Sacred Band II

Valor hails proud souls,
begotten from blue sky,
spirits amidst eagles fly,
advancing blade's calls.

War sanctuary receives,
Four Eons of sacrifice,
Styx throttles an excise,
steel Byzantine greaves.

Their wary eyes aggress,
odd souls to harbor life,
youth's conceived strife,
to glorious fight egress.

Hands tight on sword grip,
when valor starts to slay,
blood drops mix in clay,
as wrath of gods to drip.

Twilit earth last mound,
a Delphic omen, sullen,
avid fighters 've fallen,
killed on foreign ground.

Black dressed up maids,
for centuries don't cry,
in a quarry of labors try,
their agon never fades.

Byzantine knight

Swordsman on a holy mission,
his destiny is an infused road,
promising a transitional upload,
ahead to Acheronian contrition.

Triumphant is in armor wrought,
Byzantine knight of firm caste,
Catafractos, bullocky to waste,
a glorious life of death sought.

'With thine emblem victorious',
blade hammered in blue flames,
carved upon, ancestors names,
whose kill was as meritorious.

Elevates his arms to eagle form,
beneath the wall hordes assail,
when Helios appears far to sail,
killed barbarians in blade storm.

Crimson spilled paints his face,
strings dawn to dusk great kills,
immense pride, Her Honor feels,
the warrior shields in her grace;

Maria of God, blesses to suffice
well set his valor of noble soldier,
matter of dignity not to moulder,
amid Castle and Hades sacrifice.

His blade lifts, hordes to behead
from right to left, lowers cutting,
so drubs again, cross thrashing,
Hades waits their end to embed.

Making Our Father Proud

Within us,
Are the souls.

Within us...
Are the spirits we live.

We should clean up our acts,
And stop tarnishing our souls.
Treating them like our foes.

They have one of those too!
Like me and you.
Within us.

Within us,
Are emotions.
And some of us give them too much time!
Irritating them with self obsessed whines.
Yet others have no clue or notion...
Where to find theirs.
Or how to feel them when they're found.
If anything is there at all.

And we accuse someone else.
Anyone!
For not knowing who we are...
How we feel,
Or when we feel it!

Within us,
Are 'our' souls!
Ourselves we don't know.
Not from the soul!
There are too many of us,
Who do not show that we do...
Know within us,
Are 'our' souls!

We have chosen to make excuses!

Within us,
Are the spirits we live.
Shouldn't we be giving
Them good treatment?
And sharing that...
With our 'soul' brothers and sisters?
Making Our Father proud.

Poem: Passover Lamb

Give praise to the Passover Lamb,
the only begotten Son of the Great I Am.

For He willingly humbled Himself
and served as the propitiation for our sins;
His Truth will be revealed at Earth's end,
from having laid down His life as our Friend.

Give praise to the Passover Lamb,
the holy begotten Son of the Great I Am.

Our Lord made the ultimate sacrifice,
donating Himself as the World's sin offering.
Although temporarily buried in death's tomb,
He exited triumphantly from that cryptal womb.

Give praise to the Passover Lamb,
the eternal begotten Son of the Great I Am.

Today He sits at the right hand of the Father,
humbly interceding on our behalf daily!
Now is still the acceptable day of Salvation,
for He paid the cost for our soul's preservation.

Give praise to the Passover Lamb,
the blessed begotten Son of the Great I Am.

Entertaining thoughts of a spiritual breakthrough?
Know that it is not too late to save your soul.
For those who dare, Victory is available to everyone
that receives the sacred gift of the firstborn Son.

Give praise to the Passover Lamb,
the divine begotten Son of the Great I Am.

Oh, the Sight Entrancing

Oh, the sight entrancing,
When morning's beam is glancing
O'er files array'd
With helm and blade,
And plumes in the gay wind dancing!
When hearts are all high beating
And the trumpet's voice repeating
That song, whose breath
May lead to death,
But never to entreating.
Oh, the sight entrancing,
When morning's beam is glancing
O'er files array'd
With helm and blade,
And plumes in the gay wind dancing!

Yet, tis not helm or feather --
For ask yon despot, whether
His plumed bands
Could bring such hands
And hearts as ours together.
Leave pomps to those who need 'em --
Give man but heart and freedom,
And proud he braves
The gaudiest slaves
That crawl where monarchs lead 'em.
The sword may pierce the beaver,
Stonewalls in time may sever,
'Tis mind alone,
Worth steel and stone,
That keeps men free for ever.
Oh, that sight entrancing,
When the morning's beam is glancing,
O'er files array'd
With helm and blade,
And in Freedom's cause advancing!

Sanctuary

Out of the winter came a war horse of steel.
Ive never killed a woman before, but I know how it feels.
*chorus*:
I know youd have gone insane if you saw what I saw.
So now Ive got to look for sanctuary from the law.
So give me sanctuary from the law and Ill be alright.
Just give me sanctuary from the law and love me tonight, tonight.
I met up with a slinger last night to keep me alive.
He spends all his money on gambling and guns to survive.
*chorus*
I can laugh at the wind, I can howl at the rain.
Down in the canyon or out in the plain.
*chorus*

She rests her head upon Apollo’s shoulder

Our Luna Goddess moves
In slow rhythmic grooves
Proof of the tidings she keeps.
Though she may weep
Throughout the day
It’s only sure her appearance sleeps.

She rests her head upon Apollo’s shoulder
A rarity revealed
She rests her head as she calls her lover,
Still she keeps her love revealed.

Two souls fall in and out of the blue
Two souls who thought they knew the way.
Two souls without a word to say to one another
Two souls circle Our Mother the Earth.

Blessing, breathing,
Refreshing, relieving,
Spurring on life anew.
Two souls are left to
Kiss beyond the blue.
Casting a shadow upon
Those that would claim
They knew the way.

One Shot At Glory

Let me hear the battle cry
Calling on the wind
Let me see the banners fly
Before the storm begins
Let me feel the spirits soar
Destroy the enemy
Striking at the evil core
For all the world to see
This day will last forever
Deep in the hearts of men
Courage and victory
Remember, remember
One shot at glory
In the crossfire overhead
Fate stands before me
Words have all been said
One shot at glory
Driving hard and seeing red
Destiny calls me
One night of fire
One shot at glory
Fighting on with dignity
In life and death we deal
The power and the majesty
Amidst the blood and steel
I still hear the battle cry
The call goes on and on
I still see the banners fly
The battles always won

I Salute You Zaingair

Proud be you
You Zaingair
of thy unique name
of thy unique identity

Proud be you
You Zaingair
of thy waters
Sweet thy waters seem
but poisonous they are

Proud be you
you Zaingair
Of thy sheep
innocent they seem
but cunning they are

Proud be you
You Zaingair
Of thy variety of serpents
Meek they seem
But venomous they are

Proud be you
You Zaingair
Of thy singing birds
Depth in their songs seem
But shallow they are

Proud be you
You Zaingair
Of thy huge mountains
Consistent they seem
But vacillating they are

Proud be you
You Zaingair
Of thy monkeys
Social they seems
but aliens they are

I salute you
You Zaingair, i salute you
for the variety of beasts
You have begotten
And you do nurture

Sonnet – Amidst

Amidst pitch -black darkness, God shows a light;
Amidst a Forest thick, He shows a way;
Amidst black clouds, He brings a moonlit night;
Amidst sorrows, God gives a happy day.

Amidst the desert, Oasis God shows;
Amidst the stormy Sea, He brings calm;
Amidst much strife, He opens newer doors;
Amidst much hopelessness, a helping palm.

Amidst tempest, God shows a bright light-house;
Amidst the glaciers, much sought-after peak;
Amidst our solitude, He gives a spouse;
Amidst the ravines deep, the lost lamb meek.

Amidst the chaos, God ushers new hope,
Amidst the gloom, He gives the church a Pope.

Prayer Of Our Bodies

if you lay down with me,
will we rise up as one?
will the passionate fluid

of our souls wash
against the shores,
our spirits melting

into one blade,
so sharp it glitters
in the new morning sun?

will my life be the bridge,
yours the stepping stones?
will the prayer of our bodies

reach the ears of ecstatic hope?

Lamp of Crystal

Golden flame amidst silver mountains
Echo canyon still as moonlight
Love rides thunder in blood of passion
Drink from fountains of amethyst
Sanguine rubies of violet stars
Maidens of fire dance in gossamer blue
Red beams of Mars drink the light

Desire lit journeys into the fire
The earth dresses like a bride
Spring belongs to every bold lover
Sanctuary invites me into her forest
Rivers dressed in lime flow like elves
She has brought back the noble eagles
Diamond eyes sparkle like lighthouses

She walks on moss made of dreams
Tendrils of wildflowers by the sea
Her hair washed in the glorious dawn
Man awakes to his lovely destiny
Silhouettes share the sighing purples
Regal creation in mystical moonlight
We walk softly filled with radiant joy

Songs of the ancient garden
Man and woman amidst the summer
Shielded by flaming angels
Circles filled with rose pedals
Ideals in unspoken onyx necklaces
Consciousness revels in the universe
Candle of divine love in gowns of sky

Lamp of Crystal lit in the Milky Way

Dont Go Far Off Pablo

dont go far off stay close
stay where you have always been
like the sun, for eons, never disappointing
sending its light and cheers
the moon, never haunting,
for eons sending its inspiraton
dont go far off stay close
make my day a blessing to have
and night a sanctuary to luxuriate in
dont go far stay close
let your laughters fill my day
and your breath, my breath
let the day brighten up with optimism
and the night a wonder drive for morrow
dont go far stay close
as close as the heart can be
because when you are gone
the days are as good as it is without
the sun and the night moon
and the beach without the water
to carress and serenade its love song

Out Into The Blue

Blue.
Sky blue,
Eyes of blue.
Blue eyes,
Soul deep pools.
Talking silent words,
Soul words,
Words of the soul.
A deep well.
Well of souls,
A welling up.
Soul free.
Free souls.
Souls escaping,
Escaping the body
To soar.
Soaring souls.
Free.
Free souls,
Into the sky.
Sky blue.
Blue souls.

Life

The tick of a clock tells you the sign, the bell which rings never go by time - Am i reliable to die, in the custody drawn by space, without the sanctuary of boundaries - Will i be accepted by a society which rejects, by the ghosts which never roamed the dead by alive - Who will be the judge and who will fail by jury, the loved to be hated, again - I know my sins and i know my ways, does that cast me past the sinister waves - I water not the flowers to the bloom of tomorrow, i burden my cross with the nails of sorrow - I cry when i am alone, i bleed with my bones, my tears cry with the blue in the sky - My pain is my life which hails, the thunder in violence is my train which derailed

Faeries Dance

Under the black night sky
The souls of the world wake
The spirits of the woods never die
Enchanting flame and the faeries dance
Feel the Earth beneath us begin to move
The souls sing their song to the world
Evil held back by this night of romance
Watch the faeries dance, mezmerizing
Feel the spirits surround us
Hear the souls song, hypnotizing
Enchanting flame and we join the faeries dance
Our hearts together move the stones
Together at last the dawn arises
The souls of world finish their song
The spirits keep us safe from harm
As the faeries dance around the sun

When The Indians Cry

Verse 1:
Babe tell me where
Will you sleep tonight
For there's such a pain in my heart
And I've got a flame
That's dying inside
And I feel that we'll soon have to part
Chorus:
When the indians cry
And the eagles die
Cos the winds of change blow again
Then I'll know that you
Turned the world into blue
And my tears will fall like the rain
Verse 2:
Love can be so cruel
When the light of hope is gone
I know cos I felt it before
In the desert of fear
I can hear this old song
Of a love that won't live anymore
Chorus:
When the indians cry
And the eagles die
Cos the winds of change blow again
Then I'll know that you
Turned the world into blue
And my tears will fall like the rain
Instrumental Solo
Chorus:
When the indians cry
And the eagles die
Cos the winds of change blow again
Then I'll know that you
Turned the world into blue
And my tears will fall like the rain
Then I'll know that you
Turned the world into blue

Glory Ride

Winged with steel they fill the air
The soldiers of fortune will ride
In the sights of the enemys gun
Those who have taken their oaths
Tonight
Are well prepared they know theyll
Door die even if its suicide
Lets take a chance
As the skies will burn tonite
Wasted lives and spirits run free
On the wings of no return
Dressed to kill where eagles dare
The fate of a nations at hand
Is this the answer to the prayers
Come the dawn, thru the blood
Red skies return with tears
In their eyes, and they
Recall thou shalt not kill
And in the morning
Theyll take a heros bow
And make the ever lasting flight
Hear them calling up above all
Across the skies
Hear them calling up above from
The other side
Here them call!
Lets take a chance
As the skies will burn tonite
Wasted lives and spirits run free
On the wings of no return
Lets take chance
As the skies will burn tonite
Wasted lives and spirits run free
On the wings of no return

Sunset

The weary wind is slumbering on the wing:
Leaping from out meek twilight's purpling blue
Burns the proud star of eve as though it knew
It was the big king jewel quivering
On the black turban of advancing night.
In the dim west the soldiers of the sun
Strike all their royal colours one by one,
Reluctantly surrender every height.
