Twenty One Of January..
Small distances emerge from binary trails
as dusk falls upon her and dim memory ails
an origami oracle and their life's dictum
was her life a riddle, or a memory's victim?
twenty one had closed up, a fortress braced
by thoughts, recitals, a cause, finger-traced,
a sole attempt to erase quests, embraced,
if only her life tangential, emerged to waste..
To dream a reason of celestial, bridal nods,
waited to adorn her advent's Sunday codes,
maybe to nicely caress whispered phrases,
that also waited to hint, and blushed blazes..
Twenty one will stand in front, a dissonance,
of earlier caressing dreams, an abundance,
her quiet quest is standing up in dark space,
as an eccentric lone caress, touches her face.
Dusk is a kind adviser, in a night train travel,
any impending atonement, subtly to unravel,
quests always demand an abstinence, a vow,
as souls their lives next, endanger and endow.

Good Clean Fun
Theres a smile on the wind as it touches my face
And starts to erase all the gloom
And the sun with a kiss, begins to dismiss the
Memory of my life without you
Well it seems like yesterday that my path took me away
Although I know its been at least a year
But now my path heads home
And your patient time alone
Has brought me even closer to you, dear
And this plane gets closer
Every minute I look down to a watch that keeps looking back at me
And it says to me, be patient son youve waited this long.
How can I be strong?
And this the plane gets closer
Every minute I look down to watch that keeps looking back at me
And it says to me, be patient son youve waited this long.
How can I be strong?
Well the plane is finally down
And the engines stopped their sound
And I look in the crowd and there you stand
And the gap that once was time
Is forever closed behind
I told you Id come back and here I am...

The Magic of the Breeze – 32 I used to travel by train
I used to travel by train
Previously too – The travel
At night, the distant lights
The stars in sky, hopeful dreams
The sound of thundering wheels
Singing a song to the rhythm
Of the beat of the heart of steel
The rush of the wind
Standing by the door
I used to think what means all this
The fury and sound, the very travel
The people I used to meet or travel with
No one has been able to erase the sadness
Or ease the pain I feel when traveling
I used to feel all alone by the door
And life speeding by towards the end.
I have enjoyed my travel too
In groups with friends now far apart
I remember days gone by never to come
But, however long the distance
I used to stand at least half the time.
With you I now sit and enjoy
It is no longer a pain
Before travel was business
Travel was necessary and unavoidable
It was an escape sometimes
Just the act of traveling – running away
But, I always had to come back
And face life alone, just alone.
Now, you have shown me
The other side of travel by train
The train is still the train
The people, crowd all are the same
But yet not the very same,
You and I, no one else I see
Time, with it all people, the crowd
Are frozen in time and none exists
Other than just the two of us
I myself am in a dream till the end
Drinking the air and feeling
The breeze and you fill each cell
I no longer think, I only wait
To feel the brush of your touch
And the kiss of the breeze!

When I Grow Up
When i grow up to be a man
Will i dig the same things that turn me on as a kid?
Will i look back and say that i wish i hadn't done what i did?
Will i joke around and still dig those sounds
When i grow up to be a man?
Will i look for the same things in a woman that i dig in a girl?
(fourteen fifteen)
Will i settle down fast or will i first wanna travel the world?
(sixteen seventeen)
Now i'm young and free, but how will it be
When i grow up to be a man?
Oooooo ooooooo oooooooo
Will my kids be proud or think their old man is really a square?
(eighteen nineteen)
When they're out having fun yeah, will i still wanna have my share?
(twenty twenty-one)
Will i love my wife for the rest of my life
When i grow up to be a man?
What will i be when i grow up to be a man?
(twenty-two twenty-three)
Won't last forever
(twenty-four twenty-five)
It's kind of sad
(twenty-six twenty-seven)
Won't last forever
(twenty-eight twenty-nine)
It's kind of sad
(thirty thirty-one)
Won't last forever
(thirty-two...)

Day Dreamer
Day Dreamer
By: Adam M. Snow
If dreams would end with life of all life,
would our dreams still suffer with strife?
Would the day dreamer still dream,
or is it all that it may seem?
Dreaming in a night, or in a day,
dreaming as it's all flown away.
Living a life as it use to be,
like branches of stars we see.
Is this but a dream within a dream,
to grasp the glistening moonlight beam?
From dawn to dusk, dusk to dawn,
dreaming of that day that is gone.
That day to which all dreams died,
with all fears and hope we feel inside.
Dreams that died will be born once more.
dreams freed beyond the open door.
If dreams live within all life,
will it one day be free of all strife?
To be in the vastness of one's dream,
and lit the way with a sparkle gleam.
To be with peace and fear surround,
to be the lost now is found.
If dreams would end with life of all life,
would our dreams still suffer with strife?

An Unfound Thought
Your thought is like sitting on a standing nail
as if my life is made all to fail
your memory is a curse in disguise
making me forget how much i am wise
your thoughts is like sitting on the edge
of a cliff that has no space for a wedge
your memory is linking my life with the hair
of the shaven heads of a gods fair
your every thought is like a rotten fruit
that lost its value and been a dude
your memory is a sweet revenge
of my vulnerable days that stand in adage
You were my soul, my sas, my special something
but now and ever you are just a bad memory and nothing...

Sweet Memory To Me
You are such a sweet memory to me...
How you showed me how beautiful life can be...
You serve as my sunset in my life...
You made me believe that there will be a brighter tomorrow...
You are like a leaf that is blown away by the wind..
You make feel so free....
You teach me to just let life blow me away whatever i do...
You are like the star that shines in the sky...
You are always there to help me reach my dreams...
You showed me what life can bring...
Now that you are gone
You are just a sweet memory to me..
A memory that can never be replace
A memory that can never be erase...

Let Life Know You Know It!
Let life know you know it!
If you don't life will not know you.
Take a stand and demand your dreams...
Come true.
They can!
And do!
Who knows better than you what you like?
What you wish...
When that star you see for you falls?
Every night before sleep takes you away...
Know your gifts will be received,
Before sunrise calls.
Introduce yourself each day,
With beliefs that you are blessed.
Remove discouragements from your mind,
And send them away from your doorstep!
Let life know you know it!
If you don't life will not know you.
Take a stand and demand your dreams...
Come true.
They can...
And do!

I Would Have Waited Forever
I would have waited forever -
For you to return into my life
I would have waited forever -
I would have given you everything I had
I would have waited forever -
Theres no question, no question at all
So true in the prize, would you wait for me?
All because you got burned, so you took what you needed.
Some will always turn away, say its reason enough;
Its another game of exploration.
Something calls at reverse and it comes to you;
Experience everything as it comes true.
So - it will be then
Change - it will happen
See - that we feel it
All - is completed.
Dont you want the world to stop short of giving?
Anytime of night or day, the magic things you love.
Everybody hurts when you shout, when you walk away;
Talk about it according to you.
I would have waited forever - for you to return into my life
I would have waited forever - to give you everything I had
I would have waited forever - theres no question about it at all
So in between the perfect flame of you,
This love will never let you down.
Just take it as it comes, for everything will come around.
You put your hand up: stop the flow of where youre going to;
Its another game called exploration.
How we imagine everything that we think were going through;
Its another reason to make the break.
Everyone will move with you now to the riverside;
Experience everything, but dont let the land slide...
I would have waited forever - for you to return into my life
I would have waited forever - to give you everything I had
I would have waited forever - no question in my body and soul
Forever...

Its Not Just Me
(jay demarcus/marcus hummon)
Tell me youve had trouble sleeping
That you toss and turn from side to side
That its my face youve been seeing
In your dreams at night
Tell me that you wake up crying
And youre not sure exactly why
Tell me that something is missing
In your life, in your life baby
Tell me that you live for love
That forever is never enough
That youve waited all your life to see
That you want so badly to believe
Tell me that its not just me
I could have sworn I saw you smile at me
Standing in the pouring rain
At a loss for words and running out of time
I said this crazy ting (crazy thing), I said
Tell me that you live for love
That forever is never enough
That youve waited all your life to see
That you want so badly to believe
Tell me that its not just me
Hold me now and tell me that you do believe
In a soul, a soul mate
And tell me, and tell me, tell me
Tell me that you live for love
That forever is never enough
That youve waited all your life to see
That you want so badly to believe
Tell me that its not just me

About Love I Had Been Very Naive
About love I had been very naive, believed like Visser,
tried to keep my life for you
as if it comes from the Creator’s hand from above,
saved my life for ten years for you
and I was prepared to suffer through it,
tried to keep my life for you
waited in my best years to have you,
time passed as if I was dreaming
and I was prepared to suffer through it,
and I tried to hold to integrity and was devout,
waited on you and you were far off,
time passed as if I was dreaming
while I believed that the same star was leading us
saw signs, things in your smallest gesture,
waited on you and you were far off
and now after twenty years we are standing in front of each other.
About love I had been very naive, believed like Visser
saw signs, things in your smallest gesture,
as if it comes from the Creator’s hand from above.

die liefde weergaloos;
en eenmaal in die gaarde blom

love without equal;
and once in the garden is flowering
perfectly a wondrous rose.”)

Guardian Angels
Guardians tread
In and out of our lives
They guide and protect
Souls lost in the dark
Should war demand
That we kill or fight
They are there
To give strength
And be brave
In our plight
Should shadows of darkness
Engulf the journey of life
They are there to help
To support and give light
They help carry burdens
As we struggle in life
Their our guardian angles
They give us new life
They sooth the prayers
Of family and friends
The sooth the nightmares
To make way for dreams
They are the….
Moonbeams that dance
Upon the sea, upon the land
They guide the stars
We gaze upon
They dance upon
The sunbeams of life
They whisper and smile
At our journey in life
Their voices caress
Sweet melodic songs
They gently blow
On the waves and the breeze
They reach out to guide
What's sacred in thee?
Our souls, our hearts
Our humanity

That Dusky Eve
When rain had gone and dusk had fallen,
When birds had roosted and their chirping stilled,
When sky had cleared and the lone clouds trailed,
You held me close and whispered in my ear.
Your voice, like a tremulous rivulet gurgled,
With passion sweet, you did chant,
“In your eyes I see, the blue of the sky,
In your soul, you hold the depth of the seas,
Love swells, like tides on rise,
My life, I vow, by Jove, never to part,
On this dimpled cheek, a kiss I plant,
A gesture warm with abiding love.
Crisscross lain as warp and weft,
We together shall weave the garb of life”.
Words that served as balm to the soul!
Still they echo, gushing a flurry of thoughts,
But alas! To a far unknown land you fled,
‘From whose bourn, no traveller returns’,
To be wooed by a thousand glimmering dames,
Who peep down from Heaven’s insurmountable heights.
My life has mouldered and mildew grown,
Where my Love! Whither have you gone?
Who bid you slink into deaths secret hide?
Why left me to languish in Love’s solitary bower?
Seasons roll and years glide,
‘At my back I always hear,
Time’s winged chariot hurrying near’.
Youth has withered and memory fails,
But in my mind is etched deep,
That beautiful dusk, we rambled free,
When the rain had gone and dusk had fallen,
When the sky had cleared and lone clouds trailed.
Along the winding paths we roamed,
Two hearts musing a single lay.
Down the alleys, betwixt moss grown walls,
With hopes galore and dreams anew,
On we walked to the edge of the world,
A pair of dots merging in infinite space.
When rain is gone and sky gets clear,
When night turns deeper and silence creeps,
I transverse back to that dusky eve,
To retrieve those moments, I sadly cherish!

And This Rain
You were so simple, on your old balcony,
adorned by white roses, yet down looking,
west's flame encircled in lyrics' euphony,
sea Nymphs' surround was a benign setting.
Your words will glow in my distant trip's links
maybe your reason to escape was false,
and an affection was left in the winds
among your crossed ethereal hands and pulse.
Our time was still, with eyes to gleam, conceived,
and was our company, phase to reckon,
maybe atonement was, a cause bereaved,
and our glances in mists remote beckon.
Caress of sun steppe flower on my face,
will alter a dull course to steady 'ffuse,
our bilged steadfast is in brines to encase,
a summer song of longing to bemuse.
My effort to repent, in winds ascribes
besets our trips on sea to faded strings,
a touch of solitude, and ghostly brides,
caress of Sunday want to face all winds.
............
Perchance you're bending soft on my scriptures,
maybe you left on trip in empty train,
while I recall in dark your kind features,
- we missed our dreamy summer and this rain.

Walnut Tree
Once there was a great storm
Pushed my head beneath the waves, I was gone
Underneath the walnut tree
Where you said you'd wait for me
And I waited a long, long time
I waited a long, long time
I waited a long, long time
I waited a long, long time
I waited a long, long time
Why, why do I come here?
Seeking out the memories I handed
Cause you put your spell on me
Made me live a memory
And I'm frozen in just the wrong time
I waited a long, long time
I waited a long, long time
I waited a long, long time
I waited a long, long time

To Quiet... To Hold On
Each life needs
It’s own quiet place
Each life needs
To savor joy’s taste
A place where time stops
But for a moment worry is gone
Each life needs to quiet...
To hold on
Floating with the grace
Of the resting fawn
Each life needs to quiet...
To go on
Each life needs
A quiet place where tears can dropp
Where life’s eddies of trouble
Spinning downward
To be changed into joy
Foaming joy, floats to the top
Expanding like bubbles
Beginning to pop
Each life needs to quiet...
To bring their best to the top
It’s where all thoughts come together
Making the connections
In my heart and mind
I travel to this place by reflection
In this quiet place letting go
Can cause tears quite a bit
But like a river
Joy flows right through it
(Inspired by the memory of a weekend stay at the Cascade River after returning from the service.)

Twenty Four Hours A Day
MUSIC BY BARRY MANILOW
LYRICS BY MARTY PANZER
I was gonna see the world one day
Maybe be a movie star
Or buy a quiet house, down by the bay
And write about the way things are
But the way things are right now
I can hardly write my name
And I've lost my taste for the wanderin' ways
For fortune and for fame
Darlin' all I want to do is be with you
Twenty four hours a day
All the other dreams I've had
Have faded away
Darlin' all I want to do is be with you
Twenty four hours a day
If you want to be with me
Then here's where I'll stay
I was gonna save the human race
Find my place in history
Or sail away one day far out in space
And live a life of mystery
But the mystery to me
Is the life I've lived before
And the place for me isn't history
It's with you forever more
Darlin' all I want to do is be with you
Twenty four hours a day
All the other dreams I've had
Have faded away
Darlin' all I want to do is be with you
Twenty four hours a day
If you want to be with me
Then here's where I'll stay

Dead Memory
Your memory no longer lingers through my life.
You were there once and now your gone.
Your memory has died like a rose when it is cut from the rest of the world.
Your torns no longer cut my heart.
My voice no longer whispers you name,
I no longer look for you in other people in other faces.
I no longer dream of you or wish that I see you once again.
My heart no longer cries or bleeds for you, not no more.
You no longer haunt my dreams or my memories.
I finally found someone that keeps me warm at night,
I finally found someone who has helped me erase your memory.
I no longer fall and stumble but I now walk tall.
Your memory was a weight that I carried through out time
that now I am free.
I can say that I no longer love you, for you are a dead memory
