fears;
You don’t worry as your century nears;
You be happy with kith and kin and dears;
Our life’s carriage, God adeptly well steers!
So cheer up mum, God has a plan for you;
Your prayers have ensured your heaven’s seat;
Hence, keep your cool; rest God will surely do;
You life was one of SUCCESS, NOT defeat!

She and Drugs
Freshly spawned,
Brain dumps
Bleeding grey:
Reflections of a mind
That wavers thin
Along the line
That savours pain -
A pond of skin
Devoid of breast -
The pad a feign:
The nothing
Underneath your bra
At best
Is your imagination
Spread across a narcoleptic world
Suchlike survival
In and out
Of haunted woods;
In and out -
You're in and out
As blood transfused -
Pumping on
To ooze at pace
Upon another haemorrhage
And there! a goblin
Here! a goblin
Care to entertain a goblin
In the lair
That is a mind
Of drugs? -
We know it's you -
It's you we know.
We know you're through.

As
As around the sun the earth knows shes revolving
And the rosebuds know to bloom in early may
Just as hate knows loves the cure
You can rest your mind assure
That Ill be loving you always
As now cant reveal the mistery of tomorrow
But in passing will grow older every day
Just as all is born is new
Do you know what I say is true
That Ill be loving you always
Until the rainbow burns the stars out in the sky
Always
Until the ocean covers every mountain high
Always
Until the dolphin flies and parrots live at sea
Always
Until we dream of life and life becomes a dream
Did you know that true love asks for nothing
Her acceptance is the way we pay
Did you know that life has given love a guarantee
To last through forever and another day
Just as time knew to move on since the beginning
And the seasons know exactly when to change
Just as kindness knows no shame
Know through all your joy and pain
That Ill be loving you always
As today I know Im living but tomorrow
Could make me the past but that I mustnt fear
For Ill know deep in my mind
The love of me Ive left behind
Cause Ill be loving you always
Until the day is night and night becomes the day
Always
Until the trees and sea just up and fly away
Always
Until the day that 8x8x8 is 4
Always
Until the day that is the day that are no more
Did you know youre loved by somebody?
Until the day the earth starts turning right to left
Always
Until the earth just for the sun denies itself
Ill loving you forever
Until dear mother nature says her work is through
Always
Until the day that you are me and I am you

We all know sometimes lifes hates and troubles
Can make you wish you were born in another time and space
But you can bet your life times that and twice its double
That God knew exactly where he wanted you to be placed
So make sure when you say youre in it but not of it
Youre not helping to make this earth a place sometimes called hell
Change your words into truths and then change that truth into love
And maybe our childrens grandchildren
And their great-great grandchildren will tell
Ill be loving you
Until the rainbow burns the stars out in the sky
Loving you
Until the ocean covers every mountain high
Loving you
Until the dolphin flies and parrots live at sea
Loving you
Until we dream of life and life becomes a dream
Be loving you
Until the day is night and night becomes the day
Loving you
Until the trees and seas up, up and fly away
Loving you
Until the day that 8x8x8x8 is 4
Loving you
Until the day that is the day that are no more
Loving you
Until the day the earth starts turning right to left
Be loving you
Until the earth just for the sun denies itself
Loving you
Until dear mother nature says her work is through
Loving you
Until the day that you are me and I am you
Now aint that loving you
Until the rainbow burns the stars out in the sky
Aint that loving you
Until the ocean covers every mountain high
And Ive got to say always

Awakening The Senses
Coming to my senses
I see the lovely being of space and time!
Beautiful the whole and each inner individual design!
I hear the breathtaking echo of song!
Billions of bells ringing sound truth!
I feel the shifting sway
cosmic vibrations
true selves emerging
releasing themselves
to the beat of a new dance!
See the many Sentient compassionate pillars
revolving towers of consciousness
daily lighting anew
Steady waves of illumination cast upon the earth!
I taste the full flavor of the air and every
mouth through which it has passed!
I smell home cooked redolence!
the world a wide oven of open arm
ardent embrace!
I Taste the age old recipe passed down
shared and spread
conscious manna delivered fresh
from the celestial kitchen!
I feel the shared recognition
unifying presence
see the common dawn of the divine ideal!
I see and feel the love exchanged
via internet connections
kindred spirits all corners of the globe!
I see it too everyday in the smallest transactions
waiting in line at the corner convenience store!
I see the discovery of resplendent new senses!
Far advanced beyond any modern body of perception!
I see a future great with promise!
Beyond convention superstition
past calendars and presuppositions!
