Paddling My Own Canoe
I need somebody to pick up the phone,
I'm in such pain and suffering alone,
It's an s.o.s. from across the pond,
Don't think about answering, just respond.
I feel cast adrift with no sign of land,
'Neath ripcurls of sadness, at their command,
So launch the lifeboat with skipper and crew,
For in such a tempest, armbands won't do.
I've tried my damnest to weather this storm,
Pursuing this dream in it's contorted form,
Hauling around some dutibound anchor,
Swallowing whole my internal rancor.
But rescue's not llikely, it's sink or swim,
Sorry to tell you, the forecast is grim.

Answering Machine
We flew here to see you
My feelings and I
I looked down on the city
From up in the sky
The sun was reflecting
From the roofs and the water
Spring had come early
In the parks and the old town
I came with a mission
To patch up a dream
We walked and I talked and my words were absorbed
Into the answering machine
I came two thousand miles
Just to take a look at you
But you were broken and frozen
A heartbreak of a statue
In the bullet-proof mirrors
Where your eyes used to be
I stared at myself and I called for some help
Into the answering machine
The day slipped by and I tried and tried
You took me home and you said
"Goodnight, Sleep tight"
On the floor by the bedroom door
I watched you sleep and I left before first light
The bugs don't bite
The bugs don't bite
The bugs bite
From the land of the frozen
To the land of the low
We journeyed together
But we were always alone
So if I should come calling
Best not pick up the phone
Cause I'm no good for you and you're no good for me
Let me talk to the answering machine
I can cope with the answering machine
I'm a friend of the answering machine

Dream Somehow
Come to the rescue now
Come to the rescue and stay for a little while
Come to the burning house
All of the ladybugs children are screaming fire
Come to the rescue now
Chorus
Tomorrow may change--tomorrow may change
Or it may never come
Tomorrow may change--tomorrow may change
But it may never come
Turn around--turn around--turn around--what do you see
Come to the rescue now
Come to the rescue before all our worlds collide
Life is a dream somehow
Life is speck of dust lodged in gods eye
Life is a dream somehow
Come to the rescue now
Come with a mission and come with a broken heart
Life is a dream somehow
Life is a dream and our lives are a world apart
Come to the rescue now
Chorus
Come to the rescue
Life is a dream somehow
Life is a nightmare and life is a bitter pill
(life is a dream somehow)
Life is a disneyland ride which is better still
Come to the rescue now
Life is a drowning pool
Life is a circus for fools just like you and me
Life is a mortal coil
Wrapped in cheap tin foil on a kitchen sink
Come to the rescue now
Chorus
Dreams somehow, come to the rescue now . . .

Welcome
To dance to spin
To feel within
To spin around
With wind and ground
To touch to heal
And to reveal
To muse to think
To swim and sink
To sink and swim again
Until there's no more pain
To chant to draw
To draft some more
To paint the body
Out of nobody
To write a spirit
Unwritten seal it
To sit and eat again and again
Until there's no more pain
To make it all a lifelong sum
Welcome

Shipwrecked
When at Crete a gentle south wind began to blow
We weighed anchor deciding it was time to go
But a wind began to blow of hurricane force
A 'Northeaster' sprang up and blew us way off course
Then giving way to the strong wind we sailed along
And we passed ropes under the ship to make it strong
But because we feared the ship would soon run aground
We cast overboard the cargo that could be found
No sun or stars shone during any night or day
And the storm just kept raging on to our dismay
So awful was the great tempest that we had braved
We had given up hope of ever being saved
After fourteen nights in the Adriatic Sea
We took soundings to find out where the land could be
And measuring fifteen fathoms began to fear
That we'd be dashed against the rocks and disappear
So four anchors were dropped as we all prayed for day
But some of the sailors began to sneak away
They were lowering the lifeboat into the sea
But the soldiers slashed the ropes to let it go free
Then an angel appeared to me during the night
And told me that all those on board would be alright
That no-one would lose even a hair from their head
So we all gave thanks together and broke some bread
All two hundred and seventy six ate their fill
And threw the rest of the grain overboard until
At dawn daylight came to everyone's delight
And we were so relieved to see land in our sight
But when sailing to the shore a sandbank was struck
And to our great dismay we became firmly stuck
Cutting loose the anchors which sank into the sea
But the bow was wedged firm and could not be worked free
'Let us kill all the prisoners' the soldiers said
Praise God the centurion did not want me dead
So those that could swim were told to jump overboard
All the rest floated ashore on pieces of wood
Crew and passengers made it safely to the shore
And were so thankful to be safe on land once more
So log fires were lit and we were soon warmed and dried
Everyone had been saved and none had died
Jonah
Jonah was God’s special prophet;
One stormy day a whale he met.
He had run far, far, far away,
From where he was to be that day.
He had went on a old tough ship
That was now by big waves whipped
But he was tired as the storm broke
And went and snuggled in his cloak
So down in the old ship he slept
While the others on the ship wept
Captain came down him to awake
Call on your god for your own sake
They would cast lots to see just why
The gods wanted them all to die
Up on the deck they cast the lot
Who’s fault was it for what they got?
Then on Jonah the lot did fall
And then and there he told them all
He told them why all was not well
He cried Throw me in the sea swell
So up and out they threw him in
And all at once the storm did dim
But in the sea Jonah did swim
And a fish came swallowing him
In a big fish three days and nights
So dark, slimy, and with no light
So deep down in there he did pray
That God would pardon his wrong way
That fish spat him on the dry land
Onto the soft, hot desert sand
To Nineveh he quickly went
To now do just as God had sent

Cast Adrift
Within the heartfelt sadness,
my ship sails across a barren sea
towards no island of love for me.
Cast adrift to an empty place
where the broken-hearted go
on a sea made of tears
where no one wants to go.
My days are spent in remorse
for things said and done.
Thinking back I realise
I should have done something
before the worst begun.
Now I am cast adrift to an empty place
where the broken-hearted go.
Once I sailed among the stars
on loves golden wings,
felt the sun smile on my face,
touching heaven with my fingertips
before my world caved in.
You left me for another
and cast me adrift to an empty place
where the broken-hearted go.

Storm
I saw a storm last night.
It was surrounding and uplifting the earth.
I saw it frightening the land and its crops.
It seemed that the land was allowing it (the storm) to make a huge cavern.
I know, this is its nature.
I know, it palpitates our hearts.
But I want to tell you something friends ….
Who could visualize the storm causing pain inside my mind and my soul?
Only my friendly and undetached feelings can reach to it.
I could be released if it (the storm ruling inside my heart) would be wash out by last night's storm.
Then, I could feel a fresh frenzy touch
Slowly and sensuously ceasing blood.
But don't worry, friends.
I am not a rough.
I can feel the blindness in love.
Though I am suffering to live in a disgusting port,
but I still have a hope.
My emotion takes me sometimes out of control.
That's why, I call it storm.

Mr. Torture
Welcome to the torture chamber
said the sign above the entrance
laughinh as it taked you by the hand
Looking as i maniac savage
inside you can sense the anguish
theatre of pain has just begun
Mr.Torture gives pain
with his whips and his chains
he knows just what you crave
Mr. Torture
If youre feeling alone
then just pick up your phone
dial 18 double 0 Mr. Torture
Mr. Torture sells pain
Only sixty sents a minute
for his special brand of singing
phone guaranteed to blow your mind
You can catch him on a website
has a live chat every weeknight
cyber-torture soon coming your way
Mr Torture sells pain
to the houswives in Spain
he knows just what you crave
Mr Torture
If youre feeling alone
then just pick up your phone
dial 18 double 0 Mr. Torture
Mr Torture sells pain
Handcaffed,bounded,chained and blinded
body, soul and mind ignated
every sense is torn and ripped apart
Hes been banned in twenty countries
though he does it for money
he gets pleasure by hearing you scream
Mr. Torture gives pain
with his whips and his chaines
he knows just what you crave Mr. Torture
If youre feelin alone
then just pick up your phone

The Song of the Ungirt Runners
We swing ungirded hips,
And lightened are our eyes,
The rain is on our lips,
We do not run for prize.
We know not whom we trust
Nor whitherward we fare,
But we run because we must
Through the great wide air.
The waters of the seas
Are troubled as by storm.
The tempest strips the trees
And does not leave them warm.
Does the tearing tempest pause?
Do the tree-tops ask it why?
So we run without a cause
'Neath the big bare sky.
The rain is on our lips,
We do not run for prize.
But the storm the water whips
And the wave howls to the skies.
The winds arise and strike it
And scatter it like sand,
And we run because we like it
Through the broad bright land.

Kabul Weather Forecast
Weather Forecast in Kabul.
Rain in Kabul, the weather woman on TV said.
and I wondered if that was a good or bad thing.
Slippery roads and confused drones, what do
I know? Perhaps the rain is just what the poppy
fields need right now. Weather forecast on T. V
is pure entertainment, all respectable channels
have a person with a map who looks confident
when trying to predict the tomorrow. Danish
bomber pilots listen to weather forecast too,
will there be sun over Libya? Kaddafi hasn’t any
more planes left, we are now bombing his tanks.
No-fly –zone? I didn’t know tanks could fly. Rain
in Chad, that’s sad, they like Kaddafi he has been
helpful to this poor country. Never mind all that
he’s a despot and so says all of us.

Anchor in my life! !
Anchor in my life
Sink in my soul
Flow with my rythm
Feel me the sunshine V beautiful
this lonliness is so gud
Making me crazy
Striving for another struggle of life
Twistd in crise
kool n hot
Went to hell
Things were mine
World was mine
Taken a nap to night fall
Anchor in my life
Sink in my soul
Flow with my rythm
Anchor in my life
Sink in my soul
Flow with my rythm
Feel me the sunshine V beautiful

Orphaned Land - The Storm Still Rages Inside
The rain keeps on falling
Filling the dried land
It drinks the purity of life
(The) land starts to grow
It must be a sign
A message from God's hand
Like tears from the sky
Water begins its flow
Left alone, deserted so long ago
The storm still rages inside
Before the dawn rises I cannot see the light
This land's ground grows weak
Shall we find the path ?
The preacher's words were right
I can't see anyway to (the outer world)
Tears do flow, yet can't conceal
This land is barren, it does not feel
Our self-made slaughter
By our own hands
Here lies the orphaned land...
Suddenly lightning strikes the earth
It marks the sign of my rebirth
Seeds of love from myself evolve
This cannot be living - without (your) safety
The storm still rages inside...
Invisible rays penetrate the ground
This land to die is surely bound
Suffer but doesn't scream
Can this be a hopeless dream ?

Cry
Cry alone
Cry together
Cry with me
Where ever you be
Don't worry about the weather
Pick up the phone
We will cry
Cry for hate
Cry for love
Cry for pain
It don't matter how late
Its raining
Above
So cry

Let Her Go Down
Sometime in October
we sailed from England's shore
When we sailed into a raging storm
like I never ever seen before
And all of the crew they were brave men
but the captain he was braver
and he said
"Never mind the ship me boys
There's none of us here can save her"
Let her go down Swim for your lives
Swim for your children swim for your wives
Let her go down Let her go down
Lost in the open ocean
there was some of the crew and me
while the captain steered our wounded ship
to the bottom of an angry sea
And with his dying breath
we all heard him say
"It's just the fortune of sailor"
and he said
"Never mind the ship me boys
There's none of us here can save her"
chorus
He wondered if his shipmates
were ready to just pray and give in
so he called their names out one by one
but there was no one else around but him
He saw the ship go down the fading light
and he knew that they could have saved her
He said
"The captain lied when the captain cried
'There's none of us here can save her' "
chorus
Swim for your lives
Swim for your children swim for your wives
Let her go down Let her go down
Swim for your lives

Souls Together
Lonely as the wind i reach
Like a falling climber for you
Desperate pumping heart
Waiting to hit the ground
Without a sound
I scream inside and nobody hears
-But you.
Two souls as one i lay in the night
My gaze fixed on black
Where you once breathed close to me
Your eyes a beacon to my soul
A lifeboat in a deaperate sea
Where nobody sees me
-Please rescue me
Then you
You hear my thoughts still
And now as i wake from a dream
Sinking when you're not there
I feel your orgasmic touch
On my naked skin
To reassure me of the wonder of
fire lit memory
Of two people breathing love
That stars and oceans and tempest fierce
Could never quell
Two souls together
Where no word or deed could ever
Spoil their perfection.

When I Feel Your Pain
I FEEL YOUR PAIN
COMING THROUGH THE PHONE
I FEEL YOUR PAIN
WHEN YOUR HOME ALONE
I FEEL YOUR PAIN
WHAN I STARE
I FEEL YOUR PAIN AND I SHED A TEAR
WHEN I THINK OF WHAT YOUR GOING THROUGH
THE ONLY THING I CAN REALLY DO
IS LOOK YOU IN THE EYES AND SAY
YOU KNOW I'LL ALWAYS LOVE Y OU
I FEEL YOUR PAIN
DAY BY DAY
I FEEL YOUR PAIN
AND I SHED AWAY
I FEEL YOUR PAIN
MORE AND MORE
I FEEL YOUR PAIN
WHEN YOU WALK OUT THE DOOR
WHEN I THINK OF YOU AND ME
I FEEL YOU PAIN RUNNING THROUGH
ITS RUNNING THROUGH MY BODY SHARP AND DEEP
BUT I KNOW YOU CAN'T BE BEET
I FEEL YOUR PAIN
WHEN YOUR HOME ALONE
I FEEL YOUR PAIN
COMING THROUGH THE PHONE
I FEEL YOUR PAIN
WHEN I STARE
I FEEL YOUR PAIN
AND I SHED A TEAR

She said you can do anything you want.
She said you can be with anyone.
She said you can go anywhere you want
She said.
She said you can say anything you need.
She said you can be anywhere you feel.
She said just pick up the phone.

She said dont go dark on me again.

She said the silence in the silence

She said.
She said loophole how are you.
She said oh no once again the superstar.
She said he loves you but can you name me his children.
She said oh the God you lost again.
She said the colour of your boyfriend.
She said get out of bed. answer the phone.
She said in the belly of st pauls again.
She said goodyear rubber man.
She said Im smiling with the sun.
She said two years is a small price.
She said loophole. how are you.
She said once again the superstar.
She said look at the size of it.

Suicide (two)
Why he will go before going
Did he know he was coming?
If not, he has no right to go,
He will call him in nick time,
If yes, he is a terrific big liar,
Death will put him on fire.
Had he come of his own?
If not, who had sent him and why?
Before answering this, he can not die,
If life is such and such
He suffers too much,
Every one has or had to face
Suffering or pain is a test.
After every pain valuable wisdom gained,
Deeper the sadness sweeter the gladness,
Greater the adversaries more the advantages,
Coming and going are not a playing
Most and most a serious thing,
Even if, you have not the steering
But you have the duty to keep the ship running.
