Magic In Her Mind

silent studies
time spent alone
questions open ended
spanning out across eternity
inquisitive eyes deciphering
quizzical cryptology
tip toeing around
the event horizon
batting eye lashes
on the brink of a black hole
flirting with oblivion
fashionable balms
conceal minor mirror insecurities
she bargains with herself
bartering youth on behalf of a dream
ambitions surpassing the confines
of her single bedroom apartment
beauty beckons brilliance
inside a moment awakens
clarity trumpets inspiration
the battling ceases
at ease becoming one with herself
she breathes in peace
braving death daily
she refuses to recoil
at the face of fear
she does not hide from
the hideous realities
known only to her is
the whispered identity
the wind unwraps riddles in her ear
her belief in natured assured
she rides waves of blind faith
dolphins carry her ashore
magic in her mind
she mingles with mermaids
she waltzes and dines in
walt disney's gold-vaulted ballroom

By the Sea

In a hammock by the sea
As I lay there under a tree
The waves flow with tender ease
As the wind blows through the trees
Ocean waves a calming sound
So serene and tranquil it is found
An endless ocean it may seem
Where eyes meet the horizon, is like a dream
And along the horizon, clouds do part
As the artist sketches a perfect art
Deep blue water and the tides go by
The ships that sail and sea-gulls fly
The dolphins dance to the morning light
The flying fish just caught my sight
The divers dive to the coral reef
In search of pearls, they must keep
The mermaids dip and dance along
Under the moonlight, as they sing a song
The sight so pleasant to the eye
As they rock me to a lullaby.

Death...

In the darkness alone I sit and wait,
All that is around me I do not see.
A chilling wind blows across my soul,
Empty eyes fill with oceans of tears.
Kneeling down to stand up falling,
I filter through my hopes and dreams.
A motionless marathon of thought,
For we are all death living life daily.
Baptised in darkness, rested and reborn,
Our dreams and realities intertwined.
Death beckons through the quiet night,
A never ending infinite journey through time.
There's no dignity in death no rhyme or reason,
Yet death comes for us all without prejudice.
To fear death is to invite it to consume you,
So live each day to laugh in deaths unknown face...

Spread the dreams... The peace will follow...

Grandads Secret Love

The Pendulum of time is like the Pendulum of love,
Anchored in the being that is you
Your makeup tears hide the fading belle,
who once danced down the Champs -elysees
But I too dwell on the past, for time has vandalised my youth too,

My mind no longer curious for what lies on the other side of the hill
Like a tree abused by the countless storms, now forgotten
I still stand; face on, to weather life’s misfortunes

Vows that I have taken, died long ago,
Along with my faith
For god and I no longer speak, a shallow life I have led
My ambitions entwined in the garden and walks in the park
I thought that time would make love fade, as does the beauty of youth

But when I saw you drenched in mornings sunlight
Smelling the blossom on ball gown bushes,
For a brief moment you were young once again

I caught your eye, and memories flooded back
A strange romantic notion caught me
Like a bird who has spent his life in a cage
Suddenly freed, yet this cage I fear to abandon
But silent love is noble, and though it has taken a life time to know
I understand, why the lover cares not for fates demise

For I have spent my life lingering in the darkness between the stars
But now I can look beyond our age for we are two well worn shoes
Comfortable and secretly loved

We are silent lovers, who have spent a life time together,
Living in our dreams and thoughts, speaking
Different silences,
Which say all that is needed to know?
For our souls will always listen and our hearts will always be in love.
And only you and I will know

O My Mirror

Beauty and Beloved: more said the better
Is it a need or an ecstasy? It is the latter.
At times it is a delightful soul enchanter
Like pliable raindrops on a silver platter.

Is it photographer, mirror or a painter?
Colorful blooms besides flowing water.
Rather an image I see with closed eyes
A hallucination of soul takes close byes.

You are the veil and you are the life
Murmuring songs just like my wife.
Is Eternity gazing at itself or at you?
Now Eternity in the mirror is only you.

The Buddhas, the Rumies and the sages
Illuminate ways of opulence with compassion.
The art of endurance near greed and excess
Is sure to polish the mirror, you can profess.

The mirror of the mind is your face
Eyes looking down discreet are base.
Don't be ashamed to look at yourself,
Fervently ask forgiveness for yourself.

Beloved show me that hideous part
That is despised, before I too depart.
Enlightened Seer pray helps the blind
Or I am swept off by a speeding wind.

An undisturbed psyche for me may be
As in quite waters I undistorted see.
For finding my faults I use a mirror;
People use telescopes to examine me.

Folks use books to enlighten themselves
Proudly to exhibit their decorate shelves.
Someone explains them what are they
Mirror on each wall in a blind man's cell.

Another name for Mirror is reflection
Eternity is the last of your expectation.
Human understanding is counterfeit
Distorting, discoloring your thoughts.

O my Mirror.

In God's Horizon

it is in God's horizon that all are equal, regardless, of faith, sex, religion, race, even in our decision of where to end our lives our belief, has always been there to reminds the, thirsts of our soul, to a dream of dreams and a hope against hope, that this journey is worth to
live by

the immortal of soul is the only key we hold,   to reach what is life everlasting, what we are today is not what we will bring us in life after death, it is our heart, our faith, our being one, our genuineness of belief, that would leads us to the beginning of life

the trust in our soul, woven with forgiveness, weaken God's wrath, that the harmony of a sinner and the giver of life, all things will be judged accordingly, in God's mercy, witness by our very own soul, when time has come to an end, death is certain and life final direction is on the horizon, be sure that in the moment of silence, whisper your soul that, in your heart

..... ' your happy in the company of angels singing hymn of praise with God of which you know Him '... in your soul and want to live through out Eternity.... in God's Horizon

A Disney Fan

I have to admit
I'm a Walt Disney fan
From the moment I watched
The little mermaid
He had me hook line and sinker

At first when my boy
Was just a toddler
I use to embellish the joy
Of buying Disney movies

Then when he grew out of those
I had to make excuses of my own
And often told rose colored lies
About how still he loved
The Disney films

Little did the adults know?
They were my own
Escape from reality
But I still loved to watch
A Disney film

So no longer will I hide
And blame it on my poor son
I am and will ever be
A Disney Fan

A Poets Era

They whispered as thunder clapped
and the rain fell
the bird hid as they songs
were awfully silent
nothing was said as the
television remained silent
the creatures stayed and stared
as the all stayed mouth open
pen to paper he wrote

the night were cold
and day brutal
sleep cometh not to these
eyes as my hand shake
retired from it all
fell sick as i stand tall
had to come back
said it was my last
but the mind of a poet
just refuse to quit
inspiration ran through
my veins as my body ache
the books took dust
but they story they tell
now pen to paper i see
when i write people listen
and through that peace evolves
so pen to paper its glad to say

In the dawn of my day
and the silence of the night
a poet time is never ended
cause in death our tale still tells
so my time is an era to be told
so here i go

Faith in Belief - Coping Strategy

Must have faith or what else is left?
Lack of faith, sorrow bereft
Belief in a God, nature, galactic deities
Even atheistic belief gives some amenities

Belief in self to succeed
The need to daily feed
Belief in love, seeking to thrive
Faith in thriving to stay alive

Those with no faith to look forward to
Stranded, without a helping clue
Grasp a belief enabling you to cope
One that brings fulfillment with hope

Faith in music unbound
Open ears to the acoustic sound
Sweet rhythms renowned
Belief that art opens the way
Creative devotion bless the day

For some, blind faith is better than none
Others may curse their belief, ready to abscond
Seek a belief peaceful, considerate
Avoid following the fanatical illiterate

The three C’s of hardiness agility
Commitment, Control, Creative ability
Deliver strong sustainability

Belief in Joy and Happiness, treasured gold
Warm goodness and kindness never cold
Resolve persistent griefs
With faith in positive beliefs

Divided We Stand

Morphed by fear, a mask to wear
But all must carry on
Desperate fights for the final light
The last straw to be drawn
Disbelieve or contribute
Revaluate your soul
A radical way to live
That undivides our rules
Open up your eyes and see the mirror of your life. Hunted every moment by the
phantoms in the night
Bow down ,time has been tolled
Rise now ,to remain
The chains of dawn will reveal
The truth and what to come
Systematized synchronized
Life is on the hold
Faith by night a shallow light
Our innocence will guide
And silent saved from decay
We rearrange our ways
Open up your eye and see the
mirror of your life
Hunted every moment by the
phantoms in the night
Bow down ,time has been tolled
Rise now ,to remain

Eternity

I was born on the banks of eternity
A page of the history it teaches
Not a care, lived my life like a hurricane
Leaving everything along the way in pieces
Some may have cheered, some may have wondered
If I am flesh, if I am stone
Thoughts of you tear through me like thunder
You are the light that has led me back home
Take me to the river, baby
Wash away the lies
Ive got no reputation living in your eyes
Take me to eternity
Let me bury this disguise
A southern boy has it harder sometimes
Its like you were climbing a razor
You were there when my dreams had all turned to dust
And the man in the mirror was a stranger
Look at me now, a soulless survivor
No mask can hide the man that Ive made
You ease my pain
Your make it silent
Slowly I feel it beginning to fade
I want to feel it
Rushing over me into the tide
I want to taste it
Every moment til the end of my life
I have laid still, adrift in you memory
Hoping your faith would erase all the years
Maybe some time, maybe some magic
Maybe your love will make everything clear
Take me to the river, baby
Wash away the lies
Ive got no reputation living in your eyes
Take me to eternity
Let me bury this disguise
Take me to the river, baby
Wash away the lies
There are no expectations hiding in your eyes
Take me to eternity
And let me bury this disguise

Epiphany

EPIPHANY
Looking outside I could only see the darkness approach
Looking into my life I could see my own reproach
So I thought by looking into her eyes I would see what I had
For in a moment it would all be lost.
Gone in a second, tossed away, laid to down like the dust on dry lands

I looked to my side one more time
I looked in to her eyes for the very last time.
All I wanted was to see was the beauty inside.
Life was her name, a gift I had
Life was her name, a jewel I took for granted
And there she was flashing before my eyes

I looked into my life and I saw a monster inside
With a gander, I saw the emptiness inside
A sea so great, a cup full to the brim, full of nothing but sweet delights
Delighted in a moment but never satisfied
Delights I deemed the light, pleasures that assured me treasures
But at the end of it all, just another foggy night
So misguided by another mirage in sight

I thought I was safe because I kept running
Running away from the pain and insecurities
I thought I was secure because I felt unassailable
Unassailable because every bottle I popped whispered me hope and every woman on my lap reassured me a magnate
I thought I was untroubled because I was able to grapple
Grapple onto shattered dreams, my own jigsaw that I kept in a box

They told me YOLO, guess I did it well
Lived each moment to the fullest, the best this world to offer
But still my life had no meaning; even the mirror called me a hopeless endeavour.
If this was my last what would be left of my legacy
Empty bottles? Blurry nights? Pretty women under covers?
Surely there had to be more to life
Wish I had seen a life worth living and dying for.

Unknown Legend

She used to work in a diner
Never saw a woman look finer
I used to order just to watch her float across the floor
She grew up in a small town
Never put her roots down
Daddy always kept movin, so she did too.
Somewhere on a desert highway
She rides a harley-davidson
Her long blonde hair flyin in the wind
Shes been runnin half her life
The chrome and steel she rides
Collidin with the very air she breathes
The air she breathes.
You know it aint easy
You got to hold on
She was an unknown legend in her time
Now shes dressin two kids
Lookin for a magic kiss
She gets the far-away look in her eyes.
Somewhere on a desert highway
She rides a harley-davidson
Her long blonde hair flyin in the wind
Shes been runnin half her life
The chrome and steel she rides
Collidin with the very air she breathes
The air she breathes.

By The Ocean (For Dislocated Heart)

I stand by the ocean,
Breathing in the crisp air of night fall,
Watching the moon slipping away,
As the sky melts into the sea;
An endless darkness.
I can feel my mind falling into its depths,
Thinking about every breath I take,
About the world above,
And the world below.
Questions fill my mind,
Questions of life, living, and existence,
Yet still I stand,
Silent and still.
The gentle breeze in the palm trees,
Brushing my hair across my face.
The wind pushes my dress against my legs,
The feeling almost mimicking that of the water.
I can feel the cool spray of the ocean with each wave,
A giant lung breathing the same air as I.
It is a calm entity existing to exist.
A world so unknown and full of wonder,
Yet so simple from above…
I breath a sigh and close my eyes,
The sight of the waves imprinted on my eyelids,
The scent filling my nose and mouth,
The water touching my skin,
The taste of the salt on my tongue,
The repetitive sound of the water endlessly fill my mind.
My feet buried in sand as if to be innocent sand crabs.
A moment so calm and simple,
Yet so meaningful,
If you take the time to experience it,
A moment in which nothing else matters,
Nothing but the water, the sand, and living.
Everything else, like the sky,
Melts away into the sea,
Into the endless dark abyss.
And so I stand,
By the water,
Living and breathing.
If only the world would stop for a moment,
A moment to live and breathe too;
So relaxing and yet so eye opening.
The silence of the night wrapping around me,
The ocean rocking me into sweet oblivion.
Until I have to open my eyes and walk inside,
Back to reality,
But until then,
I'll just stand here,
By the ocean.

Such Sweet Belief

A wonderful life, serving his fellow-man
the only fear of old age is death seen as
non-being until resurrection at the end of
time to face his loving God – such sweet
belief led to amazing accomplishment, he
is to be commended

He never allowed an Arthur Findlay to
influence him, never checked the British
Occult Society or Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
on continuous awareness after death, nor
allowed reports of the reincarnated to
distract him from now events

All he fears is non-existence until he awakens
in heaven – however much I admire his life, I
cannot pay the same price: closing my eyes
to all contrary evidence in single-minded de-
votion to duty; for me the magic of quantum
physics and magnetic energy

Is too wonderful to be ignored for religious
peace of mind and serving the temporary;
I love enduring ideas of eternal conscious-
ness much more than fleeting imagery -
yet I am glad people’s happiness is in
the hands of believers like him…

With The Face

With the face goes a mirror
As with the mind a world.
Likeness tells the doubting eye
That strangeness is not strange.
At an early hour and knowledge
Identity not yet familiar
Looks back upon itself from later,
And seems itself.

To-day seems now.
With reality-to-be goes time.
With the mind goes a world.
Wit the heart goes a weather.
With the face goes a mirror
As with the body a fear.
Young self goes staring to the wall
Where dumb futurity speaks calm,
And between then and then
Forebeing grows of age.

The mirror mixes with the eye.
Soon will it be the very eye.
Soon will the eye that was
The very mirror be.
Death, the final image, will shine
Transparently not otherwise
Than as the dark sun described
With such faint brightnesses.

Beautiful Bashful Eyes

Big beautiful bashful eyes
with lashes oh so long
I love your beautiful bashful eyes.
They remind me of a song.,
a song to describe their color
and their lids that are half closed.
They never let me see behind them.
What they're feeling is never exposed.

Big beautiful bashful eyes
are lost in timid intent.
I wish for them to open wide
to see where they have spent
their shy-retiring gazes?
Were they ever looking my way?
Or were they lost in silent thought
afraid that they might stray

And find that all around you
eyes would be looking your way?
My eyes would be among them
and you would hear me say.
'Big beautiful bashful eyes
with lashes oh so long
you've captivated my attention
and are now the words to my song.

'Beautiful eyes, bashful and blue
my thoughts are lost in you.
Your lashes long, your lids dreamy-eyed,
no one can tell what secrets they hide.
I have secrets my eyes hide too.
They're all about my feelings for you.
Those bashful eyes have become for me
everything that I dreamed they would be.'

Silence Is Golden

With midnight gone, the soldier prayed...
No sign of self-control.
For war was here and faith had strayed
And he was in a hole.
Alone in battle like a lamb,
That's lost as lost can be,
The soldier sought the great I AM
And Christ and Calvary...
He had this fear, this mortal dread,
This heightened sense of death.
This time, he needed Christ who bled...
Jesus of Nazareth...
The soldier held his rifle tight
And listened to each sound
And yet he prayed, with all his might,
For angels all around.
By faith, he claimed them for his own,
Assured that they were near.
For suddely, his faith had grown,
No longer did he fear.
The rifle rested gently now,
No longer gripped so hard.
The soldier wiped his fevered brow,
Now angels were on guard...
The enemy were everywhere...
They searched and yet he stayed.
He sensed that God had time to spare...
Why should he be dismayed?
The enemy advanced no more,
For God had other plans.
It didn't matter, peace or war...
This world He daily scans.
'This far, no further shall they go.
This far, then to retreat.'
For God is always in the know,
Thanks to His Mercy Seat.
God's Throne is where our prayers ascend.
Where He alone is Judge.
Where God alone, the Christian's friend,
Stays firm and shall not budge.
He may seem silent as the grave,
When Death stalks all about,
But God is always strong to save
And enemies to rout...

My Question

I can see my reflection
In my bedroom mirror-
My pupils are spinning madly about -never abating-
In the dimness of the light I have always believed that
I am being persecuted-
Death fear plagues me everyday- dreams I had as a child,
Deadly as a snake
Constricting my wrist-
Life is such a mystery, and
Death is even more mysterious-
People following me close behind and
I am being watched-
Others have said it is my imagination-
Others blame it on the moon-
This morning I was running
Running from all that I fear-
Just ordinary people to others, while to me-
Menacing and threatening-
I just keep running until
I am home, the doors locked and chained and
I am alone at peace with
The voices speaking to me inside of my mind-and
I can see my reflection in my bedroom mirror-
My pupils spinning about-
Will my thoughts ever silence?
Life is a mystery to me and perhaps more to others-
Others who watch me- day in and day out-
I can still see my reflection wherever I go-
The light gets dimmer and I find myself in the midst of the darkness, although
In the confinement of my home- so I am now at peace-
Even in bleak darkness because I am alone-
Inside the world of my thoughts I am running-
Running away from my reflection until the day I die and
While death is a mystery, one never knows when it shall happen-
I continue my solitary walk towards home- and in utmost reality-
Nobody- really knows where their home truly resides-
At the same time I question where reality resides.
